Crash LandingView OnlineA Mare's Final HoursCrash Landing A bright, colorful rainbow shot across the sky like a longbow. Several streaks of it colored the pale blue sky. Young and old, weak and strong, looked up into the sky at the array of color. "Look, mom! It's a rainbow!" Fillies would shout. The creator of the rainbow, then did a loop in the air for her adoring fans below. She did back-flips, and decided to turn up her speed a bit. She sped through the clouds, the little water particles puffed and dissolved as she flew through them. A cone of speed surrounded her, as she flew faster and faster. The, the last noise she heard, was her friend Twilight. "Rainbow, stop!" CRASH! "She reviving. Nurse... c-call the doctor in, fast," a faint voice cried. Several sobs, and heavy breathing was all she heard after that. "It's gonna be okay, w-we're here... Dash," a familiar voice soothed. She dared to open her eyes, finding a lavender alicorn sobbing on the pegasus' white blanket. Four others stood there in worry, Fluttershy and Pinkie crying their hearts out. "It's okay... I'm.. going to be- ARGH!" She held her head in pain, then jerked back her hoof, stained in dark blood. Twilight began to panic, as she ran out the hospital room doors, calling desperately for a doctor. "I apologize, your highness, but there is nothing I can do," a doctor stated firmly. Twilight did not take that for an answer. She grasped him in her magic tightly, tears escaping her eyes. "I AM NOT TAKING THAT FOR AN ANSWER, MY FRIEND IS IN NEED!" She yelled. "I TOLD YOU,FOR CELESTIA'S SAKE, I CANT DO ANYTHING! ADMIT THIS FACT: YOUR FRIEND IS DYING!" At that, it hit the alicorn, who fainted on the spot. Apple Jack paced around the room, nervously waiting for help. Rarity attempting to calm Fluttershy and Pinkie, who were leaving puddles of salty water on the floor. "W-What is Rainbow Dash.... if she...." she trailed off, wiping tears from her eyes, looking over to the injured pegasus who sat in bed reading a Daring Do book. Pinkie hiccuped, looking over to her friend. Rainbow Dash, stared weakly at Pinkie, then her eyes fluttered, her head slipping down a bit. Pinkie watched in horror, afraid her friend was gone. She felt her heart shatter to millions of pieces, as she broke free of Rarity's grip. "Dashie, wake up! I know you're in there somewhere! Please wake up!" she cried, shaking up the cyan pegasus. Rarity ran over, grasping Pinkie by her back. "Don't shake her head up like that, you could do permanent damage!" "WHAT DO YOU KNOW?! YOUR BRAIN ALREADY HAS PERMANENT DAMAGE!" "WHY YOU LITTLE-" the two were cut off, as the doctor and the purple alicorn entered into the room. "I-I'm afraid there's some bad news, along with good," The doctor said quietly. Everypony's head, even Rainbow Dash's, shot up, facing him. Taking in a few breaths, he looked over the papers in hoof. "Well, Rainbow Dash has had an extreme blow to the head, damaging her skull, and other bones as well as her wings and her lungs. There is..... well..." his eyes welled with tears, as one dripped onto the note pad. "As of now... there is no sign of saving her. She has 48 hours left of her life, and after that, after all our research... she'll.... be gone... I-I'm so sorry..."
There's an Ending to Every RainbowView OnlineA Mare's Final HoursThere's an Ending to Every Rainbow The 5 ponies spent the night secretly in the hospital yard, waking up with the sun. "We're the first one's in girls! I can't wait to see Dashie!" Pinkie hollered, without haste, bursting through the hospital doors. "Wait, Pinkie! What if she-" Apple Jack stopped, as she saw the Pink earth pony stop, and turn towards her. They met glances, as Apple Jack cautiously trotted over to her. "I-I'm sorry, Pinkie, I... you heard Twi, she might not even make it.." Apple stopped again, as the Pink earth pony dropped the roses mindlessly. A rumble came up her throat, as she remained still. "Pinkie, please! Jus' stop, I- I said ah'm sorry!" She said, the rumbling grew louder by the second. As the others, made way inside the hospital, the Pink pony pounced onto the other, sinking her teeth into her ear. "PINKIE, STOP, I'M SORRY! I'M SO SO SORRY! MAKE IT STOP!" "Ah, yes.... um, Rainb- Oh, Rainbow Dash, s-she's in room 14," "Thank you, sir. Dare I ask, will she... will she make it?" "I'm afraid not, Miss Rarity," "Oh..... but, m-may we see her one l-last time. Please?" Rarity asked, as Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Twilight stood hopelessly, hanging their heads. They were lead to a room, half lit, with a horribly pale pegasus, head turned to the wall. "I'll miss you guys... every one of you," Rainbow tried, coughing. Twilight ran over to her side, holding her hoof in hope. "Rainbow Dash, don't you leave me... Don't leave us... You're special to all of us, and loosing you would be... a night mare," Twilight said, as Fluttershy joined by her side. One by one, the ponies, even the doctors and the nurses, joined by her side, cheering her on for her life. "Rainbow, don't go like this... I-I can't take loosing you. I cant let you end you life like this!" Fluttershy bawled. Rainbow, with the last energy she had left, said something she'd never forget. "Fluttershy, there's an ending.... to every rainbow,"

Final HoursView OnlineA Mare's Final HoursFinal Hours It had been a long, sad morning, but the mane six stayed calm, worried that stress would end her life sooner. Spike and Scootaloo had sent her flowers on a balloon that floated to her cloud. It was the most depressing of days, they had remembered so far. "Girls, check this out," Twilight had stated excitedly, ripping open a letter by her castle door. Dear friends/ family of Rainbow Jennifer Dash, We are proud to inform you that there may be a possibility of her surviving. A small, 1.5% Chance, I am afraid. If she does not make it, we will send an invitation to a funeral next week. On the other hoof, if she makes it, we will send her over stay at Sugar Cube Corner. Sincerely, Ponyville Blue Cross Hospital Team Pinkie's mane slightly poofed back up, from its flat stage before. The others looked in half excitement and worry. "DOES THAT MEAN DASHIE'S COMING BACK?!" Pinkie asked, her mane returning to it's natural form. Twilight winced, than levitated the letter. "It's not a fact, Pinkie. She might, and most likely won't. But... sometimes, i'm afraid, that we have to let it go," "Oh, Pinkie, don't start singing again, I'm just not in the mood. But Twilight's right. We won't be around forever, and one day... we'll all leave." All stared shocked at the shy filly who, sank down. "I must agree, Fluttershy does have a point. And if we give her as much love as she can take, it might just be the cure to bring our friend back," So, for the past few hours, the mares set plans with Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy and Rarity had made ice packs for her head. Fluttershy had borrowed some First-Aid kit used for her animals, and a technique for healing sores. "Are you alright, Rainbow?" she would ask every now and then. She would just mumble something and nod, but with care because of her head-ache. Rarity stared down with worry. "Are you SUUUURE these are enough cards?" Pinkie asked, carrying a stack of 'Get Well Soon' cards in her saddle bag. Twilight only nodded silently, as she lifted Pinkie onto her back, and flew off to the hospital. "You okay, Twi? You're usually not THIS quiet..." Pinkie hinted. Twilight sighed. "I'm fine... it's just that... well, don't tell anypony this, but.... she's the closest friend I have ever had, and seeing her large possibility of... going... is just heart breaking," she said under her breath, as Pinkie pet her mane soothingly. "Where ever she's going, if she does... I just hope she smiles,"
