Zapp The Awesome

Morning came in and Dash woke up to her cell phone ringing off the hook. With a dissatisfying groan, Rainbow picked it up the phone and answered it..

"Hello?" asked Dash still half asleep.

The voice on the other end of the line sounded threatening.

"Listen here you rainbow haired freak you just messed with the wrong gang. Between you and that other one who beat up my girl, right now we want your sorry ass to meet us at the hangout on Grover Street and don't think of backing down cause we will find you"

The call dropped with a dial tone replacing it.

Dash dropped her phone on the floor then getting up rather quickly. Knowing who that was on the phone, her hands began to spark again but in fear this time which was still new to her at this point.

Oh man I am in hot water this time I can't believe Gilda got me into this

Dash put on some clean clothes then ran out the door, drove down to Grover Street aka Gang Town. Every known gang lives on this street so Rainbow felt out of place here as parking her car would be a bad idea but she passed by what was a safe place to parked there then taking a deep breath, got out of the car and into an alleyway.

"I'm here! So wherever you are, I'm here now!" shouted Dash.

The remaining gang members stood in front of her as they stepped out of the shadows.

"Your the one who punched out my friend, giving her a broken nose" said one gang member.

"Oh that, you see that was Gilda not me all I did was shove a guy's head into a beer tap barrel" explained Dash.

"Doesn't matter now" They all started cracking their knuckles walking towards Rainbow.

Guess they're nothing left to do but fight

They came rushing her trying to go for a triple punch but a lightning shield shocked them protecting Dash in the process.

"Wow" said Dash.

One got up then started swinging at her as Rainbow avoids them. Dash retaliated by doing a lightning roundhouse kick that knocked him out. Another grabbed her from behind squeezing the life out of her but she turned into a human bug zapper causing him to shock the guy causing him to let her go as he fell to the ground shaking violently.

"Alright who's next?" asked Dash ready for another fight.

The lone girl clenched her fist and charged at her managing to punch Dash twice before the superhero grabbed her hand, forcing her to drop to her knees.

"Please forgive me when I tell you I had nothing to do with what happened at the bar last night" said Dash as she did a high knee to the female gang member knocking her out like the others.

I hope she can find it in her heart to forgive me

As Dash left, from an undisclosed location Gilda gave a sly smirk.

"Now I know what you can do Rainbow Dash I'm sure you'll know the truth soon enough"

Back home, Dash ate a nice plate of nachos while watching a good horror movie but the flash of what she said to that poor girl a few moments ago echoed through her mind. She paused the movie and teared up a bit, feeling animosity and guilt knowing that she could've just stopped her hand then letting her go without having to sink down to their level.

Great I'm just as bad as Gilda

Rainbow decided to go apologize to the girl so she put her nachos down and raced to the door but when she opened it Gilda stood there waving.

"Hey Dash where are you off to?" asked Gilda.

"I'm off to do something very important" responded Dash sharply.

Rainbow tried to move past her but then Gilda injected a dose of morphine causing her friend to fall in her arms.

"Sorry Dash nothing personal" said Gilda carrying Dash before driving away with her.

The next moment Dash woke up chained above a pool of deadly acid.

"Whoa! WHAT THE HELL?!?" shouted Dash frantic as how in the hell she got there in the first place.

"Dash you should've left it alone but you had to push and push so now you'll have to pay" said Gilda down below in a safe area of the building.

Rainbow had to think of a plan and fast.
