~Chapter Two~
I set my tools aside and made my way to the Town Hall that was already bustling with life, you could hear the music thumping against the frail clay walls, and rustling the hay that made up the roof.
Upon reaching the door, there were two, very burly stallions guarding it, and an very long waiting line before them, consisting of many pastel colored stallions and their mare-friends, idly making conversation to make the time waiting that bit less boring.
It was a full half an hour wait to get to the doors, I could hardly wait!
I presented my identification card with the biggest grin on my muzzle I could muster, the two stallions simply shifted to the side just enough to let me pass between them, and I promptly followed through by trotting inside.
From what I could see, I could only describe it as the most hectic place in Equestria. Front and center was a huge stage, with ultra bright lights and blaring music. A white DJ with her hair dyed in various shades of blue was constantly switching between her decks, making all sorts of adjustments to the knobs and sliders that littered them.
Beside that was the bar, it was mostly a very chilled out place, the bartender was known for her manners and the ability to make small talk with anyone, always wearing a friendly smile.
Opposite that was where all of the sturdy crates and containers that were used to transit the various equipment and liquids from here to Canterlot, various ponies that had gotten bored of the main event had settled their flanks on top of them, before being asked to leave by the internal guards watching the entire complex.
I planted myself down beside the bar and ordered a single apple cider, dropping two golden bits onto the counter, which were swiftly deposited in the safe box below where the wooden pint mugs were stored. It was quickly downed in one go, burning on the way down my throat and leaving a rather strong apple after-taste.
I simply left the empty mug on the counter and made my way towards the stage, being pushed from pillar to post until I had finally reached the front of the crowd. Several songs were played back to back, most of them being weird twisted versions of noises, that also had a fairly good drum beat to them, wrapping the whole monstrosity of the tune into something you could easily enjoy listening to.
I had no way to know what the current time of day it was, by the time I had left the hall the sun had began peeking over the horizon, replacing the moon that had come before it, almost as hypnotic as ever.
However, while I was busy admiring the royal sisters' work, I had felt a sharp pain in the base of my skull, traveling up to the tip of my horn.
Before I had the chance to react I was already out cold, the brightness of the sun quickly being replaced with the cold and empty darkness of unconsciousness.
