Chapters Chapter 1: The Fall
Life... Life is full of surprises... I can't say that with a straight face, but in five minutes, that will change
I should probably present myself... My name is Zack, I'm 17, I'm French (nationality of the author) and I'm in a special class, full of geniuses, except I was, until soon, the shortest of my class and it scarred me for life... I always got bullied and it didn't help the fact that I beganwatching MLP when I was 13... Although some good friends supported me, my life felt... empty...
I'm an average man, black-haired, green-eyed, wearing glasses and of an average body and that's all that people see in me. When not in contact with JERKS (like most of the bronies that I joined) I'm actually kind and honest... But in contact with jerks, my jerk side rises: mean, cruel and sometimes violent...
I'm probably boring you with this, so I'll cut to the chase... It's a bright evening, I am at my home waiting for the next episode of MLP to come out and watching fanart in my bedroom when my poster in front of my bed begins to glow. It's nothing special just a plain old poster of the Mane 6 and Celestia... 'What is happening ?' It's my first thought when I begin walking to the poster. I cant't help but look at it, I'm mesmerized... As soon as I touch it, a lavender aura surrounded me and transported me through the poster...
As soon as I was transported through the poster I sunk into unconsciousness... And I'm right now falling through the night sky 'So beautiful...' I then realize that the ground is getting dangerously close to me ! "Aaaaaaaaaah !!!" 'What's happening ?! Okay Zack, keep cool... How can I keep cool when the ground is so close to me !?' A few seconds later (filled with panic and confusion) I land... not softly, on the ground. 'Why did that happen ? Ok let's recap ! I fell through my poster and I land somewhere with no clue where I am or how to get out ! I just hope mom and dad won't miss me too much, I couldn' t even say goodbye...' is all I can think while the pain shooted through my body as I fell unconscious again...
The sun is shining bright high up in the sky as I'm waking up 'Huh ? Where am I ?' I open my eyes and see a crowd staring at me, they seem... scared ? 'Do they have... nuzzles ?' The people did have nuzzles, hooves on their legs and... 'Wings and HORNS ?' Suddenly a memory from my world struck: 'OK wait a sec ! Before it all happened I was watching ANTHRO fanart ! Could it be ?'It's only now that I come to realize that this ressembles Ponyville a LOT. Almost like it was... As stupid as it may sound I am now in an Anthro Equestria ! Suddenly 6 girls and a boy stand out rom the crowd and begin walking in my direction:
A lavender one with straight dark purple hair with pink stripes and a horn. She's wearing a dark blue shirt with a pink star at chest level and blue jeans, it seems she's accompagnied by a purple dragon with green scales, he wears a white jacket with a black t-shirt and dark blue jeans.
A cyan one with wings and out of bed rainbow colored hair, she's wearing a light blue shirt that comes to her belly and black sports shorts.
A white one with curled purple hair and a horn, she's wearing a white dress that comes to her knees with three diamonds on her shoulder
A yellow one with straight pink hair, a green sweater, dark red jeans and a hair slide with three pink butterflies
A pink one with pink poofy hair, she's wearing a yellow sleeveless shirt and a dark pink skirt with three baloons on the belt: two blue and one yellow in the center
And an orange one with blonde hair tied to a... ponytail 'Kinda ironic if you ask me' with a white shirt and a brown jacket, brown jeans and, last accesory, she's wearing a brown cowboy hat with three apples on the side
You guessed right: these are the anthro versions of the mane 6 and Spike ! 'Is that... OH MY GOSH ! OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH !' I slap myself mentally 'Ok Zack, keep your fanboyism out of the way... Stay put ! That's strange, they all have mannequin bodies... am I in a dream about my unknown darkest fantasies ?' I then pinch myself 'Ouch ! Definitly not a dream... They maybe do not have the same names or personnalities...'
"Uh, sir, are you okay ?" the lavender one then asks me.
"Oh, sorry I'm fine" I then get up and then continue "Who are you ?"
"Oh, right ! You are in the land of Equestria and this is the village of Ponyville. We're the heroes of this land, I'm Twilight Sparkle, faithful student of the princess of the sun, Celestia and the Element of Magic." the lavender one said 'I already know that but i'd better not tell her...'
"I'm Spike the dragon, number 1 assistant of Twilight and proud of it !" the purple dragon exclaimed his arms crossed
"I'm Rainbow Dash, best flyer in Equestria, captain of the Weather patrol and Element of Loyalty " she said while flapping her wings and FLYING.
"I'm Rarity, unicorn owner of the Caroussel Boutique and other boutiques throughout Equestria, I'm the Element of Generosity, it's nice to meet you darling !" she said while lowering her head her little
"I'm...Fluttershy" 'Weird, I can't hear this yellow pegasus'
"Sorry, didn't catch that."
"She's Fluttershy," Twilight intervened"lover of animals, she lives in a cottage next to the forest and takes care of them, she's the Element of Kindness. She's a quiet pegasus most of the time...
"I'mPinkiePiebakeratSugarcubeCornerElementofLaughterwe'regonnabebestiesyou'llsee!" The pink pony... yelled
"And ah'm Applejack, head of the Apple family, farmer at Sweet Apple Acres, Element of Honesty, glad to meet ya !" 'Okay, same name, same personnalities, same voices AND they are in the form that enjoy I the most... I think I can now proclaim myself the luckiest person in the world !'
"Glad to meet you all !" I replied, happy to meet them for real !
"But, who are you and where do you come from ?" Twilight asks
"I'm Zack, and I'm from a world called Earth ! I appeared in the sky during the night and fell right here... How and when did you discovered me ?"
"We discovered you this morning thanks to Rarity, and we waited for you to wake up !"
"I was just chasing Opalescence, my cat, who clawed my fabric AGAIN !" Rarity replied, a little angry. I then heard my stomach growling
"If this is like in our world, ya need to eat badly, sugarcube !" 'I love that nickname...'
"Yup, but I don' know where to eat...
"Ah know ! How about Sugarcube Corner ?" Applejack proposed
"Great idea !" Pinkie then jumped in the air so high, I lost her...
"Wait... How is she doing that ?
"It's Pinkie Pie, don't question it..." Rainbow replied
"Let's go ! To Sugarcube Corner everypony !" Applejack then grabbed my hand 'It's soft and smells like (of course) apples, so soft...'
"Uh, darling ? Do you have a fever ?" Sometimes, I hate my body and this is one of those times...
"N,no... I'm fine..." We then began to walk to Sucarcube Corner...
Here begins my adventures through Equestria !

Chapter 2: Sugarcube Corner and this world
We then go through the crowd and began to visit Ponyville: We go at the Golden Oak Library, Fluttershy's cottage near the Everfree Forest, Caroussel Boutique and finally Sugarcube Corner "I have an idea ! We should take a little meal there !" Pinkie exclaimed, excited. "Seems like a good idea to me" Applejack says with a smile. We then enter and take a table. We order cupcakes and we settle down.
"Okay Zack, I've been meaning to ask: What is your world like exactly ?" Twilght asks "That's our Twilight... Always curious..." Rainbow Dash mutters looking at the ceiling "Where do I begin... Probably with the fact that the dominant species is humans like me. We're kinda like you except not with nuzzles, hooves and... no magic..." I say while making the last words die "WHAT ! NO MAGIC ?!" They all shout in unison making me flinh a little "BUT HOW DO YOU EVEN LIVE ?!" 'Technology' "HOW DO YOU FARM ?!" 'Technology' "AND HOW DO YOU PARTY ?!" 'and technology...' I try to explain to all of them what life is like without magic. "Anyways, what are you planning to do tomorrow ?" Twilight asks "I don't really know... First off, I should probably try getting new clothes. can you do it for me Rarity ?" 'I should probably use a shower too...' "It's fine darling, come tomorrow and I'll make you some new clothes !" Rarity said with a smile. "And besides that... I don't really know what I can do... Maybe I'll find out tomorrow..." I then look at the window. I see lots of ponies at a park that's just next to Sugarcube Corner, I then look at the sky through the window and I see that the sun is already setting ! And apparently, Rarity notices it too "Oh my ! We should probably go home !" then, a question hits me like a truck. "Wait a second... Where will I stay ?!" I never thought about it before but I'm not going to sleep on the street am I ? "Good question..." Twilight says. We then each think about a place where I could sleep. Applejack raises her head and says "Ah know, you should sleep at my house ! I have an extra bedroom !" "..." 'Why can't I respond ?' "Okay Zack, are you sure you haven't got a fever ?" 'Thanks for giving me the answer, Rainbow...' "No, I'm sure !" I say louder than I intend to "Okay, okay ! Don't shout at me like that !" She pauses and puts up a big grin "But I think I know why you shouted..." Her grin transforms into a mischievious smile before approaching my ear and whispering "...it seems SOMEONE has a crush on AJ..." I invented a new shade of dark red, see, it's on my cheeks right now ! I then shout "Rainbow are you crazy ?! And why would I anyways ?!" "Seems to me that your reaction proves it..." "What ?! No it's not !" AJ then asks me "What are you talkin' about ?" I then observe my surroundings and see that everyone in Sugarcube Corner was looking at me... 'Awkward...' RD then puts an evil smile before saying "Oh you know, just the fact that he might have a !" I then panic and, out a first reflex, I put my hand on her mouth. She lets out a few muffled words before I follow her sentence "Have a hard time getting used to a pony lifestyle... Anyways the sun is setting and we should get moving !" We go up and separate with me and Applejack walking side by side. We then walk for a few minutes before seeing something in the park...
I see in the park a mare with her colt, playing together, I stop suddenly 'Mom and me used to play like that... Mom...mom...' I can't control my emotions anymore, I just...can't... 'Mom...' I get a few flashbacks... me and my mom playing video games, she and I talking English instead of French (our home language), my dad playing with me at Magic and Dungeons & Dragons and finally my mom, my dad, my sister and me hugging each other tightly after I cried, of joy, of sadness, of rage... 'Mom, dad, sister... I thought that Earth sucked except for a few things but...will I ever get back ? My family...' I then cry silently and kneel down putting my head in my palms. I can sense the water flowing down on my cheeks and the cold air of the evening but I continue anyways, I then begin feeling a sudden warmth pressed against my back and someone -or rather somepony- hugging me tightly. '...! AJ ? Is that her ?' AJ indeed noticed me and saw me crying, knees on the floor. "Shh... Zack, are you okay ?" I then seperate my hands from my palms 'AJ... I can tell her...' "AJ... It's my family, my home, everything... Will I ever see them again ?" AJ then releases me go towards my front and looks at me straight in the eyes "Zack, ah'm sure you'll find a way one day, Ah promise... And until this time I can promise to you that my friends, my family and myself are gonna take good care of you..." She then resumes the hug as I return it and put my head on her shoulder "Thanks AJ... I can assure you that it means a lot for me... so from the bottom of my heart thaks...thanks a lot..." We then continue this hug for what seems like one year for me, the warmth of her body, AJ constantly reassuring me... It makes me feel a lot better, all thanks to her... "Thanks AJ, we should continue now..." We get up and we see that a few ponies have been watching us. '...' We then realize this and we go up as fast as we can and we explain ourselves before running away like the cowards we are...
We arrive at Sweet Apple Acres and we begin visiting it before going to the house: the orchards, the barn and the pond: "By the way, Zack, since it's summer, our friends and I will probably swim in here so you should soon get swim trunks." "I'm adding that to my to do list...' and we take a stroll to the path that leads to the house when I feel a bit hungry "AJ ? Can I take one of the apples ?" "Sure Zack, why not ?" I take a red apple and bite it. As the taste begins filling my mouth I'm taken away by nostalgia again...
*Flashback*
I see mom running after me through the living room before settling me down "Mom, no ! Let me go !" "No Zack ! It's good for you !" she says while holding a red and yellow round object, before I can reply she shoves it in my mouth. Reluctantly, I took a bite and instantly loved it. "Wow, mom, it's great ! What's it called ?" "It's an apple dear more precisly...
A Pink Lady..."
*End of Flashback*
"A Pink Lady..." I say dazing off "Hey Zack... I know what will wake you up !" She then does something unexpexted... She approaches me and kisses me on the cheek... I blush madly (I lost the amount of times I did this) but it works ! My train of thoughts instantly stops but my brain shuts down too... "Hey Zack ! We're almost here !" I wake up from my mental daze and begin walking again.
'So sweet... I wonder if someone except my family would have done something like that on Earth...'

Chapter 3: The Apple Family
We arrive after a few minutes to the red wood house, home of the Apple family. And after all this walk I ask myself one small but very important question 'How will her family react to me entering their house ?' After all, I'm a stranger and I've the nerve to ask them to host me ,for only god knows how long. 'Will they kick me out ? Will they get angry at AJ ? I'm beginning to feel worried so I ask Applejack about it.
"Oh ah'm sure it'll be just fine. It's no big deal, I assure you" she replieswith a confident smile on her face as she approaches the door and knocks. After a few seconds an old lady opens the door: she arrives at my shoulder, has green skin and has a white bun. She wears a white shirt under an apron and a green skirt. 'Okay here's the moment of truth...'
"Hello AJ, I wonder where you were !" She then drifts her gaze towards me "Who's this fellow ?" She asks with a confused expression 'Called it, she's suspicious...' Before i can present myself, AJ cuts me.
"His name is Zack. He comes from another world called Earth, my friends and I found him unconscious at the town square and after we talked for the afternoon, I suggested that he could maybe stay home until he can find one..." 'Wow, thanks AJ...' I stood still for what seemed like an eternity until a smile appears on her face.
"Of course he can stay ! After all, we can't let him sleep outside, right ?" I let out a sight of relief and she says to me "I'm Granny Smith but you can call me Granny !"
"Nice to meet you Granny !" She lets us enter and guides us (or rather me) to the living room. It's a large room with a rocking chair, two leather red armchairs and a two person black sofa all put in a circular arc with in the center a lit fireplace. On the other side of the room there was a table with six chairs. AJ and I sit down on the sofa and Granny goes upstairs. We wait a few minutes for her and she comes back with a big bulky red earth pony with a brown mane and... a plaster on his right arm ? 'Why is that ?' I'm asking myself but I guess he'll explain it to me... My gaze drifts towards a tiny yellow a girl with a red mane with a pink bow on it, they're both wearing casual everyday clothes. I hear someone coughing as Granny speaks up.
"These are the big brother and little sister of Applejack: Big Macintosh and Applebloom" They stare at me for five seconds and then introduce themselves. I present myself back and we talk as Granny goes to the kitchen. A few minutes later we can hear Granny say,
"Dinner's ready !" After hearing that, my stomach growls telling me to go for it. We set down and begin to eat and...
"Wow, it's really good !" I can hear myself saying as I eat another fork of the delicious meal.
"Oh thanks a lot ! I'm glad you appreciate it !" Granny smiles brightly as I continue eating, after a few forks I suddenly begin to feel really bad... Not that the food is bad, it's just like I feel like abusing them...
"Can't I help you with something ?" Everyone then looks at me with a confused look upon their faces, as I begin to realise the weirdness of my question, I continue "Huh, what I mean is, you feed me, you give me a shelter, can't I pay you back in some way ?"
"Well if you insist, as you can see Big Macintosh broke his arm while apple bucking and maybe you can take his place ?" Applejack says hesitant.
"Of course I can ! And maybe I can do something else..." When I say these words the eyes of Applebloom enlighten as she shouts,
"Maybe you can take me to school after the apple bucking ! This would be so cool !" I agree and we finish eating. As we finish Applejack looks at me and says "We will wake you up so be ready !" I say that I'll be and we climb up the stairs to get to the second floor. The second floor is a basic hallway with 6 doors, 5 bedrooms and a bathroom. As everyone goes in their rooms, AJ indicates my room and before she leaves I say.
"I gotta say AJ, thanks, thanks for everything...
"It's ok, AJ, sorry to open an old wound...
"Thanks for listening to me, Zack, it means a lot..." Without letting me react she enters her rooom at a pretty fast pace. I'm frozen for a bit and I enter the room. It's a pretty small room with just a wooden closet a red king size bed and a window with shutters. 'I'll sleep in my pants until I get a pajama from Rarity...' I close the shutters, undress and go in my bed. After this long day, I fall asleep almost immediatly...
I wake up by the sound of someone knocking on my door, judjing by the light coming from the shutters the sun just rose. Guessing it'll be someone from the family I say :
"Enter !" The door opens and Applejack appears wearing a simple white and sky blue striped pajama. She then approaches my bed.
"Hey AJ, what are you doing here ?pleasure ..." As she approaches me even more, I'm beginning to feel butterflies in my stomach. I get up but she instantly pinns me down.
"AJ what are you..." She puts a finger on my mouth to stop my talking.
"It's okay, Zack just relax..." She looks at me with a lustful expression as her face approaches mine, she puckers her lips and continues to get closer to me. My body takes control over my mind as my face begins to drift towards her. We get closer and closer, our lips are only inches away and we...
"COCORICOOO !" I wake up suddenly as the rooster shouts, I open my shutters and I look at him. I'm boiling inside and even though it's an animal, I need to let out my rage...
"OH COME ON ! ARE YOU KIDDING ME ! THE ONE GOOD DREAM I HAD IN YEARS ! AND YOU NEED TO WAKE ME UP ! CURSE YOU !" 'Aaah... I feel much better now' After this torrent of rage, I hear a knock on the door, I open the door and I find AJ on the other side. She's wearing the same pajamas from my dream which instantly makes me blush. She speaks up:
"Are you ok Zack ? You're red and you were shouting like a mad man !
"Oh... N-nothing important..." She waits for me to answer the question but ultimately gives up.
"It's alright, if you don't want to talk about it... Anyways, take a shower, dress up andwe can get ready to work !" I agree and make my way toward the bathroom as a question pops towards the
"How are you today Zack ?" Big Mac asks me.
"Perfectly fine..." I try to sound as convincing as I can while trying to forget the whole imagination and internal conversation thing.
"You sure, you sound a bit off...
"Anyways, I'm ready to work !" We take our breakfast (which is delicious by the way) and we get prepared for work.
'This is going to be a long day...'

Chapter 4 : First day in Equestria
"Come on Zack, keep it up !" I was working since noon and it's much harder than it looks. AJ was kicking the tree, picks up the apples puts them in baskets. I pick up the baskets, put them in a cart and bring it to the farm. Seems simple enough right ? I thought that too. 'I'm starting to think that it was a bad idea. At least, with AJ, it's easier and I can admire her beautiful face, her magnificient green eyes and...'
"Zack, why are you starin' like that ? You're starting to creep me out..." I facepalmed and replied
"Sorry AJ..." She replies: "Is something troubling you ? -No, it's fine we should get back to work..." We get back to work in silence 'Great job, you idiot ! Now it's awkward !'
After two hours, we finish. 'Thank god... I'm exhausted... But at least it's done...'
"Great job Zack, you did well ! -Thanks AJ, I couldn't have it done without you. -Oh I'm sure you could have... Anyways ! You're dismissed !" I thank her and go towards the house, go up the stairs and knock on the door of Applebloom's room.
"Coming !" She opens the door "Oh hello Zack ! You're here to bring me to school ? -Eeyup ! Ready ? -Yeah let's go !" She picks up her backpack and we go.
"So, Applebloom, do you know the way to school ? -Of course I do ! -Lead the way then !" We walk for a few minutes, I get a few looks from the other ponies but I don't really care
"Applebloom, why exactly did you want me to walk you to school ? -Because I want to show to my friends ! And also because it's closer to Rarity's shop... -Your friends ? -Yeah ! With Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo we are the Cutie Mark Crusaders, or CMC for short. -I'll maybe sound stupid but... what is a cutie mark ? -It's okay if you don't know. A cutie mark is a mark that appears on our flanks whenever we discover our purpose in life. It's usually a representation of our talent. To show it we put it on our clothes, you probably seen it for example with Big Mac on his belt. We the CMC are a club dedicated to finding our cutie marks ! -That's very useful ! In our world we have to find it ourselves, it doesn't always go well... -Huh..." We then arrived at the school where I saw two fillies: a white unicorn with pink and light pink mane and an orange pegasus with a purple mane accompanied by... Rainbow Dash ?! Applebloom spoke up
"Howdy Scoots ! Sweetie Belle !" Both fillies run towards her and Sweetie asks
"Hi Applebloom ! Do you got someone for the show and tell ?" Applebloom's eyes widen as she states in shock
"Oh no, I forgot !" She turns towards me and says "Could you help me with something ? -Sure ! What is it ? -We present someone to the class and it's my turn but I completely forgot to bring someone ! Can you help me with it ?" I have a small moment of thinking then I reply
"Sure, when do you have to do it ? -After lunch... -I'm fine with it." The bell rings and she runs towards the school with Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle.
"Thanks Zack, see you at lunch !" I wave goodbye as she gets into the school. I then turn to RD.
"Hello RD ! What are you doing here ? -Howdy Zack. I need to go to Rarity's shop so she can stitch up one of my clothes. I ripped it against a branch... -Can I go with you ? I don't know the way and I need to get new clothes... -Sure !" RD and I continued walking for a moment until she decided to start up the conversation.
-So how was your first night and morning ? -Oh, it went fine... -Do you got to talk with your crush? -Please... It's already really embarrassing as is with what happened..." She looks at me, seemingly confused
"What do you mean ?" 'Oh shoot...' I reply as fast as I can.
"Nothing ! Absolutely nothing ! -Yeah... You look like you have something to confess... Anyways, here we are." The boutique was in front of us. RD ringed at the bell and Rarity welcomes us:
"Good morning darlings ! Enter please !" We enter and I see this enormous room filled with dresses, T-shirts, mannequins (human/pony sized) for male and female. They're everywhere ! I can't even begin to count the number of them ! The shock passes and Rarity makes us enter a small room right next to it: it's a small room with a sewing machine and lots of fabric of different colours.
"So ? What do you want ?" Rainbow answers first. -Oh I was wondering if you could stitch back this sweater." She shows the red sweater and Rarity replied. "Oh, of course darling ! Come back tonight and it'll be as good as new ! -Thanks !" Rainbow says as she leaves.
"So Zack ? Let's begin ! -Yeah sure !" -Okay, just give me a second to go fetch my material." She goes through another door and comes back. She starts mesuring and we begin to discuss. About her job, my planet and we then talk about last night: "How did last night went, Zack ?" I cringe a bit remembering that stupid dream. I respond, flustered
"It was fine, AJ's family was really welcoming to me and i even begun working ! -And how do you find AJ ?" I raise my eyebrow, a bit confused "I mean, was she friendly, you see darlin' she can be a bit, how do you say... lacking manners... -No it was really good, she's kind, generous, humourous, and *happy sigh* beautiful..." I realize what I said and continue "I mean, all the guys must find her beautiful right ?" Rarity looks at me with a smirk 'I don't know why but I don't like that smirk...' She finishes, I go eat and I head to school...
