The Adventures of Hero

"So class, can anyone explain what this is?"

We now go to present day, where Hero has now grown into a stallion, teaching little colts and fillies alongside Cheerilee, his sister. He is teaching them different types of creatures, pointing at a three headed dog-like creature on the board.

"Oh-me-me-me"

One of the little fillies raised their hoof to answer the question.

"Yes, Diamond?", Hero asked her.

Diamond Tiara lowers her hoof. "Is it a chimera", she asked.

"No", Hero said, "Sorry, that's not it. Anyone else?"

Another filly raised their hoof. "Is it a Hydra?", she asked.

"No, but close.", Hero said.

A third hoof raised, this time, a colt by the name of Pipsqueak. "Is it a Cerberus", he asked.

Hero checked his Teacher's Book.

"Yes", Hero said, "That is correct."

Suddenly, the bell rang. Students ran out of the school in joy, and cheer.

"And, that is all the time we have today, next week we talk about Cutie Marks, what they are, and tell stories of how everyone got theirs."

The fillies and colts didn't hear the teachers

"Yay, we're free for two more days", one filly said.

"Come on Silver Spoon", said Diamond Tiara, "Me and Daddy are going to be giving money and better toys and furniture to the Orphanage."

"Come on girls", Applebloom told Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, "let's go help other fillies with Cutie Mark problems.

The little ponies were all gone in about 15.23 seconds. How do I know that? Hero and Cheerilee always time dismissals for fun.

"That's a new record", Hero said, looking at the stopwatch.

"I think that was the best teaching day, yet", Cheerilee says.

"You said it", Hero agreed, "No one even argued at each other. That's rare."

Cheerilee giggled, and put an hoof around her big brother.

"Look at us", she said, "Following in our Mom's hoofprints. I'd bet she'd be so proud of us."

Hero grinned, and looked down at Cheerilee, putting his hoof around her.

"Yeah", he said, "I bet she would. But, she is in a better place, now..."

They both paused. Cheerilee, looking down, sad.

"...in Las Pegasus, on retirement, winning millions, even billions, of bits."

She looked up in embarrassment.

"O-oh", she said, again, in embarrassment, "I-I thought you meant 'something else'."

"What do you mean?", Hero asked

"N-nothing, nothing", Cheerilee said nervously, "N-nevermind"

Hero hugged her sister, went over to the coat rack, and grabbed his coat.

"Well", he said, "I'm off to go see Twilight and her friends."

He left, heading towards Twilight's Castle.

"Okay", Cheerilee said, "I'll just stay here, and just grade papers, alone, by myself, with no help.

Cheerilee continued to mumble words even when Hero left. But, Hero didn't hear her. His mind drifted off, as he walked to the castle of Twilight Sparkle.

Hero was trotted along the streets of Ponyville. He had plenty of time to get to Twilight's Castle. As he walked pass an alley way, however...

"Gimme the bag lady, and no one gets hurt."

A women was getting robbed by someone.

"No", the mare said, "All of my food is in here."

"Okay, lady", the robber said, "You asked for this"

The robber raised his hoof up to punch the mare. But, just as he was about to, Hero put a hoof on his shoulder.

"Dude", Hero said, "I wouldn't do that if I were you."

The robber turned around.

"H-Hero?"

He was shocked to find that behind him was the guy that beat him to a pulp and got him arrested for robbing someone a month ago.

"Oh", Hero told him, "You remember me? Well then. Do you really want what happened last time to happen to you again?"

"N-no", the robber said, "N-n-not at all."

"Well then", Hero said, "Leave this women alone, get out of here, and don't let me see rob anyone again. Can you do that?"

"Y-yes", the Robber said, "I can definitely do that."

The robber began to walk out of the alley, carrying on that he wouldn't ever do it again, he promised. Hero turned to the mare he helped.

"No need to thank me", he said, "I just like to help people whenever I ca..."

He looked at her, immediately recognizing who she was.

"Derpy", he asked, "What are you doing out here so late?"

"I-I was buying muffins for Dinky's Birthday, tomorrow.", Derpy said, nervously, like she did something wrong.

Hero sighed. "What am I gonna to do with you?", he thought.

"Do you need any help, Derpy?"

"No thank you", she said, "I'm fine."

Hero looked at his watch.

"Oh, crud", Hero said in panic, "I'm late for my Magic Lessons with Twilight. Bye, Derpy. Be safe out here."

"Oh, don't worry Hero", Derpy said, "I'll be fine."

Hero galloped out of the alley way, and back into the streets.
