“No Sweetie please!” sobs Apple Bloom as she embraced her friends cold form.”noooo..oh..oh..oh.mmmn..angh mmn..mmn..ng ahhmn ng” sobbed Apple Bloom her tears flowing like a sad and lonely stream.as she cries for her loss. as memories flood her mind.

(flashback) Apple Bloom is talking with Twilight at sugar cube corner "I'm sorry but I told you nothing can make a cutie mark appear before its time" said Twilight to the disappointed Apple Bloom.

"try again try again!" said Apple Bloom, in hopeful excitement. after Twilight had failed to make her cutie mark appear. Apple Bloom watches her flank patiently. : cart, of apples, pink and yellow kite, cupcakes, teddy bear,red tricycle, ..., ... ,... and with the last four tries her hope and enthusiasm left watching the last mark/three hoove balls\ disappear her joy had all but left her.

" it's no use nothing can make a cutie mark appear before its time," said Twilight after catching her breath.

"it's hopeless"- "it's hopeless!" said Apple Bloom disappointed and giving up as she starts walking "I jest won't go to the party, I can't go every pony will just laugh at me and make fun of me and call me names, it will be the worst night of my life!" said Apple Bloom as she sits down by the cashier and cake display counter.

"I'm sure it won't be that bad," said Twilight in an effort to cheer her up.

"forget it there no way I'm going to that .............." said Apple Bloom as she looks up and her eyes go wide with hore. -gulp- party" gulped Apple Bloom upon seeing where she was. and dashes behind a life-size chocolate pony. "how could I of forgotten the time how could I of forgotten Pinkie Pie was hosting the party!" she said while peeking out from her hiding spot. how could I of forgotten it was at sugar cube corner?" she asked herself.

"forgot your hat Fogerty forgetasin!" said Pinkie popping out of nowhere and party hating Apple Bloom.

"I have to git outa here before any pony sees me," said Apple Bloom as she zips behind different objects to keep out of sight. as Snails take's a chomper out of the cake on the table, she was hiding behind revealing her eyes and bow.

"hey!....... it's my cute Zinn Arai. I'm supposed to get the first bit of cake" complained Diamond Tiara as she walks grumpily over to Snails seeing her opportunity Apple Bloom darts. first to another table then onto a counter behind some balloons.

-pop. pop pop...pop pop- Apple Bloom looks nervously at her disappearing hiding spot as a dancing unicorn pops the balloons that concealed her. darting around a bit more she finds a table to hide under. "ok Apple Bloom almost there she tells herself as she peeks out and sees her exit.

lifting it up and tip-hoofing her way to the door one move stop wait, second move stop wait and no pony seemed to notice the table with a pink tablecloth merrily making it's way to the door. now in range Apple Bloom now smiling makes her way from under the table to the door. -hmph- she looks to see what n who she bumped into to find her sister walking in. "Apple Bloom ya mad it!" said A.J as she resumes walking pushing her sister back inside.

• 'why I was almost there!' screamed Apple Bloom internally as she tries to get around her rambling sister.-

"after I heard about twist I was afraid you wouldn't show up, sure am glad you came to your senses about this whole cutie mark business those things happen when there supposed to happen, trying to rush it will just drive ya crazy I'll let you be, looks like your friends want to talk to ya" finished A.J as apple looks over to see D.T and S.S coming her way.

searching for a possible escape and almost panicking as she sees them getting closer before an idea hits her. 'what to do what to do?!........ ahh tablecloth that'll work!' she thought as she glances around and makes her plan darts over and takes off and robe's herself with the pink cloth just in time.

"well well well look who's here nice outfit" teased Dimond.giggleing.

"just some thin I uh...put together last minute," said Apple Bloom coming up with an excuse.

"it really shows off your cutie mark oh wait, that's right you don't have one" moked Diamond.

"I have a cutie mark," said Apple Bloom lying.

"uhh what, since when?" asked Silver Spoon scoffingly.

"uh since umm earlier today," she said again a lie.

"oh really let's see it," said Diamond still in her mocking tone demanding proof.

"I shouldn't I couldn't my cutie mark is so unbelievably amazing I'm afraid that if I show it off every pony would start paying attention to me instead of you," said Apple Bloom coming up with a reason to not show her non-existent mark.
"outshined at your own cute-sin-yeara can you imagine how embarrassing that would be" finished Apple Bloom getting muzzle to muzzle with her enemy.

"uh forget it I didn't really want to see it anyway," said Diamond.

"ok well I'm gonna go mingle enjoy your party" said Apple Bloom walking away...-sigh- 'that was too close' she sighed inwardly right before she ate her own thoughts and tripped over her disguise hits the phonograph stopping the music dead and every pony there look right at her and her bare flank. "oh no," she said under her breath as Diamond and Silver started mocking.

"well that is an amazing cutie mark," said diamond as both She and Silver start laughing "nice try blank flank!" they mocked in unison.
as they continued bullying her.

"you got a problem with blank flanks!" said a familiar voice. as D.T and S.S gasp at the interruption.

"I said do you have a problem with blank flanks" repeated Scootaloo as she and Sweetie bell come out from under a table.

"the problem is she's like totally not special," said Silver flatly.

"no it means she's full of potential!" said Sweetie walking over and standing next to Apple Bloom.

"it means she could be great at anything the possibilities are like endless," said Scootaloo joining her on her other side to defend her.

"she could be a famous singing musician she could be a great artist or a great writer she could even be mayor of pony Ville someday" continued Sweetie.

"and she's not stuck being stuck up like you two" finished Scootaloo. causing laughs amoungst the crowd.

"hey this is my party why are you two on her side!?" complained Diamond angered.

"becouse," said Scoots and Sweetie in unison as the show their flanks.

-gasp- "you don't have cutie marks either!?" said Apple Bloom surprised.

"I thought I was the only one!" she said happily.

"we thought we were the only two," said Scootaloo

-mmn ng sobbed- Apple Bloom remembering how she'd fist met them.

“No! ah, won't let it be true” denied apple bloom coming out of remembrance as she runs and grabs the wand off the pedestal sweetie had given as a gift. 16-19 day’s before.

Twilight watches heart torn- in- two as she see’s her two best friend's; sister's in a cold embrace but snaps into protective mode as she see’s apple bloom grab the wand she had took from her and tries to stop her but before she could reach her--smack--.. “uh...mmph” said Twilight as she’s hit by a newly formed force field. And face plants.

“Ah won't let it be true” said Apple Bloom as she remembers what Sweetie had told herApple Bloom hears her friend's kindred voice as she does just that. She didn't want Twilight to stop her and by her sheer willpower, she wouldn't.

A.j watches helplessly as she see’s her sister effortlessly stop Twilight in her tracks and renders her unconscious. “Apple bloom please stop.” said a.j askingly. Her words falling on deaf ears. As she walks over to the white forcefield her little sister had erected and sits down next to the incapacitated Twilight and wakes her friend up.

Twilight wakes and stares blankly at A.J before remembering what had happened she shoots up right and looks wide-eyed at the scene before her.

Gray bells ring in the distant light,She wakes in the black of night.
