A lone being floated in the vast nothingness of space, smiling as he laid his eyes on the universe. Looking through it he spun the universe around like a globe. He stopped on one side of the universe and began zooming up to the famous planet, Gaia. Gaia, was the planet chosen by the tree itself to lead the universe into harmony. Watching, he began getting a closer look, smiling at what he saw, into a place known as the crystal empire. There he witnessed the birth of a new alicorn named, flurry heart. Seeing this, he began zooming out to take a look on the planet itself and checked other events. Nothing seemed out of place in the world, except.

He zoomed into one of Gaia’s oceans and looked at its many islands. In it he could see the famous pony, daring do, along with two griffons, heading straight towards a temple in the middle of the forest. Curiosity getting the best of him, he decided to take a peek inside. In it he saw the place was completely hollow with four columns in the middle that were too dark to see anything past them. For a ponies eyes atleast, good thing he was no pony. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. It was a statue of himself from scale to fur. He was very impressed by himself. But another statue crossed his eyes. The statue held a biped carrying a stick with a sack on his arm. The statue had literal clothes on, meaning someone came in here and put clothing on the statue, also meaning the statue was naked underneath. The shirt was a light brown color with a pointed collar of the button-up style with two front pockets. It was also wearing light brown shorts that ended under the knees. He recognized this clothing from someone he hadn't seen since. The person clicked in his mind.

“After all this time, old friend, you show yourself on my universe.” He thought, bringing a smile to his scaly face. He finally knew what this temple was.

Millions of years ago, for fun, a being older than himself placed temples across the multiverse to see if the intelligent lifeforms would find it. Each time it did it either meant great things, or bad, would happen to the world. Whether it was a huge storm to small things like a pony losing checkers to a bird. A wildcard he’d heard him call it. Hearing a bird scream above the temple he made his escape from the temple, assuming daring do was near. Popping up in space he began resuming back to looking at the universe like a globe.

"Looks like things are about to change in my universe. Hopefully not to much, though. I like this place.” He thought. Feeling another presence behind he turned around to see who.

"Father." He said.

"Grand Master Zeon!" He smiled, turning towards him.

"What brings you to my side of the void?" He asked, raising a suspicious eyebrow.

"Just visiting. How have things been in your universe?" Zeon replied with a smile, moving next to the globe.

"Princess Cadance and Shining Armor just had their baby."

"Wonderful! Seems your universe is just a couple months behind mine." Grand Master added.

"Hows the rest of the world?" He asked. His father then duplicated the planet and zoomed into to different locations in real time. Each one showed the major races of the world, from the dragons to the griffons.

"The Griffons are celebrating, seems like a unique holiday exists here. The minotaurs have developed great advancements to their medicine and magic. and the dragonlord looks to be heading to retirement soon." He said.

"Interesting. Well, looks like everything's under control here. I came to ask if you'd show for the meeting tomorrow." Zeon asked, father then shook his head.

"You know I'm retired, Zeon."

"I know father, it's just, being Grand master is proving harder than I thought. I... I just need your help for a few things."

"Just a few things?" Father questioned.

"Just a few things, I promise."

"Hmm, fine. But only a few things." Father said, which enough to make zeon happy.

"Thank you, father. it won't be too much, I promise.

"Thanks for visiting, son." Father said.

"You're welcome, dad." He said, spreading his wings, walking towards where he came.

"oh, and you will not believe who's in my universe."

"Who?" he said, preparing to fly off.

"Looks like the Chaos god himself has finally returned."

"What! He's back! Where!" He yelled, heading back towards the globe.

"One of his temples." He replied.

Father, this is wonderful news! I have to talk to him." He said with excitement.

"Um, I don't think that's a good idea, son. Last time you and him talked, it wasn't on friendly terms."

"I'm sure he's gotten over that. We have to find him if we want any chance of finding his location." He said as he started channeling magic through his antlers."

Before he could ask, who, realization struck him. "You mean-"

"Yes Him."

"Alright. I'll let you enter my universe. i'm coming to, though." He said as he spread his scaly wings.

"yes, of course. If he did hold a grudge on me, he might talk to you instead."

" oh, I hope our interference won't change anything to greatly."

" one god in my universe was enough, but us?"

"We'll have to be quick." He said.

"Ready?"

"Ready."

"alright, hopefully we'll be close to him and outside of equestria." He said, channeling his magic as they moved into the universe. Leaving behind nothing but a puff of smoke.

Fluttershy's cottage

"Thanks for the tea and cookies, sweet fluttershy. This batch was definitely better than the last one." He yelled from the living room, taking another sip. Before he could set the cup down he felt a disturbance in the magic. Not just one, but three. He then accidently dropped his tea on the floor. He then shook uncontrollably then stopped as soon as fluttershy entered the room.

"Are you alright?" Fluttershy said, hearing the cup shatter on the wood floor.

"Yes. Yes. Everything is fine! sorry for the cup, fluttershy, but I have to go." He said, teleporting to the door.

"Is something wrong?" Fluttershy asked.

"Oh, it's nothing. Something fun just popped into our universe." He said, leaving through the door.

"What?" Fluttershy asked. Suddenly everything in her house started to shake. She could hear the animals taking cover outside.

"Oh no, an earthquake!" she quietly yelled, before taking cover behind the couch. Fluttershy then heard what sounded like a large train hit her home and cautiously looked up above her couch. As soon as she did the shaking stopped and so did the sound, except two things were on her floor, unconscious . Upon further inspection, she quickly realized they were dragons, and ran. Only to turn back when she realized what else it was. The two creatures on the floor were half dragon, and half deer. All of her fear vanished when she noticed their condition and ran for her medical kit upstairs. Both creatures started moving, and opened their eyes, then started coughing. Recovering they then looked around. Both of them recognized this place.

"Well, this is just perfect. Not only are we not near him, we're in the element of kindness's home in equestria!" the youngest one yelled.

"Relax. It look's like she's not home, maybe we got-" He replied, turning around to see fluttershy, eyes the size of pins, dropping her medical kit on the floor.

"-Lucky."

Daring do wouldn't say this in her book. But she was starting to regret entering the island in the first place. She'd been told not to go here by half the ponies she knew but went anyway all for a supposed treasure in a temple that may or not exist. But hey, if she found the lost golden city of neighdorado, then she could find a temple, right? Too bad it was mating season for the Giant toad population on the island. She could hear a massive knot of toads in the distance.

Combined with their weird screams they do when threatened they become really annoying after a while. With a sound of a toad close bye, she and her griffin companions did the smart thing.Hide in the bushes.Looking through the leaves, she watched the longest one she’d ever seen run by. Yes run by. For these toad’s their bodies were extended so far that leaping would be impossible for them now. Though, she hated those 20 ft tall monstrosities, they were technically endangered. Which meant they were protected under equestrian law so she couldn't harm one. Good thing she didn't want to go near one. It's said their slime causes rashes when touched.

“What kind of a pony would build a temple in the middle of a jungle filled with the most dangerous animals on the planet?” She yelled.

"The kind that doesn't want to be disturbed." The Ebony griffin answered, with a deep voice. Cutting through the brush with a machete.

"Coming here was a mistake. I'd rather be back on the boat fighting a giant squid." A dark blue griffin added.

"We should be seeing the temple in just a while. Abraham, how far did your map makers say they saw the temple?" daring asked.

"The middle of the island." Abraham answered.

Ulysses was a ebony griffon that had a raven face and the body of a lion who was packed with muscle. He had heard of the island by his younger brother, abraham, who had a normal body structure. He was also a hired security that ,by law, is supposed to protect daring do from any local wildlife. His younger brother, Abraham, is the captain of an explorer ship that travelled the ocean with a crew of wannabe pirates. When they found the island they made landfall and began marking the island for safe travel. Unfortunately, the wildlife stopped them from doing anything big. And because the giant condors on the island were all over the place, map makers were only able to sketch half of the island.

30 minutes later doing nothing but cutting grass , she and the griffons eventually walked right off a cliff side on accident. Quickly recovering using their wings she scanned the area. She stopped and used her binoculars when she thought she saw what looked like the top of a building barely above the treeline. Seeing what was indeed a building she couldn't help but smile.

"This way!" She said, smiling to herself she flew all the way to the building. Only to completely forget about the giant condors that rule the skies here. Hearing it's loud screech, made daring's heart skip a beat. The two griffons pulled out their machete's and prepared to defend daring do.Aiming for the talons, they prepared to stab it's legs. Only for the machetes to clatter on the talon like it was metal. Daring do went down to the treeline for cover and noticed a huge nest on of the branches. As she got closer she could hear birds chirping and immediately realized it was just protecting it's young. Flying back up towards the griffons, she yelled at them as they were preparing to go for it's wings.

"Don't! It's just protecting it's young." She screamed. The griffons took notice and looked towards the treeline, seeing the nest and it's five young.

"Run. Towards the temple." Abraham commanded. hearing the bird's talons open up behind her she made a beeline towards the building, flying as fast as possible. When they were directly above the building they flew down quickly, too quickly. Turns out the temple's ceiling was weaker than expected, as they burst right through it. Landing very hard on the floor.all three of them, Breathing a sigh of relief, stayed on the floor, taking a break.

“This book better be a bestseller.” She said, wiping the sweat off her forehead.

"This trip would've been easier if you were born a unicorn." Ulysses calmly said, getting back up, wiping the dust and fragments off him.

“Yeah, but where's the fun in magic?” Daring do said.

“Teleporting away from an angry mother bird would be nice.” Ulysses replied, hearing the condor screech loudly above the temple. Ulysses honed in on the giant bird's flapping wings and noticed it was likely circling the temple.

“The mother knows we're here. Looks like we're trapped until it heads back to her nest.” Ulysses said.

“Well, anything to pass the time. I left my cards on the ship.” Abraham said, lighting up a lantern. Using the lantern to her advantage, daring do could see the entire place. The walls were filled with pictures and writing of unknown origin. And the light from the outside hole only helped light up the bioluminescent plants that were growing on the floor. They each silently looked in awe at the place, admiring every nook and cranny.

“Whoever built it sure knew how to make it look nice.” Abraham said, admiring the place.

“They drew pictures of every species on the island.” Daring do pointed out, examining all the drawings. She saw paintings of turtles, alligators, snakes, toads, and birds. But one painting kept showing up. A lone creature standing above all else Looking down at a blue and green circle on the wall. The features of this creature were familiar but on the wrong species. The entire upper half was a white dragon with beautiful scales that lit up in color. The creature had large antlers that had every color on it and a narrow snout that looked more deer like than dragon. The whiskers on its nose were like that of a catfish. On the side of its body were folded up dragon wings that looked like it'd 12 feet long. But the bottom half, which was the belly and legs, were brown in color and completely covered in fur. She recognized the bottom half belonged to a deer.

“What are you.” Daring do thought, trying to remember what species it could be.

“Look at this.” Ulysses said, his deep voice echoing through the building.

“What is it?” Daring do asked. Ulysses pointed with his claw at the two large statues. She recognized the deer dragon from the painting but the other one was completely different. Instead of another deer dragon. It was a strange biped that looked like it was wearing clothes like that of a… Boy Scout , but the clothes weren't even a part of the statue. They were put on the statue. One arm was raised high in the air, holding a stick that had a sack in the end. And the other arm looked like it was ready to shake someone's hand.

“That's one strange looking Minotaur.” Abraham said, walking up to the statue.

“These clothes.” Ulysses said, feeling the fabric. “They have a modern design.” He said, turning to daring with a glare. “You gonna tell me who put clothes on a naked bronze statue, daring?”

“Like, I would know the answer.” Daring replied. Ulysses kept up his glare. “Hey, I don't look at me like that"

“This is the last time I trust a pegasus.” He growled. Daring do heard and proceeded to get into an argument.

While daring do and Ulysses were arguing, Abraham walked up to the statue and looked at it.
He looked at the hand and recognized the form of a handshake. This was the griffon handshake. With nothing better to do, Abraham decided to shake hands with it. Reaching for it with his hand, he felt a strange feeling like he was suppose shake it. Yet the closer he got the more addicting it was. And so he shook hands with a statue. When nothing happened for the next 2 seconds he felt disappointed.

“Well that was dumb.” He thought. The hand then suddenly turned blue and closed, keeping hold of Abraham's claw. Abraham tried to pull his hand out,but it's hold kept tightening each time he'd try.

“Abraham, stop playing with the statue!”

“It won't let go!” Abraham shouted, trying to remove his hand with the other.

“Help!” Daring and Ulysses came to his rescue. Unsure of how to help. Suddenly the whole temple began to shake uncontrollably. Columns were beginning to fall. The birds outside began to fly away in panic. The water started floating and the ground kept shaking. The statue of the deer dragon fell to pieces but the bronze statue held up. As quickly as it started, it ended. The statue was no longer bronze and instead was blue. The hand then let go, making Abraham fall to the floor. Looking back up at the statue they saw it’s eyes were open and it was… taking a photo of them with a goofy smile. He then spoke with a clear teenage voice.

"Ha, looks like you guys fell straight into my trap card." He smiled.

After seeing the statue change color and come alive, they were very scared, for the first few seconds at least. The Griffins and daring do were prepared for a fight and were ready to handle anything he threw at them. They pulled out their weapons when they saw him pull something out of his front pocket. Only for him to throw a card at them. They looked at the card and recognized a jack with the words, Mirror force, written with a highlighter. The next few seconds was awkward silence and a look of disappointment on his face.

“Huh. Well, that didn't work as well as I planned.” He said, snapping his fingers, turning the card into a dove.
