Since their defeat at Canterlot, the changelings have been surviving solely because of the generosity of the Equestrian government. After most of their drones were killed in the invasion, the remnants, still led by Queen Chrysalis, live off periodic deliveries of love magic from the Equestrians.

One day, a strange creature appears deep in the tunnels of the hive. The new arrival creates many new decisions for Queen Chrysalis to consider.

Figured I'd post something for 3 year anniversary, already got multiple chapters done so a consistent update schedule can be expected (for a while at least).
