Her soothing voice calmed my mind more and more, distracting me from what was happening, distracting me from my new body, me losing my memories, everything. She was rocking me, as if I was a baby.. Wait, I am a baby.. Oh well.. "Don't worry little one, this will only hurt for a second" she said as I felt pain in my head, as if someone or something was going through it, into it. Voices began to fill my mind, thousands, if not millions of them. I was overwhelmed, crying, screaming, wanting it to stop. They just got louder, and louder, and louder. "Shhhh.. Shhh.. It'll be alright." she soothingly said in my ear. My vision blurred, then blackened. I had fallen unconscious. Hours later I woke up, with a large headache, of course. Well at least the voices aren't as bad.. I seemed to almost say. The voices responded, especially one in particular, the soothing voice again.

I was shocked. I opened my eyes and found myself curled up next to Mothe- Chrysalis.. Hmm they shouldn't be able to hear me now.. But woah woah woah hold up.. Why am I calling her Mother? Oh right.. She kinda is my mother now.. She smiled at me and licked my muzzle, making me sneeze and giggle. I had watched the show before, but I never knew it was real.. Information on Changelings is sketchy, and we knew Mother wasn't suppose to be like this, and instead be evil, but she seems really nice. Wait did I just say.. Ugh.. Forget it.. I give up.. I GIVE UP! She picked me up in her magic, my fee- er hooves flailing around. I tried speaking, and barely was able to. "Aaahh! Mother!!! Put me down!!!" and she did, putting me down in front of her, nuzzling me to death. I couldn't stop giggling, and I enjoyed it all. It was the best I had ever felt, ever. Her soothing voice returned, "Hmm.. You need a number.. How about Drone 6397? Hm, yes. 6397 will work." and I nodded. I didn't try to nod, I just... Did, like something was controlling me, making me nod. She picked me up in her magic again, staring into my eyes. Fear flowed through me, scared to death that she was going to eat me. She instead smiled. "I did a good job with this one, didn't I.. Not a normal drone, I can see it in his eyes.. He has that cuteness, yet has a spark of fire in his eyes... Interesting..." and I again nodded. Okay, what is with the nodding? I smiled as she put me down, nuzzling me more. "Alright, cutey 6379, you will be getting your first bit of knowledge." I nodded as I felt the wave of pain hit me, Immense amounts of knowledge being... Inserted into my mind. I learned many things that surprised me. Huh.. She didn't normally act this way to hatchlings.. Unless she was proud of them, and if they were really cute.. Hm.. Great. Great indeed. The wave of pain ended when the wave of knowledge ended. And that was just one of many to come in the next few years. She then picked me up, this time, instead of using magic, with her mouth, almost like a tiger would to one of their cubs. Relaxation spread through my body as she did so. She laid down on a nest of some kind, and laid me curled up on her belly, I couldn't resist the urge to rub my head against her as I slowly fell asleep. "Goodnight little one" she whispered seconds before I was asleep.

I woke up to Mother getting ready to... Go somewhere? "W-where are you going, mommy?" I asked quietly, and cutely. "To gather food, my dear hatchling. I will be back soon, I promise." she, again used that damned soothing voice. I nodded, still lying where I had been. I scratched my ears and experimented with them, as well as my wings. "Why can't I come?" I asked, my curiosity getting to me. "Because it's dangerous, and because mommy says so, okay?" she said in a authority like voice. "Y-yes m-mommy..." I responded. She then picked me up with her mouth again, taking me to a room. It was a small room, and it had two other hatchlings in it, maybe two days older than me at the most. "You'll stay in here until I get back, okay?" she said in that soothing tone, of which I nodded. Don't worry cutey, I'll be able to talk to you. and she left. All three of us hatchlings looked at each other before licking each other, giggling. That entire day was just us giggling, licking, and nibbling on each other, having as much fun as we could. I couldn't fall asleep though, I felt as if something bad had happened. The hivemind was quiet the entire day, and I couldn't reach Mother.. I hope she's alright.. I thought, scared. The other two walked over and we cuddled each other, trying to comfort each other. We could all feel the disturbance, the fear. We eventually fell asleep.

Never underestimate the power of nature, question it. I was riding my bike back home, I had gone for a ride, got me some ice cream, all of that stuff.. A storm front was rolling through. I could hear thunder in the distance, my mind knowing I need to get home, to shelter. I was riding my bike, at seven in the afternoon, while a storm was rolling through. That has to show how stupid I am... I was making a turn before, almost a web you could say, or lightning formed in front of me. It began to surround me, trapping me in a sphere of lightning. The sphere got smaller and smaller, the walls closing in. I started panicking. Voices began to fill my mind, two or three voices. They were soothing, their voices were, almost, angelic.. Soon I was blinded by lightning, a burst of pain going through me. That was the worst pain I've ever had. The pain dulled as I felt my body no more, my vision now black. This was it wasn't it.. I was going to die..

I couldn't feel anything for a minute, until I felt like I was in, how to describe it.. Chocolate pudding? Goo? I don't know.. I still had the pain, but it was dissipating quickly. I couldn't see anything, except for some dim light, which was blurry. I couldn't figure out on if it was blurry because of whatever stuff I was in, or if my vision was just wonky.. Wait, how am I breathing? I'll have to figure that out later.. At least most of the pain was gone, but my head for sure hurts. I looked around, which was quite hard to do. Whatever liquid this was, it was thick, like real real real thick. Wait, someone.. Or.. Something is coming.. The thing walked towards whatever I was in, and.. Poked a... Very disturbing looking horn thing through. My mind went into overdrive, thinking of anything I know that looks even close to that.. I realized.. I-it was Queen Chrysalis.. My dreams had came true! I was in Equestria! World Discovered! Equestria! Oh great.. PLOP! and I slid out, choking, coughing up the liquid. "Ah.. Little hatchling.." she said in an.. Oddly soothing, calming voice. I couldn't help but come over to her, and I noticed I was small. Very small. I was a hatchling! A changeling hatchling! I tried to talk, but couldn't. "There there little one.. Don't worry. Everything will be fine once you're connected to the hivemind." she said as she picked me up. Wait, did she say HIVE MIND? Oh great.. Wait, why am I forgetting who I am.. I'm starting to forget my life.. Ohh great.. Ohhhhhhh great...
