...Next Morning...Early...Six in the morning, i jumped awake at the rudely loud sounds of Rainbow's sonic rainboom..

Bah, how i hate that stunt...Well, time to get out of bed, and wobble towards the bathroom.

And pack everything, you know...Not that i had much with me..

Anyways, as i arrived at the bathroom i heard sounds coming from behind the door..

so i assumed it was fluttershy and decided to get breakfast first...

On my way towards the kitchen i noticed how most of the animals were still sleeping..I stopped to take a look at one of them, which was making funny noises and movements, obviously in a dream or a nightmare, i giggled a bit and walked on, shaking my head a little...

So, once at the kitchen i started looking for food, didn't find anything but vegetables, no oatmeal or anything, so i just shrugged and grabbed a random vegetable, turned out being a tomato..I ofcourse did eat it afterwards..

So i sat there, trying to enjoy the tomato, when suddenly Fluttershy came in, i smiled at her and asked her why there was no oatmeal or anything alike...She said that it was because no one in her house eats it...Seems logical, she told me i'd better be going if i wanted to do something today..So i took my leave, taking everything with me i had with me, which wasn't much but a bag of money...

On the way to town somepony suddenly came running out of the bushes in Evergreen forest, grabbed me by the neck and quickly pulled me into the bush he was hiding in...

I had my eyes closed, and he had his hoof on my mouth so i won't produce sound...

He said something about dragons.."Don't make any sound, let them pass by as soon as they're gone"

I tried to say something, but it came out muffled by the cause of his hoof...

After a little waiting he released my mouth...I started to yell at him: "In the name of celestia, what is this?! Who are you?! Why did you pull me into this bush?!"

After which i opened my eyes and tried to look at my captor, failing at doing so, he brang out in a rather grunty voice:

"As you can see m'lady, there is a group of dragon which you are not aware of, trying to catch that phoenix, and you were in the way of them. My name is Azure Flame, I pulled you to the bush to protect you, as you can see, my cutie mark has a shield on it, with flames enveloping it. It means that my duty is to protect everypony."

Still wriggling around so i could see him, i brang out: "Oh, great, cutiemarks, well, y'know, i don't have one...Nor do i really care...And it's not like i can't beat up a group of young dragons!"

The stallion named Azure Flame continued to resist my struggle to look at him, bringing out: "Trust me, you don't wanna face those dragons. I'd faced them before and I regretted that. They have very strong magic repellant and strong enough to block my attacks. Consider yourself lucky, if not for me, you should've been dead right now."

I would keep struggling silently, during which he continued talking, saying: "And I heard you mentioned you have no cutiemark, eh blank flank? Got no special talent or whatsoever?...Oh and..sorry about that, I should let you go, but first tell me your name.."

"Captain Jack Steamwing...You can call me Jackie 'cause ya' saved me...And i indeed am a blank flank, havn't found my certain special talent yet..Now..I'd really like to see the face of the stallion that "saved me".." i said in return, letting out a grunt of annoyance..

He said i could call him flame, and allowed me to see him..He seemed pretty kind, i went abit shy for being such a jerky pony and couldn't really say something..

"What's the matter? Dragon got your tongue?" in a brashfull tone, "I think we should get out of the bush now, the dragons are gone and it's really getting uncomfortable." he went on...

I reacted with a simple: "M-mhm...Y-yes..Let's..Do t-that...Hehe.."

He asked where i was heading, i told him i was going to Rarity, for clothes...After which he said: "Oh so you are heading to Carousel Boutique? I can guide you there. And I'm not taking no as an answer, there might be another raid will go on. And this road will be closed for the moment, so nopony gets harmed, so shall we go,Jackie?" I said sure, and asked if he wanted to know my real name, he did, and i told him "Well...It's just as real as Jackie but....Jackie is not my pony name...My pony name is Gizmo Puff...I think it's terrible.." After which i giggled..

He said: "Well that's a pretty cool name, let's stop the chit chat and let's go where you are headed at ok? It's getting dark, its very dangerous if it's night time." and looked up at the sky, i told him to go on and lead me,

"Whatever you say" he said..Deep inside of me i thought about abusing that statement..But i shrugged it off and nodded, waiting for him to take off...

Then he said: "Alright Gizmo, just follow me.

Oh and do catch up on me, it seems I rivaled one of the best flier in the equestria.

I'm just sayin' this because you might be a slowpoke.

Hey now that I think about it, can you fly faster than me? Well, we let's test that out, shall we?" after which he dashes off...

I, having bruised my wing quite badly by the crash earlier, couldn't accept his race invite, and yelled at him "Hey! I can't fly! I broke my friggin' wing!" after staring a second or two...

"Ahw nuts, you should've said that earlier in the first place, we should go to the hospital first to check your wing!" he replied, to then slowly hover down and land near me..

I, ofcourse, rejected the offer to go to the hospital, saying i've got better stuff to do..

"The hospital won't be too far away- No, you must check that wing first..Then after that, we can go to the place where you want to go." He said...

I told him that i'm scared my ship gets stolen, and he asked: "What ship?"..

"Well...My airship, ofcourse.." i said..

He went on: "Anyways, enough chit chat, we shall go to the hospital, I'll guard this "ship" of yours, I'll pay the hospital bills, so don't worry about it...Show me the map where you docked your ship.."...

I told him i'd make myself a mechanical wing support if he brought me to my cabin, but that i first wanted to get my coat and my hat..

He agreed on this, under the circumstance that we'll go to the hospital afterwards...

I glared him in the eye and said: "Okay, okay, fine, whatever.."

He told me to follow him, quickly, cause it was getting pretty late..I obeyed..

So we finally arrived at the boutique..He started: "Here we are... It's nice meeting you, hope to see you again some time..."

Inside my mind a little tear dropped..So i tried to stop him...

He asked what was wrong this time..

I told him: "Well, i-i thought you'd come with me to m-my ship..And we'd go to the h-hospital after i fixed this wing."

After which he said "Oh y-yeah , hehe, I'm just tired and all, sorry about that", having a pretty embarrased expression on his face..

I smiled at him, as i was rather very happy that he wasn't going to leave me behind just like this...I had to get that stallion to my cabin...He told me he'd go outside and i could call when i needed him, i walked towards the counter, rang the bell and waited for Rarity to show up...So after about one minute of waiting, she finally showed up, her hair abit messy, which i heard isn't really...Usual, she gave me a strange smile and asked how she could be of service.."Oh, uh, well hello dear, what could Rarity do for a young mare like you? Hmm? Maybe a new dress? Or some fabulous boots?"

I sighed, rolled my eyes and said "No, not really, i'd like buccaneer's hat, and a fitting coat...Here's about hundred coins.."

"Ow, but dear, that's way too mu-" she said, at that point i shoved my hoof in her face, gave her a glare and told her to just do it

"Just...Do it...Okay?"

"I-i'll have them fixed b-by tomorrow, hehe..O-okay, darling?" she said..

"..Fine, i'll see you tomorrow, then.." i went on...

I turned around and decided to walk outside, thinking it'd be easy to take the Azure Express to home

So, once outside i said ""Rarity says she'll have it fixed tomorrow, so i'd need to come back tomorrow, i suppose.."

"Alright, now let's go to this ship of yours." he said, i told him i should ride on his back 'cause my wing isn't usable right now..

I snickered and already start trying to get on his back..

"Or I can just follow you?" he objected...

I thought, measured the facts, and found out he was wrong, so i said "I can't fly so that won't really work....It's an airship...It's up in the air, you see?".

He sighed and said: "Oh, alright..Alright, just hop on my back. Don't do anything as soon as we take off."

And that's what i did, i hopped onto his back and (asfar as that's possible with hooves) wrapped my hooves around his neck..

"Alright, ready to take off.." he said, and started to hover, my heart sank a little..."Now, can I see the map where you docked your ship?" he went on, i gulped and told him it was on a cloud near my house...And gulped again

  After which he asked what i was worrying about "What are you worrying about?"

I went on, telling him in which direction he should go, but he persuaded his question and i told him i was scared of his speed..

He comforted me by saying he'd just go on normal speed...

A little while later we arrived on the ship, it was dark outside, pitch black, even..."Alright, we are here." he started..

  I said we'd better hurry and get into my cabin, he smiled at me, or so i think, it was too dark to see, and said "Alrighty"

So i entered the cabin, and checked for intruders, then i let him in,

after which i closed and locked the door as he asks "Ooo, pretty big cabin you have here. What do you do for living anyway?"

I told him i did nothing, and that i didn't need any work because of my father's adventures that brought treasures of human origin, and the money he made with selling a few of his lesser inventions..

"Treasures?" he asked.. "Treasures, aye...He travelled the world with this old ship...He even met humans...Whom gave him treasures.." i went on, and gave him a little grin, after which he complained about humans being only mythical..

I told him i saw them, i've been there i said..

  He asked for proof...So i went and showed him the human "treasures", opening the human made chest's lock is pretty hard for us ponies, for the lack of hands, except for unicorns, atleast...

"Having a hard time opening that chest? Don't you have any keys for it?" he asked..As the chest clicked open i started talking, answering both his questions "Ah! Open!...And aye..It's made by humans..and it's a keyless lock, i could've equipped my hands but..That hurts quite much, i don't want you to see me in such pain, not now atleast, nor do i want such pain at night..The lock works by simply turning this wheel around properly.."

He nodded and simply said "A'right...."

So, i opened the chest, yawning loudly,..And said it was time to sleep just on the same moment he said it "this "human" thing makes me sleepy, I'll sleep in the clouds, G'night..Hope to meet you again sometime.." and started to chog off..I stopped him, and told him that i'd feel lonely if he left, he decided to just stay here..And i chocked towards my bed and lied town, already closing my weary eyes..

"Alright, Ill be sleeping at the couch if you don't mind...G'night" he said..I already was sleeping, didn't bring out much, but i did say that i didn't mind...And i fell asleep completely..
