A Snowflake During Twilight

Snow Flake sat on his bed thinking about the day to come. He would be heading to Pony Land tomorrow Ponyville. The stallion had just moved to the small yet active town with his friend Orange Pop. They were both rooming together in a small apartment in the center of Ponyville. Snow walked over to the mirror and saw the exciting white coat pony with a royal blue mane. He had a short tail, like most stallions, and a medium sized mane. He was lost in thought as he gazed into the mirror but was broken up by an orange pony. It was Orange Pop, he was acting wild as usual. Pop was about the same size as Snow, only his coat was a deep orange and his mane was fire red. If anyone was to stand out in a crowd it would be him.

Orange came running into the bathroom where Snow was gazing at himself. Pop yelled "Cmon Snow! We've got to get to Sugarcube Corner, I'm starving!" Snow responded by saying "Alright,alright I'm coming." And with that the two were off to Sugarcube Corner, in hopes of filling their stomachs and making some friends.The walk there took about 15 minutes from their apartment and when they arrived the place seemed to be alive with enthusiasm. Little did they know the party was for them, Ponyvilles two newcomers.

They rushed inside were music was being played and other ponies were dancing and having a great time. They were greeted by a pink, hyperactive pony. "Hi, how are you guys, oh you must be the new ponies around here! I bet I'm the first to meet you right, at this party! Oh yea this party, for the both of you! By the way I'm Pinkie Pie!" the new, strange pink pony said so fast it was almost incomprehensible. Orange was the first to respond "Hey! It's great to meet you. I'm Orange Pop, and this is my friend Snow Flake." "Follow me i will introduce you." Pinkie said grabbing both Orange and Snow at the same time.

She pulled them up onto a stage where she grabbed a microphone. She tapped it a couple of times and said "Hiya everypony, these are our new friends staying in Ponyville with us. And i want you guys to give them a big, friendly welcome!" Everypony stood up and gave a couple of claps for the two new residents of Ponyville.

Orange Pop was starstruck by all the mares focusing in on him and his friend. Snow was also very surprised, but he was focusing on a purple unicorn. He too was a unicorn, unlike his winged friend Orange. The second Snow looked upon this beautiful unicorn he knew he had to talk to her. After the applaud Snow went to talk to Orange. He said " Orange I'm going to go formally introduce myself, I would suggest you do the same." Orange nodded at him and trotted off towards the pink pony they first met.

He went over to the table where he saw this purple unicorn only to find her with two others. One was a white unicorn that had kept her mane especially neat and clean. The other was a yellow pegasus with a pink mane who looked very shy.He took a seat right next to the pegasus and introduced himself. "Hey I'm Snow Flake." trying his best to direct the comment to the whole table. "Hello darling, I am Rarity, fashion expert." said the white coat unicorn. "Hi, I'm Twilight Sparkle, student of Princess Celestia." Said the purple unicorn in a somewhat shy tone. The yellow one just sat over to the side with her head slightly down. "That is Fluttershy, she is somewhat shy, but anyways where are you two from?" Rarity said. "Well me and Orange Pop are from Manehatten. We both wanted a more quiet life so we moved here and now we are rooming together." Snow explained.

Twilight continued to stare at this new white unicorn named Snow Flake. She did not know what to make of him as he continued his conversation with Rarity. She could not help but find herself somewhat attracted to him. But she was Caramel's girlfriend. Although they never really did anything. They had been together for about three months now and hadn't even kissed. Twilight couldn't say much though as she had never kissed a stallion before. She would have to investigate this new unicorn more over the night.

The conversation went on for most of the night. Snow still had so much interest in Twilight, but the time had come for the party to end. Everypony was going home now and Snow was about to miss his shot. He mustered up all of his courage and started towards Twilight and said " It is getting pretty dark outside, do you mind if i walk you home?" Twilight's face turned a shed of pink for a few moments when she said " Well... I guess that would be fine." She was actually really hoping he would ask her but she felt like she was cheating on Caramel. She already had thoughts about this young unicorn but to actually set things in motion, she could not let happen.

They started towards Twilight's house when Snow asked "So Twilight, are you going to Pony Land tomorrow?" Twilight quickly responded by saying "Yes, I am going with my boyfriend, Caramel." No! Twilight thought to herself, why did I say that? "Oh, of course a beautiful mare like you would be taken." Snow said in a very depressed tone. "Well, it's really nothing serious, we haven't even done anything." Twilight explained. She could kick herself for saying that too. After a long awkward walk back to her house they arrived. Twilight stood at her door and looked at Snow hoping he would say something. " Well Twilight I had a great time here on my first night in Ponyville." Twilight took a heap of courage and looked at Snow and said with an unsteady voice " It's freezing outside, why don't you come inside here and get a cup of hot chocolate." It was quite cold outside and could use some rest after that terrible walk to Twilight's house. So he nodded and walked inside.

He sat very idle on the couch as Twilight started to make the drink. Twilight yelled out " I have a pet baby dragon named Spike. He's probably asleep right now but don't be frightened if he comes in. He's harmless" This gave Snow a chuckle as Twilight brought in the hot chocolate. "Here you go." Twilight said with a smile as she handed Snow a cup. Twilight then bolted onto the couch right next to Snow. He sipped at his drink as he watched Twilight pick up a book and flip through the pages. "What are you reading there?" Snow asked Twilight. "Oh just a book about the great wizard Grandhallf and his friend Robin Hoof. They both used their powers steal from the greedy rich and give to the innocent poor. Grandhallf was a powerful unicorn like me and you. But Robin Hoof was a pegasus like your friend.

Snow had heard the story before, Orange and Snow used to pretend to be the characters from the book and play outside like that. He wasn't going to tell her that though, he would let her unleash that bit of geek inside of her, though it was actually quite cute. She went on for what seemed like hours talking about all of her books and other stories. She didn't say anything else about her and a stallion though.

Snow thought he would go a bit deeper into her personal life now. "So you said you had a boyfriend, right?" Snow asked. "Yes but like I said, we haven't really done anything yet." Why do I keep saying that, she quickly thought. "So what do you mean you guys haven't kissed?" Snow proceeded "Well... we actually... no." Twilight responded. "Have you ever kissed a stallion before?" Snow Flake asked putting all of his courage int it. "...no" Twilight said almost ashamed. hen Snow slowly looked down at Twilight's lips, then back up into her eyes. She was giving him those giant very anxious eyes. Both of their breaths had gotten extremely heavy and their hearts were beating fast. Snow started to close in very close to Twilight's lips. Then Twilight finished off the last bit of space between them.

They both held the kiss for about 30 seconds and Snow pulled away slowly. He then pulled Twilight into his hooves and close to his body where he lied down next to her on the couch. They both fell asleep there in each others arms dreaming of the big day tomorrow going to Pony Land, together.
