We Are The Mane Six
My Name Is Rarity
Load Full StoryNext Chapter"My name is Rarity," I say, as the beautiful pony looks at me and asks about my day. She looks me up and down assessing her first impressions of me.
"This tea is delicious," she says with a smile, not knowing the fate that's in store for her.
Her coat, the first thing that catches my eye. That mares coat is one to die for. Die for, I chuckle at the thought. Such a beautiful magenta, with such a beautiful shine. Yes that shine. She's the one, I think. She smiles at me once again asking about my inspiration for my designs.
"Colours," I mumble bluntly looking at my own coat. Mine was scruffy, covered in bits of dirt from sitting in my attic for too long, But her's, covered in nothing but care and compassion for life and the will to live, it was more than delightful to look at.
She put up a struggle, and a big one at that. I had to hit her over the head with a pan just to silence her. She glared at me with those large green eyes of hers. Her eyes, such a beautiful green. I needed them, they were too precious to waste. Her hair, so soft and full, nothing like mine. Mine is damaged and hard. With years of straightening and curling taking their toll.
"What do you want from me..." she huffs.
I whisper in her ear with a sly grin on my face. "Your colours, of course."
"What?!" She cries. "M-my colours?" I ignore her enquiry, continuing with my attempt to strap her down to my medical table.
Wasn't this hard getting her down here. I thought. All it took was a muffin from Pinkie's bakery and a bit of sleeping pills from the pharmacy. Hauling her into my basement from my dining room was a bit of a struggle but I got it done in the end, with the help of my trusty horn and magic, I succeeded. I got her strapped down eventually. Not the easiest of tasks, but I managed. She screamed and fought back, but she was no match for me. Jamming a large stick in her mouth, I began injecting adrenaline into her flesh, lowering the chance of more blood and a bigger mess.
I needed her awake for this part, as it would be easier to cut a tense pony. I had tried this on a sleeping pony before, but had not succeeded as she had become too limp.
I took the nearest scalpel, which I kept on a silver platter beside me. The beautiful pony looked at the blade in horror and then back at me. She let out a scream, but I soon silenced her with the threat of ripping out her vocal cords.
I began to cut , beginning from her collar bone and slowly moving to her stomach, then further. She squealed as I chuckle with a thirst for blood and all things beautiful. "Don't thrash around too much. It might slip and pierce through your liver," I say impatiently. Once the cut was complete, I slid the blade deeper through the flesh making the skin part. her eyes gazed at my work, shedding a tear as she watched. I decided to let her look around, as this would be her last time before I got around to remove her eyes.
I first sliced off her eyelids, discarding the soft tissue in the container next to me. I took a spoon and heated it as this would burn through the nerves, blood vessels, and tissues holding the eye in place. Blood gushed from her wounds and covered her eyes in blood. I cursed at my error and burned the veins to stop the bleeding. I cleaned her eyes and proceeded to slide the tip of the spoon between the first eye and socket. The mare began to thrash around violently, only to find her efforts useless. I repeated the process on the other eye. This one didn't come out as easily, but I managed. I proceeded by filling the empty sockets with black tar to extinguish any hope this pony had left.
Next, I cut off all her pink and purple locks and put them in a plastic bag to save for later. By now the pony had stopped wiggling, and if not for the occasional moans and groans, I would have thought she had passed out.
I sliced deeper into her cuts until I could see her heart pulsating in the rib cage and the lungs sloshing the blood, which had leaked in . I heated up the blade and began to peel off all her skin from the edge of the large gaping wound. The pony began to thrash around violently, once again. My hoof slipped and cut into the liver, slicing it open in the process. Cursing, I began to stitch up the organ as I did not want to murder her, I just wanted to harvest her skin. I resumed my task. The blood kept pouring and squirting out of the incisions I had created, loving every second of it.
I soon finished skinning the entire pony and hung her skin on a rack to let all the blood drip out. I decided to sew up the not so pretty pony, and let her heal before putting her where I put all the rest of my abominations.
Before I headed back up to my attic, I cleaned the skin and put it out to dry on the rack in my basement. Later that day I walked back to the pony to check up on her and feed her. She was still alive, having placed her in a cage to recover, she no longer struggled and shouted, so I asked her a simple question. "What's your name, dear?"
"My name... My name? That's the least of my worries," the pony replied in the most distressed voice I had ever heard. "My name does not matter, as I am not me anymore. My name was Cheerilee but now, I don't know,"
I left her with the food and pain relief that she required, and left to prepare for my new outfit.
A week later I revealed my creation to my friends and as expected they were speechless. They gasped and exclaimed that it was the most magnificent creation they had ever seen. I smiled and knew it was all worth it.
I later returned home with my self confidence restored and a will to live, with my creation on my back.
I visited Cheerilee in the basement. Her wounds had closed and skin had scabbed over. I had sown her mouth shut and placed a tube in her stomach to feed her as she would not shut up. I had recently began teaching her how to walk. A month or two later, her cuts and skin had healed, so I brought her to her destination at the dead of night. I knocked on the door of Sugarcube Corner. A jolly pink pony stuck out her head, took in the pony, and whispered "What's the password?"
"My name is Rarity."
