An Amethyst Heist

Grand entrance

Previous Chapter

The castle’s interior was almost untouched, the walls were intact and the flooring was like new it shone from the light of a large candle chandelier above them which, ominously enough, was lit. The hoofsteps of the team echoed through the entire grand entrance as the voice of the pony from the balcony echoed throughout the entrance

“This is the grand hall and the furthest place my communication devices can reach, from here you’ll be completely aimless and have no guidance whatsoever. All you need to do is find the large vault underground but beware of the castles ancient protectors” Began the voice “Even I have not seen them, they are silent and extremely deadly. Should you encounter one I’d guess you would know it and in that case fight until your dying breath... but you should be fine unarmed in an abandoned castle with a surprising amount of traps and a mysterious attacker, don’t even think about the fact the doors are slowly closing behind you sealing you in to a seemingly gruesome demise. Just focus on the safe and nothing else” and with that the voice stopped

“Well Sapphire and I will be heading this one” Sounded Ruby poking her nose into the air like a snob as they wandered off

“No matter, come Sprocket!” Exclaimed Amethyst turning to where Sprocket was once standing. It seems he to had left Amethyst stood alone in the middle of this very deadly, haunting grand entrance.

“N-no matter!” Resumed Amethyst now talking to himself “I’ll find the treasure and escape by myself!” then suddenly a phrase flew through his head

“If one of you dies, all of you die”

Immediately his eyes widened

“RUBY!! SAPHIRE!” He yelled running after them “WAIT FOR ME!”

(Just a quick note, if you want to listen to some music during this I highly recommend this as I wrote it listening to this either way it's optional!)

As he approached the figures of what seemed to be Sapphire and Ruby he took a moment to remember how ravishing they appeared to be in the courtyard and how he used to try and impress all the mares back in Ponyville with his flying. Which usually ended in a loud and clear “You suck” but nevertheless these two ponies seemed sophisticated, classy and the type that wouldn’t care if he smelt like week old garbage, after all not everypony can afford a bath in the everfree forest that’s just impractical. There’s lakes for that.

“So Sapphire...” He began making his voice deeper, he leant on the figure of Sapphires back and began to babble random nonsense in hope of it making any sense then he pushed the figure of Sapphire a bit

“You seem cold, like stone...” Stated Amethyst taking a closer examination of the figure “Oh... you’re a statue... well buck! I spent five minutes trying to pick up a statue...” he began his trotting down the hallway again when he heard a series of cracking noise from behind him. He turned around with pure fear in his eyes hoping it wasn’t what he thought it was.

And it was.

There in the centre of the hallway stood a stone pony holding a large stone sabre which looked like it could be used to support a roof in architecture

“I don’t want to get hit by that” Muttered Amethyst

And so Amethyst did what any respectable gentleman would do in a situation such as this

He turned and ran like a little bitch, as fast as he could.
