Spike's Destiny: Equestria's Guardian

You Arrive back at Starlight's village from teleporting away from the battle with Discord. You find Applebloom talking with The Equestria Defenders , that was until she saw you and ended up galloping towards you kissing you deeply. Applebloom pulled away smiling up at you, she had look of relief on her face.

"Im so happy your alive." Applebloom blushed as suddenly remembered Everypony else was watching.

You smile at shake your head laughing lightly to yourself. "Well it looks like we have an unexpected ally."

Watching Applebloom beautiful smile turn into a sad frown that almost broke your heart. "That good because we have a big problem."

"Why, what's happened?" You put hoof on her cheek.

"The Changeling's were here and." Applebloom burst into tears, she couldn't bring her self to finish the sentence

You Bring Applebloom into a deep hug trying to calm her down "Shhh, tell me what's happened?" You spoke as softly as you could.

Agile was in floods of tears while Apple Charm did her best calm her down. Blazing Diamond stared blankly at the floor in shock.

Nightfall and Ace trotted forward. "Scootaloo's gone!" Nightfall and Ace looked at each other in fear, they we're scared of your reaction.

The shock its your system first making your go wide but soon anger took over. You carefully hand Applebloom over to her daughter as you calmly walk over to Ace. You smile making ace relax before hitting Ace in the jaw making him hit the snow hard. Nightfall was about to stop you until Agile and Diamond held him back given you the space to teach Ace a lesson for letting their Mum die. Ace putt had to his muzzle, he looked down seeing blood on his hoof then back up at you with anger. But before Ace could get back to retaliate, you turn around giving him a hard buck to the Stomach push him across the ground his back landed into a wall of a house.

"YOU HAD ONE JOB! PROTECT SCOOTALOO AT ANY COST!" Your voice was filled with anger, rage and passion.

Ace got up feeling like he had just been hit by a train at full speed, his stomach hurt like hell but he wasn't gonna let you get away without standing his ground at least. "You wanna go! then come on! show me what you got!"

"Oh ill show you." You mumble to your self as you gallop at Ace, at speed that Applejack would be proud of.

"NO! STOP!" Nightfall shouted as she tried to get out Shindig tight grip.

"Get him Anon!" Agile cheer on in anger while Apple Charm pulled her back

You charge at Ace hoping knock him off his hooves, But unfortunately Ace was expecting that and dodged out of the way while kicking out delivering a Blow to your side making you skid across the snow. Your hooves instantly go to your side, the pain was strong but it wasn't going to stop you. While you we're down Ace tries to jump on but you grab hold of him with magic and throw him into a window house. You got up as you still holding your side you grabbed hold of Ace again and pulled him out of the and threw back over to the others.

Agile and Blazing finally let go of Nightfall letting him go to his husband, Ace was covered in cuts, scratches and bruises. You finally calmed down and saw the extent of your damage on Ace, you felt bad, annoyed and angry at your self for letting get that bad. You decided to go into one of the house to be alone.

"Anon!" Applebloom called out trying to get you to come back.

"Its okay, ill go." Shindig made her way after you.

As soon as Shindig was in the house called for you. "Leave me alone!" Shindig followed the sound of your voice up stairs. Shindig found you sitting in the corner of in the same room that Scootaloo was kept in. You stared at the bed not even looking at your daughter as she entered the room. A million thoughts ran through your head as you stared at the bed you just didn't know what was going to come out first. "I should of stayed." You said out loud.

"You had your orders!" Shindig argued.

"I know, but maybe if I had surgusted staying then maybe she would be alive."

"You wasn't to know and it wasn't your fault it was Ace's" Shindig put a hoof on your shoulder trying to comfort you. "it was his job to protect Scootaloo and he failed!"

"I know but I went to far on him."

"No you didn't, he's got a few scratches and nothing more that's it! This just means you have more Ponies to deal out revenge for."

You smile up at Shindig knowing she right. "You know you get all this optimism from your mother."

Shindig Smiled sadly. "I know."

You pull Shindig over giving her a kiss on the forehead and hugging her tightly.

"Anon!" Two voice called out.

"In here!" You reply letting go of Shindig

Agile and Blazing Diamond enter the room, their eyes were all red from where they had been crying "We just wanted to thank you for supporting our family. It means a lot." Blazing began to start crying again.

"It was nothing. your Dad has been the best friend I could of asked for. And your Mum was... is quite an amazing Mare." You Smile softly at the pair. "Im jut afraid of what your Dad is going to do, when Finds out."

Sunset's House.

Sunset awoke to a massive hangover her head felt like it was going to explode, she tried to get up something or someone held on tightly and wouldn't let her get up. Sunset fear who she had slept with last night, she turned her head slowly to find Princess Twilight next to her.

"Oh no." Sunset whispered.

Twilight grinned at hearing Sunsets reaction. "Morning Sunny."

Sunsets sat up her eyes go wide hear Twilights "How long have you been awake for?"

"An Hour." Twilight answered casually.

"You Don't seem to have an hang over, so... do you mind refreshing my mind."

"Of course, the long and the short of it is... we're engaged!"

"What!" Sunset freaked out.

Twilight giggled at Sunset reaction "Just kidding, every one had left to go sleep in the front room and you we're... Quite drunk and instead I stayed here so you could make feel good for night. Well that's what you said any way." Twilight Smiled sitting up.

"Oh Celestia, Im so sorry Twilight." Sunset hid behind her hands.

"Why? it was Pretty good for one night stand." Twilight elbow Sunset inside smiling defusing the atmosphere."Now could you help find me my clothes and help me to the Bathroom? I wanna get washed be before I do any thing else."

"Sure" Sunset looked all around here room picking up all of Twilights clothes and giving to her before helping her to the Bathroom.

"Thanks Sunset." Twilight Closed the door letting Sunset go back to her room so she could put on a new fresh clothes and head down Stairs.

Sunset found everyone in the kitchen already eating breakfast, She greeted everyone in her normal manner sitting at the table hopping she wouldn't arouse any unwanted Questions.

"Morning!" Everyone replied simultaneously.

Breakfast was all laid out on the table, Sunset reached out for a bowl and poured her self some cereal and began to start eating thinking about what she had Twilight had done.

"So... how was sex?" Rainbow bluntly asks making Sunset spit out her breakfast and Fluttershy's cheeks went red as she hid behind her hair.

"Rainbow Dash! Don't be so crass!" Rarity scolded.

"What I only asked." Rainbow Stopped talking seeing Princess making her down the stairs.

"Everyone ready?" Twilight asks, walking towards the table.

"Ready for What?" Applejack asks confused.

"I wanna go get Spike now."

"Oh come Twilight he'll be fine in there just for a minute." Rarity tried to relax Twilight.

"Spike isn't just some Dog he is my Best Friend, my King, Leader trying to fight back for all of Equestria. If you girls wont go with me ill go alone." Twilight huffed as she walked over to the door and puts on her winter coat.

"Don't be stupid Twilight im coming as well." Rainbow's put joined Twilight as she put on her own winter clothes.

"Once again Twilight and Rainbow headed out towards the vet's to collect Spike. Twilight just wanted to see Spike, she hoped the operation worked and that he would have a brand new claw. It had Snowed heavily through out the night and reached half way between the knee and the foot.

Rainbow cleared her throat about to talk braking the silence. "How was sex with Sunset?" Rainbow asks smirking.

Twilight Smiled knowing what Rainbow was trying to do; Twilight knew that Rainbow wanted to get some sort of reaction out of her. "It was amazing! Sunset is a best in the Sack!"

Rainbow frowned upset she wasn't able to get a reaction out of Twilight, but Rainbow was also sort of proud of Twilight for not reacting to it. Rainbow could really see for the first time how grown up Twilight is now. Rainbow thought about mention it but decided against it, instead decided to walk with Twilight helping to get to the vets

Twilight sat nervously in the Waiting room with Rainbow waiting for her name to be called. Twilight sat playing with her skirt as nerves took over along with her thoughts. "What if the operation had failed! What if Spike had died during the operation!" She didn't have to wait long as they called her name soon after.

As soon as Twilight walked through the door Spike started barking happily and ran over to her put his new metal paw on Twilight leg letting her know where he was. Spike kept his word and acted like a real Dog through out the time he was here.

Twilight smiled hearing Spikes bark and feeling his paws on her leg, She picked Spike up cuddling him. "Its good to see you too boy!"

"You can take him home the operation went great, His all clear and his been fed." Mr Shy smiled as writ something down on his clipboard.

"Thanks Sir, it means a lot!" Twilight and Rainbow waved Mr Shy goodbye.

"Its no problem just make sure he gets into no more fights" Mr Shy waved back.

Spike waited until he was outside to talk. "Do you know how hard it was act like a mindless Dog!"

"Well its all over now Buddy." Rainbow stated.

"How's the new paw feeling?" Twilight asked concerned.

"Its feel great thanks, But I really wanna get back home asap we've taken too much time away." Spike told Twilight with determined tone.

"Well okay we just go get the girls, they are back at Sunset's." Twilight told Spike a bit upset that he didn't say thanks.

"Cant they meet us at the Portal? Im quite eager to get going." Spike asks not wanting to be a pain but he want to back as soon as possible knowing the others are alone.

"Sure ill give them a call." Rainbow offered pulling out her phone.

Spike looked up at Rainbow smiling "Cheers Rainbow."

"No Problem Spike." Rainbow rubbed Spikes head, making Spike shake Rainbow off causing her to laugh.

Spike, Twilight and Rainbow fell a sleep waiting by the portal for the rest of the girls. Twilight and Rainbow were shearing Earbuds listening to music on Rainbows phone sitting a top of the statue stand while cuddling for warmth. Spike sat looking at new metal Arm while he thought about home, Scootaloo came straight into his mind. He hoped she was alright, Spike didn't like the idea of leaving Scootaloo alone for so long, but Spike knew he needed his new arm. "After all of this mess is done with im going to give Agile and Diamond more attention, I feel I've neglected them." Spike thought with tinge of sadness.

Spike lifted his head and ears hearing foot steps approaching in the snow, making Spike get up. Spike was expecting to see the rest of the girls making their way back, but was disappointed when only seeing the out line of three girls. Spike huffs out frustration, he hated waiting it killed him knowing that Scootaloo could be in trouble. Spike was about to put his head down until he heard unmistakeable sound he hadn't heard in long time.

"How did you know they'll even be here?"

Spike lifted his head up instantly look back at the three girls. They had came closer and Spike could now see their faces. "The Dazzling's!"

The three Sirens look over at Spike making him go into a defensive pose growling . "Calm Down mutt where not here to fight." Adagio sighed sadly.

At the same time the rest of the girls had arrived at the statue. They saw the Dazzling's near Spike and ran over instantly to protect him. Fluttershy Picked him up and held him closely to her chest, forgetting who Spike was and what he had gone through.

"What do you girls want?" Applejack asked harshly asked harshly.

"We want to go home!" Sonata whined.

Rainbow and Twilight started stir, Rainbow was first to open her eyes while stretching her arms and yawning. She looked over at the girls see the Dazzling's were there she woke twilight up.

"Twilight I think you should wake up now." Rainbow shook Twilight should until she woke up

"Have the girls arrived?" Twilight yawned.

"Yes and but so have the Sirens!" Rainbow help Twilight up before standing.

"What! Whereas Spike?" Twilight asks worried.

"Its okay Fluttershy has him. now what do you Sirens?"

"For the second time today all we want is to go home. no taking over the world, no feeding off hate we just want home." Aria crossed her arms she was tired cold and hungry which made her even more mad.

"Its alright Aria ill deal with this." Adagio put her hand on her friend's shoulder reassuring her before looking over at Twilight. "Twilight from Equestria can I talk to you alone."

"Sure I guess." Twilight walked over to the sound where Adagio had been talking and continued to follow the sound of her foot steps

"Be careful Twilight." Spike warned sounding worried. Twilight stopped turned to Spike give him a nod before following Adagio again

"Why were you guys so late?" Rainbow asked annoyed that friends left her waiting in the snow.

"Yeah! Do you know how long we were waiting?" Spike asked full well knowing they knew the answer.

Applejack gave Rarity a dirty look "Sorry ya'll, but someone had fuss 'n fritter over her looks. Didn't they?"

"Well if its crime to look good for species I haven't even met before then you'll better lock me up now." Rarity huffed sounding hurt.

"Are you KIDDING ME!" Spike's out burst made Fluttershy put him down, allowing Spike to run over to Rarity. "We. are. at. WAR! Scootaloo is waiting for me! Do you get that? My dying Wife is waiting on me! My Colt and Filly are waiting! The entirety of Equestria is waiting for me! AND YOU WASTED OUT BY MAKING YOUR SELF LOOK PRETTY! YOU DONT KNOW HOW HARD IVE FOUGHT TO KEEP EVERYONE ALIVE! ...And if we're too late and somepony has died then ill make you pay for it!" After threatening Rarity, Spike left to go be with Twilight to calm down.

No one had Seen Spike that angry it surprised and shocked everyone. Rarity recoiled as his words, they hit her like cement block. She could believe how incentive she had been as tears filled her eyes. "Sp-Spike wait!"

After the shock Rarity tried to go after Spike, but Human Twilight stopped Rarity in her tracks "Its okay let him go. If he's anything like my Spike he just needs some time with his Twilight."

Rarity broke down into tears in Twilights arms "I didn't mean to hurt him."

"Looks like their friendship isn't that great after all." Aria teased with a smirk

"Don't start Aria!" Sonata pleaded.

"Fine! I'll keep Quiet, for now." Aria pouted.

Spike found Twilight and Adagio sitting on a bench talking calmly to each other. "So does she know everything yet?" Spikes sounding annoyed.

Twilight turned her head to the sound of Spike. "Yes she's all caught up, but she wants to ask you for something first. I said I couldn't answer it, it had to be down to you of course."

"I cant believe im asking a Dog this." Adagio muttered to her self before talking to Spike. "My King Spike please may we come back home we miss it so much. We miss our friend's, our families we cant survive here on our own."

Spike was caught off guard he hadn't been called king in such along time and wasn't sure if she was trustworthy yet. "Well first off we're in the middle of a war-"

"I want to help with the war and get my own back on Star Swirl. Believe or not me and my friends weren't bad as the book would have you believe. we didn't feed of the hate of ponies quite the opposite we would make them happy and joyful and feed off that." Adagio sighed as came to the part she wasn't proud of. "But our Powers could also do the opposite and possess people as you are well aware of the last time we met. And When Star Swirl found that our gems could do that he want them and when Refused, well he Banished us here away from our families." Adagio glanced sadly at the floor as images of home flittered through her thoughts

Spike wasn't shock by the news, with the way Star Swirl/ is now it just made you think how many more of his stories are complete rubbish. But he did have one question for Adagio. "If you can feed on Happiness, then why didn't you do it here as well."

"We Tried but it didn't feed us well, we almost starved to death. But when we tried hate it worked so much better for us and it lead us down a dark path we couldn't get out of until you guys came along. Im just glad that he didn't find the spare gems we head hidden away." Adagio sighed out of happiness.

"Wait did you just say you have extra gems hid Equestria. as in the same as the ones as before?" Spike asked as plan started to form in his head.

"Yeah their just sitting in the waters of a house back home ." Adagio answered.

"And you promise, you wont cause any trouble?" Spike trusted Adagio but he didn't feel right if he didn't ask one more time.
"I promise we just want to go home."

"Then you can come home-." Spike was interrupted by a very happy Adagio.

"Thank you! You Wont regret it." Adagio felt like hugging the dog but decided against it.

This was a weird side of the siren Spike had never saw. "I know I wont but while we talk to our friends why don't you let your friends know what's happening." Spike surgusted

"Yeah that's a good idea." Adagio admitted not sure how Aria would take the news.

So The three of them made their way back to the rest of the group. Adagio pulled her friends aside While Spike and Twilight let the rest of her friends know everything that had just happened.

"It Makes a lot of sense when you really think about it." Sunset Said aloud to her self which the others agreed too.

Princess Twilight sighed as she didn't feel right if she asked this Question one last time. "Is everyone sure about coming to Ponyville. Its going to be dangerous as all hell you'll be risking your lives. And I wont hold it against you if you want to stay, we're not going to make you do this it is of your own choosing."

"Oh no, you'll not getting rid of me that easily, ya saved this world I would say about twice its about time we saved yours id think."

"I've got your back you two your not facing this with out me."

"ARE YA KIDDING! Were supper besties and if you need help then you Pinkie is with you and 10000 percent! "

"I er... want to help very much, if that's ok that is."

"What kind of friend would I be if I wasn't there for my friends."

"Me and Spike are gonna be out of element but we'll help as much as we can."

"Twilight Equestria is my home and im not letting you and Spike save it with out me."

It was unanimous across the board, her friends were not gonna let them do this alone it made Twilight cry and reminder just how much she missed her friends. "Th-Thank you... it means so, so much to us both." Twilight thanked through her tears. Making the entire group of friends form a group hug.

"Were with you too." Adagio and her friends agreed as they made their way towards them.

"Thank you girls and I promise you I will bring him down" Spike promised in most serious and sincere tone.

"You better!" Adagio threatened.

"Well if we're all good, then we'd better get going we've spent too long here as it is?" Spike asked to which everyone agreed to. "Then lets go." One after the other jumped into the portal into Equestria.

Back in Starlight's village.

You sat at the table eating a breakfast of Apples and oats with a glass of Orange juice from the crop's. Applebloom sat next to you cuddling needing comfort, her breakfast stayed on the table untouched. You look over at Applebloom's breakfast and frown seeing that she hasn't eaten.

"You need to eat, keep your strength up." You tell Applebloom sounding worried.

"Ah don't feel like eating." Applebloom nuzzled into your side.

"I know your hurting right now, but it will get better with time." You kiss Applebloom pulling her into a tighter hug.

Applebloom closed her eyes enjoying the warm embrace. "Im the last Crusader left standing."

"Exactly! You cant give up, Not now." You Smile down at Applebloom. "We must all ways move on from those we have lost in respect for their memories."

"I know but it just hurts so much!" Tears flooded Applebloom's eyes.

"Just take your time."

You sat in the kitchen cuddling Applebloom while Stroking Applebloom cheek, words were not needed anymore. Applebloom took comfort in your reassuring fore legs making her feel safer and stronger at the same time. You were only too happy to be helping sooth her pain away trying to make her happy.

Suddenly the front door slams open revealing a very scared looking Shindig. "Dad! You need to see this NOW!" Shindig drags you outside and points you in the direction she wants to look at.

You rub your eyes in confusion, fear and shock. "Maybe im not getting enough sleep or maybe im dreaming right now." You thought as you saw Twilight and Spike trotting towards you followed by Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, Sunset Shimmer, a Second Twilight and Spike with four other girls you didn't know. But Most of all the way followed by Pinkie Pie the love of your life bouncing a long. You couldn't believe you would see pinkie again, but now your feelings are contradict themselves.

Everyone gathered around to see Spike and Twilight arrive with the rest of Main Six. As soon as Apple Bloom saw Spike she galloped over to him before you could do any thing to stop her. Spike saw Applebloom and Noticed the frown on her face which made his stomach turn inside out.

"Apple Bloom what's wrong?" Spike asks as soon as Apple Bloom was close enough.

"Its Scootaloo she's gone!" And with those four simple words it felt like Spike world was crashing down on him.
