Kevin wakes up to a sleeping three inch pony snoring on his nose. "Morning Pinkie." He says quietly as he lifts her up and places her in his shirt pocket. "You can continue sleeping while I check my email." He rubs the top of the pink pony's head and somehow gets her to purr. "I didn't even know she could do that."

"Okay lets see." The pet owner said as he opened his email. "Spam, spam, spam, advertisement for canned spam." Kevin scrolled down the page until a familiar name pop on screen. "Oh. I wonder what Jeff has been up too." He opened the letter and read.

Hey dude! I heard you got one of those new mlp pet things. I got myself one as well, and to cut to the chase I was wondering if you wanted our little ponies play together. I will be in the park at 11:30 A.M. She loves to watch the squirrels gather nuts. See you later, or not. Your choice. Jeff.

P.S. As a word of advice. Don't bring a bag of mixed nuts to the park. I still have the scars on my palms.

"I guess that could be fun." Kevin heard a small yawn. "Morning Pinkie. I got something to ask you."

Pinkie ruffled her mane and rubbed her eyes. "What is it Kevin?"

"We got an invite to a play date-"

"CAN WE GO!? CAN WE GO!? CAN WE GO!?" Pinkie yelled in excitement. Jumping up and grabbing onto her owner's nose. "Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssseeeeeee!"

Kevin laughed, "That was what I was going to ask you, but it seems you want to go so we need to get ready." Pinkie nodded and Kevin left her at her play house and went to his room to change clothes and take a quick shower. When he came out with a solid dark blue t shirt and blue jeans. "I got something for you Pinkie."

"Oh oh! What is it?" Kevin opened his hand to show a light blue bow with yellow highlights. "What is that for?"

"I was wanting to put it in your mane. I thought it would be cute. I want you to look your best. Not that you aren't cute without it." He rubbed pinkies cheek with his pointer finger which she happily nuzzled against.

"Okay. You can put it in my mane." Pinkie was picked up and her owner carefully clip it onto the back of her head and she ran into her play house and looked at her tiny mirror. "Looking good." She laughs. "Thanks Kevin!"

"You're welcome Pinkie. Let's get going." Kevin grabbed Pinkie and his keys and headed to the car. "The park is a little ways away. It will take about 20 minutes to get there." Pinkie nodded and watched the landscapes go by as Kevin drives.

A little while later they make it to the park and Kevin looks around for his buddy.

"Hey you actually showed up." Jeff said as he is sitting on a bench. "Come over here dude. I want to see your pony."

Kevin walked over to the bench and sat down. "What kind of pony did you get?"

Jeff carefully pulled a tiny yellow pony from his pocket. "Say hi Fluttershy."

The shy pegasus squeaked. "I-I-I'm F-Fluttershy..." She whispered.

"Nice to meet you Fluttershy. This is Pinkie Pie." Kevin grabs Pinkie and places her next to Fluttershy. The two of them look at each other then Fluttershy nuzzles Pinkie's cheek. The two of them purr. "What's going on?"

"It is a thing two ponies do to establish friendship. Like how dogs smell each others back sides." Jeff explained. "It doesn't always happen though, some ponies don't get along well." Jeff pets Fluttershy's back. "These ponies are just too adorable."

"Yeah. No doubt about it." Kevin nodded. "So your pony likes to watch the animals?"

"Yep. If we aren't here we are probably watching animal planet at home." Both owners watch their ponies play around. Pinkie would chase Fluttershy as she would fly around. They played hide and seek in the tall grass. Fluttershy even got a squirrel to lay down so she could rub it's belly.

"She seems really close to her show counterpart." Kevin said.

"I would say the same about yours Kevin." Jeff replied. "It was a little odd at first but hey whoever made these ponies are a genius. I love my little pony."

"The show or the pets?" Kevin Asked.

Jeff smiled. "Yes."

After about an hour Kevin leaves with Pinkie back to their home where they find two people in suits waiting at his door.

"Stay in my pocket Pinkie. This could be trouble." Pinkie did as she was told and curled up in the bottom of his pocket. Kevin exited his car as one of them smiled and walked towards him.

"Hello sir. You wouldn't happen to be Kevin (Last Name), would you?" The guy with a name tag saying Sean asked.

"Yes what can I help you with?"

"We are from the company that made your pony. We were wondering if you have been enjoying you pet pony. If there are any troubles we could have it replaced with a copy or a different pony altogether." Sean smiled.

Kevin didn't like how they were talking about Pinkie like she was a product. "For your information. I am enjoying my time with my friend and she doesn't need replacing. I am happy and doing my best to take care of her. Now if you would kindly leave, I have work to do."

Sean kept up his smile. "Of course sir. We will get out of your hair now, But if you have any problems, contact us and we will help the best we can." They left in their van which for a second I could see little cages with a few ponies inside. "Poor little guys..." The van left and kelvin headed inside and sat on the couch.

Pinkie crawled out of his pocket and lied against her owner's chest. "Thank you for not sending me away. Most ponies back at the lab were taken back then shipped off a little latter..." The pinkie pony's mane fell flat.

Kevin tried to comfort her with some pets. "I wouldn't dream of getting rid of you. You are too amazing to get rid of.

"Really?"

"Yeah. You are fun, cute, and can somehow cook which I still haven't figured out how you did that yet." Kevin smiled. "You are my friend. I wouldn't want my friend disappearing to who knows what."

Pinkie's hair puffed up a little bit and she nuzzled his chest, purring. "Love you Kevin."

"Love you too Pinkie."
