What would have happened if Nightmare Moon had actually been the betrayed sister? What would have happened if Nightmare Moon had come across a homeless filly in an alley way just after she escaped from the moon? If she had looked harder and found her sister's rule truely wanting? What if the only thing holding Equestria's peace and harmony together was Celestia's image of Invencible Perfection as the One True Goddess. And what happens when that image is finally shattered?

Note: Mature, Dark, Sex, and Gore tags are there for a reason, it just won't seem like it at first. The Anthro tag is because I prefer hands when writing while keeping the destinctive looks of the characters. Comedy has been added after looking at the inter-play between two charactors and seeing how hilariously they play off each other and how natural it feels to write them like this.

World Notes: Celestia has Imprisoned most of the other Gods of this Equus and is hell bent on being the one true Goddess. Cadance has taken the role as one of Celestia's Archangels. Shining Armor has is also an Alicorn Archangel and is known as Celestia's Blessed Shield and bears Gladius sol ira and Clypeum ex Divino Sole, a sword and shield forged in the fires of the sun. Twilight is being groomed to become an Alicorn Archangel and all Alicorn Archangels are mortal to keep them from usurping Celestia's power. Queen Chrysalis is one of the few free Gods left and sworn blood sister to Luna/Nightmare Moon. Nightmare Moon is not a possessing entity but is an honorific bestowed upon Luna in her role of Bellum magistra or War Mistress (think Octavius Caesar and how he was give the name Augustus which means most honored). And yes, I went there and had Luna Accended Scootaloo into a child Goddess, but Luna could only do it because there were God shaped holes that needed to be fill thanks to Celestia. A few other Gods are hiding in the wood works and may or may not be some familiar faces. Finally Celestia and Luna are Princesses, only marriage to another God can make one of them queen and given Celestia's attitude and Luna's wedding to Sombra on a very long postponement with the groom missing, this might take a while.
