Inner Demons

Luna gazed at her beloved night after raising the moon. She was glad to know that she wasn't the only one appreciating it.  Changing was hard, and Luna had a lot of trouble fighting her past, but with her friends by her side, she knew that nothing could knock her down. Luna channeled her magic and teleported  herself to a dreamscape.

This dream was a black void. In the corner, there stood a pony crying and shaken from the fear of the shadowy, evil monster who was torturing her. Luna knew this pony very well. She visited her dreams often to cure her nightmares. Luna used her magic to cut the dark creature into two, making it disappear into thin air.

"Luna!" The pony breathed,

"Violet," Luna flew down to approach the pony. "You really must learn to keep your demon in control."

"I... I can't," Violet said. "I can't control it. It's like it's a part of me, I can't get rid of it no matter what I do."

"Then I suggest you should join my school," Luna said.

"School?" Violet questioned.

"The one I've been talking about for the past week. You can still apply, I can even make you my personal pupil. It would help you so much if you would even at least consider it," Luna responded.

Violet looked away and casted her gaze into the darkness in front of her. "I can't, Luna. I'm a shadow of darkness, a monster, a freak. Nopony wants to be around me because of... this. I was meant to be alone."
