"It seems like he has a broken wing, it will heal up if he spends some time in his bed" said the doctor, "Well kid, seems like you will be stuck in bed for a while, my name is Rainbow Dash!" "Well, my name is Liberty Spike.". Rainbow dash stayed with the colt for most of the time Liberty spent recovering. Most days were the same thing, Liberty and Rainbow exchanging stories about their stunts, until one day, the door opened, and it wasnt the doctor, it was mare with a light blue body and a yellow mane, and the most peculiar eyes.

"I heard somepony is down! So i brought you some muffins!" said the kind mare"Who are you?" asked Liberty, "You can call me Ms. Hooves!"  "Okay Ms. Hooves, thank you!"said Liberty "I hope you get better soon!" said Ms. Hooves, than she left. "Who was that?" asked Liberty "Oh, she is Derpy Hooves, she is the mailpony." said Rainbow Dash.

Once Liberty had recovered, he noticed that Pandora and Sharkfin were right outside the hospital waiting for him "So how did you get by?"asked Liberty "We just slept on benches, picked through trash, not much" said the other two colts "I feel bad for you two, a warm bed, three meals a day, it was the life!" said Liberty "Aw you are so lucky!" said Pandora

While they were walking around, Derpy flew along "Hey Mr. Liberty!" said the mare, "I have mail for you!", Ms. Hooves gives Liberty the letter "Maybe my parents got my letter!" said Liberty, then he opens and reads the letter, "My parents dont want me back" than Liberty begins to cry "Hey dont feel bad, You can stay with me!" says Derpy. Than Liberty looks at the mare, and throws himself into hugging Ms. Hooves, crying.
