Scratch upon a Vinyl.

Streets of Ponyville

'The wind through my sky and sea blue mane, the big toothy grin and the laughter between two friends, I was happy, happy then I had ever been before I had made a friend who liked me for me!' these thoughts overwhelmed me trying to make sure I toppled, they succeeded, I had gone face first into some hay that was at the side of the street.

"well looky here, look's like ya just been tryin'ta find a needle in a haystack little one, here let me help ya" came a voice as smooth as silk, with a bit of a southerner accent.

I was quickly pulled out to reveal a green mare, with light golden orange eyes, "Th-thanks miss for pulling me out of there" I stumbled a bit trying to recollect myself from the sudden collision.

"What's your rush little'en, you late for something?" questioned the green mare.

"Wha-uh, no sorry I was just playing wit.."

"Pinkie Pie, what are ya doin in Ponyville, shouldn't ya be on the rock farm?"

"Hi Granny Smith, what are you selling today?" replied Pinkie trying to change the conversation.

"Well I'm selling the usual Pinkie as always, so who's ya friend here?"

"Oh this is..is"

"Vinyl miss, Vinyl Scratch" I replied with a smile.

"Well it's nice ta meet ya" giving a smile back.

I couldn't help but notice an orange filly looking like she was trying to hide behind Granny Smith, from what I caught of her she had green eyes, white freckles and a blonde mane that was tied with a red band, as to the same with her tail.

"Uhm, hello?" I tried to lure this orange pony out to talk to her, and befriend her.

"C'mon now AppleJack, this little filly want's to talk to you" Granny smith replied whilst turning round to see her.

As Granny Smith moved out of the way, I had come to realize she wasn't hiding but putting apples in to a basket.

"Well howdy partner, haven't seen you around ya'll new here?"

As she was talking to me my mum and dad came up from behind me.

"yeh, we just moved here, I was just going to Sugar Cube Corner wit..."

"Pinkamena Diane Pie! I have been looking everywhere for you, me and your mother have been worried sick" called a stallion that was walking over in relief.

"uh oh, I'm in big troubly wubbly" commented Pinkie as she lowered her head.

"Why in Equestria would you just walk off like this without telling us anything?"

"I just wanted to get a cupcake and I was going to come back straight away, I Pinkie promise!"

The stallion stood there and groaned, "well at least you are safe, That's all that matters"

"well howdy Pick, how's the farm?" Granny Smith questioned peacefully,

"It's going just fine Granny, How is the acres going?"

"Well me an AppleJack here thought we'd get some extra bits for some supplies, while Big Mac was plowing the fields to plant some seeds"

"Well I would love to stay and chat but we ought'ta be getting back we have a bit of work to do our own, right Pinkie?"

Pinkie was in a trance all the way through that conversation, quickly snapping out of it when her father started to talk to her.

"Huh, oh yeh, well I will see you later Vinyl, I will find you tomorrow in school"

Pick turned round and apologized for not talking to me or my mum and dad.

"Dearest apologies for being so rude, it's just been a tight schedule and with the little'en running around I haven't had time for idol chit chat"

My mum gestured with a hoof "no worries, this won't be the last time we bump into each other, that's for sure" smiling throughout.

"Bye pinkie see you at school!" I shouted as Pinkie started walking away with her father.

Sugar Cube Corner

We finally arrived at Sugar Cube Corner, to find it was made to look like a gingerbread house, I must of wasted about five minutes just looking at the outside, it looked good enough to eat!

A ring came from the door I looked and found my mum and dad waiting for me to come and join them to get a sweet treat to feast on.

"So, what do you want Vinyl? I know a chocolate fudge cupcake, no? A, lemon cupcake?" My dad trying have a little fun and name every one except my favorite.

"Dad! you know which is my favorite, mine is strawberry you said that before we came out!"

"ah yes, one strawberry cupcake please"

gesturing to one of the cupcakes behind the glass counter, and also a young light blue mare with an apron and a mane that looked a bit like candyfloss, I chuckled at that due to the fact she works at a candy store.

"Here you go sweetie, just take a seat over by the window if you like we will be over in a second" smiling whilst passing me my prize for the night.

I took a seat by the window, whilst my mum and dad was talking to the baker behind the counter, I stared out the window taking a biggish bite out of my cupcake, noticing all the Ponies walking around minding there own business, and the Apples looking as if they was packing up to get back to there acre, if that's where they stay the night?

I was soon joined by my mum and dad each with there own dessert, my mum with a lemon cupcake and my dad with a chocolate mu..

"MUFFFFIN!" a shout came from across the room.

We all darted are heads to find a gray Pegasus bolting towards us her eyes locked on what seemed to be the muffin or the floor, I really couldn't tell it looked like she had a problem with her sight

Just before the Pegasus jumped onto the table a set of hooves grabbed the little one before a mess of cupcake and icing was splattered everywhere.

"I'm so sorry she tends to get excited every time she see's a muffin, she has like and addiction of somewhat to them?"

"No need to apologize miss, here you go little one" my dad threw the muffin to the gray Pegasus.

As soon as it came from his hooves she had it half eaten.

"Now what do you say to the nice stallion Derpy?" looking down towards her child

"Famp u mifter" she said between bites.

The two gray pegasi's, big and small left for the streets, why didn't they fly away, hmm, maybe Derpy can't fly properly yet? maybe she will attend my scho..."ahh crud"

"Vinyl!"
