The Last Dreamwalker

1000 Years ago, there were certain Unicorns who carried special abilities. I have this ability as well…as of today I am the only one with this ability.

Some were born with it…some were later gifted with it…I was born with it…because I am one of the originals…my ancestors carried it…We are of Royalty.

This ability allowed us to enter the minds and dreams of Ponies who sleep…we could interact with their life in the Dream state…not only that we could even cause physical effects that would affect the Pony in real life.

Some decided to use this power for evil…they were found and executed.

Almost all of us used it for good and peace.

My name is Luna Faust, and I am a Dreamwalker

Luna walks through a Starry-Skied World, as she took every step over a glass road with no end, around her were millions of Dreams, that showed what was happening in them…she looks around for any nightmares.

She turns around to see one of the dreams turning dark meaning there is something happening in that dream.

Luna then enters the dream to see monsters everywhere surrounding a little colt.

“H-help me please!!! Somepony!!!” The colt yelled as he covered himself with his hooves.

Luna casted a bright shine from her horn and the monsters were instantly vaporized.

The colt was still covering himself as well as shaking.

Luna floated down to the ground to comfort the colt.

The colt had a Light Blue coat with a Black & Dark Blue mane and tail, he was a unicorn as well, although there was no cutie mark seen on the colt, and he also seemed to have a black eye.

“You are safe now.” Luna says to the colt as she sits next to him.

The colt looks up to see Princess Luna sitting next to him and smiling.

“Princess Luna…I... how did you find me?” The little colt asked.

“You are dreaming little one, I saw the nightmare and I vanquished it.” Luna answers.

“Oh…well…thank you.” The colt says as he hugs her.

“You are welcome…tell me…what is your name?” Luna asks the small colt.

The colt sits there as he stops hugging her, he stays silent for a few seconds then answers.

“My name is Darkstar.” The colt says.

“Darkstar? That is a nice name.” Luna says

“Thanks…your majesty.” Darkstar says

“Mind if I ask you something?” Luna says.

“Not at all your Highness.” Darkstar says.

“You can just call me Luna by the way; where did you get that black eye?” Luna asks.

Darkstar freezes as he smiles and at the same time…looks worried.

“Oh well…I uh…” Darkstar hesitates.

“Darkstar…don’t be afraid to tell me.” Luna says.

“In School today I had an accident on the swing set.” Darkstar says.

“Is that it?” Luna asks concerned.

“Y-yeah…that’s it.” Darkstar says.

Luna looks at him for a little bit with a worried expression and then smiles, “Okay, well you be careful Darkstar…good night and sweet dreams.” Luna says.

“Thank you…Luna.” Darkstar says.

Luna exits the dream and walks through the realms again thinking about the little colt.

“Was he lying…is he hiding something…he didn’t look like he hurt…himself.” Luna says.

She continues walking until she is suddenly wakes up in her bed and to see the sun going up.

Luna sighs and lowers the moon as she gets up and out of her bed, she then walks out of her room and without her attire on or her crown.

“Good morning your highness.” The Night Guard says to her.

“Good morning.” Luna says to him, then walks down the hall.

My thoughts were toward that colt…he looked…special of some sorts…no one usually has demons and monsters in their dreams actually…I’m not kidding…the only time there were demons in dreams was when the Spirit I created…infected others minds.

Luna walks into the Kitchen and sees her sister, she smiles at her calling her name and saying ‘Good Morning Sis.’

Celestia looks back to see her young sister walk to the table and sit next to her.

“How was your sleep?” Luna asks her.

Celestia smiles and hugs her, “It was fine…it’s the same.” She says as she laughs.

“That’s good…” Luna says as she puts her head back.

“Is something troubling you Lulu?”

“Well…It’s nothing serious but…It’s just kind of concerning…if you know what I’m trying to say.” She says as she looks at her sister with a normal expression.

“What happened…did you meet someone in your dreams?” Celestia ask.

“A young colt…he had a serious nightmare…there were demons and monsters…that’s not normal actually.” Luna replies.

“Did you save him?” Celestia asks with a concerned expression.

“Yes…I did…but he looked like as if the monsters actually hurt him.” Luna says as she becomes worried.

“What kind of injuries were there?” Celestia asked.

“He had a black eye and a few very small cuts.” Luna says.

“That is concerning…Did you get the colt’s name, I could find out where he lives and you can figure out the mystery if you like?” Celestia says.

“His name is Darkstar.” Luna says.

“Darkstar…interesting name.” Celestia says.

“I’m going to get ready and everything, let me know when you have more information.” Luna says.

“Okay…but Lulu.”

Luna stops and turns to her sister

“Don’t stress yourself too much about this…it could just be something very small.” Celestia says in a concerned voice.

“Don’t worry, I won’t.” Luna replies with a smile.

With that Luna walks out of the Kitchen.

Thoughts swirled through me truthfully…that colt looks like he isn’t okay…he looked very relaxed as soon as I arrived in his dreams…after I left…he went back to sadness…his expression worried me…I needed to find out what was happening…this may sound crazy when you think about it, but if something irregular happens in dreams, usually it’s because of the affects that happen in his real life…I intend to find out what they are.
