Cupcake & Bubblegum BFFMTF
"Now Cupcake," Bubblegum started, "I've been working on an important project and I do not want it broken. So could you please stay away from it."
"Okie dokie lokie Bubblegum. Where is it though?" I inquired.
"Oh, it's over there." Said Bubblegum, pointing towards a weird looking thing, "Anyway I have to go now, bye Cupcake."
"BYE BUBBLEGUM!" I called waving my hoof like there was no tomorrow. First, relaxation, I turned on my favourite show 'My Little Human' and binge watched the first season for the 24th time and then thought of something else to do, remember to celebrate the 25th time of watching it. "AHHHHHHH!" I screamed while going up and down the lift on the no-safety-use-at-your-own-risk mode I made and kept doing it for a while until the lifts powered down, Opps, I shouldn't have used all the power. Now I have to wait until it powers up again. So I waited for what felt like an hour and then gradually the lift rose up to the top. I quickly became bored so I decided to eat a full tub of ice-cream! "NUM OM NOM NUMNOMMNOUMNUOMNOUMOUMNOUM" I stuffed my muzzle into the tub of ice-cream and ate like crazy, "AHHHHHHHHH BRAIN FREEEEEEEZE!!!!!" I yelled running around and round the room until, CRASH I had tripped over the ice-cream and slammed straight into something that looked like the thing Bubblegum pointed to. "At least it's only in half" I said talking to myself as I picked it up, "I can glue it together as though nothing has happened." I got the glue and started to put it together but my hoofs were shaking and I knocked it off the desk. "MMMMMMFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF" I stuffed my hooves into my mouth to stop me from screaming and then I face-hoofed , "I should have used my magic. STUPID STUPID STUPID CUPCAKE!!." So I levitated the 4 pieces and the glue and started to glue them together but when I put the pieces together I made them smash into each other. "NOOOOOOOO!" I whispered, too shocked to speak while looking at the millions of little pieces on the ground. Bubblegum should be home soon, I looked outside to check my suspicions and there was Bubblegum using the lift to the CAB. Oh no, I'm in big trouble now. I KNOW! I could pretend to just come home now as well. So I went to the other lift and went down a bit and waited for Bubblegum to fully arrive.
"CUPCAKE!" Bubblegum called out, "where are you?"
"Oh. Hi Bubblegum I just came back as well." I said while coming up the other lift.
"Ahhh Cupcake, you look kinda nervous. Anyway where were you?"
Come on Cupcake. THINK THINK THINK. "Ahhhh I was doing... BOWLING YES I WAS TOTALLY BOWLING!" I nervously shouted trying to be my normal self.
"I did't know you liked bowling. Maybe we could do some this afternoon."
"Sorry I couldn't because..." Cupcake what are you doing!?!? Stop lying!. "I have a rollerskating competition to do. Hehehehehe." I nervously laughed.
"Really?" Bubblegum looked at me for a while, "I didn't know that you did that either. Imagine what other things you might be hiding from me. Hey I had an idea, could I watch?"
"Nononononono you couldn't because..." This is bad, this is bad. YES! I KNOW! "because nopony can watch other than the judges or else it could be ah... BIASED, VERY BIASED INDEED!! Also I'm just nervous about the competition not anything else like if I broke someponies project or anything!"
"Cupcake. Why do you have a crazy look in your eyes as though you aren't telling me something?"
Not good! She sounds suspicious. "NO REASON, NO REASON AT ALL!! Hehehehehehe. Got to go" I said speeding off. Bubblegum suddenly stopped me. "What was that for?"
"Just that I thought you might like a drink of coffee before you go. Ya know, to give you more energy."
Phew that was good, and it will stay good as long as-"NO! DON'T GO IN THERE" I yelled as Bubblegum walked towards the living room.
"Why?" She asked. Ok deep breaths Cupcake, stay calm, "Cupcake are you going to answer?" I really hate it when I run out of ideas. Especially in this situation, "Ok, um I'm just going to make some coffee now soooo, see you in a bit" Bubblegum said while walking into the room. "WHAT?" She exclaimed, "Somepony broke this, Cupcake. Who in Equestria would do that? And how in Equestria did they do it? Because you installed the anti-teleport spell with the help of Twilight and I have voice recognition in the lift's once they haven't been in use for a while."
"I don't know" I said quickly avoiding eye contact, "but I need to get to the competition. So seeya!" And with that I ran off. I went to Sugarcube Corner to wait off the afternoon and eat cupcakes.
"Cupcake, what are you doing here?". WHAT NOOO BUBBLEGUM. You're not meant to be here.
"The competition was cut short because... Theeeere, were less ponies than they expected. I'm a bit tired so I'll just head back to the CAB!"
I galloped towards the CAB, quickly used the lifts and went to bed. It's been such a stressful day. Can't imagine it would be healthy to be stressed for a whole day. But what if I tell Bubblegum and she never want's to be my friend. What if I never tell her though, will I have to do this forever? Decisions are sooooo hard. and with a great big sigh I went to sleep.
"CUPCAKE!" Bubblegum shouted, "WHY DID YOU BREAK MY PROJECT AND LIE TO ME!"
"I'm sorry, I just-"
"NO EXUSES. You're not my friend ANYMORE!!!!!" Bubblegum trotted towards the lift.
"NO BUBBLEGUM. I'm sorry." I started to cry.
"Too late!" With that Bubblegum went up the lift and flew the now called the OB (Only Bubblegum) away.
"BUBBLEGUM, BUBBLEGUM, BUBBLEGUM, BUBBLEGUM" I shouted, each shout growing weaker and weaker.
"Yes Cupcake. What do you want?" Bubblegum said. I woke up startled and sweating and I stared at Bubblegum. "What? You were calling for me. You don't look so good, and you feel really hot. Are you sick?"
"No. I don't think so." Several minutes passed before I spoke again, "Bubblegum."
"Yes Cupcake."
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure you can ask me anything."
"If I broke your project, would you never be my friend?"
"Noooo, I would always be your friend no matter what Cupcake. Remember? I signed the Cupcake And Bubblegum BFFMTF treaty."
"Yeah. But what would you do if I broke it?"
"I would clean up the mess and ask you to help me make another one."
"Oh" I started to cry, "Because I broke your project and lied to you all of yesterday because I thought you would be really angry at me and I feel terrible because of that and I'm sorry." Bubblegum wrapped her hooves around me and gave me a big hug.
"Cupcake. You know I would never be really angry unless it was on purpose. Just show me where you left it and we can make another one."
"Yeah." I sniffed, "I'm happy to have such a good friend as you, Bubblegum."
"Me too Cupcake." Then we hugged again for a long time. This feels right. It feels good. I shouldn't have lied before, that was bad. "Can you show me the pieces" Bubblegum asked. So I walked over to the millions of bits on the ground and gestured towards them.
"There they are. I'm so sorry I broke it." Then Bubblegum started to laugh. "What? Why are you laughing? I thought you might be a little sad."
Bubblegum wiped a tear of laughter from her eye, "Because... It's just my old coffee maker that I got out to fix!" And then she started laughing again when she looked at my face. "The-ha- pro-ho-ject is in the-he-re. "Bubblegum was trying to talk while laughing, "behind the fake wall."
"Oh." That's all I could say, then I flopped down beside Bubblegum and started to giggle as well.

"Bubblegum!" I whispered in her ear.
"CUPCAKE!" She whispered back, "how many times do I have to tell you. DON'T WAKE ME UP AT 0:01am!"
"But it's a new day Bubblegum" I reasoned with her, "anyway I have something important to tell you..." I paused to let the effect settle in, "I have done something that I regret and if we don't destroy the evidence, well... I've said to much, just come." Bubblegum got up and followed me down the lift while drinking some coffee. "SHHHH, they might hear us soon slurpy sounds!"
"Sorry" Bubblegum whispered back. We walked in hushed silence through the quiet town of Ponyville until I spotted a stallion in a black suit.
"Bubblegum. Quickly hide!" I said while shoving Bubblegum into a rubbish disposal container. The stallion walked up to me, "Hi stallion guy what brings you to Ponyville?"
"That is strictly confidential information but I have come here to ask you the same thing" He said in a deep voice.
"I'm totally not doing something suspicious at all !" I grinned, "So you best be on your way ok?"
"Eeyup" the stallion said as he walked away.
"What was that about?" Bubblegum said as she hauled herself out of the dump. I stifled a snigger as I saw a banana piece stuck to her mane.
"It was nothing at all. I might tell you later though." I said quickly. "Anyway follow me. We're going to the Everfree Forest!"
"Really well ok" Bubblegum agreed. So we trotted to the Everfree Forest and all the while I was pointing things out to Bubblegum.
"Oooh camouflage pressure plate. Careful, hidden pit. Don't step on the spikes!" I said while dancing around the traps.
"It's not fair!" Bubblegum complained, "how come you get a Cupcake Sense and I don't?"
"Beeeecause... I'm special!" I said. "Quickly somepony's coming. Hide in the mud" I gestured towards a pool of mud.
"Fine" I heard Bubblegum grumble as she slowly sank into the mud and took a reed to breath through.
"Hello Cupycakey! What brings you here!" A mare in black said.
"I am doing nothing out of the ordinary at all. So continue on you assignment." I said with and extra wide grin.
"Okie dokie lokie agent sprinkles!" The mare giggled as she bounced away happily. Bubblegum gasped for breath as she rose out of the mud.
"Cupcake! Why mud?!" Bubblegum growled while brushing the mud off most of the mud from her coat. I saw the mud still stuck to her back.
"Bubblegum, the building is this way." I said gesturing for her to follow.
"But we're in the middle of the Everfree Forest. We're miles away from any buildings!" She said angrily
"Bubblegum, I have to tell you something." I said in a hushed voice, "I'm a secret agent working for PON-E standing for Preventing Overall Neutralisation of Equestria. And I did something I regret during a mission and they noted it down on my files. If the inspector looks through my files he will kick me out and erase my memories of PON-E! So I have to burn the file and get our without anypony noticing and I'm good."
"But PON-E is just a conspiracy theory made by crazy ponies!" Bubblegum argued.
"No. It is real and I'm in serious trouble. So are you going to help me or not?" I said in my most serious voice ever.
"Ok." She sighed.
"What are you waiting for then? A cupcake? The HQ is this way!" I said dragging Bubblegum behind me. We galloped deeper into the Everfree Forest and found a small green building with PON-E engraved on the door. "Let's go in!" I accidentally shouted and bucked open the door. An alarm started to sound. "Bubblegum! Fly up there and press the button to turn off the alarm ASAP."
"Ok." She said nervously looking at the swinging saw blades and the spike shooters.
"GOOOOOOO!" I shouted at Bubblegum, and she instantly flew up. She dodged and swerved around the first 2 saw blades, then she flew under the third narrowly missing the spikes, and out of nowhere another pair of spikes hit Bubblegum and bounced off. Bubblegum reached the button and hit it. All the dangerous things instantly disappeared and the annoying alarm turned off.
"Cupcake. Why did the spikes bounce off me when they hit me?"
"Uuuuum... Non-lethal spikes?" I shot her a giant guilty looking grin. I could see the paint splotches that the spikes left and the rest of her. She looked ridiculous! "Bubblegum follow me!" I said, pointing towards the trapdoor.
"Fine." She glared at me. I must have annoyed her, oops. We hopped down the trapdoor and found ourselves in a room full of paper.
"Bubblegum, you look at the files over there and I look over here." I said while trying hard not to laugh. Bubblegum looked through the files on the other side of the room, what she didn't realise was that every time she touched a piece of paper, the ink rubbed off onto her hooves! "I found It!" I shouted, "now, we burn it," and I took a lighter and brung it to the file, the paper burst into flames. "Oh no!" I gasped, "they are coming, we're doomed!" We heard hoof steps above the trapdoor, the trapdoor creaked open. Bubblegum looked horrified at me.
"APRIL FOOLS!!!" The ponies shouted while holding a mirror in front of Bubblegum.
"I look like an absolute mess" Bubblegum laughed, "just one thing. It's not April it's March! The 28th!" All the ponies looked confused.
"But the town clock says it's April the first!" I said.
Suddenly Rainbow Dash flew in and yelled. "Got ya! I changed the clock to April just to cause a lot of pranks!" RainbowDash doubled over in laughter while flying. We all looked at Rainbow and started to laugh.
