Chapters I wake up the next morning and got showered and packed for my next horrible day of High School, including my second day of punishment. I make my way towards English class and got out my notebook and copy of Lord of The Flies . As I laid them out, I looked back up to Miss Cheerilee who stood in front of the class with a smile on her face.
"Good afternoon, everyone," said Miss Cheerilee, "I know that I look very excited its because we have a new student starting her first day at Canterlot High."
"Pssh," I scoffed in my mind, "just what we needed, another person to come to this God forsaken school. I wonder how this chick will suffer?"
The door opens, getting everyone's attention, including myself. As she entered, my eyes widen with surprise. This new girl is really pretty. She had multiple colors on her hair such as violet, rose, and pale gold. Her eyes were the color of light purple that would hypnotize any guy within this school. As for clothing, she wore a blue jacket with the school's logo on it and wore a skirt. There was something about this girl that caught my attention; I believe her beauty is the reason. Never have I been so captivated by a beauty like her. I began to feel my heart beating a little quickly, as she waved to everyone in the class.
"Hi everyone," said the girl, as she stood beside Miss Cheerilee, "my name is Cadance and I hope we can all get along. I transferred here from Crystal Prep; that school was getting boring and I decided to come here."
"Why don't you sit beside Eren over there," said Miss Cheerilee, as she pointed at the empty desk beside me.
My heart skipped a beat; I can't believe she's gonna be sitting right next to me. That desk beside me has been empty for a while and now, a cute girl is gonna sit by me. I hope I don't ruin her image. I looked around and could see some people looking over to me surprised, as though they too didn't see that coming. The girl walks past me and sits down in her seat.
"Miss Cadance," said Miss Cheerilee, "have you read Lord of The Flies back in Crystal Prep before transferring here?"
"I have," answered Cadance, "I was up to chapter six."
"Oh goodie. You are ahead of the class."
Cadance smiled back to the teacher, before Miss Cheerilee began taking roll call. We all said out names, as Miss Cheerilee wrote down on her PC who was present and that there were no absence.
"Okay class," said Miss Cheerilee, as she picked up some papers, "you are to partner up with a student and are to answer the questions that are based on the two chapters you were supposed to read last night."
Everyone began crowding around Cadance, as they all knew she read three chapters ahead of us and would love to get help from her. I sat on my desk and began looking down at the questions.
"Everyone," said Miss Cheerilee, making everyone stop their actions and look back up to the teacher, "let Cadance choose who she wants to work with."
Everyone groaned and stepped away from Cadance to find another partner. Cadance looks around the class and caught her eye on someone; that 'someone'… is I.
She scoots her desk close to mine and sat beside me with a smile on her face.
"You look like you need a partner," said Cadance, "mind if I be partners with you?"
I looked around the room, as people murmured to one another' probably because Cadance wants to be partners with a guy like me. I felt like I was ruining her image, but I had no other option, but accept defeat.
"Sure," I replied, "if that's what you like."
The class went a bit quiet, as partners began discussing on the questions from what we were supposed to read the other night. Cadance and I began on the first question, as I knew what it was. I wrote down the answer before Cadance could copy what I wrote.
"Seems like I chose a good partner," said Cadance, as she smiled at me.
"I don't think choosing me was good," I said, not making eye contact with her, "you should've chose someone who wouldn't make your image bad."
"Why's that?" asked Cadance.
"… I'm just a guy… who doesn't get along with people."
"… Oh… why's that?"
"Let's just say, I'm the most pathetic man in the school who is bullied by a girl."
"A girl ?"
"That's right… a girl."
I began reading the second question, as Cadance takes out a pencil sharpener and sharpens her pencil. Fifteen minutes past, as Cadance and I finished earlier than the others.
"So who is this girl that bullies you?" asked Cadance out of the blue.
"Why would you like to know?" I retorted.
"Because I feel bad for you. If something's wrong, you have to do something."
"I can't… I'm too much of a coward to stand up for myself. I just stand there and take whatever comes up to me."
"Alright everyone," said Miss Cheerilee, "times up, pencils down. Pull your chairs back to their normal spots."
Everyone pushed their chairs back to their normal spots, as I sit there with a sigh on my face. I then get a small piece of sticky notepaper on the corner of my desk. I grabbed it and looked through it.
Meet me during lunch
I look back to Cadance, as she gives me half a smile. I scoffed and crumpled the note up. I placed it in my backpack pocket and waited for our next objective, as Miss Cheerilee began taking papers one-by-one.
"Today were are going to read chapter four and possibly chapter five if there's time," said Miss Cheerilee, as she takes my paper.
I grab my book and opened to chapter four.
The lunch bell rings, as everyone begins packing up for lunch.
"Okay everyone," said Miss Cheerilee, "you're homework tonight is to read the rest of chapter five. This Friday we'll have a test on chapters one through six, 'Kay?"
Everyone packed their things, including Cadance, as she walks out of the classroom, but was stopped by Miss Cheerilee.
"Miss Cadance," said Miss Cheerilee, "have a good lunch."
"Thanks Miss Cheerilee," said Cadance, as she walked out of the classroom.
I wave to Miss Cheerilee as I made my way out of the classroom. As I went through the door, Cadance was leaning against the lockers. I walk up to her, as she smiled to me.
"Like to hang out?" asked Cadance.
"No thanks," I said, as I walked past her, "find someone else to hang out with."
"What's your problem?" asked Cadance, as she catches up to me.
"My problem? It's just that you keep on being nice with me and you now want to hang out with me? Go find someone who won't ruin your image. There's plenty of guys you can flirt with besides me."
"I don't care what they say about us," said Cadance, making me stop, "you just seem like a person who deserves a friend."
"I don't have any friends and I especially don't need you. I'm going to say this one more time, 'stay away from me'."
Cadance gives me a frown, before I faced forward and headed towards the cafeteria. As I entered, I waited in line and waited for my lunch.
"What's with that Cadance girl," I thought to myself, "why is she so nice to me? Is she trying to pretend on being nice to me? I bet that's it. I bet she's a back stabber."
As I continued to wait in line, I couldn't get Cadance out of my mind. No matter how much I push her out of my mind, she keeps on coming up. I shouldn't fall for her beauty; I bet she's as nasty as Chrysalis or maybe even worse. I bet Chrysalis would become friends with that slut and eventually make my high school life even worse than it is now. I gotta stay away from Cadance.
My turn came up, as I paid my lunch and walked over to the usual table that I sit alone in. as I made my way, someone tripped me, making me fall to the floor and splattering milk all over my jacket and face, along with PB&J. Everyone laughed, as I gave out a grunt. I turn my head behind me and see Chrysalis looking down at me with her usual wicked smirk.
"Oops," said Chrysalis sarcastically, "I didn't see where I was going. Need a hand?"
I look to her hand, then back up to her face. I gritted my teeth and swatted her hand. She reels her hand back to me and looks down at me with a posed off look. She reaches down to the neck on my jacket and pulls me up.
"How dare you slap my hand, you little shit," said Chrysalis, as she slaps me across the face.
She then pushes me, but I luckily was still able to stand on my legs with the support of the side of the table.
"If you do that again, I will take you to my place and whip you like a little slut."
"It won't happen again, Chrysalis," I apologized, "I'm sorry."
"I think you deserve another slap," said Chrysalis, as she raises her hand.
I closed my eyes and waited for the smack on my face, but nothing happened. I opened my eyes and was surprised to see Cadance gripping hard onto Chrysalis's hand.
"That's enough, Chrysalis," said Cadance.
"Cadance?! You're here?!" said Chrysalis with surprise.
Cadance lets go of her hand, as Chrysalis takes a few steps away from us. She looks over to me and hisses, then looks back to Cadance.
"I'll let you go with this one, you little shit," said Chrysalis, as she looks over to me, "don't expect to be saved by her all the time."
And just like that, Chrysalis walks away, leaving Cadance and I to ourselves. She looks over to me, as I grabbed the mess and started picking up everything and throwing them into the garbage.
"Here," said Cadance, as she takes my lunch tray, "I'll go put this away."
I handed her the tray, as she walks over to the lunch lady. I look back towards the rest of the cafeteria as some students saw the incident, some muttered, and some laughed at the mess on my jacket. I rushed over to my usual spot and placed my backpack in front of myself to avoid peoples gaze.
"I can't believe this has to happen on Cadance's first day," I thought to myself, "though, why would she help me? No one in this school would ever come up to me for protection."
I continued to think about that, until I look to my side and see Cadance walking towards me. She sits down beside me and opens her backpack. She rummages through her backpack and pulls some napkins.
"Here," said Cadance, as she hands over the napkins to me, "use these."
I take them from her hands and wiped off as much as I could. I look back to Cadance, as she pulls out a sandwich and scoots it over to me.
"Have it," said Cadance, "you look like you need something to eat."
Why? Why is she so nice to me? Never have I met anyone in this school that is willing to bug me for being a good person. I grab the napkins and threw them in the garbage on my right.
"Th-thank you," I said, as I grab the sandwich, but stopped.
"Go on," said Cadance, "Take it. You look like you could use it."
I take the sandwich and started taking a slow bite into it. It tasted really good, making me eat more of it.
"Th-thanks I guess," I said, as I place down the sandwich, "for this and for back there."
"Don't you worry," said Cadance, "Chrysalis is mean, but as long as you have me, you wouldn't need to worry."
"What are you saying?" I asked.
"I'm saying is that I will be your heroine for protection."
There was something about her that made something within me feel comfortable. Perhaps I was wrong to judge her; she isn't as bad as I thought she was. As I looked back to Cadance, she gasps and covers her mouth.
"Are you okay," asked Cadance, "you're crying."
I take my index finger and swiped my face and began to feel the tears running down my eyes. I give out a little gasp of surprise, as Cadance takes out a napkin from within her backpack.
"Here," said Cadance, as she hands me the napkin.
I began wiping my face and ended up throwing the napkin away. I look back to Cadance, as she patted my back.
"Why," I asked, "why are you so nice to me?"
"You need a friend," said Cadance, "why not be friends with me?"
A friend? It's been a while since I had actual friends to talk to. I began feeling more tears pouring down my cheeks and eventually came to a sob.
"Y-yes," I said tearfully, "let's b-be friends with you."
Cadance scoots up to me and patted my back until I began to feel better. When I finished, Cadance scoots a little away from me and smiles warmly.
"That's all I ever wanted to hear from you," said Cadance, "from this day forth, we are now friends."
"I guess so," I said, "are you being serious or are you joking?"
"I'm being serious."
What I did was very much unlike me; for the first time around high school besides home, I smiled. Cadance eyes widened a bit from the corners of my mouth going up.
"You seem happy to know that," she said.
"You are my actual first friend around this school actually."
"Really? You haven't had any friends around here until I showed up?"
"That's pretty much it."
"Do you hang out with anyone else? Do you have friends outside of school?"
"I do. They go to Crystal Prep though."
"Have you been seeing them?"
"Not really."
"Why not?"
"Because of Chrysalis. It's embarrassing to let them know that I get bullied by a girl."
"I doubt they'll make fun of you."
"You think so?"
"If they're your friends, they won't. They'll be by your side no matter what. Go talk to them."
"… Okay, I'll take your advice Cadance."
She smiled, as I continued eating the sandwich that Cadance gave me. She goes through her backpack and takes out a fruit snack, an apple and a bottle of vitamin water. As she opened her back of fruit snacks, she looks towards my thin arm, then back to me.
"Have you been eating very little?" asked Cadance.
"I can't cook," I said, "you see, I live with my cat Babu and all I eat for dinner are salad containers I buy from the store. There's plenty to eat at home, but I just don't feel hungry with them."
"You poor thing," said Cadance, "tell you what, after school, I'll take you to my apartment and make you a delicious dinner. Would you like that?"
"You would do that for me? I feel like a burden."
"Don't feel bad," said Cadance, as she pats my shoulder, "I'm willing to cook for you."
My cheeks began to feel warm; a girl is asking me to come to her place for dinner.
"I would love to, but I can't."
"Why's that?"
"Throughout this week, I have to stay after school and clean up with Mr. Discord."
"What happened? How did you get in trouble?"
"… It's because of Chrysalis. She poured water onto herself and handed me the water bottle before pretending to be embarrassed and calling me a pervert."
"How mean of her."
"She made principal Celestia believe her and that's why I have to clean up after school throughout the week."
"My aunt will believe anything a student lies about."
"Hold the phone," I said, as I scoot a few feet away from her, "y-y-you're p-principal Celestia's niece?"
"That's right," said Cadance, "don't you worry. If Chrysalis ever messes with you again, I'll make sure to tell it to my aunt."
"Well that makes me feel better," I said with a sigh of relief, "I worry if I anger you that you will tell your aunt on me."
"I want you to know that I am not gonna be a dictator of the school because my aunt is the principal, okay?"
"That makes me feel so much better too."
"So when do you get off?"
"Could you pick me up at six?"
"Of course. Dinner will be ready possibly by then."
"Then it's a plan. Thanks Cadance. I'm surprised to say this, but I'm glad to have met a friend around this school."
"I'm glad we met."
"I know I was a jerk before, but how about we start over?"
"Sure."
"Hi Cadance," I said, as I held my hand out to her, "my name is Eren."
"It's a pleasure to meet you Eren," said Cadance, as she shook my hand.
As our skin made contact, I was surprised to feel how soft her hand was. My cheeks began burning up again, as we broke the shake. We then continued eating more of our lunches together until the bell rang.
"All right," said Cadance, as the two of us began throwing out trash away and walking out of the cafeteria together, "I'll see you later."
"See you, Cadance," I said, as the two of us went our separate ways to our next classes.
"You seem to be in a good mood Eren," said Mr. Discord, as the two of us mopped around the lunchroom, "what happened?"
"Let's just say I made a friend around this school," I replied, as I dipped the mop into the bucket and went back to cleaning.
"What's his name?"
"Actually, it's a 'she'."
"Oh? Then what's 'her' name then?"
"Cadance," I said, as I began thinking back on her.
"Cadance? The new girl?"
"Yep."
"It's her first day and she became friends with you? How interesting. What's she like?"
"She's nice, she's smart and…"
"Pretty?" added Mr. Discord.
"Beautiful," I corrected.
"Looks like someone's in love. Am I right?"
"I'm not sure, but I think she's gonna be with someone else besides me who's far better looking."
"Who knows," said Mr. Discord, as he began cleaning the tables, "love works in mysterious ways. You may be with her or maybe not."
"Have you ever been in love, Mr. Discord?"
"Me? Well sorta."
"Really? Who?"
"The principal."
"Principal Celestia? You telling me that you have a crush on principal Celestia?"
"Why do you think I work here?"
"Well what if I told you that Cadance, Mr. Discord, is principal Celestia's niece."
"Really?! You lucky guy."
"Why don't you talk to principal Celestia?"
"I'm too nervous to talk to her."
"Look," I said, as I walked up to Mr. Discord, "if you're gonna make it with this woman, you need to learn to communicate with women. Play a dating simulator, that may work."
"A dating simulator? What the heck is that?"
"It's a game where you go up to girls and ask them out. A good one for you would be Hunie Pop ."
"Explain this Hunie Pop , please."
"It's a game where you date many women and you go on dates and even more."
"More ?"
"Exactly," I said with a wink.
"Ohhhhh," said Mr. Discord with realization.
"During the dating part, it's kinda like playing Bejewled . You do know what Bejewled is, right?"
"Of course I do. I have that on my phone."
"Then I think you'll do fine in that game. Tonight, I'll put the game file on an USB and I'll hand it to you tomorrow."
"Thanks, Eren."
"Your welcome, Discord."
"Say Eren."
"Yeah?"
"I'm surprised you are coming out of your shell."
"What do you mean?"
"When I see you around the school, you're always by yourself and you never talk much to other people. Ever since Cadance showed up, you and I have been having a good conversation."
"You think so?"
"Positive."
Now that he mentions it, I am becoming a bit of a socializer. I'm usually never talking to anyone around the school until Cadance showed up.
"I never realized it until now."
"Well now you have."
The two of us smiled and went back to work.
"We should be done in a bit," said Mr. Discord, "I have to get ready for the Big Bang Theory marathon."
"You watch the Big Bang Theory ?"
"Fluttershy told me about the show and I became a fan of it. Sheldon is my favorite character."
"I hear it's really good, but I don't watch it. I'm still waiting on the third season of The Strain ."
"You watch The Strain ? What a coincidence, I watch that too."
"Wow, there's something we both like in common."
"Okay, enough jibber jabber, let's finish this."
"Right," I said, as I went further away from Mr. Discord to clean up an area.
As I cleaned the area, I look through the window to see the sun setting in the distance.
"Thank you, God," I thought to myself, "thank you."

"See you tomorrow, Mr. Discord," I said, as I grab my backpack and headed my way towards the door.
"Go get her, tiger," said Mr. Discord, as he holds up a small flag with my name on it, along with a big foam hand.
I smiled back before heading out the doors. Down at the parking lot, Cadance waves up to me. I smiled and made my way down the stairs towards her and her pink SUV.
"Hop right in, Eren," said Cadance, as I made my way to my seat.
The both of us fastened our seat belts, as Cadance takes the handle above my backpack and tosses it to the backseat.
"That way you don't have to have it on your lap throughout the drive," said Cadance, as she puts the key into the ignition.
"Thanks for making me dinner, Cadance," I said, as Cadance pulls out of the parking space, "I'm very grateful."
"Anything for a friend," said Cadance, as she drives us out of the parking lot and away towards her place.
She then reaches for the radio and switches over to classic rock. That's unusual; most girls will listen to Lady Gaga or something else from today's musicians, but Cadance listens to this kind of music.
"Our next song will be a classic by the band Led Zeppelin ," said the radio DJ before the song came on.
Cadance starts bobbing her head to the song, as it continued. I stood there watching her as she did so. She then looks over to me and smiles.
"Like this song?" asked Cadance.
"I do, but I never knew a girl like you would listen to this kind of music," I replied.
"What? Did you think I was like those other girls that listen to Lady Gaga or whatever?"
"My God, you just read my mind."
The two of us laughed and went back to listening to the awesome song that is Ramble On .
"Say Cadance?"
"Yeah?"
"What other bands do you listen to?"
"Well, I love Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd , and some other artists."
"Holy shit," I thought to myself, "this girl loves the same music I like."
"Why ask?"
"Wow! You and I are totally friends. I love those bands too."
"Really?"
"Yep."
The two of us smiled before Cadance makes a stop at a stoplight. We waited for two minutes until the light went green, allowing Cadance to make a left. Up ahead was a place with apartments that was close by Canterlot square. Cadance goes into the parking lot and shuts off her car.
"We're here," said Cadance, as she and I exited the vehicle, "let's go get you something to eat."
We walked through the apartment and towards the stairs.
"I live up two floors," said Cadance, as the two of us walked up the stairs.
When we arrived at Cadance's door, Cadance takes her keys and unlocks the door.
"Home sweet home," said Cadance, as we walked in.
Cadance turns on the light, giving me a visual of her place. Inside looked quite fancy with the living room on the right side of the place, a dinner table on my left, a kitchen, and a hallway up ahead. The place smelled delicious to whatever Cadance was cooking.
"Here," said Cadance, as she comes from behind me and takes off my backpack and my jacket, "I'll go get this cleaned up. In the meantime, sit down in the living room. Make yourself at home."
Cadance walks away with my dirty jacket, as I walk into the living room and sat down on her pink leather couch. I grab the remote and turned on the TV. The TV turns on to the show Face Off , as Cadance walks in. I turn around and see her wearing a short pink shirt with the words 'POMF' written in large pink letters.
"Do you like Face Off ?" asked Cadance, as she makes her way towards the kitchen.
"Sure, I find it descent." I replied.
Cadance bends down for something in the cabinets, making me stare at her butt. I shook my head and looked back at the TV.
"Get it together," I thought to myself, "get those thoughts away from your mind."
I look back at Cadance, as pours in sauce into a steaming bowl and stirs it in.
"I wonder what she's cooking," I said to myself, as I went back to the program.
The smell coming from behind me was really making me hungry and wonder what she was cooking.
"Come get it," announced Cadance, as I turned off the TV and headed towards the table.
As I sat down, I looked down on Cadance's dish: beef stroganoff with a side of cooked carrots. Cadance sits across from me and smiles, as she rests her head on her hands.
"Dig in, Eren," she said, as I look down at her cooking.
I take a fork and stabbed right into the beef stroganoff. I take it to my mouth and gave it a few chews before my eyes lit up; this tasted delicious.
"My God," I said, "this is… delicious."
"I'm a pretty good cook. At least that's what my aunt says."
I continued eating the beef stroganoff and then went over to the steamed carrots, which also tasted good. I look back at Cadance, who sat there smiling at me as I continue eating. It's been a long time since I had cooking like this since my parents left me in charge of the house at the age of fifteen. Since then, all I ever ate was salad and not much else, until now. Now, I am eating a delicious meal from a girl I just made friends with in a day… is this… happiness I feel? As I became nearly done with eating the meal, I felt as though I want to cry not just because Cadance's cooking is good, but how good it is to have an actual full on dinner.
I place my fork into the now empty dish and wiped my mouth with a napkin to my side.
"I can tell you must've really liked it," said Cadance, as she got up from her chair and grabbed ahold of my plate.
"I really did," I responded, as I got off of the chair, "thanks Cadance."
"Anytime Eren," said Cadance, as she walks over with my empty plate and cleans it for me, "like to hang out a little longer or do you want to go?"
"I-I'd like to stay a bit longer," I responded, as I walked over to the couch and stood near the edge.
"Oh goodie," said Cadance, as she shuts off the sink water, "I was wondering if you'd like to watch the Big Bang Theory marathon."
"Hehehe, sure."
"What's so funny?" asked Cadance, as she puts away the dish into the dishwasher on her right.
"Mr. Discord told me earlier that he too is ready to watch the marathon."
"Really? Hahaha!"
The both of us got a good laugh, as Cadance takes a seat on the couch. She then looks up at me and pats the empty space for me.
"Sit down, don't be shy."
I sat down beside her, but not too close. Cadance grabs the remote and turns it to channel two.
"Oh shoot," said Cadance, "looks like we missed twenty minutes of it."
"It's okay," I said, "I don't mind missing one episode. It's not the end of the world or something."
"Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't be overreacting over missing one episode of a marathon."
As Cadance sat there beside me, I began to have this feeling that I never felt before. My heart pounds just from looking at her and that her kindness makes me feel happy. It's been a while since I had this sort of feeling since High School and now I'm beginning to have to those feelings again because of her. I now feel terrible of what I said earlier to her when we became partners and I really regret it. I was such a jerk to this nice girl who all she ever wanted was to become friends with me. I pushed her away so many times and yet, she continues to be friendly with me. Hell, a real friend would always stick up to another when he or she is bullied.
"Eren," said Cadance, getting my attention, "are you okay? You're crying."
"I am?" I said, as I began to feel liquid coming down my cheeks.
"Yes. What's up?"
I let out a sigh and look back to Cadance.
"Cadance," I said with a bit of sorrow in my voice, "I'm sorry for how I acted earlier when I kept on pushing you away. I was a real jerk. I just wanted to let you know that."
Cadance then scoots closer to me and gives me a hug. I hugged back, as more and more of my tears continue to pour.
"I forgive you," said Cadance softly in a motherly tone, "because we're friends now. I swear it."
"Th-thank (hic) y-you (hic)," I said between hiccups.
"You betcha," said Cadance, as she breaks the hug and goes into her pocket.
She pulls out a handkerchief and places it in my hand.
"Wipe your tears," said Cadance, "I can't stand to see a friend crying."
"Th-thanks again (hic)," I said, as I wiped the tears off of my face.
"May I ask," said Cadance, as she points to my almost cleared away black eye, "did Chrysalis do that?"
When she mentioned Chrysalis's name, I gripped hard onto the handkerchief and gritted my teeth.
"Yes," I said.
"You poor thing," said Cadance, "I can't believe you are the one who she now picks on."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"You see, Chrysalis and I are enemies too. Back in middle school, she took away my crush Shinning Armor. My heart was broken that I cried for three days and nights. Then one day, I snapped. It was during lunch time that I walked up to her and I had the confidence to actually punch her in the gut."
"You fought Chrysalis?!" I said with surprise.
"It was a horrible action on my part and she then fought me back. The lunchroom was crowded, as everyone saw us fighting one another. There were punches, kicks, and blood. I fought her as hard as I could and won the battle, but not the war."
"What happened next?"
"I was in detention for a whole month and Chrysalis was kicked out of the school for carrying a knife in her pocket, which she almost used on me during the fight."
"That was close."
"So how did you meet Chrysalis?"
Thinking back on that was horrible. She's much worse than she was when Cadance met her.
"Are you sure you like to know?" I asked.

It was to talk about, but I began telling her everything; the torture, the pain, the humiliation, and especially the rape. That's right, Chrysalis raped me in case you forgotten. How does she do it? Simple, she forces me to take a pill and it makes me pass out. When I come to, I always wake up on her bed tied down. I was cutoff, as Cadance places her hands on the sides of my head and leans up to my face to place a kiss on my cheek. And just like that, my suicidal thoughts dissipated and my worries were blown away.
"Don't ever say that," said Cadance, "you are not a waste of a human being. You are a someone. I don't like to loose a friend who's dear to me."
My eyes widen from her saying; she really does care for me. My surprised face went to a faint smile, as I gave Cadance a hug.
"I don't know where I would be without you Cadance," I said, as Cadance pats my back.
"You would be lost without me," said Cadance, as she makes me look at her eye-to-eye, "don't you ever say you're a waste of human being, Okay? You are a someone."
"I'm so glad I became friends with you Cadance," I said, as Cadance takes her thumbs and wipes the tears from my eyes.
"It's a pleasure to be friends with you, Eren."
The two of us had a moment of silence, until Cadance stood up from the couch and gave out a stretch.
"Looks like it's eight already," said Cadance, as she looks over to her clock, "care to stay a little longer?"
"S-sure."
"How about we have some ice cream."
"I would love some."
Cadance ruffles my hair and skips over to the freezer.
"Cadance sure is a nice girl," I thought to myself, as I watched her getting the ice cream, "I think… I'm in love."
"Say Eren," said Cadance, bringing me back to reality.
"Oh! Yes?"
"How about for lunch tomorrow, I'll make you something."
"Y-you would do that?"
"Sure, we're friends right?"
I smiled from afar and give her a thumbs up.
"I would love that."
She smiled back at me before continuing scooping up ice cream.
"Yep," I thought to myself again, "I am falling for her."
It was a beautiful Wednesday morning, as I rose from my bed. I look over to my left and see Babu lying on my side.
"Good morning, Babu," I said, as I scratched his head, making him purr, "today's gonna be a good one because Cadance is making me lunch."
I got out of bed and went to fetch my clothes for this day; I chose a Led Zeppelin shirt, a jacket that was cleaned over at Cadance's yesterday, some socks, etc. I got myself washed, shaved my face, brushed my teeth and skipped into the kitchen where I began making my breakfast.
"I wonder what Cadance's gonna make for lunch," I said to myself, as I poured milk into the cereal, "I guess I'll have to find out during lunch."
I take my bowl and walked into the living room where I sat down on the couch and turned on the TV. I switch it over to the news channel and they say it's about to be a cloudy day with a chance of possible rain by six.
"Looks like I'll have to bring an umbrella," I said to myself, as I took a bite into my bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
I then grabbed the remote and switched it over to HBO, where they were playing Dawn of the Planet of the Apes . As I sat on the couch eating, my mind drifted off and I thought about Cadance. I was day dreaming of Cadance waiting for me to come to her. She smiles heartwarmingly and pulls out a bento box.
"Hey Eren," she says in an elegant voice, "come sit with me. I made us something delicious."
I sat by her, as she opens up her bento box, which was full of white rice, carrots, and peas.
"It looks good," I said, making her giggle.
"That's good to know," she said, as she takes out large spoon and dips it into the rice.
She pulls it up holding a spoonful with her hand under it in case little grains fall down.
"Say 'ah'," said Cadance, as she brings the spoonful close to me.
I open my mouth, as she pops the spoonful into my mouth then pulls it out slowly. The taste from her rice was so good, I gave out a moan of deliciousness.
"This is amazing Cadance," I said, as I gulped it down.
"Hehehe, you got a little of rice on your cheek," said Cadance, as she takes her finger and wipes the rice from my cheek, making me blush.
"Thanks, Cady."
"Cady?"
"Mind if I give you a nickname?"
"Anything to make my friend happy."
The two of us laughed and it went silent for five seconds until Cadance gave out a blush.
"Say Eren," said Cadance, as she fidgets with her fingers.
"Yeah Cady?"
"There's something you should know."
"Yes?"
Cadance looked at me deep into my eyes and grasps my hands.
"I... I- MEOW!"
I was brought back to reality, as Babu paws against my elbow.
"What's up, Babu?" I asked.
I then looked up to the clock and notice that the clock said 7:21 AM. I gasped and hurriedly ate as quick as I could and began packing my things to school. Before I left, I had to feed Babu by giving him his usual wet cat food. I don't know why, but I felt like giving Miss Cheerilee an apple, so I grabbed a red apple and rushed towards the door.
"See you later, Babu," I said before leaving the house.
It was finally English class, as I walked in happily and handed Miss Cheerilee the apple.
"Why thank you, Eren," said Cheerilee, as she placed it in front of her.
"Your welcome, teach," I said, as I made my way towards my seat, where Cadance waved to me.
"Hey Eren," said Cadance, "what's up with you? You seem to be in a good mood."
"I'm just excited for what you made for lunch," I replied.
"Ah~" said Cadance, as she nods her head.
I walk into the cafeteria and looked around for Cadance, making me excited for what she has in store for me. I looked over towards where I usually sit and see Cadance waving to get my attention. I smiled and walked over towards our spot and sat down on her right.
"You hungry?" asked Cadance, as she pulls out a small try wrapped in plastic.
I looked through the plastic and see warm, but normal temperature pasta.
"Pasta?" I asked.
"It is," said Cadance, as she pulls off the plastic and throws it towards the trash at the end of the table.
The smell hit me, as I gave in a large inhale.
"What's in it," I asked, as Cadance pulls out a fork.
"It's weird to say," said Cadance, as she sticks the fork in the pasta, "but its pasta with garlic."
"Garlic?"
"Yeah," said Cadance, as she scratches the back of her head, "auntie made this for me when I was eight and it tasted delicious. Try it."
I take the spoon from her soft hand, as I gave the pasta a twirl. I pull it up and got a descent amount of pasta and placed it gently into my mouth. My eyes lit up; she wasn't joking. This pasta tastes really good.
"Mmm," I said, as I chewed.
"Well?" said Cadance, as I swallowed.
"This is delicious," I said, as I gave another twirl of pasta.
"I'm glad I gave it all my best," said Cadance, as she made a fist of victory, "this was my first time making it and Im glad I did it right."
I gulped down another forkful and gave Cadance a thumb up.
"Cadance," I said, as my cheeks began to feel warm.
"Yeah?"
"Someday you'll make a great wife to however man you like."
Cadance gives out a deep flush and places her hands on her cheeks.
"Y-you think so?" asked Cadance.
"You're good at cooking and you're a nice person. You'll be great as a little wifey-wife."
"Y-you're just s-saying that."
"I mean it, Cadance."
"Y-you're so sweet," said Cadance, as she looks at me in the eye.
"You're as sweet as candy," I said, making Cadance's face go red as a cherry.
"S-sweeter."
The two of us had a silent moment, until I continued eating her pasta. As I ate, she takes out a sandwich and eats it slowly.
"It was so nice of her to make me dinner yesterday," I thought to myself, as I ate, "perhaps some time I should invite Cadance over to my place. She'd love Babu."
"Eren?" said Cadance, getting my attention.
"Y-yes?"
"What were you thinking about?"
"I was wondering," I said, as my face felt warm, "d-do you like cats?"
"Yes I do. Why ask that?"
"I have a cat named Babu."
"Babu? What kind of name is that?"
"I named him after the zombie cat from Sankarea
"Sankarea ? What's that about?"
"It's about this boy who meets a girl named Rea Sanka after hearing her babble down a well. Chihiro, the boy is a total zombie nerd and Rea is the daughter of a rich family. Her father is overprotective and he always takes things away from her such as friends and other things. Chihiro lives a happy life with his father who's a priest, a young sister named Mero, his grandfather and Babu who was a stray cat they found. The only downside was Chihiro's mother passed away when he was young and could barely remember her. There's also Ranko, Chihiro's cousin who lives not far away from the family as well."
"How did Babu die?" asked Cadance.
"He was hit by a car," I explained, "he was hit by an old man Chihiro knew since he was a kid. He didn't want to rage at the guy, instead all he could do was cry. Babu's death was awful, but Chihiro got a crazy idea. He found an old book and there's a page that explains that there's a way to animate the dead. This was when he got to put in his love for zombies to the test. There's more to it, but I'll leave it there."
"Sounds creepy, yet interesting."
The two of us began to talk to one another, until I noticed Pinkie passing by us. I bet she doesn't want to talk to me after that outburst from before, but I had to make things right again.
"Pinkie," I said, as I stood up from my seat, "I want to tell you something."
Pinkie stops and rushes back towards me.
"Yes?" she said with a mix of happy and sad.
"I want to apologize from my outburst from before," I said, as I held out my hand to her, "I'm sorry."
Pinkie smiled and shakes my hand.
"Apology accepted," said Pinkie, as the two of us let go of one another's hand.
The two of us waved to one another, before I sat down, as Pinkie hops towards her friends.
"What was all that about?" asked Cadance.
"I wanted to make things right," I said, making Cadance smile.
"You seem different than before."
"How so?"
"At first, you seem like the guy who was sad, lonely and unapproachable. Ever since I became friends with you, you seem a lot different. I think being your friend is changing you, isn't it."
"I guess... friendship is magic?"
"That's sounds swell," said Cadance, as she pats my back.
Suddenly, the lunch bell rings and everyone, including Cadance and I began putting things away.
"I'll see you tomorrow or at least before you go work with Mr. Discord," said Cadance, as she throws away her garbage.
"See you then, Cadance."
"Before you go," said Cadance, as she pulls out a small piece of paper and hands it to me, "have this."
"What is it," I asked, as I grab the small piece of paper.
"It has both my home and cell number," said Cadance, as she throws her backpack over her shoulders.
"Thanks Cadance, I said, as I popped the piece of paper into my pocket.
"See you later," said Cadance, as I walked with her out the cafeteria doors.
"See ya," I replied.
I scrub the floors merrily, as my mind thought back on Cadance.
"Um, Eren," said Mr. Discord, getting my attention.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"Why are you so... merry?"
"I'm having a good day," I replied, as I went back to scrubbing, "Cadance made a good lunch and I haven't been bullied by Chrysalis today."
"Sounds like a good day," said Mr. Discord, as he places the mop into the bucket of water and soap.
"You were also right."
"Huh?" said Mr. Discord, as he places the wet mop down onto the floor.
"Eren," said a female voice, making Mr. Discord and I stop our cleaning.
It was principal Celestia. Why is she here? Shouldn't she be gone already? She walks over to me and taps her foot. I don't know why she would be angry with me; I haven't done anything wrong.
"Y-yes principal Celestia," I said, "can I help you?"
"I want you to take the day off. I want to talk to you."
"I got you, Eren," said Mr. Discord as he walks up and takes my mop.
"How has he been with you for the last three days, Mr. Discord?"
"He is quite the entertainment," said Mr. Discord, "he and I have great conversations during our work. He's quite helpful."
"That's wonderful to hear," said principal Celestia with a smile, "say Mr. Discord, care to have some coffee with me and the other teachers tomorrow morning?"
"That sounds splendid. I'll make sure to be there."
"Say Principal Celestia," I said, getting her attention.
"Yes Eren?"
"I know this would sound... weird I guess, but do you mind if I work with Mr. Discord every week?"
"You would do that?" said principal Celestia with surprise.
"I do. Hanging out with Mr. Discord is quite fun. I'll do it for free."
"Then it's settled. I'm glad to hear that."
"See you tomorrow, Mr. Discord," I said, as principal Celestia and I exited the cafeteria.
"Adios," said Mr. Discord before the doors shut.
Principal Celestia and I walked through the halls and exited the building. I continued to follow her and we eventually stopped by her car. She opens it and looks up to me from the other side.
"Get in," she said, as I opened the car door and at down.
"Care to know why I have you in here," asked principal Celestia, as she shuts the door.
"Is it... because I'm friends with your niece? If you don't like our friendship, I'll gladly be away from her."
"No! Don't! I'm glad you are friends with her," said principal Celestia with a smile, "she's told me a lot about you. I'm glad you are out of your shell."
"She has?" I asked.
"Of course, she is my niece after all. I'm like her mother."
"If it's not a bother, what happened to her mother?" I asked, "she never told me about her parents. If this question is too inappropriate of me, you don't have to answer."
Principal Celestia shuts her eyes and gives out a sharp inhale.
"Her mother passed away after giving birth to her," said principal Celestia, "as for the father, he died in a car crash when Cadance was at the age of three. She was left in my care, along with my sister as well."
"I'm sorry to hear," I said, as I looked away.
"Eren," said principal Celestia, as she places a hand on my shoulder, "I'm glad you made friends with her. I haven't heard her sound that happy in so long and it's because of your friendship with her that made her this way."
"She was... somewhat depressed?"
"You can say. She was happy, but I can tell deep down that after hearing the truth about her parents, she seemed down and she bottles up her sadness."
"... I must admit, it's good being friends with her. For you principal Celestia, I want her to be happy."
"You are a good person, Eren. I can trust you."
"Well, I'll get out of your hair," I said, as I place my hand on the door handle.
"Wait," said principal Celestia, making me stop my action.
"Yes?"
"I wouldn't mind if you dated her," said principal Celestia with a wink.
"Wh-what do you m-mean?" I asked with a blush.
"She told me about you and she even told me today that you said she can be a great house wife. Is that true?"
"Y-yes."
"You are such a charmer," giggled principal Celestia.
"I-uh-I wanted to be nice to her," I said, as I looked away from her, "she's a sweet lady and she's my new friend."
"That's sweet of you. Are you two doing anything soon?"
"W-well... do you mind if she can come over to my house? N-nothing inappropriate. I told her about my cat and that she would love to see him."
"It's not my decision. It's her decision. She's eighteen now and she can make her own decisions. If she wants to go, then she can go."
"Got it."
"Alrighty then, I'll see you tomorrow. Have a good afternoon, Eren."
"See you tomorrow," I said, as I exited the vehicle.
Principal Celestia drives away, as I walk down the road towards home. I have to go feed Babu.
As I made it to my block, I was frightened to see Chrysalis standing at my doorway, as she texts on her phone. She then spots me and shuts her phone.
"Well, well, well," said Chrysalis, as she looked at me with an evil smirk, "look who made it."
"Wh-what do you want Chrysalis?" I asked, as I pulled out my phone.
"Put that fucking phone back," said Chrysalis, as she pulls out her knife, "you take out your phone and call 911, I'll stab you right here and now."
I obeyed and placed my phone back into my pocket, as Chrysalis did the same by putting her knife away.
"Good boy," said Chrysalis, as she walks up to me.
My body was frozen stiff, as she places her hands gently on my shoulders and goes behind me.
"W-why are you here?" I asked.
"I couldn't find someone to fuck, so you know what that means," said Chrysalis, making my body quiver.
"I-is it?"
Chrysalis breathes into my ear and sticks her tongue out, giving my ear a lick.
"I'm gonna fuck you crazy," she whispered into my ear.
"N-no," I said, as I pushed her away.
Chrysalis falls to the ground, as I rushed to my door and pulled out my key. Chrysalis rushes towards me, as I turn the door knob. I rush in and shut the door immediately behind myself. Chrysalis bangs on the door, as I reach for the lock on the door knob. It clicks, as the banging continues to go down.
"Let me in, you little shit!" shouted Chrysalis.
"F-fuck off," I shouted back.
The banging stopped, making me slowly let go of the doorknob. I peek through the peephole and see Chrysalis walking away with a balled up fist. I give out a sigh and slump down.
"I-I can't believe I said that to her," I thought to myself, "that's so unlike me? Did I suddenly grow a pair?"
It's lunchtime, as Cadance and I pack my things. Unlike before, I'm feeling more skittish than usual after pushing Chrysalis yesterday. Cadance and I walked out of the room, as I glance quickly back and forth.
"Eren," said Cadance, as she taps my shoulder.
"Oh! Y-yes?" I said, as I glanced quickly back at her.
"You seem worried. Did something happen yesterday?"
The two of us walked into the cafeteria, as I walked over to the lunch line.
"I'll tell you in a bit, 'Kay," I said, as Cadance, walked over to our usual spot.
I waited in line and began to think more on my action last night.
"I can't believe I pushed Chrysalis," I thought to myself, as I began to hear the sound of my heart beating, "she's gonna kill me when I least expect it. If so, I must be on guard."
I walked towards Cadance and sat down with a tray of salad, an apple, and a thing of milk.
"So tell me what's up," asked Cadance, as she taps her finger on her glass of milk.
"It's Chrysalis," I said with a sigh, "as I walked home, Chrysalis stood at my door and wanted to have sex with me because she couldn't find a guy to bang."
"Is that it?"
"There's more," I said, as I give out another exhale, "I pushed her and rushed inside my house and locked the door."
"You pushed her?"
"It was the only way of getting away from her. Ever since, I've been skittish, as you've noticed."
Cadance smiled and pats my back softly.
"Don't worry," said Cadance softly, "I'm here. I'd also like to come to your house tonight. I'll make you something and I'd love to see Babu."
"Y-you'd like to come? Tonight?"
"Don't mind. I don't have that much going on with my classes anyway."
"Heh. Me too."
The two of us ate, as the room was filled with noises of students talking, playing their music, or something random. I look back at Cadance, as she sips her carton of milk.
"Say Cadance," I said, as I cleared my throat.
"Yes?" said Cadance, as she puts her carton down.
"I talked to your aunt yesterday after school."
"And?"
"She says she's very proud of me being your friend."
Cadance smiled, then gives me a hug.
"You really have changed my life. I should confess something to you..."
"Is it that you've been somewhat depressed for a while?"
"How did... you know?"
"Your aunt told me about your parents. Sorry I brought it up."
"Don't worry, Eren. I'll keep those memories within my heart."
"C-cadance," I said, as my cheeks began to feel warm, "I also have to ask something, but I think it's too early."
"What is it? You can tell me."
My face felt ever so warmer, but I pulled through. I take her hands and look at her eye-to-eye.
"C-cadance," I said in a serious tone, "I'm... I think I'm... in... love with you."
Cadance gives out a slight gasp, along with a blush. I let go of her hands, beginning to feel as though I screwed up. I look away from her and sat there sulking. I then felt Cadance moving close to me, as I could feel the warmth of her body on my left side. She takes her right arm and wraps it around me. She takes her head and gently places it on my shoulders, making my heart beat quickly.
"Is it true?" asked Cadance softly.
"Y-yes," I replied, "you are the sweetest girl I ever knew around this school, including Pinkie. Because of your kindness towards me, I started having feelings for you. Plus, you're as beautiful as Aphrodite."
"You think I'm that beautiful?"
"You are the prettiest woman I ever met, Cadance. Another thing you should know is that before I met you, I prayed to God that I'll have an angel by my side to protect me and that angel...is you."
Cadance looks up to me with a heartwarming smile and gives me a kiss on the cheek, making the hairs on the back of my head stand up.
"You are such a sweet person, Eren. You know what, I too am falling in love with you."
I gently grab her left hand, making both our hands intertwine. My face began to feel ever so hot, as I could feel a bead of sweat going down my forehead. I never knew being in love can feel this good. Feeling our hands intertwined felt like a serious bond; a bond that can't be broken.
"You okay, Eren?" asked Cadance, as she places a hand on my forehead, "you feel hot. Do you want some water?"
"I would love some please," I asked, as Cadance breaks the bond and stands up.
"I'll be back sweetie," she said, as she leans down and gives me a kiss on the forehead, making my body go stiff.
She skips her way happily towards the line, as I sat there with dreamy eyes. Suddenly, I felt a hand grab behind my head and was pushed downward into the salad hard. I tried to push up, but whoever was grabbing my head kept me deep within the salad, as my face began to get smothered by dressing.
"You left me horny yesterday, you little fuck," said an all too familiar female voice.
"Chrysalis," I thought to myself with surprise, "I knew she would come out from the shadows."
I pushed back again, as my head gets released from Chrysalis's grip. I look towards Chrysalis, as my face drips with salad dressing.
"Why are you hanging out with that harlot as well?" asked Chrysalis, as she leans down and places her hands at the end of the table.
"Sh-she's my friend and I-"
"Like her?" said Chrysalis, cutting me off, "listen up, I am your bitch and you belong to me. You do as I say, you fuck me when I want you to, you will kiss me when I ask you to kiss me."
"W-well... I already kissed her."
Chrysalis narrowed her eyes, as she raises a hand and slaps my face. My cheek stung, but I kept a straight face.
"How did she kiss you?"
"It was small."
"Wipe your face, you turd," said Chrysalis, as she grabs my napkin and rubs my face hard to get rid of the dressing.
She then throws away the napkin and grabs me by the collar, pulling me up close to her face.
"This is how a woman kisses," said Chrysalis before kissing me hard, making me unable to breathe.
I struggled to free myself, but Chrysalis had me in a vice grip. She begins sliding her tongue deep within my mouth, as it slides all around like a wiggling snake or worm. I wanted to gag; I didn't want to be violated during school hours. I picked up my courage and with all my might, pushed Chrysalis away from me. She nearly slips to the floor, as she breathed as heavily as I am. I spit out her saliva and wiped my mouth with the side of my arm.
"Fuck you," breathed out Chrysalis, as she stood up, "I'll get you for this, dipshit. I'll get you my love toy and your girlfriend too."
She walked away with a creepy smirk, as I sat back down. I looked around and to my surprise, no one saw that.
"I'm back, Eren," said Cadance, as she places a bottle of water in front of me.
"Th-thanks C-cadance," I said, as I began twisting the top off.
"Um... Eren?"
"Yeah?"
"Why is your mouth smothered with green lipstick?"
"Oh... Chrysalis was here," I said, as I tried to wipe off the lipstick from my mouth with the side of my hand.
"What did that monster ask?" asked Cadance, as she reaches into her backpack and pulls out a napkin.
"She wanted to know if we kissed and I said we did," I explained, "she forced a kiss on me and I pushed her away. She now says she'll get us."
"Ignore her," said Cadance, as she wipes my mouth gently, "she won't get us."
Hearing those words from her made me feel comfortable again; she always seems to calm me down.
"Thanks for that," I said, as Cadance throws the napkin away.
"Anytime," she said, as she and I ate silently together.
I was still worried about what Chrysalis will do to us once she catches us.
The final bell rings, as I go over to Mr. Discord to help him clean up the cafeteria. I grab my mop and made my way towards the cafeteria. I go through the doors, as Mr. Discord smiles and waves his hand.
"Hey there, Eren," said Mr. Discord, as I dump my mop into the water-filled bucket, "slaying any titans?"
"Hehehe, nice one," I said with a chuckle, "how's it going, Mushu?"
"Oh ha ha," laughed Mr. Discord sarcastically, "anyway, how's life been treating you?"
"Well," I said with a blush, "I fell in love with Cadance."
Mr. Discord drops his mop and stares at me blankly.
"What... did... you say?"
"I fell in love with Cadance," I repeated.
Mr. Discord's eyes shined, as he rushes towards me and gives me a tight hug.
"Well done, you charmer," said Mr. Discord happily, "well done!"
"Thanks Mr. Discord," I said, as Mr. Discord let's go of me.
"Does Miss Celestia know?"
"She does. She doesn't mind me being with her. She's quite happy about it."
"Who knows," said Mr. Discord, as he picks up his mop, "I may be with Miss Celestia some day. I would love to take her out."
"Mr. Discord," I said, as I continued cleaning the floors, "I think you should go up to principal Celestia and tell her."
"Tell her what?"
"Your true feelings for her. Just go up to her, take a deep breath, take a knee and confess your love to her. You got to be brave."
"I-I don't know. Are you sure it will work?"
"Mr. Discord, I have faith in you. You can do it. Look at me and Cadance."
"Okay... I'll try."
We smiled at one another before continuing to clean up the cafeteria.
Forty-five minutes later, Mr. Discord and I were done, as we put our things away.
"Okay Mr. Discord," I said, as I walked towards the exit, "see you tomorrow."
"See you then," said Mr. Discord from afar, "and thank you for the advice!"
The doors close behind me, as I walked down the steps and past the school's mascot. Suddenly, my mouth was covered by a cloth, making unable to breathe. I tried gasping for air, as I gripped onto the person's arm. Before I could pull away the arm away from me, I began to feel faint, as my vision blurred out.

I grunt and placed both earbuds and phone within my pocket. I grabbed my backpack and walked over to the teacher. I sat down on the chair beside her and placed my backpack on my lap.
"Is there something wrong, Miss Cheerille?" I asked.
"I want to talk to you about that black eye," said Cheerilee, "did someone slug you during school? What happened?"
I hesitated; I couldn't tell her, because if she knew I told on her, she'd kill me.
"I-I fell," I lied.
"I'm not that dum, Eren. Now tell me who did that to you?"
I was beginning to worry ever more; there's nothing I can say to fool her out of this. I had to make up something and fast.
"Okay, you got me. What really happened was yesterday, I was doing an afternoon jog and someone accidentally punched me. He apologized and told me that he was really fixated on boxing that he spaced out."
"Really? Well that makes me feel so much better. At least you weren't hurt by a bully."
"Nice talking to you, teach," I said, as I get up from the chair and grabbed my backpack.
"Have a good day, Eren," said Miss Cheerilee, as she waved me goodbye.
I walked out of the class and give out a sigh of relief.
"That was close," I thought to myself, "looks like she won't kill me after all."
You're probably wondering who this she is; good question: her name's Chrysalis. Chrysalis is a girl a year younger than me and she treats me like a slave, a plaything and a person to take her anger out on. When she first bullied me back freshman year, so many students laughed at me that I wanted to hide myself away from everybody. As much as I wanted to do that, I couldn't; all I could do was shun myself away from everyone and try to stay far away from Chrysalis as possible. No matter how much I try to avoid Chrysalis, I always end up coming across her and that's when the bullying happens. She would often hurt me, make fun of me being a coward, and she would even a couple of times take her sexual frustration out on me. That's right; during my senior year, she begins to have sex with many guys and when she couldn't find someone to have sex with, she comes for me. It's as though that slut feeds on love to make herself stay healthy.
As for my black eye, it happened yesterday when I told her that I don't have money in my pocket. Once a month, she'll find me and ask me for money to buy something for herself. I don't know what she buys and I don't give a shit. I bet they're condoms for the guys she has sex with. Anyway, I didn't have any cash on me and she got really pissed off. She told me not to speak a word about how she gave me the black eye or she'll legit kill me. To proof that she would, she has a knife in her pocket that she keeps for protection.
Now let me talk about myself; as you all know, my name is Eren. I'm a nineteen-year-old that goes to Canterlot High. I'm also a nerd and I love to collect certain books that are rare to find. Another thing I like to do is jog during weekend mornings. I live with Babu at my parents house; my parents themselves live elsewhere, but pay for everything for me to live by myself until I'm at the right age of getting a job and paying taxes myself by the age of twenty-one. Babu is my cat and he's been a friend with me since I was eight.
For a description of what I look like, I have black hair, green eyes, white skin, loves wearing shirts of bands I like (at the moment I'm wearing a shirt of Pink Floyd), I wear blue jeans, and I wear long socks.
I have such lovable parents, but my high school life is a nightmare.
I walk into the cafeteria and headed straight towards the lunch line to get my lunch.
"Hiya Eren," said a squeaky voice behind me.
I turn around and see an a familiar face: Pinkie Pie. From what I hear around the school, Pinkie is the one girl to make your day perfect and she has the best parties. She would sometimes come to me and try to talk, but I shun her away every time.
I ignore Pinkie and continue to wait in line.
"What's wrong, Eren," continued Pinkie, "cat got your tongue?"
"Shut up," I said Silently, as I grip my hands.
"Huh? What was that? I couldn't-"
"SHUT UP!" I shouted, making the cafeteria go silent.
Pinkie stopped talking and everyone started murmuring to one another. I ignored everyone and placed in my headphones to not hear their sayings. I continue my way along the line, as the lunch lady hands me a tray of a grilled cheese, an apple, and a juice.
"There you go, sonny," said the lunch lady, as I remove my earbuds to hear her out, "quite the commotion you did a minute ago."
"Sorry about that," I said, as I handed her my lunch money and rushed away from the line.
I walked over towards one of the empty tables at the end of the cafeteria. I sit down and placed my backpack beside me. I placed my earbuds back in my ears and grabbed ahold of my sandwich. I take a bite into it and from the corner of my eye, I notice Pinkie Pie jumping towards my direction.
"Damn," I thought to myself, as Pinkie sits across from me.
"What was that all about, Eren," asked Pinkie, "I just wanted to say hi to you. Why are you so cranky?"
"… Just go away, Pinkie," I replied before taking a bite into my sandwich, "I don't want to talk to you or anyone around this damn school."
"You shouldn't talk like that to someone who is trying to be nice to you," said Pinkie, "if you continue to act like that, you won't have any friends."
"I do have a friend FYI."
"You do? What his name?"
"My cat Babu."
"That sorta counts, but what about human friends?"
"My friends go to Crystal Prep," I explained, as I take my earbuds out and placed them in my backpack, along with my phone, "their names are Jared and Danny."
"Do you communicate with them?"
"I haven't since freshman year."
"Why's that?"
"Because they too will make fun of me like everyone around this school. I have a bully and she is a girl. Do you know how embarrassing it is to have a girl who is a year younger than you bullying you and making yourself look like a pussy?! I can't go to anyone to save me. If I do, she'll kill me."
"Who is this girl? Is it Chrysalis?"
"Yes."
"And I'm also taking a guess that she's responsible for hurting your poor little eye? What a meanie she is."
"I don't want you to mention this to anyone, please. If she found out, she'll kill me."
"Kill you? Nah, she's just threatening you."
"I'm serious. She has a knife in her pocket and she will stab me if I ever told anyone about this. I shouldn't even be mentioning this to you either. Just stay away from me or you'll get in the crossfire."
Pinkie looked horrified; she was legit scared for me.
"I think you should do something."
"Like what, Pinkie? If I told the principal, I'm dead. If I told the teacher, I'm dead. I'm too afraid of going up to the cops and telling them about this. I'm so scared that I can't be with anyone. I feel so alone that I might as well be off dead."
"… Eren, you really need to take-"
"Just go away."
"Eren, I just want to-"
"JUST GO AWAY! LEAVE ME ALONE! I DON'T NEED FRIENDS AND I DON'T NEED YOU!"
Pinkie's hair went from frizzy to slick, as it falls down. Pinkie gives me a frown and grabs her things before walking away.
"I'm sorry for bothering you, Eren," said Pinkie, as she walks away.
I was alone again and I can finally eat my lunch in peace or so I thought. I noticed further ahead from where I was, is Chrysalis heading towards me with an evil smirk upon her face. She walks up to me wearing short shorts, a short sleeved shirt, her hair is in a ponytail, a crown pin in her hair, and was wearing green lipstick.
My body felt cold, as she drew closer towards me. My body shook, my teeth chattered, and I gave out a little of sweat.
"Fuck," I thought to myself, "does she know? What does she want?"
Chrysalis sits down beside me and looks to me with a devious smile that made my skin crawl. I was so scared that I dropped my sandwich.
"Hey there, Eren," said Chrysalis, "what was up with you and Pinkie?"
"It was nothing, Chr-"
"You wouldn't happen to be talking about how you got the black eye, did you?"
"No! I never told her! I swear!"
"Good boy," said Chrysalis, as she pats my head.
I went back to eating my sandwich, as she too ate beside me. As I sat there, I then notice Chrysalis taking out her water bottle and opening it. She looks over to me and smirks.
"Sure is hot in here," said Chrysalis, as she takes her finger and pulls the neck of her shirt.
I nearly chocked as she was showing off a bit of her breasts. She takes the open water bottle and pours it down slowly onto her, making herself get wet on purpose. I stood there shocked, as she continued to do so. She then stops pouring water on herself and hands over the water bottle to me.
"Hold this for a second," she said, as she takes my hand and places the nearly empty water bottle on my hand.
She then stands up and takes a deep inhale.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" shouts Chrysalis at the top of her lungs, "pervert!"
I looked over to the other students, as they looked over to me with shock. I look over to the water bottle and dropped it. I looked over to Chrysalis, as she runs away from me pretending to cry out of embarrassment. She runs up towards the cafeteria doors, where principal Celestia made it just in time. Chrysalis runs up to her and pretends to cry.
"What's going on here," asked Celestia.
"Principal Celestia," said Chrysalis with a wet shirt that showed off her bra, "Eren was being a pervert and dumped his water bottle over me!"
"Is this true?"
"It is," said Shining Armor, as he stood up from his seat, "I saw him holding the bottle the moment she shrieked."
"I did too," said a girl.
Many voices were agreeing with one another, making ever so embarrassed. I immediately grabbed my backpack and hid myself behind it. I can't stand to see people pointing at me. My heart was beating so fast; I never expected Chrysalis to go this far on bullying me.
"What a bitch," I thought to myself, as I grit my teeth, "someday that slut will pay. I want her to suffer the way she did to me."
As I hid myself behind my backpack, I heard the sound of footsteps coming from behind me. I then felt a tap on my shoulder, ordering me to look back. I turn around and see principal looking down at me with a disgusted look.
"In my office," said principal Celestia, as she pointed towards the cafeteria doors, "now."
I grab my backpack and left my lunch by itself. As I made it past Chrysalis, she gives me a wink and sticks out her tongue. I give her an angry look, but didn't rage. Instead, I grunted and left the lunchroom pissed off.
"What you did, was inappropriate," said principal Celestia, as I sat in front of her desk, "as punishment, you are to clean the lunch room after school throughout this week. Your parents will get a call about this as well."
"Principal Celestia," I said, "Please listen! Chrysalis splashed herself with water! It wasn't me who did it!"
"Then how come most of the students say that you were holding onto the water bottle? Care to tell?"
"She told me to hold onto it before she screamed."
"That's a load of rubbish! Enough excuses. Starting today, you are to report to janitor Discord and asking him to get you started on cleaning the lunchroom. Do I make myself clear?"
"But principal Cele-"
"Do. I make. Myself. Clear?"
"… Yes, ma'am."
"Good," said principal Celestia, as she takes a slip and writes on it, "since you are late to your next period, I want you to give this slip to your teacher."
She hands me the slip and I exited the office. As the door closes behind me, I stood there and gritted my teeth and gripped onto the slip, making it crinkle.
"Chrysalis," I thought to myself, "I hope you rot in hell."
The final bell rings, as everyone began crowding the hallway towards the exit doors. As I made my way towards the janitor's quarters, I felt a punch on my left arm. I grunted and looks over to see Chrysalis by my side wearing a jacket.
"So what is the pervert doing for punishment?" asked Chrysalis, "be glad I have this jacket to walk out of this school without dorks like you to see or I'll have to give you a lesson."
"I'm to clean the lunchroom everyday this past week," I replied.
"Really? That seems perfect."
"It would be perfect if you did it, you fucking bitch" I thought to myself.
"See you tomorrow, dipshit," said Chrysalis, "I'm gonna fuck this guy's brains out."
The two of us went separate ways, as I made my way past the principal's office. I stopped and stomped the floor.
"I hope this guy gives you a sex disease, you slut," I thought to myself before I continued towards the janitors office.
I made it towards the janitor's office and gave it a few knocks.
"Mr. Discord," I said, "it's Eren."
I heard a few steps before the door was opening and Mr. Discord standing in front of me. He wore his usual janitor clothing, his eyes still looked crazy as usual and he still has that beard. Seriously, I think he should shave that thing off and trim his eyebrows.
"Well, well, well," said Mr. Discord, "a little birdie told me that you are to clean the lunchroom with me throughout this week as punishment."
From his left, he pulls out a toy bird and the bird itself gives out a few chirps. He laughs in his throat and throws the toy bird away.
"Before we get started, I have two friends I like you to meet."
"Who?" I asked.
"Say hello to Mr. Mop," said Mr. Discord, as he tossed me a mop and then a bucket, "and Mrs. Bucket. Hahahahahaha!"
I give out a sigh of frustration and grumbled.
"Oh, goodie," I said sarcastically, as Mr. Discord continued to laugh his ass off.
After cleaning for an hour with Mr. Discord, I walked home exhausted and pissed off. By the time I made it home, I went to my room and lied on my bed.
"When will my misery come to an end," I said to myself, as I looked up at my ceiling, "when will this nightmare end? I was set up, I get to clean up after school and hear Mr. Discord bullshit stories that I don't give a shit about. What can make this day any worse?"
Suddenly, my phone rings and I pull it out of my pocket. On the screen, I should've expected. It was Mom and dad; I bet they're furious. I press the call button and held the phone to my ear.
"Hello?" I responded with.
"EREN!" shouted mother through the phone, "WHAT THE HELL DID I HEAR ABOUT YOU BEING A PERVERT AT SCHOOL?!"
"Mom, I-"
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD DO SUCH AN ACT!"
"I was set up, mom."
"Hold on, your dad wants to talk to you."
I waited for five seconds until dad could pick up.
"Son, that is not correct," said father, "whatever the principal has you doing as punishment is good enough for me. If I were at home, I would slap you across the face."
"Dad, I was set up by Chrysalis," I explained, "she made me do it."
"I don't give a damn if it was all a ploy. Tonight, I want you to think about what you have done."
"I will dad," I said with a sigh.
"Talk to you tomorrow, son. Bye."
I hanged up and reached over to my desk where I set it down gently. I then grunted and began looking over to my pillow. I was so furious and began to punch non-stop on my pillow. I was so angry I wanted to take my anger out on something and the closest thing to do that was my pillow.
After punching my pillow for two more minutes, I was panting and then I became tired. I began to change into my PJs and walked out of my room towards the kitchen where I bought myself a thing of salad I bought from the store last week. I can't cook really; I tried a few times and I keep fucking things up. I'm a really bad cook and I feel as though I'm getting thinner each week.
I took the salad out of the fridge and walked into the living room and turned the TV on. I went through recordings and played episode four of One Punch Man . I ate silently, until Babu showed up from my right. He jumps onto the couch and sits beside me. I smiled and placed my salad down on the coffee table to pet him. I scratched his head, making him purr with glee. I then began petting him back and forth against his black fur, as he purred even louder.
"I may not have friends at Canterlot high," I said to Babu, "but at least I have you, Babu."
The cat smiled and began to curl into a ball against my side and closed his eyes. I petted him once more before I went back to both the episode and my salad.
"I wish I could have at least one friend at Canterlot High, but of course Chrysalis is bound to fuck things up."
I look out the window, as the stars shined brightly outside.
"Dear God, if you could, send down an angel to be by my side. Someone who could protect me from Chrysalis."
