A future of rainbows

             Rainbow and streak had just arrived at the school house and Rainbow was pretty happy that she won the race. "Yes!" "I won Dad!" Dash cheers.

     "Well  only because I gave you a head start!" He said in denial. "Yeah! Yeah! Sure."

But I was still the victor!" Said Rainbow proudly.

      "Well sport I gotta go!" "Duty calls!" Said streak. Rainbow couldn't help but laugh at that remark.

     "Duty." She giggles. Streak just rolled his eyes and chuckles at his daughter's immaturity.

           "Well Rainbow make sure you learn something and,most importantly Have.... Fun!" He told her. "Bye sweetie." He said as he flew off.

           Rainbow sighs this is it, my new school for the year, I guess I might as well try make some friends, but first let's find Flutters! She thought to herself.

          Rainbow sees Fluttershy underneath a tree getting her hair braided by a white unicorn with  curly purple hair.

            Rainbow dash walks up to them. "Hey Flutters." She said casually.

      "Oh... Um hi Rainbow." Greeted the the shy  pegasus filly.

       "Oh so this is the Pegasus Rainbow Dash you would always speak of." She said with enthusiasm. "Oh how rude of me!" "Let me introduce myself!" My name is Rarity!" "But if you want darling you can call me Rare for short, all my friends do." She said.

   "Whoa! We just met and we're already friends!?" Rainbow questioned.

     "Why of course, a friend of Fluttershy is a friend of mine." She insisted. Since class is about to start in a few moment (2 minutes) I'll introduce you to the rest of the girls at lunch." Said Rarity.

         "There are more?" She asked. "Um... Yes. You have, Applejack, pinkiepie, sweetiebelle, and Scootaloo." Fluttershy stated. Soon the girls were.interrupted by Rarity's little sister sweetiebelle.

       "Rarity?!" She called.

      "Yes sweetie, whatever is the matter?" Rarity asked concerned.

          "Have you seen Scootaloo?"She asked.

    "Why no I haven't."she replied. Soon Rainbow and the others heard a buzzing sound for a distance that seemed to be heading there way.

            "I guess that answers my question." Mumbled sweetie belle.

      Soon the pony in question had soon arrived. "Yes I made it, and with only thirty seconds to spare!" Said the the Pegasus with the orange fur and a purple mane that was lighter than Rarity's as she puts her Scooter behind a bush near the school house.

          "It's about time you got here!!!" Yelled sweetie.

                 "Hey got here on time didn't I?" Scootaloo yelled back. "Still.... She said thinking of what else to say.

              "Still nothing!" Scootaloo interrupted. "I'm here now aren't I?"

      Once that was out of the way  Scootaloo then turned her attention to the Rainbow mane filly who was starring at her in a daze like she was in her own little world.

         "Uh are you okay?" Scoots asked confused on why she was staring at her like that. Rainbow was poped out of her daze by her voice.

      "What? Huh?" She said mumbling.

     "Uh I was asking if you were okay." Said Scootaloo.

       "Oh yeah I'm fine." Said Rainbow. "Sorry for staring." She apologizes.

          "It's ok I'd probably be like too if I met someone as me!"She smirked. Not only is she pretty but she has spunk , I like her....... WAIT DID I JUST SAY PRETTY!!!???? I JUST MET HER RAINBOW GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF!!! she thought. She was snapped back to reality when the bell rang.

        "Alright students time for class!" Said the teacher. Everypony went straight inside the building. Rainbow felt something grab her hand and looked to see what it was and saw scootaloo. "Come on!" She said. "You can sit behind me!" she said with excitement.

    Rainbow's face went red and steam was coming out of her ears. Her heart was beating fast, she wore a goofy smile as her legs ran by themselves to catch up with the filly.

Yep! I got it bad! Man and I just met her! she thought. Little did she know Scootaloo felt the same way, she didn't know why but she felt odd around the blue Pegasus, but the good type of odd.

Lunch

           It was a long boring day of math, science and,English. Rainbow thanked Celestia that being over.

    "Now that we're all here you ladies may introduce yourselves to Our new friends."Rarity said.

"Howdy!"I'm "Applejack." Said the earth pony with orange fur,blond mane and a brown hat. She had a southern accent. "And this little this little cutie here is my lil sister, Applebloom." She said pointing to the yellow earth pony with a red mane with a pink bow in it.

     "Howdy!" Applebloom said with welcoming smile.

         "I'M PINKIEPIE!!!!" Said the pink filly with a pink poofy hair that was slightly darker than her fur.

      "Well you already met me.... Said Rarity as she continues. "And my little sister but I don't think you got her name, well this little darling is sweetiebelle."  She said implying the little white unicorn with the pink and purple mane.

     "And the best for last!" Announced the orange Pegasus. Me! Scootaloo!"Glad to make your acquaintance." She said as she shook her hand.

Rainbow shook her hand and tried to play it cool.

      "No it was a pleasure meeting you." She said in a some what causal tone.

    Lunch was now over and they were back in their classroom for another three hours of boring learning until the end of the day.

Everypony was outside the school house waiting to be picked up and taken home. Fluttershy was going home with Rainbow so they had to wait for her Dad or Mom to arrive. The crusaders were sitting on the bench waiting for their parents or any other relatives to take them home. Soon Scootaloo heard her name get called so did the girls. Every one turned to see a filly in a black hoodie that was taller than all of them stand before the entrance of the School yard. The hood made it hard to see her face all you could see was her black mane sticking out. The older filly motioned her finger telling Scootaloo it was time to go.

      Rainbow didn't like the looks of that girl something about her scared Rainbow. Rainbow was worried about Scootaloo's safety until she spoke up.

     "Well that's my ride,bye guys!" Scoots said.

         "Bye Scootaloo!" Said the six fillies. Rainbow just remained quiet, watching the older filly like a gryphon. Scootaloo walked up to the hooded filly and smiled. Rainbow watched as the filly bought her hands towards Scootaloo, Rainbow was about to take action when.... She saw the filly put Scootaloo on her back just above her wings. Scootaloo accidentally pulled some of the hoodie up only to show her muzzle, Rainbow saw that the filly was smiling a little bit, her muzzle was brown along with her wings, and her tail and mane black. Rainbow then saw her fly off with Scootaloo on her back laughing and cheering. Rainbowdash walked up to girls to asked them a question.

      "Hey guys, who was that?" She asked.

  "Oh that was Scootaloo's Cousin, Ayshian (Ash•Shin)". Replied Pinkiepie.

     "Why was her face covered like that, like she didn't want anypony to see her face?" Rainbow questioned.

    "Well we heard from Scootaloo's parents that when Ayshian's parents got a new job in Manehattan when she was younger they left her with them until they returned from their trip, and she's just missing them a awful Lot."Said Applejack. "They left her their when Scootaloo was  five." Aj said sadly.

                 "Yeah, she doesn't get out much because of that." Replied Fluttershy.

         "She does often help us with crusades as we told you at lunch we crusade a lot to get our cutie marks." Sweetiebelle said.

      "Have you guys ever seen her face?" Asked Rainbow. Everypony nodded their heads.

       "She's really nice once you get to know her." Said Fluttershy.

      "And Funny!" Pinkiepie added.

          "She's  tough that's for sure!" Applejack included.

     "And rather decent. Rarity chimed in.

       Rainbow took their word for it, and then saw her Dad. "Come on Fluttershy, that's us!" Called out Rainbow.

    "Oh... Um coming." Studded Fluttershy.  Then they flew off to Rainbow's house.

Hmmm.... That Ayshian filly seems a bit off. I'm gonna have to keep an eye on her for Scootaloo's safety Rainbow thought herself. Rainbow couldn't wait to tell he parents about her first day of 4th grade in the new town.Maybe ponyville isn't so bad after all. I think I might stay.
