I sprinted down the bridge corridor of the RAS Prosecutor as blaster fire rang out around me. I adjusted my visor mode and looked on Fixer’s POV. He was low on ammo and currently slicing a door while Sev laid down heavy blaster fire on the rapidly approaching droids. I snapped back to my POV as I came upon the bridge door. A quick slice later, and I was firing as fast as I could at line after line of battle droids. A few seconds later, Scorch came in through the door followed by Fixer and Sev. They helped me destroy the last of the battle droids and then we went up to the console and I noticed Fixer had taken a few shots to the back. It was nothing some bacta couldn’t fix. We spotted a Separatist jammer and planted an explosive charge, destroying the interference and heard the Advisor come back onto comms.
“Deltas, the scanners indicate there is a large Separatist battleship approaching the ship. You need to make a blind jump! It is your only chance.”
I said, “Are you sure, sir? We could end up anywhere in the known galaxy, or even outside it.”
“Either that or die at a Separatist firing squad.”
“Blind jump it is then.”
I ordered Fixer to engage the hyperdrive. He quickly walked over and started typing on the console. Suddenly, the door to the Bridge was breached. We fought hard against the counterattack, and eventually emerged victorious. Then, we all heard the hyperdrive reactors activating and the Advisor said,
“You should probably find a place to strap in.”
We walked over to the bridge seats and strapped in. The ship started to slow down as the hyperdrive drew power. We looked out the viewport and said in unison,
“Here we go!”
The ship jumped into hyperspace, throwing us back into our seat in the process. I managed to look over at the console, and switching to my helmet comms, I said,
“Anyone know some stories to pass the time? We have a few hours.”
Scorch piped up in his usual cheery voice, “Once upon a time, there were four commandos. One of them was named Scorch, and he was the leader and ultimate hero. He always yanked the others out of trouble, gaining him the title “Republic Defender.” Then he-”
“Okay, enough of that. Fixer, you got anything?” I asked.
“No sir, shouldn’t we be wondering about where we’re gonna emerge and formulating a battle plan for if it is a hostile world?”
“Easy up, Fixer, we don’t need to die of boredom.” Scorch said.
Fixer replied, “Sir, shouldn’t we?”
“You are correct, Fixer, we should think of any possible scenarios. Spill your ideas.” I said.
“If it is a Separatist world, what should we do?” Fixer asked.
“On the rare chance it is a Separatist world,” Scorch snorted, “Maybe we should bore them to death formulating a way over-complicated war plan and allow them to storm our ship as we waste time making plans.”
“Shut it, Scorch. We should scour the ship for spare ammo, and then make our way out through the escape pods, and leave them to search the ship while we find a decent hiding spot.” I said.
“Good idea, sir.” Fixer said.
“Oh-Seven, why have you been so quiet?” I asked.
“Oh, just thinking. Sorry, sir.”
‘Okay,’ I thought, ‘Just gotta get the men off the ship, then formulate a plan to contact the Republic. Simple enough.’
“Sir, we are coming out of hyperspace.” Fixer said, yanking me back to the real world.
“Okay Deltas, let's prepare for hard contact.”
The ship jumped out of hyperspace, and I saw a small planet that looked kind of like Naboo. I went to engage planetary landing systems, but suddenly, the ship lurched and we started plummeting down towards the small, green planet.
“Sir! We’re going down!”
Fierfek! We’re going to crash!
“Okay, everyone brace yourselves.”
---------------------
Twilight Sparkle was looking out of her library’s observatory window when she noticed a big, white, metal bird plummeting towards the Everfree Forest.
“Spike, take a note.”
“Okay Twilight!”
Spike appeared, holding a scroll and a quill in his claws.
“Dear Princess Celestia, there is a big metal bird falling out of the sky towards the Everfree and I do not know what to do. Your Faithful Student, Twilight. Send it, Spike!”
“Got it!”
Twilight watched as the letter turned into smoke and flew out of the room. She only hoped the Princess would get this in time before the bird crashed.

Chapter 1: New Faces and a (not so) Dramatic Standoff
Metal. Metal screeching against metal was all I heard as the ship took a hard landing in the trees. I watched out the viewport as I noticed an abundance of black trees.
Wait, black trees?
I quickly jumped up and noticed that my squad was knocked out, and saw that Fixer's helmet had a large crack running up the visor. I stumbled towards the wall, but then a panel came loose and knocked onto my helmet. Then, all I saw was black.
I awoke and quickly noticed a fire on the back of the bridge. I jumped up and grabbed the fire extinguisher and quickly doused the flames. Coughing, I noticed my helmet's air filter was broken. I stumbled towards a large hole on the front of the bridge and heard talking.
Hopefully a Republic recovery team, and not a Separatist salvage squad.
I walked over towards the oh so blinding light and saw, brightly colored, equines, that appeared to be the source of the talking.
Fierfek, did I hit my head?
I speculated whether my mental state was stable until one of them noticed me. I quickly whipped out my rifle and said on my helmet communication system,
"Brothers, you need to come over here NOW."
They slowly walked into view and I noticed that Fixer was not wearing his helmet. I said,
"Uh, are you guys seeing this too?"
Fixer looked and choked on his tongue momentarily.
"Sir, are those horses?
"Apparently. They are headed this way and I do not know if they are Separatist affiliated or not, so get ready."
We all grabbed our combat rifles and stared at a horse in bright gold armor waving a spear threateningly.
"Seriously? Where'd you guys lose your blasters?" Scorch sneered.
A taller, white horse with moving hair, wings, and a horn? said quietly,
"Hm, they speak perfect Equestrian. How strange."
Fixer raised his rifle and said menacingly,
"Stop where you are. This is the Republic Military."
A lavender colored horse with a horn? said,
"What is the Republic Military?"
"You've got to be kidding me." Sev said.
I said in retaliation to the horse's question, wait, a horse asked a question?
"We are clone soldiers employed by the Galactic Republic. Now, are you with the Separatists?"
"What are the Separatists?" the aforementioned horse asked.
Great. They are probably one of those hippocrit neutral planets with all of their peace-talks and all that other nonsense. I wonder if they even know what a spaceship is?
"And, why did you come falling out of the sky in a big metal bird?"
Well, that answers my question.
"That is a Republic Assault Ship. Don't tell me you've not heard of space travel, have you?" I asked.
"Well, Princess Luna was banned to the moon a few thousand years ago."
Wait. Did it just say a few thousand years ago? Nothing can possibly live that long.
"How long is the average horse's lifespan?"
"Well, earth ponies, pegasi, and unicorns have about an 90 year lifespan while alicorns are immortal."
Immortal!?! How is that even possible?
"*Sigh* Just don't make any sudden moves." I said.
We retreated back to the ship, and I said, "Squad, let's make a break for the edge of the forest. If I remember right from the approach, we should head north for 2 klicks. Then let's look for the nearest town or city and try to find any of these ponies owners."
We snuck around the edge of the ship and broke into a run for the north. Five minutes later, we exited the forest and saw a rural farm town. We went prone and approached a hill by the edge of the town. I pulled out my macrobinoculars and looked at the town, searching for any droids.
All I saw were ponies.
Ponies everywhere.
"Oh boy." I said.
Author's Note
I want to apologize in advance for chapters coming out slowly. I will only be writing on weekends and this summer I am traveling a lot. Naturally, I cannot type and drive (what do you think I am, some kind of superhuman?) so expect maybe twelve chapters by the end of summer. Then it will go back to weekends only, and I am probably boring you to death with this long author note. Now excuse me while I go jump off a bridge.
