"Wake up Twilight, there's an urgent message from the Princess!" Spike's call broke through the fog in Twilight's mind.

"A message from Princess Celestia! What is it Spike, what?" Twilight cried leaping up in shock!

"Calm down, Twi, it's from Princess Cadance, not Princess Celestia. Don't worry." Spike read the message.

"Oh my goodness. Twilight, read this, NOW!"

"What is it Spike?" Twilight read the message. It went like this:

Dear Princess Twilight,

I am truly very sorry to tell you the devastating news. Tell only your friends, and only Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Applejack. Make them swear not to tell ANYBODY about this.

You are probably wondering why there is so much secrecy. In fact, if the news got out, every single villain and threat to Equestria will be upon us by the thousands. The reason is this.

Princess Celestia is dead. Princess Luna is missing, presumed dead.

It is because of this news that I ask you to travel to the crystal empire at once. It is urgent. We must think of a way to prevent absolute disaster.
