Chapter 1: I have changed
Long story short. First question: Who am I?
My name is Steve, I am 18 and I am my own boss. Sort of. I am a website designer. I live in a small flat
which I have inherited from my grandparents. Next question - what am I doing? Currently I am trying to
watch a show made for little girls but my internet signal is giving me hard time. Of course, that may happen
when the storm is coming ("Brace yourselves!")
Yes, it was genius idea taking my tablet and going to the top of my building, during the storm just
because of watching something that was made for people 10 years younger than myself. But no more
questioning of my actions. The signal on the roof was not any better than inside of my flat. I was hardly
able to force the buffer to load to the point where the intro began. As if that wasn't enough, it started
raining.
"Screw this", I said to myself and started to move myself back, when I heard a loud thunder. It was really,
really loud. I got startled, luckily I didn't drop the tablet. Well screw the tablet, luckily
nothing bad happened to myself. In shock, I ran down the stairs to chill. I have returned to my flat and
started closing all the windows. Suddenly another super loud thunder stroke and what happened next was
beyond my senses. Nothing... Nothing...
Did I fall unconscious or did I just die? I didn't not know at the moment. It was one of those moments when
your mind is just drifting and you don't know what is real and what not. When I woke up, I could not put
the details together. It could have been minutes, maybe hours. When my vision stopped being blurry, I found
myself lying on the floor. I was kind of disoriented. I tried to lift myself up but some things
were not right. When I moved my head, something fell in front of my eyes. Hey, I don't rremember my hair
being this long. Wait, what's going on? Was I sleeping for so long that my hair grew long? Well now when
the hair was all that I could see, I had no idea why I couldn't just stand up. I think I was lying on
my side but that should not be a problem. After a while I sighed. "Ah, come on!..." - silence.
"Wait! What is with my voice?" "And this hair!" I was so shocked by this voice that I was barely able to
form a sentence. I was panicking and all that I could say was "I'm a girl!" Bravo, Steve, the 11th doctor
would be jealous of your drama queen acting. Except I was not acting. When I finally managed to move
my hair, I realized what is going on. (Well I doubt it was my hair, it was still black, or rather dark
brown, but this length was ridiculous).
So this is why I was unable to stand or even style my hair. Instead of my arms and legs there were 4
freaking hooves. I did not know how did my face look but it could probably resemble one of those
cartoonish memes saying "You cannot be serious". This was almost like some copy-pasted situation from any
cliché human-pony transformation fanfic. To say it the right way, I was freaked out. I was really freaked
out but my curiosity was even stronger than the shock of sudden change of species. It was fascinating.
Now I was expecting that I will have problems with walking or using the other abilities, depending on
being an earth pony, a pegasus or an unicorn. However, now when I was able to see, standing was actually
easy and it took me only a few minutes to adapt my walking style to quadruped. I admit this was weird
as hell but it was also something new. When I reached the mirror, I could actually see what was the
reason of my problems with moving my hair from my eyes. I had a horn. "OK, you unicorn, now tell
me who you are!"
Affirmative, talking to your mirror reflection is a sign of premanent insanity. But of course, not in
this case. This case was utterly crazy whatsoever. I still wasn't used to this voice but it was quite
funny. To take away the stress, I started singing to myself "This is my voice, my voice is amazing..."
Meanwhile I was trying what can the horn do and how can I control the magic. It was surprisingly easy.
At least the levitation, it felt as if I had invisible hands controlled by my mind. No, it was better,
I had much bigger reach than any hands could ever provide. I looked at the mirror once more.
"I don't know who you are but I am you only for a couple of minutes and I can levitate 8 objects
at the same time." I admit this was not bad at all but I was doing this just to take out the stress
connected to finding a way to turn back to my original self. I noticed that I even had a cutie mark on my
white flank, but I didn't know its meaning. The mark resembled the symbol you can often see on recycle
bins except it was more like a vortex. "Damn, does this mean my special talent is being a garbage man?"
I don't know but speaking like this with such high pitched cute voice did not feel right.
When I finally decided to go away from the mirror, I started feeling sharp pain in my head and suddenly
in the whole body, the loud thunder sound stroke again, even when the sky was clean long ago.
This time I stayed conscious and in an instant I felt myself being rather bigger, covered in familiar
cloth and suddenly much weaker. The things that were levitating in the air felt to the ground and
I fell on my belly.
I started examining my body just like the beforementioned 11th doctor, once again I looked into the mirror.
I was myself once again, but I was confused as hell. I don't do drugs or anything so what was this all about?
Dreams...
Magic, hell yeah. Well, who cares, if this event was actually real, there is no way this could happen again.
Or is it?

Chapter 2: Out of control
I am back, I am Steve, once again. Well at least for now,
because after the last experience I am not really sure what will I become
next time.
Two days have passed since my "accident" and everything seems to be normal.
I am still me, there is no way I would want to morph in front of someone...
My girlfriend Michelle, for example.
In fact, we started dating thanks to Friendship is magic series, she is much bigger
fan than myself and if she saw me like that I would probably spend the rest of
my life as her living plush toy.
The more time has passed the more comfortable I became with the fact that it will
never happen. In the other hand, it was a pity. Not because I had a chance to change
species and gender for almost 1 hour but most likely for the unique experience.
I was casting magic and stuff like that. What human can say that he was using real
magic? Well, this one. And nobody else.
I remember the appearance of my pony self, she had white coat with dark mane just
like my hair, similar manestyle to Dj Pon3, dark green eyes similar to mine,
just way bigger. And a vortex shaped cutie mark. What was that symbo's meaning?
What was my talent actually? It was already late and as I was going home from shopping,
I suddenly started thinking about the symbol. Recyclation. Cycle. The process when
something becomes something else and than returns to its original form.
Wait, does that mean it CAN actually happen again?
And how does it even work? I have decided to test it out, with confidence that if
it works, I can actually change back. I went to certain place out of the town that seemed
to be abandoned and tried to focus my mind. I was focusing on the pony form, the cutie
mark symbol, tried to perform some gestures or spells but nothing seemed to work. After an
hour I have lost patience. Maybe it was all just an illusion. A hoax made in my brain. Maybe
it never happened. Or maybe it was a one time only event. Maybe the storm executed the transformation.
I just gave up and decided to move. But right as I made one step, I heard a thunderbolt sound
and felt a familiar feeling.
I was thrown back and as I was lying on my side and having all of my
hair in my face, I sighed with girly voice. "I did it but it happened totally randomly, so all
of this was for nothing." I was not disappointed. Of course, all of this happenings go against all
laws of logic and manly pride but well... In order to gain something you need to sacrifice something
of the same price. Of course, my current state was beyond any scientific explanation.
No time to think now, while I have this body, I should take advantage of it.
First thing I tried to do was running. It was impossible to do before in my room. It was a little
bit harder than walking but soon I was sprinting like a racing horse. Of course you cannot reach
enough speed to perform a sonic rainbow when you cannot fly but with this speed I could probably win the
"running of the leaves" competition. That was it for the running, I also tried teleportation which
was quite hard to do but at least I didn't get stuck in a freaking wall or something. When I grew
tired, I have just lied on the grass and talked to myself a little, just to adapt to this voice.
My voice was not similar to any of the Mane six characters as I found out by trying to immitate them.
Of course. Immitating the pony voices with this body is a lot easier because my real voice was rather
deep and manly.
Speaking of my real voice, now I wonder how I turn back. Or actually, when I turn back.
Last time it could have been 50 minutes, now it can be sooner but actually much later.
Hell, now I realized something. Actually, when I morph into this form, where do my clothes and
stuff from my pockets go? "Magic" was the only word that could explain it. Because the fact that
my stuff was currently not accessible, I had no idea what time it is. More time passed and I still
did not change back. Despite my utter concentration, I just did not. I started to panic.
"How the hell do I change back!" "I cannot go home looking like this!"
