Warriors of Harmony

A light appeared in the burned, destroyed remains of a forest, when the light faded, it revealed the six, ready for battle. Sonic sighed, "Man, couldn't Celestia just warp us somewhere nicer?" he asked, taking a look at his surroundings.

"Nah. If this world really is under control of Doom, then this is pretty standard." Spider-Man responded. "But then again, at least Latveria has some standard of cleanliness. This... This is just tragic."

Batman looked at Mega Man, "Rock." he got the robot's attention. "Do you have a map of Equestria?"

Mega Man shook his head, "Sorry, Batman. I never got a chance to do that when I was in my dimension."

Batman pulled out a flashdrive. "Use this. It contains a detailed map of Equestria. Using your advanced technology, I think you can give us an idea of where we're at." he handed Mega Man the flashdrive, and the robot placed it on his arm, the data transmitting to his servos.

"Nice-a thinking, Batman." Mario complimented.

Raph rolled his eyes, "So, we're trustin' the robot kid and a guy dressed as a bat. Sure why not?"

Spider-Man looked to the ninja turtle, "Welcome to my life. Pure craziness twenty-four seven. If anything, what I'm witnessing is in the middle of my weirdness scale."

"...Right." commented Raphael.

Mega Man finally spoke after finally installing the map information, "Guys... I think we're supposed to be in a forest. But... There's literally nothing here. Just ash and burnt wood. It's even worse than I thought." he muttered.

Sonic's eyes widened, "Holy crud... That's not right. This definitely has Robuttnik written all over it. That Egghead's always trying to ruin nature." he grumbled.

"Mama mia..." gasped Mario. "How-a even is-a this possible?"

Batman scowled, "Our enemies. They did this to this world, and we will stop them. This victory for them is only temporary."

"Kinda makes ya wander what else could go wrong." grumbled the ninja turtle.

Suddenly, a shadow began to cover the six, prompting the Warriors to look up. Sonic pointed at the sky, "Um..." he said, seeing a giant airship hovering above the six. "I dunno about you guys, but a giant airship flying above you isn't normal. Then again, this also has Eggman written all over it."

"And-a Bowser too." Mario added.

"See what happens when you say those words, Raph?" Spider-Man quipped.

"How the shell was I supposed to know this would happen?" Raphael wondered in annoyance, grabbing his sai.

Doors on the bottom of the ship opened up, revealing an army of robotic beings as they landed. "Intruder alert. You are trespassing within Cabal territory. We will use lethal force if necessary." said a robot in a voice that Sonic recognized.

"What kinda Egg Pawns are these? They even have Eggman's voice!" Sonic wondered aloud.

Raphael ran up to one to stab it with his sai, but the bot vaught his arm and flipped the turtle over his shoulder. Raph grunted as he fell on his back. "The shell? That's not the Foot's usual fightin' style." he admitted, rubbing the back of his shell.

Batman stepped forward, throwing a batarang into one of the robot's shoulders. "It most likely isn't. Remember, our worst enemies have joined forces. They most likely created a robot line capable of countering our abilities. Ra's must have had a hand in creating the martial arts style for this robot."

Spider-Man shrugged, "Alright. Anything else we gotta worry about?" he asked.

"Halt!"

The voices, prompted the six to circle around each other. They saw ponies wielding large guns surrounding them. "By the order of Emperor Doom you are to stand down." one of the ponies ordered. They all wore armor that covered their bodies and muzzles.

"Well, the locals aren't too friendly here it seems." sighed Sonic, raising his hands. He faced the army, "Alright, dudes. We can do this the easy way. Or the hard way."

"You dare threaten the chosen defense army of the Cabal?" a pony growled.

"Really, Sonic?" whispered Raph.

"Look. If we can stall 'em, we can get enough time to make a hasty retreat. So far, we have no idea what we're up against. And this is comin' from a guy who runs into situations head on." Sonic quitely responded to the turtle.

Batman shook his head, "It looks like they're not giving us much options. Rock, hit one of the robots, we'll have to draw them out. You, Mario and Sonic will fight the new robots. Peter, Raph and I will hold off the ponies. From there, we will try to evade the airship. We must be under surveillence."

"Hey. I ain't askin' to take orders from a nut in a batsuit," Raph grumbled.

"Got any other options, Raph?" the hedgehog asked.

Mega Man raised a hand, changing it to his arm cannon. In a moment, he charged his Mega Buster and hit one of the robots, blowing them up. The expolsion was the last straw for the army and so one of them pointed a hoof forward, "ATTACK!" he yelled as loud as possible.

Lasers began to shoot out of the guns that the ponies held. Spider-Man's Spider-Sense warned him fast enough to where they were being aimed. He shoved Batman and Raphael out of the way and leaped in the air, drop-kicking a pony in the nose, a loud cracking sound heard as his foot collided with their face. "Yeesh. Sorry about that. But you're really not giving us a choice here. It's fight or lose the war instantly." he shot a line of webbing to his side, jamming one of the guns.

This gave Batman an opportunity to give a pony a right hook, spinning his body so fast that the pony was unable to counter the Dark Knight using his Batclaw to disarm him and throw his body down with a yank. Batman used the grapple to pull the armored pony toward him and deliver a powerful uppercut to their chin, launching them. Spider-Man shot a web-line at them and slammed them on the ground, knocking them unconscious, "See you next fall!" he quipped.

Raphael gritted his teeth, moving his arm so that his sai blocked the pony's hoof from using the laser gun. With a swipe, he disarmed the pony and hit their face with the blunt end of his weapon. "Are ya really jokin' at a time like this? We're fightin' for our lives here!" he yelled, throwing another armored goon over his shoulder instantly. Raphael kicked a mook that was charging at him and knocked the wind out of him. He used his sai to stab their armor, weakening it long enough to get s good blow in. He noticed red drops on his weapon and ignored it.

Spider-Man flip-kicked a goon so hard they were sent flying into another. Batman silenty tossed a batarang in the direction of a pony running after him, it being driven into his shoulder. In that moment, the Dark Knight slammed his fist downward, making the pony eat dirt, breaking their mask. The wall-crawler webbed up the last few goons, allowing Raph and Batman to finish the job with ease, seeing all their weapons destroyed or gone. The web-slinger took the moment to respond to the turtle, "...Yeah. It's how I lighten the atmosphere, you know?"

"Somethin' tells me you're gonna be as annoying as Mikey," the turtle grumbled, kneeling down to grab one of the laser guns the armored ponies held, "Huh. This looks like somethin' the Krang would have. Shredder must've had a hand in designin' how these things work. Luckily, none of us got hit. Would've hurt like hell."

With the other Warriors, they were busy fighting off the robots. Mario threw a fireball at one of them, causing them to burst into flames for a second before the smoke disappeared. He performed a spin attack, driving the robot into a combo that launched it into the air easily. Sonic took the moment to leap in the air and spin-kick it to the horizon, hearing it explode in the distance, a satisfied smile on his face.

Before he landed however, Sonic curled into a ball and Spin-Dashed through the torso of three robots, blowing them up instantly. He uncurled and landed on his knees, turning his head to see more robots trying to shoot at him. Bullets began to barely miss the hedgehog and he began to run at his usual supersonic speeds. "Woohoo!" he cheered, kicking a robot's head off like a soccer ball, aiming it at another head, bouncing off of it. "Goal!" he taunted,seeing the robot's body shortcircuit before falling onto the burnt grass with a loud thud.

Mega Man sighed, using his Mega Buster to shoot through the robots. "I wonder if Wily planted a failsafe to these bots?" he asked himself. He jumped up and shot again, hitting the robots that planned to jump after him. The Blue Bomber slid underneath another robot once he landed and tripped it, giving Mario a chance to spin-kick it while ducking performing an almost breakdance attack on it, breaking it apart.

Sonic tried to punch a robot, but it caught his fist. "Alright... These things are aware of fighting. Guess Bats was right in picking us three and our strange fighting style," he realized, using a Spin-Dash to cut through it like butter.

"Ya-ha! I-a see." Mario also noticed. "I think these were-a built for-a the others." he used his cape to spin a robot around and staggered it to Mega Man's direction. The Super Fighting Robot's armor changed colors and he threw a Metal Blade in its direction, chopping off its head and arms with a single one tossed.

"They just don't look like they're letting up." Mega Man observed, looking at the airship. More ponies and robots descended in beams of light with each one knocked out.

"It is true!" a deep voice echoed, "You can never stop us!"

Sonic clenched his fists at the sound of the voice, "Eggman! I had a feeling this was your ship!"

The scientist cackled, "You're correct in that assumption, you blue rodent! I knew that you would be coming here soon enough! Without you here, this world fell into the mercy of the Cabal!"

Batman looked upward, "Stop hiding and face us! This Cabal takeover isn't lasting much longer!"

"Oh, the big bad Bat thinks he can scare me? I'd rather have our minions do the work for us! And I'm not truly here for you to confront!" taunted the doctor.

Spider-Man crossed his arms, "Typical villain act. We're taking down this ship one way or another! We will save this world, and not even Doom or anyone in that cliche supervillain team can stop us!"

"You dare to try me? Very well, attack my minions!"

The ponies and robots began to shoot after the Warriors. The six of them dove behind a giant boulder seen near them and they took the monent of cover to come up with something.

"Okay." Sonic mumbled, "Anyone here got a plan?"

"We can't retreat yet. Their numbers are overwhelming us. We need to dwindle their forces before we can make a safe run to wherever Celestia said to go. From there, we have find a way to take down the Cabal." Batman decided.

"And they're already shootin' at us!" Raph snarled, "I can't hit all of 'em at once!"

"I have a plan."

Spider-Man rolled his eyes under his mask, "Of course you do."

"When do-a we go?" Mario asked.

Batman nodded, "When I say to. If we're going to survive this for now, you all need to follow my lead."

"Oh great, now we're pickin' leaders." Raph said.

"Now's not the time, Raph." Mega Man scolded, holding his Mega Buster up. "We'll worry about that part when we're not fighting for our lives."

"Yeah. We shouldn't go against each other yet." Sonic said. "We need to be on the same side until this is over."

"Okay."

The six jumped out of their hiding spot, ready for another round.

"NOW!"
