THE LAST ECLIPSES EP6

As the train takes off pan prop his stick in the Conner and pull out and old looking book it's the same book Whicker saw on the pedestal back in pan's cave

Whicker: What is that?

As he points to the book

Pan: This is the book of my people it tells all about how we came to the everfree and what life was like under the rule of princess Luna and what happened when the princess of the sun took away the moon from us!

Star: Don't you mean when princess Luna became Nightmare Moon and tried to cast us all into eternal night!?!

Pan: Wow you are dense if you believe that to be true!

Sage: But.It is.

Pan: Well I have the untainted truth right here in my hooves, and it's been passed down from stallion to colt, from mare to filly for over 1000 years and only when decreed by the great council of the night was anything put into it.

Star: Well were this great council now hmmm?

At this pan goes stony face and it gets quiet

Whicker:(in a whisper) You do remember that he's the last of his kind don't you?!

Pan: I need some air.

As he heads toward the back of the train  to the caboose

An hour or two passes by as everypony is doing their own thing Pastel is drawing Star is talking with Sage while Sage is just listing and Whicker is just sitting looking at pans book as he comes across something written he gets up and walks to the back of the train.

Whicker: Pan? Are you there ?

As he gets to the last car he can see pan outside watching the landscape fly by

Whicker: Pan, are you alright?

Pan: Yeah, it's just... You wouldn't understand.

Whicker: Is what is in this book is that how your people persevered history.

Pan: THAT BOOK is my people's history! I have not altered it in the slightest since it came to me!

Whicker: I wasn't trying to say you did.

Pan: Good.......Whicker Tell me something .

Whicker: Yes?

Pan: What is she like? The princess I mean?

Whicker: Who Luna?

Pan: Yeah the stories portray her as kind, but you all called her a Nightmare. Why is that?

Whicker: She was a Nightmare, but princess Twilight saved her.

Pan: Who?

Whicker: Princess Twilight, the princess of friendship and her council.

Pan: How many princesses are there?

Whicker: There are 4 princesses now; princess Celestia, princess Luna, princess Twilight, and princess Cadence the princess of love.

Pan: oo..OK

as pan and Whicker get down to talking the camera pans away from the train

The camera pans back as the train enters the station and all the ponies disembark

Whicker: Follow me I've been here a few times when I've made a delivery before this is the way to the castle.

As Whicker seems to take the lead a scowl come over Star's face but everypony follows

As they approach the castle a guard runs up

guard 1: state your business!

Pan:(in a commanding voice) I am pan everfree, the last child of the night here to see princess Luna and these are my companions.

Star: Humph...I'm Star and this is Sage we at least wish to see the royal library.

The guard gives the group an odd look and at this time, two other guards walk up

guard: stay here I'll deliver your message personnel and come back with a response.

Then with a look at the other guard

guard: Stay here with them.

Gaurd2/3:yes sir!!

As the guard goes into the castle the other two take point not prevent the group from leaving but not letting them into the castle either

Star: What was that pan!?!

Pan: What do you mean?

Star: What I mean is you just announcing yourself like that not waiting on the rest of us at all!

Pastel: It did seem to get the guards attention.

Whicker: I normally have to wait a bit before a guard can see me much less take down my name.

Looking perturbed Star turns to her brother

Star: And do you have anything to add?

Sage: no.

A moment later the same guard comes running back

Gaurd1: You two give these guests a royal escort into the grand throne room they are to be given full honors!

Gaurd2/3:yes sir?!?

As they turn guard 1 takes point while Gaurd2/3 take a position on either  side

Sage: so we'll just wait out here then?

guard: the princesses said everypony and they mean everypony

Sage:OK

Looking sheepish Sage fall back in line with everypony else

as they travel through the grand corridor they see beautiful glass murals depicting several victories's of good over evil and things of that nature when they finally come to the grand thrown room princess Celestia and Luna are sitting on the thrown

when pans eyes set on Luna a look of aww comes over him and he bows his head in reverence

Pan: Princess Luna...I'm.... I'm the last child of the night and...(and hearing his grandfather's voice)

pans grandfather:we are one with the night to help and protract her when it is needed

Pan: I wish to be your guard as you were for my people all those years ago

As a pained look comes over Luna

Luna: Can you forgive me for the suffering of your people by my hand?

A strange look comes over pan as he just now looks up to see tears forming in Lunas eyes

Pan: What....what Do you mean the only suffering was caused by her!!

As pan points his wing at Celestia. At that time, the guards start to move in

Celestia: No....let Him have his say.

With a look at Luna of pain and concern Celestia resume a hardened face on of just and fairness

Luna: In the beginning when I had gathered all the orphans of Equestria and formed the children of night it was for good, but when the Nightmare took over I....I....

With this Celestia puts a wing on Luna to comfort her. With a look of thanks, Luna picks back up

Luna: When I became Nightmare moon I did evil things, one of them was I sent the children of the night into exile by telling them to wait for my return after facing with my Sister for one..... Final time.

She looks away, not being able to bring herself to look at Celestia's gentle gaze.

Pan: But, that just can't be! The Children of the Night have written the truth of many generations, here's it's written in here!

He says as he pulls out the ancient text.

Celestia: I have found that the history only says what the person who writes it believes.

As pan and Luna go silent Celestia takes note of the rest of the group

Celestia: You their earth pony what is your name might I ask?

Pastel:Me? I'm Pastel Brush ma'am .

Celestia: Pastel Brush that armor you wear look to be one of the enchanted pieces I made back when the first E.U.P. guard was formed. I take it you came by it by accident

Pastel: It glowed so I picked it up

Celestia:strange that there would be any magic left in it after all this time or that it would react to you if it was glowing that use to mean a dark force was near but it was probably just a magical flare, letting some excess energies get released.

Pastel: I can't take it off,and I was hoping you could show me how to get it off so that I won't look like one of those stuck up rich ponies...... No offense you highnesses.

Celestia:oo yes come here my little pony .

As Pastel moves closer the vest starts to glow a dull gold and Luna looks at her sister

Luna: Is that you my sister?

Celestia:nooo...

Celestia says, her eyes scanning the room slowly, taking everything in.

At that moment, all four windows go black then break in words to reveal four shadows cloaked in darkness

A look of shock covers the room but as the last hoof hits the ground Luna appears her armor and sword then Celestia and her halberd as they defend against the two that faced them as the other two circle the group of ponies.one has a reddish horn and the other is an alicorn of shadow with glowing white eyes

Sombra: Come here!

As he starts to pull at Sage with a flow of magic as soon as this happen Star moves to take on Sombra

Star: You can't have him!

While this is happening the lights in the chamber start to flare and draw to Whicker's horn as he directs a flow of fire to Sombra. Sombra caught unaware lets Sage go then Sage teleports but it's imperfect and only takes him 10ft into the air right above Whicker and as he falls on Whicker it knocks them both out

Star is trying to overwhelm Sombra with shear force and appear to be a match for now

Pastel's armor full suit comes back and Pastel is trying to pull the sword out of the sheath but can't

Nightmare: You fool.

As she knocks Pastel on to the pile of ponies with her wings

Pan races to Luna to protect her

Nightmare: Get back here!

As she picks pan upon a flow of magic and slams him on the ground near the pile

At this point, the princess dispatch the two they were facing and Sombra throws Star to the ground atop pan

Nightmare: Sombra now, while she's weak!

As the two jump to Luna, Celestia rams her sister with her shoulder out of the  way. Luna falls a little bit away from Celestia as the two shadow falls into Celestia and she's a pile on the ground with her wings spread wide in a crest of feathers

Luna: Sister...Sister???

Celestia starts to get up slowly as shadow fills in around her

Celestia: I can't believe you gave up this power. All this power.

As she talks about power a look of horror falls over Luna

Celestia: Now...hahaha Now you will know nothing at all!

As she talks she turns into a pure shadow and when she is done talking her eye opens and is pure white. Luna jumps for the pile of ponies as Celestia raises her head and a pure ray of power cuts all the way through the castle and Luna and the little ponies are no more.
