A future of rainbows

                   Rainbowdash, Streak, and Fluttershy were flying to the Dash house, Fluttershy was on Rainbow Streak due to the fact that Rainbow liked to at least go medium speed or faster when flying and Fluttershy was not a fast flyer. Their flight was quiet, too quiet. So Streak decided to break the silence. "So how was school Dash?" Asked Streak. There was no response. Rainbow dash was to busy in her own little world.

"Oh Rainbow! Please! Let me be your marefriend!"Scootaloo cooed in Rainbow's arms. If you insist. "You know, ever since I met you today".... She looked in Scootaloo's big beautiful eyes and continued I knew we were meant to be together." She said. Oh Rainbow, kiss me!" she cooed. Rainbow leaned in for the kiss.... Until she was interrupted by a familiar voice of a stallion coming out of the filly's mouth." Rainbow! Rainbow!" Called the voice.

        "Huh?" Rainbow was snapped out of her day dream.

   I asked how was your first day of school. He said with a bit of confusion and concern for her well being. Rainbow was about to respond, until she felt something soft in her hands.

"What the.... Where the heck did this come from!?" Rainbow questioned surprised as of why a cloud was in her hands.

                "Uh.. I was hoping you knew the answer to that one." Streak said with confusing in his voice.

              "Um. Yeah. Fluttershy intervened. You dipped it in your arms and you were talking to it, then...you tried to kiss it... Fluttershy said as she blushes in embarrassment from her last statement. Rainbow's face turned completely red, her eyes shrunk to the size of ants, and her mouth was left wide open.

       "Oh, I think I know what this is. Streak said with a sly smile as he continued. So who's the lucky colt? Rainbow looked away and then turned to face him with a nervous smile, and chuckle nervously. Streak's smile disappeared. "Oh. He cleared his throat and continued. So it was a filly wasn't it?" He asked calmly. Rainbow nodded her head slowly for this wasn't the first time that subject was brought up usually Firefly would pass it off as a phase and told her it was wrong ever time it was brought up to her attention, as for Streak he would always tell her that God said love everyone, and that he would love her no matter what. Fluttershy also knew about Rainbow being into fillies from flight camp. "So does this filly have a name?" He smiled sincerely.

       " Yeah. her name is..... her name is Scootaloo. She said with a blush on her face her name made her heart beat fast probably faster than she could fly maybe. Fluttershy gasped.

       "I had a feeling you like her, you guys like almost the same things, but I never knew you like,like her." She said in surprise.

     "That's great but don't tell your mother, you know what she would say if she knew." he warned sternly but not mean.

           "yes sir!" said Rainbow.

At the Dash house.

     Thirty minutes after they arrived Fluttershy was already picked up by her father. "Thank you for picking up my daughter Streak." He said.

         "No problem!" said Streak. Fluttershy got on her father's back and they were off. "Remember Rainbow not a word about that crush don't even show your emotions about her if your going to tell your mother about meeting her." He reminded her."

      "I know Dad." she groaned.

            "Hey I'm just making sure you didn't forget." He said to his offense.

Later

      After Rainbow took a bath two hours after her mother got home from work, she and her parents sat at the dining table eating smashed potatoes with gravy, and cabbage. Everything was going well, until Streak saw something that almost made him choke on his cabbage. Rainbow was making a replica of Scootaloo's face with her food, and she didn't even know it. To save them for a horrible fate he had to eat some of it just so his wife wouldn't see.

    " Hey can I have some." He asked. Just before he got an answer, took a big scoop of Rainbow's plate. Rainbow was snapped out of her trance yet again. When she saw what she was doing, her eyes almost popped out. Her mother didn't notice because she was to busy giving her husband the stink eye.

     "Why didn't you just ask for more if you wanted some!?" she asked frustrated. Streak just shrugged and gave her a nervous smile. Firefly just sighed at her husband, while Rainbow finished her food.

     "I'm heading to bed early night guys. "She pretended to yawn.

      " Night Rainbow." They said in union. Rainbow went straight to her room and went straight to bed. That was a close one! Thank you Dad! She thought. Soon she fell into a peaceful sleep.
