CHAPTER ELEVEN:

After the party, which lasted until around midnight, the gang joined into a large carriage to head back to Ponyville. By the time the party was over, everyone that had been killed was up and walking around again with nothing but a small headache.

The Crawler, however, stayed dead. Very dead.

When they were all comfortable in the carriage, it took off. Sparrow and Prince were stunned, seeing the ground from the clouds.

"I can't believe it, how can two pegasi carry the weight of an entire carriage, a large group of passengers, and the luggage?" Sparrow asked the purple mare.

"This is easy for them, they've been magically altered to be able to carry more while flying." Twilight explained in 'matter of fact' tone.

"I see." Sparrow nodded.

Three hours later, Ponyville outskirts

.

Most of the group had fallen asleep, only Sparrow and Fluttershy had stayed awake. "So...Rainbow Dash, eh?" Sparrow wiggled his eyebrows. Fluttershy squeaked, she turned to the snoozing cyan mare and smiled.

"I don't really know what caused it, but...back in flight school, she was just always there for me. When ever the bullies picked on me, she was there to make them stop. I didn't know what I was feeling, and when I asked my mother, she was furious, she said it wasn't natural. That it made me dirty. Daddy, on the other hoof, he tried explaining to me that I could like whoever I wanted, and that mom was just being dumb.

I tried to avoid those feelings with Dash for a little while, so mom wouldn't be mad at me, but I couldn't, I loved her too much for that. Eventually, my mom found out that I was talking to Dash again and...she tried to beat it out of me. It didn't work obviously. When dad found out what she was doing...he kicked her out.

Everyone remembers her for being the one who calmed Dr'kavi, the dragon that tried to burn the entirety of Equestria, they don't know her as the mother who beat her child, they know her as a hero. After she left, my dad let me bring Dash over every once in a while.

A little while later, Dash was kicked out of Flight school, and I didn't see her for quite a while after that. But when I saw her again several years later, she came to me and asked me on a date, I was so exited, and nervous, so very nervous. It went well, and we went on several more. That was years ago. Next week marks our three year anniversary, " Fluttershy leaned in close, "would you think it would be too soon to propose?"

Sparrow had been listening close to Fluttershy's story, and thought about her question for a minute. "It depends, do you really want to move your relationship to the next level? Marriage is a big step between two people." Sparrow leaned back in his seat.

"I do, but I'm just so nervous, I've gotten the earring already, and I just need to think of a way to propose that she'll never forget." Fluttershy put on a small smile.

"Well, if you're sure about it, do it. " Sparrow looked out the window and spotted Twilight's tree. The pegasi landed the cart in front of her tree and Sparrow woke the passengers. They all got out and went to their respective homes, leaving Sparrow, Prince, Trixie, and Applejack standing around.

"Ah have an extra room you two could borrow, " Applejack pointed a hoof at Sparrow and Trixie, "just no funny business please. And you, " she leaned up against Prince, "you can sleep with me."

"Thanks Applejack." Sparrow yawned. Trixie could barely stand because of how tired she was. They all walked to the Apple's house in silence, Sparrow had to carry Trixie, due to her falling over herself. They entered the silent home and made their way up, Applejack showed Sparrow to his room, and went to her room with Prince.

Morning, Twilight's place.

Spike woke the snoring mare with a burp, a message had arrived. Twilight, eyes half closed, picked up her water glass instead of the letter in her magical field and quickly jerked it to her face, causing it to soak her. "Gah! Paper isn't supposed to be wet!" She fell out of her bed. Lying upside down, she grabbed the letter and brought it to her face.

"Uh, Twi? You want to maybe not be upside down?" Spike looked at the drowsy mare once more before heading downstairs.

"Oh...right." Twilight crawled back up on her bed and read the letter.

Twilight Sparkle, please give the following letter to Sparrow:

Uyo eden ot rnaw elestcia, etreh ilwl eb a edwding, nda a ergat atlebt. Rwan het pinrcsses os heyt iliw antds a hanec, lesap.. Twilight Sparkle I know you will try to decode this, but it is best that you don't.

- Theresa the Seer.

"How odd, how did this Theresa send a letter through Spike? Only Celestia has been able to do that." Twilight pondered. "She may be a person from Albion, which is why she'd want me to give it to Sparrow...that makes sense." She hoped off the bed and made her way downstairs. "I'll bring it to him after breakfast." She murmured.

Back at the farm, everyone had already been awake for several hours. Instead of going out and doing nothing, Sparrow and Prince decided to work on the farm for a while. Trixie, however went to try and make some friends around town.

Sadly, there was little to be done, they were finished within two hours. The sat, quiet, and lazy in the house with literally no work to be done. Deciding enough was enough, Sparrow stood,

"I think I'm going to go wander around town." Sparrow stretched. "See you two later." He left. He found himself in the middle of town square within minutes, looking around, he spotted Pinkie. 'I wonder what her story is...' he thought to himself, he walked over to her table. "Hey, Pinkie!" Sparrow sat down and Pinkie turned to him. "Holy shit, what the fuck happened." He was immediately thrown into a state of confusion, her mane, which was normally poofy  and bright, was dark and straight.

"R-r-r-rarity cheated on me!" She wailed, she blew her nose, which, oddly, filled her tissue with confetti.

"How do you know?" Sparrow asked the sobbing mare.

"I w-went to see her this morning...and I caught her with a stallion in her mouth!" Pinkie wailed again. Sparrow's eyes widened slightly.

"Really now? What did she say when you walked in?"

"She looked me dead in the eye and didn't even stop!"

"If you don't mind my asking, how did you two end up together in the first place?" Sparrow leaned back, Pinkie took a breath while wiping her tears with a hoof.

"Well...Around two years ago, I saw the most beautiful mare I had ever seen just standing around, looking at vegetables. A brilliant alabaster coat, deep, shiny purple mane, and eyes as bright as stars. I never really felt nervous before, so I didn't know what to do. Of course, I threw her a party, I always do that, after the party, it seemed like she was trying to avoid me...I left her alone for a while, around two or three weeks, to see if that would help. I eventually talked to her again, and more and more each day. We were great friends for the longest time. But I wanted more, I was hoping she felt the same way. I asked her out on a date, and thankfully, she agreed.

I took her to my favorite place in the world, the beach." Pinkie let out a sad laugh "She refused to get on the sand, complaining that her outfit would get dirty. She wound up paying for dinner later as an apology, and I didn't hold it against her. I just wish she was really really with me, she's been distant and only seems to want me for my body...I  didn't want to believe that but I'm really starting to." Pinkie stopped momentarily.

"It may not be my place to judge, but if what you're saying is true, than that isn't a real relationship, its just a...I don't know, but it isn't a relationship. Are you happy, Pinkie, happy with her?" Sparrow leaned forward.

"I want to say yes, I really do, but I'm not...this isn't even the first time I've caught her." Pinkie hung her head.

"You don't need this, the pain you get from a person like that. I won't make you, but I highly suggest you take my advice and leave her." Sparrow patted her head before standing and walking away, leaving Pinkie to think. Sparrow, who's mood had slightly lowered, made his way to Twilight's.

He saw the mare, Spike on her back, leaving the library. "Oh, hello Sparrow, I was just about to bring this letter to you! It came from some women named Theresa." Twilight took the letter from her saddle bag in her magic and gave it to the Hero.

"How did Theresa send a letter...?" Sparrow took the letter and opened it, Twilight had already walked away when he realized it was scrambled. "It being scrambled makes more sense than Theresa writing a letter hammered."

Twilight Sparkle, please give the following letter to Sparrow

You need to warn Celestia, there will be a wedding, and a great battle. Warn the Princesses so that they will stand a chance, please. Twilight Sparkle, I know you will try to decode this, but it is best that you don't.

-Theresa the Seer

"I'll get on that when I can..." He folded the letter and put it in his pocket.
