Changling Love

Celestia's morning sun beamed though the window of the thestrals room.  His Phoenix flew on his head pecked him to get up.

"hmmm! Star, five more minutes".

Star rolled his eyes and flew to the bathroom to get a cup of cold water and flew back to him and dumped it on him.

"Ahhh! ok! ok! I'm up.  What time is it"?

The Phoenix pointed his wing to the clock.  It said 11:25 AM.

"Ok, I guess I slept in.  Come on, lets get some breakfast".

Star flew on his owners back and they went down stairs.

"So, what do you want to eat buddy"?

The Phoenix flew to the cupboard and opened it to look.  He choose Raven's favorite cereal and a some oats for him self.

"Thank you".

The thestral went to get a bowl and poured some cereal in It.  Then he went to the fridge and got some milk and grab a spoon and a cup and went back to the table.  He poured the milk on his cereal then poured some in his glass.  He toke a bite of his cereal enjoying the sugary taste.  After a couple minutes, he and Star finished eating, Raven put his bowl in the sink and went to grabbed his armor and his amulet.

"Ok, Star.  I'll be back around 5:30 to get ready for my date.  You stay out of trouble ok".  He told his Phoenix as he rubbed under his chin.

The phoenix nodded and Raven lift for his swift.  It didn't take him long to get to the Crystal Empire were Flash was waiting for him.

"Hey Raven!  How are you this morning"?

"I'm ok, you"?

Flash noticed he was happy.

"Well, your in a good mood today".

"That's because I have a date tonight".

Flash hugged his friend.

"See I told you".

They enter the Castle to report to there surpior.   They see him looking at some notes.

"Good Morning you two".

"Good morning sir".  They say at the same time.

The pony grabbed a report and gave it to them.

"Apparently, we've had reports that there is a Changling hiding somewhere in the Kingdom.  We don't think that there intions are hostile, but keep a eye out, just in case".

"Yes Sir".  They said as the go to there post.

Flash broke the silence after a hour without a word.

"So, who's the mare"?

"Her name is Scarlet Crystal, she's a bartender at "The Dirty Wing".

"Really, I never seen no mare named Crystal there before".

"She's only worked there for a month".

"ok"!

5:30 came and Raven said good bye to Flash and headed home to get ready for his date.

"Good luck bro"  Flash said.

Raven got to his home and opened the door to be greeted by Star.

"Hey boy, wanna snack before my date gets here"?

The phoenix nodded and landed on his back and they made there way to the kitchen.

Star grabbed him self some oats and he went back to his cage.  A few minutes later, the door bell rang.  Raven opened the door to see Scarlet.  She smiled once she saw him

"Hi Raven, you ready.

"Yep"!

Raven locked his door and the two of them went to town.  It didn't take them long to get to the place Raven wanted to go.  The Fancy Pony".

"I've never been here before".  Scarlet stated.

"I don't come her much, I just wanted our first date to be at a nice place".

They enter and take there sits.  The waitress comes to take there order.

"What can I get for you two tonight"?

Raven looked at the menu.

"I'll have a hay burger and fries".

The waitress wrote down his order and waited for Scarlet's. She was still looking.

"I'll have a salad".

Ok, your orders should be ready soon".

The waitress wrote her order and went to put the notes over the kitchen.  After awhile there food came and they enjoyed there dinner.  Raven paided the bill and they leave.  Raven and Scarlet went to a near by park to watching the moon rise and the sunset.  When they pasted a flower bush, Raven picked one and put it in Scarlet's mane.  She smiled.  They get to a spot and lay on the grass and look up and the night sky.  Scarlet broke the slince.

"This day was so great.  I never had this much fun".

Raven get closer to her.

"I had fun to.  Too bad it's almost over.  I enjoy spending time with you".  Raven added

Scarlet blushed as they looked in each others eyes.  Raven closed the gap a little more.  Then there lips meet.  It only lasted for a few seconds but it feat like forever.  They blushed.

"R-Raven".

"Yes Scarlet".

"Can you be my lover"?

Raven thought for a moment.

"Yes, I will be your lover".

They held each other close.   After what feat likew forever Raven walked Scarlet home.

"This was the best night I even had".  Scarlet said

"Me to".

They said there goodbyes and gave each other a good night kiss and Scarlet went in her house and Raven Toke off towards his house.  Did he finally find a mare who will love him for him.  His thoughts were cut short we had ran into a unicorn Station.

"Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention".

The station spoke with a voice Raven knew.

"Raven, what are you doing out so late".

He saw it was Shining Armor.

"Oh! sorry  Shining Armor sir, I was on a date".

Shining chuckled

"Ok, I'll see you in the morning".

"Good night".

They go there serpent ways.  Raven got to his house and unlocked it, and entered to be greeted by Star.

"Hi boy, were you good for Berry".

He nodded and a pink mare came by him.

"He was a good boy Raven, how was your date"?

"It was fine Berry Punch.  Thank you for taking care of Star for me".

"No problem, you are my bbff after all".  Berry said and she hugged him and she made her way to her home.

"Boy, I think I found a mare who will love me for who I'm".

Star was fast asleep on his owners back.  Raven chuckled and made his way upstairs with the phoenix on his back.  He went to Star's cage and put him in and went to his bed and crawled in and under the covers.   He closed his eyes and let sleep take him.

The next morning Raven awakes with the sound of his door bell ringing.

"Hmmm who can the be at this time".

It rang again.  Raven got out of bed slowly still half asleep and made his way down stairs.  Who ever was at the door was knocking now.

"I'm coming I'm coming".  He yelled.

He unlocked his door and opened to see a pink Unicorn mare.

"Princess Candace,  What brings you here"?

"I just wanted to think you for your security hours you did at my wedding".

"I was just doing my job your highness".

"You did it well.  I have to go.  See you around Raven".

Canade leaves and Raven sees Star was on his back waiting for his breakfast.  They make there way to the kitchen and ate some breakfast..  After his finished Raven didn't have to work so he decided to go for a walk around the kingdom and pick up a few things.

"Ok boy, I won't be long.  I have a few eras to run".  He pats his Phoenix and leave towards town.
