Changling Love

It had been a long day for all Equestria.  The wedding of Canacde and Shining Armor was tiring for one  thestral in patellar.  Raven Star helped with security and checking for anything that could threaten the wedding, mainly for left over Changlings.

"Ah! I can't believe we were stuck with this job".  Raven Complained to his partner.

His partner was Flash Sentry, a new Royal Guard.

"Hey now, It's not all bad, we just have to stay here until everypony leaves".

Raven shot a glare at him

"At least you have a mare to go home to, I'm just have my pet phoenix".

Flash put his hoof on his shoulder.

"Hey! bro, you'll find that special some pony.  Just be patient".

Raven sighs.

"If you say so".

The pegsas and thestral resumed there watch.

Two hours pass and the wedding and reception was over and ponies were heading home.  The Pegasus and thestral swift was done and they left the castle.

"Hey Flash, wanna get a few drinks"?  Raven asked

"Sorry bro, I promised Sunset Shimmer I'll be home after work, maybe another time".

"Okay, see you tomorrow".

The two friends go there serpent ways.  Raven made his way to a nearby bar.  "The Dirty Wing"  He entered and sat were he usually sat.  It was at the corner of the bar.  The bartended greeted him.

"Hey! Raven! the usual today"?

"Ya! the usual Big Al".

Big Al was a unicorn with a tan coat and brown mane and tail.  Raven paid a few bits and he toke his drink to his spot.  He toke a sip.  Big Al toke a sit next to his best friend.

" So, how's was your day"?

"The same bordering stuff, diffent day".

Big Al could see there was something bothering his friend.

"Now Raven, I known you long enough to know when something is bothering you".

He just toke another sip.

"What makes you think that".

"Well your not so down".

Raven sighed

"Ok, I'm tried of being alone, I have no mare friend to care or love me".

"Raven, you can't rush love.  It never works, trust me.  The right mare will come to you when the time is right".

Raven toke a big gulp to finish his drink.  He slammed his glass down.

"Hit me up again"

Big Al went behind the bar and refilled his glass and brought it back to him. He takes another sip.

"The mare of your life will come to you.  Give it time.

"We'll see".

Raven takes another sip.  Big Al goes back behind the bar.

After he toke another sip, one of the bartenders came to him.

"Is this sit taken"?

Raven toke another sip.

"No".

"Mind if I take a sit, you look like you could use some company".

"Be my guest".

The mare toke a sit.

"I've see you come here a lot".

Raven still had his head on the table.

"Ya! so".

"I never see you come with any pony".

"That's because, I don't have much friends".

The mare looked surprised.

"Well, I'll hangout with you".

Raven looked up, letting his the dizziness clear to see mare sitting next of him.  She had a grey coat with a pink mane and tail with emerald eyes.

"Oh! hic, It's you the bartender".

"yep, and I over heard your conversion and well, I'm the same way.  I don't have no friends".

"I see".

"Can you tell me about your self".

"Well my name is Raven Star, I'm a thestral, that is a part of the Royal Guard under the orders of Princess Cadence and Shining Armor.  I live alone with my pet Phoenix Star Flash.  What about you".

"Well, my name is Scarlet Crystal, I'm a earth pony, I've worked here for a couple mouths.  I live alone".

Raven tried to get up but fell of the alcohol.

"OH! umm can you help me"?

Scarlet went to help him to his hooves and placed him on her back to carry him.

"I'll see you tomorrow Big Al".  Scarlet said to her boss.  She made her way though the streets of the Crystal Kingdom with the thestral on her back.  Raven gave her diretions to his place.  They get to his front door.  She placed him on his hooves and he toke out his house key to unlock the door.

"So, are you doing anything tomorrow night"?

Scarlet thought for a moment.

"hmm, I got nothing planned".

Raven toke a deep breath.

"Would you like to go out to eat somewhere"?

"You mean like a date"?

Raven blushed and nodded.

She chuckled and kissed the cheek.

"I'll be here at six".

Raven blushed a bright red.

"G-good night".

"Good night darling".  Scarlet said as she went off toward her home.  Star flew over to him and landed on his back.

"Out of all the mares I asked out.  I feel like she's the one to full the hole in my heart boy.  What do you think".  He asked his Phoenix.

Star just shacked and gave him a look saying I'm hungry.  Raven's Stomach growled

"Hehe, I guess we're both hungry.  Come on boy, lets go see what to have for supper".  He said as he closed his door and went to the kitchen.  Star flew over to the cabert and searched for something for the both of them.  He choose crackers for him and he picked some Noodles for his owner.

"Thanks boy".

He patted his Phoenix on the head.  Star nuzzled him and ate a few crackers.  Raven opened the packet of noodles and poured it in a bowl and placed it in the microwave for ten minutes.  After the timer beeped, he toke out the bowl with his magic.  It was steaming hot.  He waited for it to cool off enough, then he ate his supper.  After there belly's were full, Star flew on his owners back and yawned.  He yawns as well.  He puts the empty bowl in the sink and washed it, then he and Star headed upstairs to bedroom.  When they get to his room, Star flew over to his little porch and went in and fell asleep. Raven climbed in his bed.

"Good night Star".

He fell fast asleep.
