Years ago, in the human world it was believed there was no magic at all. Nor would there be any until the two ponies from Equestria crossed over, Sunset and then Princess Twilight. There was some magic, there has always been magic in this world, but not all of it was good, thankfully it wasn't very strong either.

A human who practiced the dark art of necromancy, masquerading as a heavy metal rock star discovered just the tiniest bit of magic that he thought would be enough to fulfill his greatest ambition, all he needed was "a blood sacrifice of hundreds or thousands to prove he his soul was without mercy or purity."

He tried to do just that during a big concert but it failed from the magic being weak. He died as a result and was buried, and life went on. Now however, magic in the human world is stronger than ever...and the once dead evil rock star, is alive again.
