About fighting the enemy ace Schnitter, Aaron becomes even more focused up in the skies since taking to the skies with Nicholas, after they go separate ways to fend of enemy attack to Canterlot and the nearby air base. Now, Aaron is fighting by himself as he goes head-to-head dogfight with the enemy ace.

Aaron and the enemy ace circles around up in the skies, about seventy yards away from eachother. Aaron and Shadow Blade looks onto eachother, showing the rivalry between them just felt intense. "Alright, scumbag." Aaron said to himself, "It`s you and me!"

"Let`s see how well that pilot can fight!" Shadow grins, as he turns his Typhoon as he heads to the enemy pilot head-on. Aaron turns to face him as well.

As they got in gun range, Aaron and Shadow fires their planes guns at eachother, only Aaron took small hits. But Shadow took six or five bullets on his plane, four on the left wing, and two around the cockpit. The pilots flew past eachother. Shadow and Aaron exchange glares. Shadow`s shocked to realize that the pilot, is a boy.

Shadow looks around, seeing bullet holes on his planes wing and side of his cockpit. He also knew that in same time while going head-to-head against that pilot, didnt take any amounts of hits.

"How did he avoid getting shot to the cockpit? And who`s that boy?" Shadow said angrily, knowing that he barely hit the enemy, but he has instead. His mind clicked with a thought, wondering, 'Is he some type of "super-pilot"?'

Getting hold of his grip, Shadow became angrier, frustrated that he took some scratchs for the first time during his military career. "Of all the aerial combat!" He yells at himself, "That pilot just outfight me?! Give me a damn break!"

Aaron looks back, and see the enemy pilot turns his plane back to face him, he turns back at him, as he increases his speed. "Alright, you S.O.B!" Aaron said, "Come on and let`s go again!"

Seeing that he`s coming at him; challenging him, Shadow grins, "Oh, you want to go again, huh?! Fine by me!" He thrusts at him head-on.

As they`re about to get in gun range, Shadow fires. But this time, Aaron fires a missile at him. Shadow, shocked and scared, immediately avoided getting a hit by his missile. After evaded the missile, Shadow and Aaron flew past each other, as their eyes connected at eachother in slow motion. It was intense glares they shared for a split second.

After they separate, Shadow was shocked of the pilot hes fighting against, it was a kid. A human kid Piloting a jet and fought like hes an ace.

"How can this be?!" He urges in shock, "A kid flew in a dogfight, and managed to keep on coming at me with all he got?!"

Then, it clicked. The young pilot he looked closer in his head, he can tell that he`s autistic, and he can learn quickly. The pilot (Aaron), to him, is like a 'super-pilot'.

"Is he some type of pilot that never flew before, but handles things quickly?" Shadow shook with shock. But as he got hold of his state that he had for the first time, he felt his rage increases to unprecedented level, beyond outrage.

"HOW CAN A KID CAN TAKE A SUPERIOR ACE?! HOW DARE HIM?!" He yells in state of rage, as he turns back and sees the pilot is heading back to the base.

Vowing to get his vengeance, hes not gonna allow some type of kid pilot to get away when he humiliating him. "Youre gonna pay, you little punk!"

His wingman, Dimitri Asulf, calls onto him, "Shadow! It`s too dangerous to engage the enemy with only you out there! Turn back!" But Shadow refuses, as he turns off his radio and focus on taking his victim out.

Aaron heads back to base, as he felt his anxiety rises to a high level that hes about to lose focus on the enemy hes fighting. Aaron felt his hands shaking onto the controls. Aaron slightly was breathing rapidly, as he tries to get himself together.

"Stay calm, Aaron!" He said to himself, "Stay calm!" He mind went to think of Flurry Heart, whom he promised to come back to and keep her and her loved ones safe. He got a grip on himself, and took a deep breath.

He turns back and sees the enemy`s coming at him, refusing to leave him alone. Aaron knows that to get the best of his enemy, is to lure him to the base defenses, and hope it can get him overwhelmed.

"Come on, you scavager!" Aaron said. "Ill make this interesting to you if youre coming at me! Let`s see how tough you really are!"

Aaron switches channels to the air base and calls, "Commander Cowens! Im bring in the Schnitter over the base! Im gonna try to lure him there, and use the defenses with all you got!"

"Okay, kid!" Cowens complies, "I see that youre handling him like hes nothing! Good work, keep it up out there!"

"Copy that, sir!" Aaron replies, as he increases thrust to the base, as he looks back to see the Schnitter tries to keep up with him.

Shadow follows his foe, as he snarls with anger, "You`re not getting away from me, you little boy!" He increases thrust to chase after his prey, vowing to shoot him down not matter what it takes.

Back at the air base, standing in the hanger, Flurry Heart sees Nicholas returns and got out of his fighter jet, as she runs to him. She ask him, "Nick! Where`s Aaron?!"

Nicholas turns to her and said, "He`s up the skies, facing the enemy ace by himself!"

Hearing this, Flurry Heart became concerned for Aaron. She then said, "But it`s too dangerous to face the Schnitter on his own! You have to get back up there!"

"Dont worry, Princess Flurry Heart." He acknowledged. "Ill be heading back up as soon as possible. I`am not leaving my brother up th-"

But then, Shining Armor looks up to the skies and sees two more fighters soaring above Equestrian skies, shouting, "There`s two of them up there!"

Everyone looks up, and sees the one fighter jet is running from the other. Nicholas knew that was Aaron and Schnitter. "It`s Aaron and the Schnitter!"

"Whats Aaron doing, Nick?" Princess Cadence asked him, as he said, "Im thinking Aaron`s trying to get where he wants him, and strike back at him. Aaron sure does have the guts to face the enemy ace!"

"Thats right, son!" Sergeant Myatt said, which he smiles. "I also believe that your brother can take the Schnitter down. Schnitter maybe the feared ace, but hes no match with Aaron as far I see. Aaron and you done a hell of the job out there. But as far as Im not concerned, Aaron has a good fighting chance on any enemy aces comes in his way, which I can feel hes determined to take on any enemy aces like Schnitter, like now."

Princesses Cadence asked Myatt, "But you think Aaron can succeed?! Schnitter what I heard is one of the world's deadly ace pilots."

Sergeant Myatt then exclaims, "However, the Erusean ace has his flaws before: confusion and anxiety. And it seems Aaron is able to use his own skill as his advantage, and get him where he wants him there. Aaron will beat the dreadful ace, and I believe in him, as I did believe in Nicholas here!"

Nicholas agreed what he stated, as he turns and looks up to Aaron fighting the enemy ace. Flurry Heart place her hands together as shes praying, and sighs, "Aaron my love! Please, dont let us all down! I need you by my side!"

Fighting the ace by himself, Aaron kept on avoiding getting locked by the Schnitter. "Stay calm, Aaron!" He mutters, and turns back to see the enemy ace sticking behind him. He grins angrily, "Come on, you bastard! I`m giving you something to remember for messing with me or anyone around me!"

As Shadow tries to get a lock on Aaron, his cockpits alarm went crazy, warning him a missile approaching him. "What?!" Shadow irks, as he tries to move his plane out of the way of the oncoming missile. It missed him. But another missile approaches him, and he dodges it. However, his plane took a minor scratch on him right wing. Shadow Blade looks onto his planes damaged wing, stunned. "How...How did I get that damn scratch!" Shadow growls, as he turns to the pilot and yells, "You`re going to pay!"

Aaron tries to think of something to get him in his sights or outmaneuver him. Aaron has an idea, as he pulls up his joy stick, and gains altitude to the skies. And he increases little more thrusts of his plane, hoping his the ace`s plane would stall, and then try to get him on his tail.

Seeing his prey going upwards, Shadow Blade wonders, 'What in the hays he doing?! Is he trying to lure me to something?' He grins with rage, and said, "Is there something for me youre planning to get me?! Don`t be foolish!"

Shadow pulls up to follow Aaron, as both pilots climbs upwards to the blue yander.

Seeing the enemy ace on his tail, Aaron increases more the thrust. Aaron felt he`s about to lose consciousness, as his eyelids started to close.

'Oh no!' He thought in his head, as he struggles to keep focus on fighting the enemy ace Schnitter. 'Come on, man! Dont pass out! Dont pass out-'

His mind went to the times he and Flurry Heart had met and started to become close friends. Then, his mind went to Flurry Heart sharing a kiss with him, and told him, "No matter what happens, promise me that you`ll come back."

At that moment, his mind went blank, as he felt something in his head made him snap. He felt his rage increases for the first time in his life, since fighting bullies. Now he felt he can use anger to deal with the enemy ace. Aaron pushes the throttle to the higher level, ignoring the warning system saying 'WARNING: STALLING'. "Come on, you bucker!" Aaron yells furiously, as he looks at the ace straight to his eyes.

Shadow Blade can see the Piloting looking back down on him. For the first time in his career in the military, he felt fear. "Wha...Whats he doing?!" He mumbled, confused of what hes thinking.

Giving the the enemy an answer, Aaron pulls the joy stick back, and pushing the petals downward as his jet turns to face the Schnitter. Aaron quickly switch his weaponary to guns. "ARRRGGGGHHHH!!!" He roars angerly, while he pulls the trigger at the enemy ace, at his planes right engine intake. The right engine explodes, as the remaining engines operational.

Taking damage from the intake, Shadows in total shock of how it just went down, as he passes his opponent. He knew that for the first time taking to the skies, he managed to put up a helluva fight in the airspace. He also felt that his plane cant take it anymore on fighting. "H-how...could this...be happening!" Shadow mumbles with fear and shock, realizing that his rival just outfought and outskilled him in a dogfight. His first ever defeat in aerial combat. "I can`t let it end like this!" Shadow said to himself, as he pulls out of the airspace and withdrew from the battle zone.

Aaron then snaps back to his original self, and lowers his planes thrust and gear to settle down. He breathes in and out, sweat drips from his face, and looks around to see if theres anymore enemy planes. But no sign of enemy units.

While watching from the ground on the air base. Everybody saw the action between the ace and Aaron, and cheers for Aaron

"YEAH, AARON! YOU`RE THE MAN!" Rainbow Dash yells.

"WHEW HUH! AARON`S OUR HERO!" Pinkie Pie cheers, jumping up and down.

"YEEEEHAAAWWW AARON! RIDE UP COWBOY!" Applejack cheers as well, throwing her hat up.

"SPLENDID WORK, DARLING!" Rarity cheers. Twilight stood next to her and said, "And the enemy pilot`s turning away! Aaron just defeated the enemy ace all by himself!"

"THAT`S MY BROTHER!! YEEEAAAAHHHH! WHHOOOOAAAAAHHH!!" Nicholas cheers for his step-brother who just fought heroically against the odds and facing the ace.

Flurry Heart cries with joy, seeing Aaron defeated the enemy ace and saved Canterlot and the base from the enemy attack with Nicholas. "Thank Celestia he`s fine!" She sobbed, smiling as she and others watches Aaron flew down from the skies to land.

Sergeant Myatt stood looking up the skies, smiling. He then walks up to an joyful Nicholas and said, "I have to handed to you, Nicholas. You`re brother done a helluva job handling the enemy ace himself. And you two just saved dozens of lives today. Thanks to your efforts, now we got new pilots who can make a difference from today till the future."

"Yes sir! And thank you!" Nicholas said as he gave him a salute, as Myatt salutes him back.

Inside the base control room, Cowens and the base staff were ecstatic and cheering with joy. "The Schnitter`s retreating! The kid did it sir!"

"Hell he sure did, my friend!" Cowens smiles. "He and his brother`s a helluva pilots!"

Back up the skies, Aaron decreases altitude and calls onto the base. "Base, this is Aaron! Enemy has retreated, I can see he`s trailing smoke bad. I shot him in the intake while maneuvering at him!"

"Roger that, kid! You`re clear to land." Cowens responds, as Aaron can hear cheering in the background. Aaron replies, "Okay!"

Aaron felt his entire body shaking, shocked of what just happened and what he did against the enemy ace. He smiles with slight joy, as he started to tear up. He looks up to the skies, thinking of his father watching over him from heaven.

'I did it, Dad!' He thought. 'I defeated an enemy ace in a real-live dogfight. It`s because of you were watching over me as my guardian angel. Thank you! And I will continue to honor you until the wars end.'

He grabbed and held the necklace Princess Flurry Heart gave him, and smiles; as the tears running down his cheeks, and sighs a sob. "Thank you, Flurry." Aaron said, "For believing in me and my brother."
