(Pokemon Fic): I miss you...my best buddies....
No joy in our hero's heart...
Load Full StoryIt was a dark and stormy night..., perfect weather conditions for the two Pokemon who would have loved walking in the rain with their trainer.
But they were gone now...it feels like it was only just yesterday, but it was 6 years ago...
...................................
A tan Earth pony with a black mane and a blue shirt walked across a pathway to go back to his own world. In reality, he is a human with brown eyes and zigzags on his cheeks. The teen walked over toward the Pokemon World portal after visiting the portal to Pony world. However, he took a detour to the right, towards a graveyard that shows brave heroes who died in both worlds, as well as a long piece of paper - a census of who is alive.
.............................
"Kiki, have you seen Ash?" Serena, a tan pegasis with light-brown hair asked me. She is also a human, but in the pony world, she is a pegasis who can use magic. Serena had passed me my backpack with added food in it. She then looked at the clock and looked at me with a worried face. Serena hadn't seen her boyfriend in 30 minutes, so she was getting really worried since Ash doesn't even train anymore...
"I'll go find him!" I say, and fly after Ash.
I rush through the Everfree Forest, trying to get to the portal that goes to cross-over worlds. Ash doesn't go to the Equestria Girls portal often, especially when he is sad. It's too bad that the portal to the "Alternate World and Other Worlds" had been destroyed by Princess Celestia years ago, to make sure that it would not become evil again. Ash could have at least have hung out with Mirror World Ash and his Pikachu...if he even has him anymore.... Poor Ash, it's not like him to be so down-in-the-dumps. After Pikachu, Diancie's 4 Carbink guards, Team Rocket and the other bad guys that had been after Diancie had been killed by Yveltal, Ash has never been the same since.
WOOSH! I came in through the portal which I supposed would have come through. I sigh in relief, as Ash was walking down the pathway that holds the portals to transport to Equestria and PokeEarth. Ash isn't saying a word, though I can tell from the shiny wet flooring of the path that he had been crying. He must have been thinking about PikaPi and Greeninja, I thought, saying my nicknames for the two deceased Pokemon in my head. Then again, he might be thinking about Char-char, and ALL of his Pokemon that is gone. No matter what I do, I cannot replace the people and Pokemon he has lost...I have lost...WE have lost... Tears run down my chin as I look toward where I saw Ash going. Instead of going left to where his world was, he went right...to where the Ponymon graveyard is.... I sniffle, as I remember that I was the human who asked it to be created so that both worlds could keep a record of their friends - BIG mistake...it's now easy for Ash to visit every single day and drown in his sorrows! I quietly trot after Ash, towards the door to the graveyard. I whistled, but not loud enough for Ash to hear; hoping that his Pokemon replacements would hear it, and gather with Ash and I. I was NOT going to allow him to shoo me away for mourning with him this time!
Ash made his way to Greninja, Pikachu, and Charizard's graveyards, and stood on two legs. He then transformed back into a human since he was in the Pokemon graveyard. Thankfully, all of the Pokemon Kiki had called over had just happened to be near the graveyard, and they were going to cry with Ash this time! Kiki transformed back, as she quietly opened the door to the graveyard. All of the kind Pokemon were now coming towards Ash, ready to be a shoulder, or a cozy body to cry on.
"What are you guys doing here?" Ash asked, stepping backwards towards the magical field that prevented anypony/human from treading on the graves. "Don't drown yourself in my sorrows, I want you to be happy!"
"We are here to comfort you Ash, and NOTHING is going to stop us from making you smile, Mr!" Latias explained telepathically, "Besides, we WANT to cry with you!"
"Ok." Ash simply responded, turning his attention back to the graves, to put his hand on the field where Pikachu's grave was.
Thabk you for letting us cry with you, Senpai, she thought, tears still streaming down her face. She then let her Pikachu, named Pika, Ash's Pikachu's sister, come out of her Pokeball. The girl mouse knew what was going on already - she was already crying, and ready to zap Ash if he refused her sympathy. Pika then returned the hug she was receiving from her trainer; she knew the pain that Kiki was feeling already. Her husband (Kiki's Pikachu) had passed a week ago, and she and her young daughter Chu-Chu were still dealing with the loss and pain of losing the harsh, boastful, but loving father/husband.
Kiki then continued her thought, You may not know it, but I care you-you, I'm sorry for you AND Pikachu. Your bond lasted so long, and yet it was so short. I like it when things are happy for you...I love you....Ash-kan... ![]()
Lightning Strike, son of Ash's friend Riche's Pikachu Sparky, was the first to step forward and say some words. Ponies and Pokemon can be understood by humans in this rift between the two worlds.
"I'm sorry Ash...I would have loved to have met my Uncle..." He said, letting Ash gently hug him.
Ash, once again cried tears of sadness and regret, not even smiling because he had had Pikachu, and Pikachu had never left him on purpose. It wasn't Pika's fault - he hadn't left with his Pikachu group years ago - he had stayed with ash until his very last breath! Be happy Ash!
That's it..., I thought, I really have to bring the pony gang to help cheer him up!
