Old friends from school may have more in common that they ever thought. Lyra and Twilight discover more than their love of learning. What starts as a lonely train ride from Canterlot to Ponyville turns into a journey of discovery.
Twilight also finds that the old school friend has a traumatic secret that Twilight is determined to help support and in doing so, finds her dreams and wishes come true.
