Ch.4 Remembering, and Learning

Liberty went home with Ms. Hooves. When they got to the house, it was a pretty nice home! It had all the necesitied and more! "How did you get enough money to buy all this stuff being a mailpony?" asked Liberty, "well, i dont have anypony to buy things for, until now ive been quite lonley..." Ms. Hooves paused for a second, than started crying "Hey, dont worry, now you've got me, and ive got you!" said Liberty "Thanks, i needed somepony to cheer me up, and i guess you are just that pony!"

They went onto a hill, and just looked at the clouds, telling personal stories, laughing, crying and playing around! "Hey, wanna fly back home?" asked Derpy "Well, i kinda.... erm, cant fly." said Liberty, "Well dont worry, i will just fly you home!" said Derpy.

On the way home, Liberty felt the breeze on his wings, and remembered something, his parents trying to teach him how to fly "Either your going to fly, or your not going to be alowed to see your friends ever again" said Libertys father "Im trying as hard as i can dad!" said the young colt, "Well if you were trying hard you would already have gotten it down, now quit talking and start flying!" "You dont realy love me!" said liberty.

Liberty tried to disregard this on Derpys back, not noticing the tears rolling down his face, but these were both tears of joy and sadness, so he tried to get over it and enjoy the flight. Not knowing the mechanics of flight, he opened his wings, and zoomed off Ms. Hooves back, and out of fear he flapped his wings, as if to fight somepony, until he noticed he was flying.

When they got home, they had somepony waiting for them at the door, it was the purple maned pegasis, Scootaloo. "Hey Liberty, I heard that you were going to be living with... her..." said Scootaloo, than Derpy started crying, and ran into the house, "Hey! Dont be mean to Ms. Hooves again! She may not be perfect, but nopony is! How about you try and name somepony who is perfect!?!" said Liberty angrily "Im sorry, its just, we all shun her for being late on mail, and being clumsy" Scootaloo said in a meek tone "Do you know what you have done?!?! She has been lonely until i meet her! You idiot!" said the angry Liberty.

Scootaloo had been running away in fear by now. Liberty rushed in "Ms. Hoves? Where are you?". He followed the sounds of her crying, she was in a room he hadnt seen before, and asked "What is this?" Ms. Hooves was hugging a picture of a young filly "This used to be my sisters room, than there was an.... accident." said Ms. Hooves sadly "Oh, ive felt like one of my family members are dead, actualy two of them...
