Death is life

The royal guard constantly tried to enter the forest and the hospital but It was no use, who ever went in either area never came back out. Celestia was trying not to let any unicorns or pegisi in because the ghouls may be too dumb to know how to use magic but they might learn how, and pegisi, there's a chance ones wings might be intact and it could fly over the fence, she knows because she saw the ones that were pegisi could flap there wings, one even did manage to fly over but was quickly dispatched of by a unicorn, and was thrown back over the fence. So far they haven't responded to any medication or spells the doctors gave them, they also don't seem to remember their loved ones... Or anything for that matter.

"Come on, something has to work." A doctor said.

"Just stop trying, can't you see that these things are dead, even if you found a cure all you would do is make it a still corpse instead of a moving one." A guard responded.

"Your out of line soldier!" Luna said in the Royal Canterlot voice.

"Oh...uh... Pri...princess Luna, your majesty I didn't notice your arrival." The Royal guard nervously said.

Ignoring the guards ignorance, princess Luna said. "He's right, all your doing is just making it limb, there's no need for a cure, quarantine the forest and the hospital in domes, and fill them with toxins."

Saying what she needed to say she walked away back to the Royal palace.

"Doctors, you heard the princess, prepare domes around the quarantined areas and fill them with toxins!" The guard screamed out.

Twilight was having a bad nightmare, the ghouls had escaped their quarantines and devoured her friends and family, they finished them off and started to limp over to Twilight.

"No p...please, I'll do an...anything to live." She said in fear.

No response came from them, only the growls and moans, of her former loved ones.

"Please someone, help me!" She screamed out.

Twilight woke up with in panic, she noticed she was crying when she looked in a mirror. From the look of her beds condition, it was a rough night last night, she quickly remade her bed using a cleaning spell. The smell of rotting meat passed by her nose again, the smell brought back memories of her dream.

"Please tell me it was just a dream." She begged herself.

She looked outside a crack in her boarded up window and lucky for her, everything was normal.

"Thank Celestia, That must not happen." Twilight said in worry.

She decided to call rarity using a new communication spell she made a while back, she walked up to a mirror in her room and casted the spell, the mirror began to Fog up.

"Now all I need to do is wait for rarity to answer." Twilight said.

(This part is a prequel to the first part of this chapter)

Celestia was inside the royal chambers sitting on her bed casting a future sight spell that could allow her to see in the future, she was seeing if their was anyway for her and most of the ponies in aquestria to survive, all she saw was ruins in every vision but suddenly she saw a vision past by with her, Luna, twilight, and cadence alive and well, that's all she saw though because the spell shut off before she could get a good look in detail. she rushed towards Luna's chambers and opened her door.

"Luna go tell the guards to eleminate the ghouls using toxins, I want as little casualties as possible." She said to Luna.

"You saw the vision too, didn't you sister." Luna asked Celestia.

" yes, I did." Celestia answered.

When Luna left, Celestia walked down the halls of the castle. Now that she saw that Vision, Celestia held hope for the ponies of aquestria unlike she did a day ago when talking to twilight and her friends.

"That vision must happen" she begged herself.

She continued down the hall, when a thought came to her.

"Discord." She thought. "Since they don't respond to harmonic healing spells, maybe they respond to chaotic healing spells... If there are chaotic healing spells".

"Discord." She said.

Suddenly a zipper appeared on a wall of the hallway, it unzipped and out came discord, the lord of chaos.

"Yes, your majesty." Discord said in a sarcastic tone.

"Discord, is it possible for chaotic magic to heal." Celestia asked discord.

"Hmm, well there is life for a life, necromancy oh and body possession works on dead bodies too." He replied.

"Those only bring back the dead, wait bring back the dead." She said to herself.

"I know what your thinking, and it's not going to work." Discord said in a joking tone.

Snickering, discord said "get this, (chuckle) chaotic magic doesn't work on them."

And then he dropped to the floor laughing. Celestia just looked at him and rolled her eyes.

"Wait you don't get the joke. no form of magic works on them besides attacks, shouldn't you be panicking... Oh your no fun Celestia." He said to her sarcastically.

"Your dismissed discord." She said in a annoyed tone.

"Well, Tata your majesty," discord said.

Then he melted into a puddle of goo and was gone. Even though Celestia didn't react in order for discord to not get a rise out of her, she was panicking, in her mind that is. Luna walked down the hallway and informed Celestia the order was given. And the domes should be done in about more than a week.

Rarity's horn began glowing telling her twilight was calling her, she quickly grabbed a mirror and casted the spell twilight taught her, after the mirror fogged up, an image of twilight appeared.

"Why hello darling." She said to twilight.

"Hi rarity, how are you." Twilight asked.

"Oh, other than what we saw the other day terrifying me beyond compare, I'm doing fine." Rarity answered with a slight sarcastic tone.

"Ok, glad to know your alright, how's Fluttershy" she asked.

"Not good darling, after rushing towards the boutique, she refused to open the door to the guest room except for when I bring food for her but then she slams it back shut." Rarity replied,

Suddenly the image of twilight began to flicker.

"Sorry rarity, the spells wearing off, I'll talk later" twilight said quickly.

Then the mirror fogged up and rarity saw her reflection again.

"Oh well, I better continue working on that dress." She said to herself. "But first, I must bring Fluttershy dinner."

She walked to plate that had a hay burger, sunflowers, and cucumbers on it, took it to Fluttershy's room.

"Fluttershy, food." She said in a sing song voice.

Much like the last three times, Fluttershy's, opened the door, took the food, said "thank you", and closed the door back, all in the blink of an eye. Rarity sighed.

"Fluttershy, please come out, the ghouls connot get you if they're fenced off." She begged.

"No, they're scary and mean." Fluttershy said back.

"Honestly, first nightmare night, now everyday." Rarity complained.

"If need be, then yes." Fluttershy's said in a stern voice, the same one she uses when her animals act bad.

"Well ok, tell me if you need anything darling." rarity said back.

Rarity then walked off.

Three days after the command was given to build domes, there have been multiple casualties of medics getting to close, construction ponies falling off the dome and into the quarantine zone, and guards trying to enter, all of which quickly get taken care of. The ghoul count nearly tripled the original amount, the fence was practically bursting from there being so many, a certain part of the fence was warped and bent from the ghouls all dragging and pushing on it when suddenly... It came down, they were free.

Celestia, seeing this all happen from the safety of the royal palace, stared in horror as her worst fear has happened

"No." She said under her breath.
