Canterlot Murder.

Her Royal Highness Princess Celestia woke to a shadow standing over her. She leaped up, but the shadow waved it's horn and green magic pushed her down.

"W-w-who are you? Please, show y-y-yourself!" stuttered Celestia

"I suppose I must have a name. How about, Verdant. Verdant Growth.  My childhood name. Fare-thee-well Celestia, or should I say, Tia." The figure, Verdant Growth smiled at Celestia.

"Verdy? Verdant Is it really you? Please, say it's you!" Celestia was urgent now.

"No.I am not really "Verdy" anymore. I am Nature's Wrath. But, Tia, I still remember you. Wait, no.

NOOOOOOOO"

Verdant thrust her horn through Celestia's body, opened wings and flew off.

Celestia tried to scream, to yell, to warn her sister, her little Luna of the alicorn that a few hours ago she would have sworn was dead.
