Poisoned Equestria

I sat in my closet and cried, I didn't know what was going on and I didn't want to betray my friends. I didn't want to tell them that I had been bitten, but if I did they would either have to kill me but I just didn't want to die but I would die if they didn't kill. I cried and cried.

I woke up maybe an hour ago, I accidentally hit Rarity in the head when I turned in my sleep so she yelled at me about. I grabbed my stress ball and have been squeezing it for the past hour. I sat around waiting for Vinyl to wake up, I also said good morning to Derpy, and Seafoam, which was this really strange pegasus that I couldn't wrap my head around. He says hello and if you say hello to him he gets mad, so I don't know about him, but Dark was strange. If you say hello to him he will just stand and stare with a blank expression. I waited for Vinyl and the fillies to wake up so that we can actually start thinking about what to do. As Vinyl started to wake up I heard a creak from upstairs. I grabbed the machete that I had moved to the side table and slowly made my way upstairs. I made my way to each room with Rarity right behind me with her horn at the ready. I opened Fluttershy's bathroom door up and saw that the sink had seven teeth sitting in a pool of blood. I also looked in the shower and saw some of Fluttershy's hair and a dead bunny lying on the ground. I read the collar's name tag. Angel Bunny. I left the room and walked into Fluttershy's room since this is where the sound was coming from I opened the door very slowly and peered into the room. I didn't see anything so I slid the door open quickly. I looked around the room and didn't see anything out of place, but just as I was about to leave I heard a thump coming from the closet. I told Rarity to use her telekinesis to open the door. She opened the door and out came a dead Fluttershy, which didn't seem interested in us. She walked over to us but that was it she didn't do anything. Rarity started to back up and hit her hoof against the door causing Fluttershy to look at her and charge her. Rarity levitated her with her horn and threw her with all her might against the wall. The wall cracked and Fluttershy slumped onto the ground, a blood trail behind her on the wall where her head hit and then dragged down. I left the room as quickly as I could and ran down the stairs almost tripping on the last step. I ran over to the door and threw it open, and vomited yesterday's breakfast up on Fluttershy's lawn. I went back inside and sat at the kitchen table, waiting for somepony to talk.

"Are we going to do anything productive today," asked Dark.

"I don't know, do you have good ideas," I asked in an angry tone.

"Yeah I do actually, we need food," he told me.

"Yeah, all the food that Fluttershy had stored up is for animals like dog food and bird food," Seafoam said.

"Well, who's going to go on a food run," I asked.

"We also need some weapons, to defend ourselves," said Vinyl.

"Fine, Seafoam, and Rarity, you two will be going for any nonperishable food types, so no apples or carrots, but canned food. Vinyl and I will fo find any weapons, and Dark and Derpy will stay here and protect the fillies," I said. Vinyl grabbed her metal baseball bat and my machete, and Rarity sparked up her horn and Seafoam took Dark's hatchet. We all left the cottage in somewhat of an orderly fashion. "Rarity and Seafoam you two should check the market district, and Vinyl and me are going to check ponies houses." We all departed to out destinations and waved to the other scavengers. I found a house that seemed to be empty, so I went and opened the door slowly. I walked in and saw what looked to be the carcass of a pony hanging off the railing of the building. I walked over and poked the pony in the head with my machete to make sure it was dead. I walked into the kitchen to find anything and told Vinyl to go look for a bag of some sort. She ran upstairs and started searching. I went into the kitchen and opened a cupboard that had a lot of glass cups in it, that were stored horribly. When I opened the cupboard the glass came spilling out on my head and breaking, and the broken pieces cut into me. I heard Vinyl run downstairs. I looked at her and I saw her with her bat raised over her head ready to hit me.

"Put the bat down Vinyl," she slowly started to lower her bat, until she heard hooves clopping on the ground outside the house. I grabbed her and pulled her into the kitchen, and looked at the front door. I saw a pony enter the door frame, hesitantly. I noticed her as Nurse Redheart. She turned around to say something to another pony, so I guess she was alive. I came out slowly, so that way she wouldn't blast me against the back wall.

"Hey we have somepony alive over here," she yelled to whoever was with her. "Wait, Pinkie?"

"Yeah, who are you with," she stepped out of the way and Luna stepped into the doorway. I fell to my knee and bowed.  "Princess Luna, wait are you doing today."

"Get up Pinkie, were trying to find survivors," she told me.

"Vinyl come here," I called out to Vinyl when I realised that she wasn't standing next to me. I walked back over to the kitchen and saw Vinyl bleeding profusely, from her leg. "Redheart, do you know how to deal with this."

"Um, do you have some sort of cloth," she asked and as she did I ran over and to the window and ripped a curtain up, and brought it back to Nurse Redheart. She quickly tied the cloth around her leg. I carried Vinyl and led Nurse Redheart, the Doctor, and Luna. I met the doctor when we had left, he had asked if I wanted help with carrying Vinyl. I opened the door to Fluttershy's cottage and let the other ponies in then I came in and set Vinyl on the couch. I also noticed that Rarity was watching over Seafoam.

"Rarity, what's wrong with him," I asked her.

"When we went to find food, a flock of birds flew over and Seafoam looked up to see them, but then something fell into his eye and Dark thinks that he's infected and that we have to kill him," said Rarity. I dragged Rarity upstairs so we could talk privately.

"Why are you so attached to him Rarity," I asked her.

"I have a crush on him," she said.

"of, course you do," I told her. I walked back downstairs and Luna was already making herself comfortable. Redheart was putting a band-aid on Apple Bloom's arm as she had cut herself. Vinyl was passed out from the shock, and Seafoam was writhing in pain. Dark was holding his friend's hoof and praying. The doctor was looking at this vial of blood that had on him. Derpy was sitting in the corner of the room rocking back in forth. Seeing the morale of everypony was making me sad, my cutie mark is for me to make ponies happy, and I'm not making ponies happy. I stood and my hair fell flat and fur turned darker, I was supposed to make ponies happy. I cried on the stair until I passed out, but in my dream, I was making everypony happy.
