An Odd Being

"Uh-oh!" I say as my foot starts twitching. "My Pinkie Senses are tingling."

"What?" Twilight asks me. "What are they telling you?" Twilight has believed in my Pinkie Senses since the first time they happened after she arrived in Pony Ville.

"I--I think something is coming to the town. I don't know exactly, but it's something that's never been in Pony Ville before."

Twilight gives me a look, then dashes to her house. I follow her, wondering what she's up to. "Twilight!" I yell through the door. "Let me in!!" I know she probably won't open the door, so I back up until I feel a rock on my rump. Then I run as fast as I can toward her front door. About two seconds before I get there, the door opens, which sends me flying into a book shelf.

"Owww..." I mumble as multiple books fall on my head.

"Oh! Pinkie I'm so sorry!" Twilight exclaims. I know she is, but right at the moment I don't feel like accepting apologies. So I just huff. Another book falls on my head. This on catches my attention. "Odd Beings," it says on the cover. Interested, I open it up.

The book is filled with so many creatures I've never seen before. There's this one, called a Flor, that looks like a humming bird, a stork and a poodle combined. It has floppy ears, a dozen wings, a bright white snout, and a brown, green, white and blue body. I laugh at how stupid it looks. Twilight comes over, shooting me a look that says, "You're crazy."

I say, "Yeah, yeah, I'm crazy because I'm laughing at a book," but Twilight probably can't hear me because she starts laughing mid-sentence. She must have seen the Flor.

Just then, the ground starts shaking. It starts like a low hum, then gets stronger and stronger. We go outside and see a huge thing heading for Apple Jack's farm! I rush back inside, grab the book and frantically search for what I just saw. On the second last page, I find it. It's called an Odd. It hibernates during the Fall and Spring. It looks like a Noodle, but it has big arms and legs that it walks on. I gasp. "Why is it here?"

The book says it eats only apples so that explains why it's going to AJ's farm But why is such a creature here?
