Chapter 2

Eclipse trotted up to the castle of Friendship with a smile on her face before raising a hoof up to knock on the castle door a few times before setting her hoof back down as she waited for the answer of being allowed in, at the same time she was wondering why there was no guards or anypony else on her trip here after the quick meeting of the CMC, she soon decided to go in and wait in the lobby so she let her magic flow through her horn before using it to open the door to the castle lobby so she can trot inside.

Once Eclipse was inside as well closing the door to the castle lobby she looked around in the darkness looking both confused and puzzled at how dark it was, she was even tempted to using one of her three flare spells, she had one to light for a big room like the lobby or throne room, one for a small town like ponyville like the sun was out, and one for a city as big as Manehattan in three levels, weak for the first, medium for the second and strong for the third, the second the third were very strong and in a lobby or small space can cause blindness, she found that out when she was attacked by a hydra before, the poor thing, but before she would use the weak flare spell she called out. "Hello? Anypony here?"

She waited for a few seconds before choose to use the weak flare spell, but before she could even so much let a tiny amount of magic flow through her horn the lights all snapped on before a rather massive "SURPRISE!!!!!!" which startled her caused her to let out a adorable "Eeep!"as well her magic going into a reflex with a surprising amount of speed with prefect casting of a invisibility spell that made her whole body disappear as she stared at the large gathering of ponies in the room which also made her pause after she was invisible to them, of course her necklace has a dormant enchantment that allows her invisibility to stay up to a hour or hour and a half for good stealth as well a easy get away.

The ponies in the room looked around while wondering where the guest of honor went too, most thought she teleported, unlike twilight and pinkie. twilight sensed a spell being casted but that was it while pinkie looked right where she was while using her pinkie sense to tell where she was, which was long and was rather easy. "Come on silly filly it's just a Welcome to ponyville surprise party." Pinkie said while pointing her hoof up to the banner that was indeed has "Welcome to ponyville".

Eclipse stared at the banner before using her magic to canceled her invisibility off as well the enchantment that maintained the spell, she looked around while smiling sheepishly at every other pony in the room to see a lot of ponies she just seen by a glance on the way into town while some she has met like rarity and fluttershy along with the CMC along with the rest of the bearers of Harmony being there. "So sorry everypony but I sometimes have a quick magic reflex like that when startled, also thanks for the party." Eclipse said before trotting more into the room to meet and greet other ponies for the next few minutes before she was able to meet with applejack and chat with her as well getting a chance to talk with fluttershy and rarity again, meeting and chatting with pinkie pie was rather strange for her but thanks to the other others she was able to withstand her strangeness of her, as they say "Pinkie being pinkie" she even got to meet rainbow dash.

"Your the one that did the famous sonic rainboom aren't you?" Eclipse asked the cyan mare as she just got to meet the mare that was with the orange filly that had that scooter. Rainbow looked up from scootlaloo before breaking into a grin. "Yeah I am, guessing you seen it?" Rainbow asked while feeling proud that another pony knew about her and her rainboom. Eclipse smiled before answering her. "Actually I seen all three rainbooms" Eclipse said before freezing after what she said because after all she may be taller then most ponies here, the closest to match her height would be big mac she meet and he was by the name said was big for a stallion, but her over all look made her look like she was younger then even rainbow by a few years, like she had a rather good growth spurt.

Rainbow could tell she had a growth spurt at a young age because she had over heard that she was a few years younger then her, and that would mean she would have ether be a foal or not born yet so she kept that to herself and stayed calm till she could get more info because she could have a photograph memory. "Sweet so you saw all of them, hey sorry about leaving so soon but I wanna to teach scoots here more about flying." Rainbow used a hoof to scootaloo while she smiled before showing them on the way out to teach scootaloo some more.

Eclipse watched them go before looking around to find twilight sparkle, she soon found her with the black coated alicorn filly from before so she started to trot over to them as well just now picking up on their conversation. "But mom I don't trust that new pony, she is hiding something and I know it." Nyx whined to twilight while looking up at her. "I don't know sweetie but I am surprised at how good her magic is and the speed is something a normal unicorn even before I became a alicorn could not do, there is something not right but I'm sure yet." Twilight said before noticing the mare in question trotting up to them. "Yes how can I help you un...I'm sorry but I don't know your name yet." she said.

Eclipse smiled before nodding her head. "It's Shadow Eclipse but please call me Eclipse, also your friend Rarity said I could talk to you if I could stay here till I can get enough bits to buy me ether a hotel or house here, I can help around the castle if you like me too." Eclipse said while looking at twilight.

Twilight looked at Eclipse while also think that she could see what she was hiding if she stayed here till she could do ether of those but snapped out of it when she said that about the help that caused her to frown a bit. "Yes you can stay here and no your not gonna help around the castle, and your a guest so your not doing any that if I'm the host." Twilight said.

Eclipse smiled while looking at twilight as well thanking her for the place to stay, which she meet Twilight's number one assistant as well brother/son to twilight and brother to Nyx, Eclipse was a bit nervous about the baby dragon because even though his body was that of a baby but his mind on the other hoof was that of a adult but that's not it, he was a dragon so her memory spell will fail instantly for him so she had to be careful around him, she even got to meet and greet Nyx, she felt sad for the poor filly past about how she meet her Daughter nyx to the point where celestia took her to be check for any memoires of nightmare moon along all the other things that happened to the filly and it just made Eclipse want to snatch the filly up and give her a hug while telling her everything is going to be alright but she didn't because she might scare the filly.

At some point just like all good things, they have to end so the party ended with everything was cleaned up as well leaving to go back to there homes while twilight's friends stayed so they can have dinner together that spike made, which Eclipse had praised him for his talent for cooking before everypony needed to leave for their homes.

Twilight had told spike to show Eclipse to her room to stay at, she thanked him before trotting inside the room so she can take her saddlebags off and set them near her bed she was given for her room before making her way around to room for the bathroom so she could shower a bit while using her magic to float her own bath supplies with her while at the same time undoing her necklace first before setting it down on the nightstand so she can start on her earrings because she will not wear them while showering or sleeping but before she can even focus on her earrings she felt like somepony was watching her.

Eclipse looked around before seeing a familiar black coat with a purple mane filly staring at her with pure confusion and shock on her face with wide eyes and small wings flared as well from the shock at what she is seeing. While Eclipse stood there with her own wings flared with wide eyes at well as she started at the nyx because of wings appearing after the necklace was removed.

I know what I said about my hand but It healed enough for me to type but got to take more breaks so it can rest because it hurts when I'm using it but so far I can make this work, also a little update about the next chapter will take some time due to trying to get a job so my next chapter may take sometime also I know about the fact I skipped the talk speech for applejack and some of the other main six, applejack I'm trying to get her speech down and fluttershy I am getting there but maybe in the next few chapters I might be able to do the speech patterns and when I do get there speech down I will come back and edit the other two chapters.

Also I won't be able to do any more chapters for the next few weeks thanks to some rolling storms coming by.
