I ran as fast as I could go, 'just one more corner, there it is'.

I stopped in my tracks, the door it was open just a bit and no one was standing there, I slowly entered my home, opening the door to a big thick wall of smoke, I choked and coughed, and when the door had hit the wall all the smoke was rushing out into the outside world, revealing all hidden behind the wall.

"See this is what happens when I leave to get some groceries and leave you to cook!"

Holding a hoof to her head and trying to shake off the thin layer of smoke, that had stayed clinging to her the entire time criticizing my dad.

"Hahahaha, you look like a raincloud!" his signature humor overthrowing the dreaded stare my mum launched towards him, then breaking into a fit of laughter.

I simply smirked and walked over, the rest of the smoke seemed to be rushing out of the window, what was left of it that is.

"Hey Mom, Dad, can I go out tonight with Pinkie Pie and Applejack?"

"Well of course dear, but, you have to clean yourself up first" She replied devilishly grinning

"But, I'm not dirt-"

With a quick swipe she graced my face with a big long grey streak on my cheek.

"Muuuuum!"

We all started laughing again, I swear my family has a laughing disease or something.

"Okay, I am gonna go clean this beautiful streak of my face, and go meet my friends, if they don't knock for me first"

I walked upstairs went straight into the bathroom, placing my saddlebag just outside, and pulled myself onto a little stool so I could see this smear on my face, I grabbed the cloth ran it under the tap and started scrubbing within a few seconds the smear was gone, I though to myself I might as well clean my teeth while I'm here, this also gave me time to maintain my levitation spell, 'Toothbrush check! Toothpaste check! Now all I gotta do is put the toothpaste onto th-'

*SPLAT*

"Awwww, apple buckets!"

The mirror, the sink, the floor heck even me was now a new brand of toothpaste from that explosion of minty freshness, a cloth in hand and a while before the others would show up I had started to clean the bathroom.

A few moments later

Done! Now where was I, ah yes, I tried again more gentle this time and knowing there wouldn't be another explosion due to the toothpaste practically being gone now, I cleaned my teeth, and with a big gleaming smile, I was satisfied, I jumped down from the little stool and hurried downstairs, now if I was telepathic I wouldn't of gone down at the exact time Pinkie and that would show up, I opened the door to reveal the ball of fun, the cow girl and the-

"You again!"

"MUFFFFFFFIN!" shouting as she launched into the air

"We bumped into her on the way here, she said she was trying to find something to keep her occupied while her mum was working, she only lives round the corner she was just sitting there looking at the ground, well at least I thought it was the ground" still hopping around as usual.

The grey Pegasus stood there staring for a while, man I always got confused who or what she was looking at until she finally stated.

"MUFFIN!"

"uh heh, yeh my daddy was the one who gave you that muffin, did you like it?"

She didn't reply, she simply shook her head up and down, pretty much like a rag doll would if it was being played with by a two year old.

I moved my head slowly away from the Pegasus's glance and looked toward Pinkie and AJ, "so where we heading?"

"Oh, oh, that's easy we are, we are going to, to" she finally started to go bog eyed from the intense thinking.

"We are goin ta'git Rarity" AJ said humbly crossing her forelegs.

"Awwwh, why do you always beat me to it!"

AJ, just chuckled and we went on our way, my mum and dad standing outside waving me off for the day.

Streets of Ponyville

The first thing anyone wanted was to try and get Rarity out from the boutique she seems to be all over the fashion ever since she got her Cutie-Mark for it, her mum, apparently helps her friend out at the boutique, she either models for her friend her helps with supplies for her dresses, Rarity's parents are also a bit on the country side to.

"were here guys!" shouted AJ from up ahead.

The Boutique had fancy poles and decorations all around the outside, and a big purple door, out of nowhere Pinkie cam bouncing over me and kinda attacked the door with her face, like a woodpecker would do with her face, hoofsteps were heard from inside the Boutique and then the top half opened up, to reveal a pink mare with big purple hair do.

"Hey is Rarity in, we didn't see her in school today?"

"Oh, very sorry girl's she isn't very well today she has the pony poks, best keep her resting"

"Oh, ok tell her we said hope she gets better" AJ replied with her common smug grin.

At this point we completely got all caught up with getting Rarity to come out, we had forgot about Derpy, who was trying to wrestle a sign which had a picture of a muffin on it, she toppled it at one point and sat staring down at the sign, waiting for it to give up it's picture nothing else.

"Derpy! That's a sign not an actual muffin"

"But, but, muffin"

"uhm, yeh so shall we go to the park or something?"

"sounds like a swell idea pard'ner"

I noticed she always has that hat, why does she always have it?

"AJ, why do you always have that hat?"

"Well it's mah brothers, and it's darn funny when he find's out I keep takin' it from im" she chuckled at that.

So we all headed to the park so we could do multiple things for a bit of fun for the evening, it didn't take us long to reach to park due to it being right close to the Boutique, we entered the park to get confronted by some young stallions, who looked as if they didn't want us here.

"What are you doing coming to our park?" the first one stated stepping forward and blocking our entrance further onto the park.

"yeh, why don't you go home and play with your silly dolls" the three of them chuckled at that.

These stallions appeared to be kids who just left our school, apparently the same year as AJ's big brother

"Hey, you are Mac's dumb little sister" pointed the third stallion.

"Yes ah am, what about it?"

"We had gotten into a bit of trouble at school because of your brother, oh, and it seems you have his hat" the third one was the biggest of them, he stepped forward and nabbed the prized family hat off AJ.

"HEY, give that back, t'aint yours!"

AJ jumped onto the stallions back and tried to retrieve the hat back off him, the stallion without thinking reared and knocked AJ of his back, now if there was a superhero with super hearing, none could amount to big Mac's hearing when it came to his little sister.

"Scuse me, but that isn't a way to treat a little'en, especially my sister"

Mac literally materialized out of thin air behind the third stallion, his posture crumbling into a crouch from the towering mountain that was Macintosh.

"uhm heheh, hi Mac, w-we were just playing is all"

His voice trembled furiously, shocked by his towering foe overhead.

"A suggest, you say sorry to mah sis, and give her the hat, like a good little foal"

The stallions hooves shook and quivered wrestling the hat off his head and towards AJ.

"He-here you go, missy, sorry for hurting you" is lip started to tremble like the rest of his body.

"Now, git" Mac tossed his hair in order to vanish.

"Thanks big brother!"

"It's what a big brothers for AJ, now go play with your friends and take good care of the hat, okay?"

"I will, thanks Mac"

He started walking away the mountain of a stallion sticking up for four fillies, as soon as he turned a corner we looked straight at AJ.

"what?"

With a simultaneous grin, we all cheered for Mac, that he could still probably hear from where he was.

We finally got to playing and laughing, throughout the evening until the sun was almost gone we played and played non stop, well until all my our parents came for each of us, we all said our goodbye's and set off home, to wait for the next adventure that awaited us the next day.
