~Chapter Three~

I had woken up in some kind of prison cell. It wasn’t any regular run-of-the-mill prison, the walls were covered in a rough, hard chitin, and my limbs were suspended above the ground by a green slimy substance, that seemed to harden the more I tried to wriggle out of it, yet retained enough tightness when not moving to restrain me.
I had no idea what time it was, there was no sunlight to indicate if it had turned morning, or if the darkness was a sign that it was still nearing the hours of midnight. There wasn’t any cracks in the wall to peek through, so I could only assume I was underground.
It was then that I had panicked, I was trapped Celestia knows how deep underground, in some dark, dirty and slimy cell, with no means of escape. It was only then I had tried to cast a teleportation spell, but only backfired, which left me with a very painful headache.
I could hear buzzing. It wasn’t from a small creature, but rather multiple wing beats, getting louder, matched with very light hoofbeats. I could only assume whatever monsters that were guarding this place had sensed my attempts to escape, and were now on their way to finish me off.
I was rather surprised when I saw a humanoid figure walk into the cell, it was too dark to make anything but a silhouette of a female figure. Suddenly a bright green light pierced the darkness, momentarily blinding me.
By the time my eyes had recovered the cell I was in had been illuminated with a soft green light, I could now see the figure in front of me in full detail. What had got me first was her sharp, green eyes, staring directly into my own, the crooked horn atop her head looked like it has been bitten, or had holes taken out of it, the same with her hooves. She was wearing a leather jacket (with what I assumed was nothing underneath) with a pair of insect wings jutting out from behind, and a pair of tight fitting jeans that hugged her form rather nicely.
I received a rather swift slap to the face from her right hand after she had noticed I was looking elsewhere. Leaving a rather large bruise on my muzzle, hidden beneath my gray fur. The initial shock had woke me up completely, bringing me out of my half conscious state, alarm bells ringing in my mind.
This, was a changeling.
Not just any changeling, mind you, but royalty, judging by the petite crown sitting ajar on her head. I tried to shout but found no voice, the grin on her face was the stuff of nightmares, revealing two rather sharp fangs, doubled for each jaw.
She made her move, fangs now barely scraping along the surface of my throat, eventually puncturing and leaving two rather small holes, blood trickling down my shoulder. I could feel something being pumped into my neck, whatever it was definitely was cold, although strangely, I had no will of my own, I could no longer protest against my Queen.
