Swan Song charged through Cantorlot.She took breaths as she ran away from the only place she'd ever known. She heard the words of her hero piercing her mind."You have made an awful desicion for my empire and now you must leave!!."

She shook off the tears gleaming in her eyes. The hypnotizing voice in the back of her mind murmured to her telling her where to go and what to do. She at least had an idea of where she was going. She wanted to scream. She looked behind her to see if anyone was chasing her. No one. She slowed to a trot. Then her queen's voice echoed through the streets,"If any pony sees a young unicorn mare by the name of Swan Song,Bring her here immediately. She needs to be arrested."

She came to the realization she couldn't run through the city streets. She saw an old building to her right and swung around towards it. She slammed the door behind her and saw a dark abandoned building. The ponies outside shouted and hooves clipped on the floor.It took her a moment to realize where she was. The old archives. The queens had forbidden anypony to come in this section of the library. She noticed a picture of two alicorns defeating a creature."Cool." She murmured to herself,"This is where Nightmare Moon and Solar Flare fought off the evil Celestia and Luna."

There was a hole in the wall of the library. She stumbled out as Her Majesty's voice screeched,"IF YOU FIND HER,KILL HER!!!!"

She searched the ruins,stumbling this way and that. Several ruined pictures of glass. There was one of Nightmare Moon being blasted. Who would do such an awful thing, she wondered. She didn't pay attention to it as she trudged on. She wandered until she found herself at the edge of the Everfree Forest. According to history the forest had devoured a small village named Ponyville shortly after Celestia and Luna's downfall. A spark went off in her brain. She wondered if the small voice had set it off. The realization gripped her. The Rebels They had made their home in there. She gritted her teeth and charged in. She wandered through the forest,jumping at every sound. She banged into trees and shrieked at animals. And she hadn't seen a single flying feather rebel. She ran through all the information the armies had gathered about the revolt. The leader ruled in the Everfree Forest. duh. She knew the rebellion had captains,admirals,and generals. They were looking for the evil "Elements of Harmony". They believed Nightmare Moon and Solar Flare's regin needed to be stopped. No one knew what the leader looked like. There were many of them. The one pony in the rebellion she knew was the infamous,Daylight Shift. Ponies from weak backgrounds fled to the rebellion all the time. All these things ran through her brain as she passed trees,going deeper into the woods. She kept walking and suddenly there was a noise. She listened harder. CREAK She had a split second to wonder before the trees leaned down and grabbed her. She screeched. Her vision clouded. The last time she saw were a bunch of forms streaked with mud. Ah she thought before she blacked out.
