welcome to ponyville

It was dark, celestia’s sun hasn’t even appeared on the horizon , a stallions voice could be heard from downstairs.

“hey sis im goin’ out for a bit” said blizzard

The only response give was a small groan from his sisters bedroom

“to.. early” said mist-vale

“oh come on sis you know that we wake up tis early everyday, anyway I got to go work so behave until I get back”

“alright brother, just be back for dinner”

“I will”

Blizzard hugged his sister quickly, and went off to work

A short while after blizz departed a knock was heard on the door, mist vale walks up to the door and froze still while her mind registered the stallion at the door.

“PAPA!”

Mist-vale jumps up and tackles her father to the ground, both fore hooves hugging him

“I can’t believe your back”

Her father laughs lightly

“hey easy kiddo, I’m only here for a little while”

“You’re not gonna try and get blizz to join celastia’s royal guard, are you?”

A long silence followed her question

“you are, aren’t you, you know I don’t like it when you two fight”

“I know mist, I know”

He kissed her on the cheek

“come on why don’t you show your old man to his room”

She takes him to his room, she then excuses herself and continues on her chores

“hey sis, I’m home”

Blizz walks in only to stop dead in his tracks as he saw his father

“father” he said with a nod

“son” his father respondeds with a nod

Mist-vale walks into the living room with a tray of tea balanced on her back, she sets the tray down on the coffee table

“oh, welcome back blizz, father is just visiting for a short while”

“I already told you the answer is no and the answer is still, NO” blizz’s voice raised slightly as he spoke

He then quickly remembered his filly sister doesn’t like shouting

“and besides, I have some good news sis, we are moving”

His sister looked at him dumb found

“where to brother”

“to a place called ponyvile, I even got you into the local school, and I got a job at, umm what was it called, oh yeah, sweet apple acers”

“that’s to bad son, I was hoping you would change your mind, but I see you’ve taken a different path”

“well if it’s what brother wants, then im going with him” mist-vale said with a smile on her face, any way it’s getting a little late

so going to bed”

She walks upstairs and as soon the others thought she was out of ear shot blizzard and her father began arguing again loud enough that mist-vale could here every word, she pulls up her covers and tries to block out the sound.

{Fast forward to when the mane six are in pony vile}  (mist-vale Is now 14 years old and blizz is 18)

the two siblings settle into their new house

“ok sis I got my first day of work today, and your good to walk around town, you might even make some friends”

He turns towards the door and starts to head out

“stay safe brother” mist-vale said as she came around the corner to see her brother leave

“don’t you worry about me, I’ll be fine”

He goes off to sweet apple acres, to begin his job

“well I suppose I could go out to town find out where everything is”

She walks off to town and eventually finds the tree library after getting several directions, inside she was greeted by a purple unicorn.

“Hi there, can I help you, hmm wait I’ve never seen you before”

“Oh yes, I’m new in town, my name is Mist-vale”

“Well it’s good to meet you Mist-vale, I’m twilight, twilight sparkle, so can I help you”

“No I’m just looking for some reading material”

“Well you came to the right place Mist-vale; call me if you need any help”

Twilight then wanders off to wake up spike

Mist-vale looks around and eventually found a book she liked and climbed up the ladder to reach it

Twilight walked in

“Ummm wouldn’t it be easier just to fly up and grab it”

Mist-vale has almost reached her book; she tried to think of some reason to cover up that she could not fly

“I guess, but I just like to make things a bit of a challenge, GOT IT”

As she grabbed the book she stumbled and lost her balance falling of the ladder and landing on the ground, unknown to her and twilight the town bullies saw Mist-vale fall immediately realizing she could not fly.
