As the camera Pans down from the clouds on to canterlot castle as a platens day and comes all the way down we are by and old country road looking up at the castle when all of a sudden a massive beam shoots through the castle and with that the day starts to darken a few seconds later a blue teleport flickers then a massive amount of energy pulls as the teleport appears dropping 5 ponies to the ground and as if carried by the wind Luna flies's forward and rolls to a heap on the ground

As the pile of ponies starts to stir Star looks up and finds Sage and pulls him into an embrace to comfort or for comfort can't tell Whicker and Pastel look pole waxed and as for Pan when finally gets up his eyes fall on Luna and he pulls himself from the pile to run over to her but when he makes it to her she is crying full-hearted sobs and her eyes look half mad with grief as she picks herself up she lets out all her rage fury and sorrow in a heart ranching scream into the sky.

Luna:(emotional scream)

when she is finally done the world goes quiet and no pony says a word as she looks longing at the castle and in a whisper that everypony can hear

Luna:(in a whisper) Fate is cruel, my sister, but I will not wait for another 1000 winters to be with you again. I will save you as you saved me.

Looking sorrowful she turns away and starts walking down the road away from the castle, Pan standing there the entry time

Pan: What... What happens back there my princess what was that.That monster

Luna:(in a sharp voice) That was no monster! (now in a softer) That was me over 1000 years ago. That ...that Shadow, that nightmare that took over my sister, that was what was left over after my defeat as nightmare moon. Where it has been hidden these 11 years I do not know, and the other was the shadow of one who ruled in darkness. To his old kingdom, we must go if we want any chance to bring back my sister and destroy those shadows.

Having heard all of this Pan sets out with Luna with no hesitation during all this the moon is slowly coming up

Star watching all this

Star:come on Sage

Sage:what why we have to go back to ponyville sis, we have to get mom and dad

Star:(in a whisper)if you don't get a move, filly, I'll kick you right in the hindquarters understood? Now move!

Sage: No I'm going back to mom and dad

Star:look Luna just saved all of us and....

Luna:(in a loud commanding voice)no rainbow don't

At that moment, all we see is a streak of rainbow heading at full speed to the castle and at that moment the moon completely blocks the sun and a sphere of energy from the moon hit the rainbow and it falls to the ground in a violent display of power

(all together)

(Whicker:what just happen

Sage:what was that

Star:what happen to rainbow we have to help her

Pastel:shouldn't we fighter out what in the world of Equestria is going on before we go anywhere)

Luna:no she was impulsive and ran into a power that I can't even face

At this Pan looks ready to go anywhere Luna wants him the other just look grim

Star:we have to. We have to go back to ponyville Luna

Sage:(looking shocked at the words coming out of his sister's mouth)she's right

Whicker and Pastel together(

Whicker:I have to check on something too

Pastel:I have to see my family )

Luna:NO...no That we be the first place she will go. It is this closest set of power to canterlot trust me I know all too well what she's going though we must head north and ride the magical barrier on the crystals kingdom we can not let her have it

looking up one more time at canterlot with a tear in her eye

Luna:(in a whisper) I will save you, my sister

As she turns away and starts walking Pan turns with her but the other hesitate but fall in line slowly

As silent group heads on down the road, the day gets to its darkest and after bout 2 hours

Star:Luna can't you do something with the moon?

Luna: it is out of my control...she Is getting stronger I can feel it

Whicker:what do you mean by stronger?

Luna:harmony is gone from the world and fate blows on the wind when the moon engulfs the sun the days of old will come.......my Old friend said that to me and looking back I thought he meant nightmare moon I thought he meant me.... But before me, my, sister tame this land fate really blow on the wind and chaos ruled and I now know who  starswurld meant...

As they interrupt Luna

Star/Sage/Pan:you knew starswurld the bearded

With star and Sage looking at Pan in an odd way

Pan:(in a whisper)all because I don't know who this rainbow mare is they think IM an idiot

Luna:he was a dear friend and a great unicorn but in the end, he was too mortal and time stole him from this world

Looking sadden by the past or maybe the future Luna walks on

and all walk in silence yet again feeling the heavy night Whicker moves up to Pan

Whicker:(in a whisper)Pan...

Pan:(in a whisper)yah

Whicker:what happen back there in the castle I mean

Pan:you saw didn't you

Whicker:no actual I didn't I had somepony land on me but what I did see was shadows and I think I recognized one of them

Pan: Sombra

Whicker:yes but how did you know

Pan:(with an annoyed look and sound in his voice)why to act so suspired

Whicker:I didn't mean anything like that umm is he in your book

Pan looking  troubled and looking back at his satchel with his book in it

Pan:yeah  but I don't know how much good it will do it seems to be more half truths than anything else

Whicker: what do you mean that your people's history

Pan: yes but were they liars as well

Looking dismayed by what he had just said Pan walked an ill bit faster and left Whicker behind

Star:what's his problem

Whicker not noticing Star walk up is startled by her sudden words

Whicker :whoa o nothing Hess just haveing a hard time

Star:well he needs to get over it all our families might be taken by now and Hess mopping because princess Luna won't gives him the time of day

Whicker:it's not like that

Sage coming up from the rear

Sage:(in a somewhat strong voice)you know that's not true sis

Star:what did you say

Sage:(back to normal)I. Mean.. Were all an ill bit on edge sis cut him some slack

locking eyes Sage lowers his and falls back to Pastel and they start talking in a low voice

Some more time pass as the quiet group walks on and a darker darkness descends upon the land

As Luna walks off the path

Luna:this way we need to find some shelter before full night

as they head deeper into the woods a dark force starts up out of the trees and before anyone can react more than a horn glow

Pan:WAIT for its boundless and Moondance

As a boundless comes into the clearing then another one that is as peel as the moon with willow for a mane

Pan:Moondance this is Luna princess of the moon

And with that Moondance and boundless bow their heads in bow to equals but still looked weary

Luna:so my children kept the way

Pan:yes we did ....even To the end

with this the wolves run back into the woods and after some wood was gotten and some bedding made from long grass

Luna:Whicker can you light the fire

Whicker:umm no ma'am I can only borrow fire from some place else but I do have a match

Luna:that will have to do then now everypony get some sleep we have to be off early I mean to make it to the crystals empire in three days from now

As eveypony gets to settle down Whicker is reading Pans book and Pan is asleep as the darkness sets on the screen and black
