Author's Note

Just to make something clear right off the bat, this story is ridiculously fluffy and it's mostly wish fulfillment (but then so are my other stories, just not to such an extent).

For nearly three entire years, I've been wanting to write a Sunset Shimmer story. Last year, I stumbled upon this story, which hit a particular spot for me. For some reason, the idea of a trap Sunset Shimmer does things to me that simply don't happen with other ponies or EqG characters. A year later, during a stupidly hot summer night, I decided to try writing my own version of a trap Sunset story, but without the sadness or the rejection.

Both the story and chapters are named after my favorite DragonForce song, because why the hell not. I'm terrible at coming up with titles anyway, so this can't possibly be any worse.

This first chapter doesn't contain sex but there's probably enough graphical kissing to make it NSFW.

You're Always Just One Step Away

"You couldn't seduce your way out of a wet paper bag, Anon."

You groan as Sunset Shimmer, your best and only true friend in this world, pats you on the back in sympathy. As much as you hate it when she teases you about that, she's right, you've been here for a few months now, and you simply have no success with the ladies.

The two of you are walking home after having spent some time in a bar, drinking and laughing and generally having a good time. Or rather you were going to laugh and have a good time, but Sunset ended up not talking much and you ended up being shot down by some weird lavender chick with white and electric blue hair. She laughed at you along with her sister for twenty minutes while you were sitting two tables away with Sunset, sipping your drink in silence.
Felt bad, man.

At least, you have Sunset. Your relationship is purely platonic, but she's your friend and she's always there to comfort you.
You shiver slightly as she wraps an arm around your back, bringing your body closer to hers. It was weird at first, but by now you've grown used to such open displays of affection in public. The people in this world are a lot more tactile than those back on Earth, and hugging your friends in the middle of the streets is a normal thing to do here.

You're not sure how it happened, but one morning you just woke up to find yourself in what seems to be an alternate dimension where people have weird pastel skin and hair colors, as well as slightly differently proportioned bodies. Their heads are slightly bigger while their bodies and limbs are thinner, but they don't look different enough to weird you out or anything.
There's also some really strange supernatural shit happening from time to time, but other than that, life hasn't been treating you too bad. You have a house, a close friend in Sunset Shimmer, and some less important buddies whose company remains enjoyable in small doses.

All in all, life isn't that different from what it was on Earth, and you can't complain too much about anything.
You catch a glimpse of Sunset's lower back as she rests her head against your shoulder, and you sigh. She might be your best friend, but she's really cute... and quite hot. You didn't really consider asking her out when you first got here, and by the time you had managed to get used to your new life, the two of you had already been close friends for a while. You don't want to risk ruining that.

But still, at some point you're going to need to find someone. Even though the people in this dimension look slightly different, they still look human enough. Some of the girls are really attractive, Sunset Shimmer being one of them. You've been alone for a while, even prior to arriving here, you wouldn't mind going further with her if that didn't mean risking your friendship... it doesn't help that her skin and hair also look mostly normal compared to some of the eye-gouging palettes you've seen on a few girls.

You've been spending a lot of time with her, and since she's popular at school, you also became kind of notorious for being her closest friend, the one she's around most of the time. You generally try to shield her from all the attention, she doesn't like it nearly as much as she did before you arrived here, you've been told. All things considered, you would say that your life here is slightly better than on Earth, if not only because you spend the majority of your time with a cute and hot girl who still manages to be a good friend.

And right now, you're surprising yourself by thinking about how attractive she is.
You've known that for a fact ever since you first laid eyes on her, but this is different. You never thought of her that way before, you really need to get laid before this gets out of hand. Those different bodies aren't anywhere near different enough to feel like another species, so you're still game for some hot monkey on slightly differently shaped and brightly colored monkey action.

You know that no matter how often you get shot down, Sunset will be here to comfort you, but maybe you should ask her if this world has different courting rituals or something like that? You weren't too good with the ladies back home, but you were nowhere near that bad.

You sigh and turn your head towards Sunset.
"Yeah... maybe I should try seducing you," you say jokingly, and for a brief moment, you can see a weird expression on her face. It quickly returns to a playful grin, and you brush it off. Probably just another girl thing... girls are weird regardless of what dimension they're from, it seems.

Unlocking your front door, you take a step inside your home, followed by Sunset Shimmer who wastes no time in rushing to your couch, throwing herself on it. You shake your head and close the door. You love how she generally acts like a guy around you, that's probably the main reason why you enjoy her presence so much. It's like the female version of the best friend you've never had on Earth.

A few minutes later, you're slumped over on the couch, watching a shitty sitcom with a can of soda in hand. Sunset is sitting next to you, her head on your shoulder. She always loved doing that, and since her hair is soft and smells amazing, you're not about to ask her to move.
Suddenly, she lays a hand on your knee and looks up at you with a neutral expression on her face.

"I'm sure I'd make a better girlfriend than any of those skanks could ever hope to be," she says in an equally neutral tone.

You don't doubt that, after all she knows you better than anyone else, and the two of you always got along very well... but right now, she's forcing you to consider asking her out or something. The thought has crossed your mind a few times during the past few weeks, but you can't do that. She's your best friend, and not just a friend like those few guys you call your buddies, she's your friend. You're not sure about this whole 'magic of friendship' thing her other friends always talked about, but this is the real deal, and you don't want to risk ruining that.
Who's to say she would actually want to be your girlfriend, anyway? She might not be attracted to you, and even if she is, she might be just as reluctant as you to put your friendship at risk. The two of you really bonded together over the course of a few months.

You've been rather busy adapting to your new life in this weird dimension, so that kind of took precedence over trying to find a girlfriend. But now that you have more or less settled into this new world, loneliness is making itself known.
You were already alone for quite some time before you ended up here and since it doesn't look like you're going back to Earth anytime soon, you're gonna have to find a way to romance a brightly colored lady from another dimension. You should definitely ask Sunset for help, until now all she ever did was tease you, comfort you, and occasionally laugh at your miserable attempts at seducing what you were sure was an easy girl, but she lived here her entire life so maybe there's some weird romance code or whatever that you're not privy to.

You know Sunset used to be in a relationship with Flash Sentry, who surprisingly found himself in the rather small group of people you would consider your friends. Nothing comparable to what you have with the fiery-haired girl, but they're nice to be around nonetheless. You're not sure why you're thinking about that right now, but that reminds you that you don't know why they broke up. It was during your first month here, and from what you've been told that wasn't the first time the two of them got into a relationship only to break up a few months later, but maybe that could give you some insight on what not to do when trying to court a woman? You're not exactly asking random women in the street if they want sum fuk, but you wouldn't mind a few pointers.

"Hey, Sunset?"

She slightly raises her head. "Yeah?"

"Why did you and Flash break up?"

Her face goes white for a few seconds and she stammers a bit, before answering. "He... he kept pestering me to have sex with him. I didn't want to, so he just... lost interest, after a while."

Is she a virgin? That'd be hard to believe, although at this point, you realize that you don't know all that much about her. Sure, you know her favorite insult for the equivalent of gingers in this world, and you know why she hates pepperoni pizza, but you don't even know if she ever had sex. Although you suppose that's not something really appropriate to talk about when your friend is a different gender... or is it? Fuck, having a girl as a friend is confusing at times.

"Why didn't you want to have sex with him? I mean, you were his girlfriend for several months, right?"

"I'm..." she trails off, looking away from you.

"Are you a virgin?"

Her head snaps back towards you. "If you tell anyone, I'll-"

You cut her off by patting her gently on the back. "Come on, Sunset. You really think I'd go around telling people about your private life like that?"

She smiles weakly, remembering that unlike many guys in school, you have no interest in potential blackmail material on her. You don't know how knowing she's a virgin would allow you to blackmail her, but whatever. Now that you think about it though, despite her undeniable popularity, guys aren't exactly lining up to ask her out. She's really cute and attractive, but maybe they're just intimidated? She did do a number on this school a few years ago, according to what you've heard from some of the students.
Still, you understand why Flash left her. Maybe he was just being an ass and everything was his fault, but you would also give up after months without the slightest hope of getting some action. You're not fucking fourteen anymore, hugging and kissing is fine and everything, but you need the real thing at some point.

You're older than all these people, though. All the students at Canterlot High look like they're in their late teens while you're well into your twenties. You'd imagine Sunset to be about eighteen or so, but then you're still not sure time works the same as on Earth. For all you know, a year here could be shorter or longer than on Earth. Still, maybe her age is part of the reason why she acts the way she does sometimes, she's still a teenager while you're an adult. You don't feel or act like one, but you are one.
You think.

Either way, you yourself need to get into a relationship with a brightly colored, oddly shaped and possibly underage female from an alternate dimension. The sooner you acknowledge shit like this, the sooner you can start working on accepting it.

Sunset lets out a long sigh, before speaking up. "Are you alright? You're being so silent tonight..."

"I'm fine, don't worry. I was just thinking, you know? Things have been quite different for me ever since I got here."

Sunset is the only one who knows where you come from. Even though it should be pretty obvious, what with you looking pretty unique among the big-headed people with thin bodies and limbs, but nobody ever mentioned it.
When you told her your story, she seemed to have no trouble believing you, which always felt a little odd to you, but now that you think about it, you remember that she had that same expression she made when you jokingly said that you should try seducing her. Maybe she's from another dimension as well? She looks like she belongs here, but the idea of there being alternate dimensions was purely hypothetical back on Earth. Now that you know it's a real thing, it opens up a whole new realm of possibilities.
You really have no clue how far any of this shit can reach.

She also had a similar expression on her face for a few seconds when you asked her about Flash... maybe there's something wrong with her? As her friend, you need to find out if there is, and help her.
But then it could simply be because she's a girl, and girls are-

"Anon, am I attractive?" she asks out of the blue.

"What?" you blurt out. You weren't exactly expecting that kind of question.

"Do you find me attractive?" she repeats, her expression neutral.

You give her an odd look, something along the lines of 'oi, you takin' the piss?', before answering.

"Of course Sunset, you're gorgeous. Your fiery hair, your beautiful eyes, that narrow waistline, those legs that go on for days..." you trail off, realizing that you might have gotten carried away a little bit. It's your best friend you're talking about... even though that doesn't invalidate anything you've said. The answer to whether she's attractive or not is a resounding 'yes'.

She looks around uneasily, before pointing at her chest. "I have no breasts," she says in a sulking tone.

"Who cares? It complements your petite figure quite nicely."

She raises an eyebrow. "How can I have a petite figure if I have legs for days?"

That's a good question, one you don't have an answer to. She definitely has both.
Still, you elect to reply in the most meaningful and mature way possible.

"Fuck you."

She opens her mouth as if to say something, before the two of you erupt in laughter.
You love spending time with this girl, in so many ways she's like your typical guy friend, but... she's more than that. You're not sure how much more, you used to think you knew what kind of relationship the two of you had got going on, but recently the lines have been getting more and more blurry each day.

After a short and somewhat awkward silence, Sunset gets up.

"I should really get going, we have school tomorrow."

"Right. Alright Sunset, I'll see you tomorrow."

"Good night, Anon," she says as she walks towards the door.

"You know," you call out, "you're lucky. As a student, you can actually sleep in class. I can't."

"Yeah, yeah," she grabs her coat with a grin, "you're the lucky one, getting to spend so much time around me."

You smirk. You love it when she gets all cocky and full of herself, you're never sure if she's serious or just fucking with you, but it makes her so cute and endearing... not that she usually isn't cute and endearing, but... fuck. You really need to get a girlfriend.
At least she's right, you're lucky to get to spend so much time around a nice, cute girl like her. That doesn't make up for the need to have something more in your life, but you wouldn't give up what the two of you have for the world.

As the door closes, you lean back into your couch, sighing heavily. You forgot you still had school tomorrow.

Against all odds, you actually go to Canterlot High.
As a substitute French teacher, and it's only been about a month, but still. Since then, you've been hanging around Sunset at school most of the time so everybody believes you're a student. You're not sure if teachers are supposed to do that, but it's not like students are lining up to learn French. Except for the three or four kids who actually attend your class (Rarity being the most notable example), everybody else seems to think you're also a student.
Speaking of Rarity, with the way she always prides herself on being ladylike and everything, you suppose it makes sense for her to be interested in a romance language. On a personal level though, you don't understand why anyone would be interested in it, you speak that shit fluently and you couldn't give two fucks about it.
Oh well, time to get some rest, tomorrow is sure to be a long and boring day.

You wake up bright and early, feeling like shit. You didn't even drink much yesterday, so you're guessing it's just the aftermath of rejection followed by a rather awkward evening with Sunset Shimmer.
You're so not looking forward to this new day.

While you were watching TV yesterday, she kept hugging you. Not that she usually doesn't, but yesterday it felt different. The feeling was rather unwelcome, as much as you like her and hugs in general, something about it didn't feel right. In general, she's been acting a little strangely for the past few weeks, as if she were hiding something. At first you chalked it up to girls being girls, and when it didn't stop, you figured she would tell you if she wanted you to know. By now though, you're starting to suspect there's something eating her up from the inside and she's afraid to tell anyone about it. As her friend, that obviously doesn't sit right with you. You're ready to scour the Earth to unravel this mystery, even if you have no clue where the Earth is or how to get back there. Perhaps you'll just sit down with her and ask her instead, you'll figure something out either way.

You take a quick shower and get dressed, before walking all the way to the school, and into 'your' classroom.
You know Sunset would attend it if you asked her, but it bores even you to death, what kind of friend would you be if you subjected her to that?
Besides, you're only doing it for the money.

In the few weeks following your arrival here, you basically lived like a bum, sleeping in whatever classroom you could find. Apparently, the security in this world is pretty lenient, as long as you're doing your own thing and not disturbing others, you can pretty much do what you want where you want. Living in the school wasn't too bad, you had access to basic commodities like food, water and a bathroom, and the library was a good way to learn more about this strange world, even though you came to learn that most of it is eerily similar to Earth.

That's how you lived for about a month, until the principal found out, and got pissed. It was around that time that you met Sunset Shimmer, and she pulled some strings with the principal and some of her friends to get you enough money to rent a small apartment downtown. You really have no idea how any of it makes any sense on any level, but when you're in another dimension, that fact alone works as a satisfactory answer to many things.

As you place your bag down and start to rummage through it, you notice that Rarity is already here, along with that tall white bitch with the prissy attitude. Fleur, you think she's called. You don't like either of them, they're probably nice girls but you just can't stand their overly delicate and girly attitude.
In contrast, Sunset acts like a tomboy most of the time, even though she certainely doesn't look the part. You don't know how she behaves with her other friends, though. She might be spending a lot of time with you, but she also spends her fair share of time with her other female friends.

You take out a stack of paper and sigh, remembering that more often than not, you only have two students. Sometimes you also have that gray girl who plays cello in some school band or whatever, but the majority of the time, it's only Fleur and Rarity. Which is fine by you, you don't care much for crowds, and you're not really into that whole socializing thing.
Fuck, you really gotta remember that they're your students, not fellow schoolgoers. It's hard at times, you can't be more than what, five years older than them?

The morning passes by pretty uneventfully, aside from Rarity's annoying tendency to call you 'Anonyme', despite your best efforts to explain her that names aren't supposed to be translated.
Still, you're happy that people in this land have such weird names. It was a pain on Earth, but in a world where 'Sunset Shimmer' and 'Flash Sentry' are everyday names, no one bats an eyelash at 'Anonymous'.

At noon, you meet Sunset in the cafeteria along with her five friends, whom you're not overly fond of. You're sure they're nice girls and everything, but their personalities are simply too... extreme. The blue one with the LGBT hair is always acting all competitive and shit about everything, the yellow one is more autistic than you were when you were her age (which is saying a lot), the pink one is the personification of cocaine, Rarity is Rarity and the one who probably fucks her brother is... you don't know, actually. This one, you might be interested in getting to know, even though Sunset already fulfills the role of 'orange tomboy friend' in your life. Except Sunset looks more feminine.
And cuter.

You're sitting at their table, and even though only Sunset and Rarity know that you're not actually a student, seeing you sitting there probably wouldn't be shocking to anyone. Some of the students look older than you.
Still, if Rarity knows something, chances are, some other people already know the truth. Gossip and all that.

The one thing you can't let anybody know about is your 'origins', where you come from. You really, really don't want the attention, or the potential trouble. Apparently you don't look different enough for anyone to question anything, and you're fine with that. Besides, you get plenty of attention by simply hanging around Sunset, many of the students came up to you in the beginning, asking you who you were and everything, and some of them still do to this day. A simple and curt 'fuck off' tends to be your go-to reply when that happens, but you've been nicer on occasion with some of them.
That cute as fuck gray blonde girl with the lazy eye, for example. You wanted to pinch those adorable little cheeks so bad.

Not being able to talk about your old life limits your conversation, though. Similarly, you don't think you ever heard Sunset mention anything about her life prior to attending school at Canterlot High. You figured if she wanted to tell you about it, she would, but maybe one day you'll ask. She tends to be a little different from her friends, her attitude is darker and more cynical, perhaps closer to that of a human from Earth. But you know for certain that she's not from Earth.

At the very least, the food is good. You were afraid there would be some issues trying to adapt to alien food, but really there isn't. While you don't eat anywhere near as much meat as before, most food is tastier than on Earth. That green old lady makes a bitchin' apple pie.

After another uneventful afternoon, you meet up with Sunset in front of the building a few minutes after the bell rang. It's Friday, and you know she has physics homework on Friday, and since you're slightly less terrible at it than she is, you usually help her.
Besides, it's fucking Friday. Which means, tonight will be a no holds barred orgy of alcohol, junk food and shitty movies. That's your special private time with Sunset, you're just gonna watch movies, browse the Internet, get wasted and generally do stupid shit and behave like a couple of irresponsible idiots.
Which is exactly what you are, a teenager and a young adult male.

So tonight, you're gonna spend some quality time with your best friend Sunset Shimmer, and your second best friend, Jaspear Newton Daniel.

Seriously, out of all the weird puns on the counterparts to many things you'd find on Earth... you'd have expected something like Applejack Daniel's, but... Jaspear?
Honestly.

2funny4u

But you don't care about the name, because this shit tastes great, fucks you up real nice but not too quickly, and more importantly, it's cheap.
What? You were a bum a couple of months ago, you made significant progress in that area already.

You sit down next to Sunset as she grabs a physics book from her bag, and opens it. This shouldn't take long, you're really good at this shit.
Well, you're decent. Like, you have a solid... okay, a basic understanding of the world around you.
Your former world.

...you didn't even finish middle school. But you used to binge watch Vsauce, so you'll be fine.
Probably.

At least, you know that the laws of physics here have to be extremely similar to those in your universe, if not the exact same. Any significant difference would have meant death within seconds of arriving here.
But then all the things you ever 'learned' about other dimensions and everything were merely hypotheses based on puny human knowledge. Given your monstrous physical strength compared to the average person here, you're willing to bet that many things are indeed quite different from what they were on Earth.
You're not muscular and you refuse to believe your different body shape alone can-

"C'mon, let's go order a pizza or something!" Sunset says enthusiastically as she gets up, walking towards the living room.

Right, there's also the fact that 99% of the time, she doesn't need any help. You're pretty sure Canterlot High is a high school, given the name and the age of the students, but most of the stuff they learn here is elementary school grade shit. Like, mind-boggingly simple.

You remember learning more complicated shit in fucking fifth grade, for crying out loud.
Honestly, you don't know what's the deal with this world. It's pretty similar to Earth in most aspects, but some little details are completely out of place, it's weird.

After following Sunset into the living room, you crash on the couch next to her and turn the TV on, not reacting when she wraps an arm around your neck.
You do react internally, though. The more time passes, the more you find yourself enjoying her physical contact.
She's definitely being a lot more touchy-feely than before, but that's fine. It simply feels good to have a hot girl readily willing to hug you like that. Even if it's commonplace to get random hugs from pretty much anyone you know in this world, while that makes the gesture a little less significant, it remains just as pleasant...

Fuck.

An hour later, you're drinking cheap beer and watching what appears to be a shitty PG-13 version of Kingsman: The Secret Service. The church scene is really pissing you off, though. No racial or homophobic slurs, no blood, violence is implied rather than shown... they completely ruined it.
You spend a few minutes wondering if no blood is actually worse than CGI blood, but you eventually give up and yawn. With the sudden lull in the action, you figure it's a good opportunity to ask Sunset about her previous relationship, and why she reacted the way she did yesterday. You don't want to pry into her private life too much, but she's your friend, and you need to know if Flash's ass is in need of a good kicking.

You couldn't touch a jock back on Earth, but here you're a lot stronger. Maybe it's the different laws of physics, your different metabolism or your body shape or whatever the hell else, but you're strong as fuck. Not Superman strong, but easily Arnie strong.

"Say, Sunset," you start, looking into her eyes.

"Yeah?"

"How was your relationship with Flash?"

She raises an annoyed eyebrow. "Why do you want to know?"

"Well," you explain, "you reacted a bit strangely yesterday when I asked, so I just wanna make sure he didn't hurt you or anything. Because if he did, I will strike down upon him with great vengeance and fur-"

"Anon," she says, putting a hand on your thigh. "He never hurt me, it's just... look, I don't want to talk about it, alright? One day... maybe one day, I'll explain everything to you. But for tonight, can we just enjoy our time together? Just you and me?"

While under different circumstances you would have picked up on the emphasis on 'you and her', you're more concerned about her use of the word 'everything'. Does she have a long, convoluted and tragic backstory? How many things about her are you not privy to? What kind of shit has she done, or seen?
Could she be a murderer or something? ...nah, you've seen her pleading eyes before. Those are not the eyes of a murderer, you know she's far from helpless but she's not a bad person.

The day you arrived here, you saw her being bullied.
By the only person in school who'd give you a run in terms of being a rude asshole with freaky physical strength, Gilda. Apparently, she had been taking her lunch money regularly for years now.

So you did the only appropriate thing.
You John Cena'd her ass while singing the song of your people, before giving Sunset a hand, getting her back up to her feet while Gilda was trying to get her head out of the newly formed hole in the wall. It seems that whenever you make use of your strength, things become quite cartoonish. She wasn't hurt despite the fact that what you did to her could have easily killed a normal human being, but she was really pissed.
Still, she couldn't overpower you no matter what she tried, and while 'the people's elbow' might have sounded like an empty and autistic threat back on Earth, it really struck fear into her. Or, it could simply be because after years of never having anyone stand up to her, a freshly arrived alien shoved her head through a concrete wall within thirty seconds of meeting her.

Either way, she showed up the following day with a bunch of jocks, ready to kick your ass until you pointed out that you had no business dealing with someone who was too much of a cheeky bugger to 1v1 you. You did use those exact words, and that got her all jittery for some reason. She then angrily stormed off, the slightly less skinny dudes taking off after her. It was quite sad, really. You wouldn't have minded taking on five dudes at once.
...that didn't sound the way you intended it to.

In the few weeks following that event, she tried to spread rumors about you and humiliate you, but you simply never gave a fuck. You don't care much about the people who aren't your friends, and you don't care much about what they believe, either. You're pretty sure that since that day, half of the school believes you're a homosexual, but you really don't care.

Implying those pastel colored androgynous 'people' aren't all faggots anyway.

Gilda eventually became more or less a friend after she gave up on trying to get back at you and begrudgingly apologized on Rainbow Dash's request. You told her that you weren't mad, you genuinely didn't care. As it turned out, she really wanted a friend but other than with the equally brash Rainbow, she never knew how to act around others in a non-competitive setting, causing her to appear aggressive and unfriendly most of the time.
You told her not to worry, you explained to her that you didn't have the best social skills either, and you completely understood. Which wasn't entirely truthful, you didn't quite understand why she simply couldn't figure out she didn't have to be the best at everything to make a friend, but whatever. Either way, you made sure to emphasize the fact that you weren't angry with her at all.

For whatever reason, that behavior is what drew Sunset Shimmer towards you. That, and the fact you put an end to two years of bullying.
You quickly became the best of friends with the cute little redhead after that. Well, not really redhead, but... she has some red streaks in her hair, you suppose. No one has a natural looking hair color around here, but some people on Earth dye their hair so it never looked as odd as shit like blue or green skin. Same deal with her skin, you've seen faker looking skin on those ugly skanks who use tanning cream or something. You know fuck all about cosmetics and stuff like that.
You began to spend a lot of time around her, and at some point the French teacher got sick and had to leave for a while, which brings you back to your current situation.

That is, watching this dimension's version of Kingsman with Sunset's arm around your neck and her body pressed against yours.
Damn, you need to stop reminiscing on the past like that, how are you supposed to fully enjoy premium quality cuddling if your head is in the clouds? Maybe it's not really cuddling, but you have a hot girl willingly spending time with you and enjoying physical contact, so that's pretty nice already.

The pizza is long gone, and you're left sipping on your beer. You don't want to get fucked up quite yet, so whiskey will have to wait for now. Besides, you're not done trying to get some answers out of Sunset.

Before you can try to do just that, she speaks up.

"Do you think Flash leaving me was justified?"

"What?"

"You know, the fact that I didn't want to... but he did. Would that turn you away from a girl?"

"Er, I don't know if-"

"Would you accept a relationship without sex?" she presses on.

She's your friend, so you might as well tell her the truth.

"In all honesty Sunset, I don't think I would. Maybe it was Flash's fault, his behavior or whatever made you unwilling to go further with him, but I understand why he did what he did. I wouldn't mind a relationship without sex for the first few weeks I guess, romantic build up and all that, but after a month or two I'd be really longing for some action. The lack of sex would physically affect me, it would end up making stuff like even simply making out quite problematic in some aspects."

She looks uneasy for a moment. "But what if the girl has a very good reason? Like, she really wants to, but she can't?"

You shrug. "I'd try to talk it out, you know? Ask her why, and then see if we can work something out. Communication is very important in a relationship, no matter how stupid or embarrassing something might seem, a lot of trouble can be avoided by simply talking about it. Talking about your problems can really go a long way, too many people fail to understand that."

You mentally scold yourself, remembering that what you took for granted in your world might not be so obvious here. You need to stop generalizing everything all the time.
Sunset stares at the TV with a pensive look on her face, before taking a long sip of her beer.

By now you're both somewhat buzzed, but far from drunk. You're planning on changing that, and as soon as this movie ends, you're going to go fetch some whi-

"Anon?"

"Yeah, Sunny?"

She blushes. She hates when you call her that in public, but when it's only the two of you, you know she loves it. Not that she will ever admit to it, but her rosy cheeks and suppressed smile leave no doubt about it.

"I was thinking..."

"Yeah?"

She readjusts herself on the couch, pulling her arm away from you.

"You're lonely, right? I mean, you haven't had a girlfriend or anything in a while?"

You frown internally. As if what happened yesterday in that bar left any room for doubt... you simply nod.

"You see, I was thinking. We've been friends for a while, right?"

"Sunset, are you trying to..." you trail off, unsure of what you even think she's trying to do.

"No, no!" she raises her hands defensively. "Just, maybe, you know... from time to time, m-maybe we could, um..."

Even Fluttershy ain't got shit on her when she gets really embarrassed. Fuck, it's cute.

"I was thinking maybe we could kiss each other!" she says as quickly as she can. "Y-you know... we're best friends, we already hug and everything, so I thought, maybe..."

You ponder this for a minute, glancing towards the TV in a mix of confusion and disbelief.
Goddamn, this dude might be the villain but you can't bring yourself to see him as such. You don't fully agree with his opinion, but his plan, as needlessly convoluted as it is, definitely makes sense to you. You're not sure about this version of the planet, but your Earth could definitely use a good cleans-

"-and it would be just like friends with benefits, except... with kissing and cuddling instead of sex, right? Emotional comfort instead of... you know."

You didn't hear everything, but you can clearly feel that she's tormented, and while you're not sure why she would be, Sunset Shimmer in emotional turmoil is not something you're alright with. Fuck whatever repercussions this might have, you can't let your friend remain all sad and shit while you can do something about it.
Looking deep into her eyes, you grab her hands and stroke her soft skin with your thumbs, before planting a chaste kiss upon her lips.

It lasts only for a few seconds but she melts into it with a light moan, and you suddenly feel sufficiently at peace to admit to yourself that you've been wanting- no, you've been needing to do that for months.

"I'd like that, Sunny," you say with a huge smile, giving her a quick hug.

She doesn't react at first, taking a few minutes to recover. You guess she was a bit shook up, you're not sure what manner of shit you just instigated, but you have the feeling that the ride has only just begun. Was she as lonely as you this whole time, only better than you at hiding it? Why would she hide that from a friend, though?

When she finally recovers, she returns the hug and looks up at you with an equally large smile. "Thanks, Anon!" she says happily, burying her face into your shoulder and hugging you with a lot more strength.
She's not as strong as you or Gilda, but damn.

"Hey, that's what friends are for, right?"

Not really, but whatever. Also, depending on why she wanted to kiss you in the first place, that might have been a really stupid thing to say.
Thankfully, she doesn't seem to care, content with just hugging you as the movie ends. You're not sure why all the violence and swearing is removed while the princess' naked ass remains on screen for a good ten seconds, but then this world doesn't make any more sense than the MPAA.

You can't help but think that this is too good to be true, though. Sunset is popular, she's beautiful, she's a nice girl, you love being around her... and now she wants the two of you to be more or less boyfriend and girlfriend? Come on, what's the catch?

You haven't ceased hugging Sunset, and neither of you is complaining, but you still don't have any answers... you sigh, remembering that you don't have any whiskey in your system, either. Which isn't a bad thing, if you're going to ask something serious, it might as well be before you start getting really hammered.

"Hey, Sunset?"

"Yeah?"

"Why are you so hesitant to tell me your story? I know there must be things you don't want to talk about and I'm not gonna force you to tell me about it, I'm just curious."

"I..." she trails off, looking away from you.

"You know we're friends, right?" you continue. "You're a great friend, a beautiful girl, and as it turns out, you have the softest lips I've ever had the pleasure of kissing. I can promise you, there's nothing you can ever tell me that will change what I think of you."

She seems to ponder your words for a while, a faint blush on her face.

"I... okay, I will tell you. But first, I... um, I..."

What's wrong with her? Honestly, Fluttershy is more eloquent than this, what could possi-

"Alright," she says in a determined voice before downing the rest of her beer, shuddering and clearing her throat. "You have to promise me you'll do something for me first."

"Sure, if you tell me what it is."

"Please Anon, don't question it... either roll with it, or let me keep my past a secret."

You raise one eyebrow. "Fair enough."

Nothing fair about it but shit's getting pretty real, it seems.
She hesitates for a second before frowning, steeling her resolve.

"Kiss me."

"Kiss you?" you raise the other eyebrow. "But I di-"

She interrupts you with a hand on your arm, looking solemnly into your eyes. "Kiss me like you would kiss a lover."

You stare at her in confusion.

"Soft and tender at first... then passionate, wild, steamy... messy."

"Messy? I-"

"Sloppy."

"Sunset, what the fu-"

"I want to know what it feels like to be kissed by someone who truly cares about me. You're my best friend and I know you'd do this for me. I want to feel the love and the lust you would put into the kiss, I know you can make me feel that, and I know I can return it as well."

You remain silent for a bit, genuinely wondering what the fuck is even happening. An hour ago you didn't even see her as a romantic option, and now she's asking you for it? Whatever the catch may be, you want no part of it. You think.
Meh, who are you kidding? You've been wanting to do that for months.

"Please, Anon, I need it so much... I know you'd do this for me, you're my best friend!"

You're not sure that's how friendship works, but even if you're perfectly fine with it, things have escalated a little bit too quickly for your comfort.
Does she need a boyfriend as bad as you need a girlfriend?

After a while, you finally find something to say. "Well, I can guarantee you that nothing you can tell me will change the way I think about you, so maybe we don't have to rush things like that, you know?"

She looks down, acting all jittery. "I'm really afraid that it will, even though you seem certain that it won't..."

"It won't."

"Please... can't you do that for me? Your best friend?"

Goddammit, those eyes... those gorgeous turquoise eyes... this isn't fair. You're a man, not a god! How are you supposed to say no to such a cutie?
And more importantly, do you even have a valid reason to refuse her any of this? After all, you're pretty sure you need it as much as she does. Beyond that, she's really fucking beautiful, and you haven't had a kiss in months... except the little smooch you gave her an hour ago.

Fuck it, Operation Sunset is a go.

"Alright, Sunny. I will kiss you."

"L-like a lover?"

"No."

"But you said-"

"I will kiss you like a friend who wants nothing more than to make you happy. I want you to feel loved, to feel safe. To feel like there is nowhere else in the world you would rather be than here in this room, with our tongues caressing each other's."

You're not sure how that's any different, but you wanted to word it yourself, rather than just say 'yes'. You wanted her to understand that you're not doing this out of pity or because she asked, but also because you're going to enjoy every second of it. The way you worded it felt a little weird, but with how fast things have escalated in the past few minutes, you need to step it up yourself.

"Can I ask you something, Anon?"

"Sure."

"Why... why are you so readily acceptant of all that? A few hours ago, we were platonic friends and now you're perfectly fine with... all that? N-not that I'm trying to imply that we're no longer platonic friends, it's just that... I'm not sure I understand, you know?"

No, you don't really know what she's trying to say, but holy shit she's so adorable.

"Truth be told, you're a great girl and you're stunningly beautiful. I've been alone for a while and even though I've been busy adapting to my new life in this world..."

"Yes?" she inquires.

"Well, I'm a straight male, how could I possibly turn down such an offer? Any guy would be lucky to be given a chance to make you happy."

Her face contorts into one of fear for a few seconds. She coughs a bit and tries her hardest to settle down.

"Hey, Sunset, come on, what's wrong? Are you literally allergic to compliments?"

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Anon! It's, uh... it's the alcohol! I suppose I'm just kind of... drunk? Yeah, I think that's why I'm being weird."

Bullshit.
You don't simply acknowledge being weird when you're drunk enough to be noticeably weird, and she drank like, two beers. And that was over an hour ago, while eating. You've been drinking with her for months, she might be a bit of a lightweight but nothing that bad.

"Come on," you say as you pat your lap. She takes the hint and gets up, sitting on your lap with both legs resting on the couch on one side.
That's right, you have a big ass couch.

You smile as you bring her body closer to yours, planting a big smooch on her cheek. She blushes hard, but still seems to feel uneasy. You grab one of her legs and slowly move it over yours, allowing her to straddle your thighs, the closest to your body she can possibly be sitting in that position.
You then plant a small peck on her lips, and her blush intensifies.

You give her a longer, slightly deeper kiss, and repeat that process until she's somewhat acclimated to it.
It's like she never kissed, what the fuck! You saw her kiss Flash. The dude seemed to be complete shit at it, but now that you're kissing her, maybe she was at fault for their kisses being really lame?

This girl has some issues, and as her friend, you need to get her to tell you about it so that you can help her. Nobody should have to look this conflicted.
Especially not while you're kissing them, now that's just insulting.

Eventually she relaxes into your touch and wraps an arm around your neck, closing her eyes and returning your kiss. Finally.
Your lips rub softly against each other's for a few minutes until you decide to shift into second gear, gently proding her lips with the tip of your tongue. She jumps and recoils a bit with a small yelp.

"I'm sorry, I was just surprised, that's all!"

"It's alright, Sunny. Don't worry, that's why we're taking our time."

"I never kissed like that before..."

Man, you're starting to feel bad for Flash... but why are you not feeling bad about your current situation?
Well, you're a real manly man and everything, so surely that means you'll succeed where that little bitch Flash failed, right?
Right?

Fuck.

"You want to try?"

"I think... that's how lovers kiss, right?"

"That's one of the ways to do it, yeah."

"There are other ways?"

You don't answer, instead placing your lips against hers once again.
She closes her eyes and slightly shudders as your tongue works its way out of your mouth, prodding her tightly shut lips. You slowly begin to caress her lower lip with the tip of your tongue, feeling those soft and full lips, until she eventually decides to slightly part them. Before you have time to softly and gradually work your way inside her mouth, her own tasting appendage comes out and prods yours.

There's no hesitation as she starts to flick it against yours, digging into your back with her fingers. She sucks greedily on your tongue, and it quickly becomes clear that she's kissing you on instinct. Every fiber of her body is telling her to do this, and she simply stopped resisting. She doesn't want this, she needs this. You're perfectly fine with letting her have it, and as she continues to kiss you with what can only be described as raw passion, you retaliate by kissing her more aggressively.
You bring her body as close to yours as possible, invading her mouth and overpowering her tongue as it retreats to keep playing with yours.

The kiss is deep, heated, steamy and quite messy. Everything she wanted it to be, you remember.
There's nothing remotely romantic about it though, it's just pure, unadulterated lust.

Your chins are coated in saliva and your teeth made contact on more than one occasion, but everything about this kiss feels right. It feels like it was meant to happen.
The both of you gradually calm down, the heat slowly subsiding as your movements turn from aggressive and sloppy to sensual, more controlled, romantic kissing. For several minutes, your lips touch, your tongues dance, your salivas mix, your bodies shiver in pleasure against each other... it just feels heavenly.

Something about the situation simply makes this the most amazing kiss you ever had.
Maybe it's because for the first time in your life, you're kissing someone you have a real emotional connection with? You've heard her and her friends mention the 'magic of friendship' or something, perhaps friendship is really stronger than love?

You open your eyes and gently pull away. She opens her eyes as well, and... oh God, those eyes... those giant turquoise pools full of emotions... the most amazing kiss only makes sense when you're with the most amazing girl, you suppose.

Do you even like her that way? You always thought of her as a friend, but as her lips clench around your tongue, trying to hold the kiss for as long as possible as you pull away, you realize that it doesn't matter.

"Anon, I... I..."

"Yeah, Sunny, you. Just you. You're the most amazing girl I ever met, and this was the best kiss I ever had. By quite some margin."

If she truly had never kissed like that before, oh boy... you'd kill to taste the ecstasy that must be kissing an experienced Sunset Shimmer.

"...I promise I will tell you everything, I just want one last kiss... it was the most intense moment of my life, Anon. Right here, with my best friend kissing me as if I were the only thing that mattered to him, the only person in this world he cared about... as if kissing me were the only thing he would ever need to be happy... without having to go further..."

While you're not convinced by the very last part, you feel the need to establish something out loud.

"You are the only person in the world who truly matters to me, Sunset."

"R-really?"

In this world, at least.
You decide against replying, instead opting to dive in for another kiss, gently biting her lower lip, causing her little body to quiver. Quickly evolving into another deep and passionate makeout session, your tongues dance in your mouths in a heated kiss. Unlike the other one, it starts as tender and romantic, not hesitant or desperate.
You're kissing like two lovers would, conveying emotions through tender yet erotic caresses of your lips and tongues.

You have no idea what's happening anymore, but you do know one thing: you broke your promise. Whatever is going on will have forever changed the way you think of, and look at Sunset Shimmer.
You're unsure how much will have changed between the two of you after tonight, but you will do everything in your power to make sure whatever is currently happening happens again.
Preferably on a regular basis.

Did you fall in love with a simple kiss? Sure, it was no 'simple' kiss, but... have you always more or less loved her, just chalking it up as that 'best friend' shit?
What is love, anyway? She is your best friend, so you always loved her in a way, and deeply cared for her. Is romantic love that different? And even if it is, wouldn't it make sense for it to manifest itself when you take your friendship a step further?

Having never been in love before, you can't be sure. Maybe you're feeling something else entirely, but whatever it is, you're liking it.
And you can tell she's feeling the same thing.

The way her tongue moves around in your mouth, caressing every part of it.
The way her lips work together to encapture and suck on yours.
The way her lower body grinds against yours, her hips gyrating on your thighs as she tries to get as close to you as she physically can.
The way she lets out throaty moans of pleasure everytime she feels your teeth gently pressing down on her lower lip.
The way she looks at you when you break up the kiss to catch your breath, gazing deep into your eyes as her face slowly recedes away from yours, a thin strand of saliva refusing that you fully separate your mouths.

As you go in to kiss her again, she puts a finger on your lips, as if to stop you.

"I need to tell you something, Anon."

"Yeah?"

"I... do you remember when we became friends?"

"I sure do."

And that's true, you remember how your 'merciful' attitude towards Gilda drew her out towards you. In truth you weren't merciful at all, you just didn't give a fuck about her half-assed attempts to spread shit tier rumors about you, but that's just semantics.

"At that moment, I felt like I could tell you anything, and you would never judge me."

She takes your hand into her own.

"I felt like I could tell you anything, and you would never hate me for it."

"Sunny, I-" you're interrupted by her fingers intertwining with yours.

"I figured if you could fall in love with me, I would be able to tell you my... secret, and you would still give me a chance."

She briefly averts her gaze away from yours. Does that mean she thinks you're in love with her? Are you?
Yesterday was pretty awkward but this is the most confusing evening ever.

"A shot at redemption."

Redemption? What the fuck is she even talking about now?
Is she actually a fucking murderer or something?

You shudder a bit when the digits on her other hand wrap around yours with crushing strength, Sunset Shimmer physically steeling her resolve to go on with her confession.

"Please, give me one last kiss... no tongue, just a short, tender kiss... please?"

She's being really weird, but you oblige nonetheless.
As your lips make contact, something feels different. While she goes against her own demands by gently poking her tongue out, the kiss feels empty. It's like all of her life energy is gone, and her empty shell is kissing you.

What happened to her?
Is she so deeply afraid of what she's going to tell you that she can't even find the strength to put a sliver of emotion into that kiss? Nevertheless, you're a young adult male with a healthy sex drive who hasn't gotten any in a while, so you react accordingly.
That is, by popping another raging erection as soon as you feel her tongue brush against yours.

She's been grinding herself on your thighs for half an hour now, and you've been keeping trying to adjust your position so that she wouldn't feel it. You should have done the same thing she did and worn skinny jeans...
Except you're a straight male, so that's hardly an option. At least, regular jeans would have been better, but then it's Friday, and for your Friday nights, the both of you wear those old and ugly but extremely comfy 'only-wear-at-home' cotton pants. You changed into that shit the second you got home and so did she, comfort über alles.

A minute later, your lips part as she, once again, tries to hold onto your tongue, this time by lightly biting down on it. The slimy appendage has no trouble eluding her, and soon enough you're both looking at each other without any form of physical contact, other than the fact she's sitting on you.

That is, until she grabs your arm and guides it downwards.
Painfully slowly.

You swear it takes an entire minute before your hand comes into contact with something. The sensation is both familiar, and unfamiliar in a way, and as you look down towards where her hand is holding your arm in place, you slowly start to realize what's going on.
Sunset releases her grip on you but it's not until you look back up at her face that the gravity of the situation fully sinks in.

She's crying in silence with a neutral expression on her face. She's also trying to stand as far away from you as she can without falling off your lap, an arm raised as if to protect her face. Even though her expression is neutral, her wet and red eyes, as well as the tears slowly rolling down her cheeks betray her poker face.

You know the emotions in those eyes. Fear. Regret. Longing.

This is the look of someone who knows they just fucked up, badly.
This is the look of someone who's futilely trying to hold onto something they so desperately need.
This is the look of someone who, despite having always known it would happen at some point and having had ample time to mentally prepare for it... never expected it to hurt so fucking much.

There's something about seeing that look into the eyes of the one you love that tears your heart apart, perhaps more painfully than you did hers, because it suddenly appears quite obvious that you're the one responsible for it.

So you do something you never thought you would ever do.
You shift your body to the side, grab her by the hips and sit her down on the couch, then bend over, planting a small kiss on the tip of her fully covered and fully erect penis.

Sunset Shimmer jolts up from her somewhat slumped position she fell into after you forcefully sat her down, startled and confused by the look of acceptance you're giving her. Your own emotions are quite conflicted right now, but there's something in particular you're feeling that you can't quite pour your finger on.

As you stare into her eyes some more, it all suddenly makes sense.
Everything you thought was weird about her, her attitude, the way she would react to some situations, the odd questions, the mysterious backstory, the fear of losing your friendship, the impossibility of having sex despite wanting it...

It all makes perfect sense now, and quite frankly you don't have a major problem with it. You always thought you were straight, but if a man can have on you the effect Sunset Shimmer has, then you were probably wrong. You really don't care, all you want is to be happy, and right now being happy means being with Sunset. If being straight means being unable to feel those lips against your own on a daily basis, then fuck being straight.
You'll be a goddamn cockloving homo if that's what it takes.

Well, maybe not.
And also, this could very well be a 'heat of the moment' kind of thing. You might wake up tomorrow feeling calm, sober and not blue-balled and find you suddenly have a drastically different opinion on the matter.
But for now, you have no qualms with Sunset Shimmer, your best friend you just spent over an hour making out with, having a dick.

As long as it's not bigger than yours.

Sunset is still staring at you in complete and utter confusion, and you figure now would be as good a time as any to clarify things.

"Sunset Shimmer," you say gently as you put a hand on her arm, "you're my best friend. You're kind, you're funny, you're smart, you're gorgeous and impossibly cute, and your kisses are just out of this world. Your lips feel heavenly, your tongue is softer than silk and sweeter than sugar, and the way you grind yourself against me as you moan into my mouth is simply divine. Everything about you is divine. Needless to say, it's gonna take a hell of a lot more than you being a dude to turn me away from you."

It takes her- er, him, several minutes to fully comprehend everything you've said.
Fuck it, you don't think you can actually refer to her as a he, even with overwhelming evidence quite literally pointed at your face, it just won't work for you.
The fact she raised her arm to protect her head concerns you, though.

"Did you really think I was going to hit you? That I was going to stop being your friend or never kiss you again? I love you, Sunset. I'm not sure why I'm only realizing it now, but I love you. I love everything about you and as I said, nothing you can tell me will ever change that. You are Sunset Shimmer, and that's why I love you. What you have between your legs is irrelevant, your biological gender is irrelevant, your past is irrelevant. I fully understand why you acted the way you did and why you were scared, but I promise you, not a single one of your fears ever had a reason to be."

"...I'm so lucky to have you as a friend... thank you so much Anon, you're the best friend a girl could ever ask for... can you please keep referring to me as a girl?"

"Of course, Sunny," you say with a warm smile.

"Thanks..."

A few moments pass before she bursts into tears, bawling her eyes out for nearly ten minutes as you gently stroke her hair, a reassuring arm draped over her shoulders, holding her close to you.

"My cute, little Sunshine..." you whisper softly.

"I love you so much, Anon..."

"I love you too, Sunset."

"If only you knew how painful the past few months have been for me..."

Yeah, you hadn't considered that but you must have hurt her a lot by simply existing without knowing. Hell, yesterday only you were hitting on a girl in front of her! Goddamn, you're a sad sack of shit. Not that you could have known, she didn't exactly drop hints, but fuck you're pissed at yourself.

"Why?" you ask. You have a really good idea why, but you want her to exteriorize her pain, she needs to evacuate all this tension and those repressed emotions before she can start feeling any better.

"Every moment I spent with you during the past few months... I was in agonizing pain inside. Knowing that you liked me as a girl and really cared about me, feeling myself slowly falling for you, developing feelings stronger than friendship, knowing that we would never be together, just because of my... anatomy."

You wrap your other arm around her and pull her even closer into a full body hug. You don't know what she's about to say, but you know she needs this.

"I knew that if I ever told you, you'd be disgusted. You'd shun me, perhaps you'd beat me up, and rightfully so! Every moment I spent with you, I was in pain... yet I still wanted to be with you. Every time I thought it would be the last time we would hang out together, because I knew I would eventually work up the courage to tell you, because that would end the pain... with more pain. That last kiss, how I tried to hold onto you with my teeth... that wasn't even conscious, I didn't realize I was doing that until after it was over. My body and mind's last futile attempt at holding onto something I knew I was about to lose forever. Then I started to cry because I knew that you would feel hurt, you would feel betrayed, lied to, but also because I feared you would beat me within an inch of my life for having made you do... things like this, with another guy."

You're not sure what the fuck kind of guys she's known in her life but you feel your stomach churning at the mere notion of hurting her, much less put her in a coma, just because you kissed her without knowing she had a dick. It must take someone who has some real serious fucking issues with their own sexuality to even consider doing such a thing. You might have to ask some questions to your male 'friends' when you go back to school on Monday.
Or, maybe it's your fault entirely. After all, you've told her some stories about Earth and how the humans in your world tend to be a little more... violent, than the ones here. But surely she couldn't have thought you, of all people, would ever hurt her, right?

Fuck this line of thought. For now you'll just keep stroking her hair tenderly while she lets it all out, she needs this time. This is for her, this evening is all about her. Hell, until you're one hundred percent certain that she's as happy as she can possibly be, your life is going to be all about her.
You crushed her emotionally for months without ever knowing, but what's done is done. You can't undo the damage but you can repair it, and you are going to enjoy repairing it. You are going to turn this cute little femboy into the happiest, most satisfied and emotionally fulfilled girlfriend this side of... whatever the fuck this planet's called.
You solemnly swear it.

"And in a single instant, all the fears, all this sadness, all the pain, the torment... all washed away, by you, a straight guy I've lied to for months..."

You know what's coming, and you mentally prepare for a possible kek.

"...with a kiss on the tip of my, um... manhood."

Yup.
kek

You're not sure if it's the fact she's calling you straight and mentioning you kissed a cock in the same sentence, or just the way she worded it, but it's so fucking cute. It takes all of your willpower not to rip her pants off and kiss it again.
If not only to see her reaction.

You don't care whether that's gay or not, but then you're talking about consoling an alien, possibly underage trap by kissing her cloth covered penis. Such levels of weird reach far beyond the whole straight/gay thing.

"By the way, you haven't lied to me, Sunset."

"But I did! I always pretended to be a girl."

"No, you haven't."

"I did!" she says, her voice cracking a little.

"I'm serious, can you recall a single instance when you were actively trying to convince me you were a girl?"

The look on her face as she scrunches up her nose gives you an internal kek. If you had to classify it, it would most likely end up in the 'top' category.

"No, you cannot, because you never did. Everyone just seems to think you're a girl because you look like one, you never had to try and pretend you were one, everyone just assumes you are. It's not like you ever explicitly tried to persuade me, or anyone else, that you didn't have a dick."

"I'm still sorry about all of it, I feel like I've deceived and betrayed you, it feels awful..."

"Everything is fine, Sunny. You're still my best friend, you're still beautiful and cute as a button, and you're still the same adorable little girl I wish I could make out with every day for the rest of my life."

"Even if I'm... a guy?"

"Even if you're a guy. And I have to say, you are bar none the cutest, most attractive guy I ever met, with the most gorgeous eyes and cutest little... how'd you call it again? 'Manhood'?" you ask, prodding her now flaccid dick.

She instinctively recoils away from you, but you lay a hand on her arm and gently stroke the soft skin with your thumb.

"I-it's not that little!" she argues, blushing.

You haven't really paid attention to that, to be entirely honest. You only got a good look at it once but it was through her clothes, and you were a bit more preoccupied about things that, at the time, held a higher degree of relevance in your mind.
It's obviously small enough when flaccid to be practically invisible with the right kind of underwear, but that doesn't necessarily mean much.

You scoot over next to her on the couch, her hand quickly finding yours as your fingers end up entangled once again.

"I love you, Sunset Shimmer. You're my best friend, and the most important person in my life."

She rests her head on your shoulder, much like she did a few hours earlier.

"As I told you, there is nothing that will ever change that."

Her fingers clutch yours a little tighter.

"Except..." you trail off, leaving her enough time to become worried for a brief moment.

Hey, you're not mad but still, a man made you kiss him, and even his cock! Alright, the cock thing was your fault, but he put you in this position. And he French kissed you. That's seriously gay.
Worse, he made you French kiss him. You're perfectly fine with it and you're planning on doing it again (and then some) in the very near future, but that's still fucking gay.

Before she has time to run any disaster scenario through her head, you speak up.

"Sunset Shimmer," you ask solemnly, lifting her chin up with your index finger, "will you be my girlfriend?"

Staring intensly at you for a few seconds, she finally nods fiercely as her eyes water again. A wave of emotions hits her and she resumes her crying, her little body heaving along with her sobs, but this time there's no pain. You don't like to see her cry but you know that she is no longer in pain. She's sobbing softly into your chest, her fingers crushing yours as she desperately holds you as close to her as possible.

Silly Sunny. As if there were anywhere else in the world you'd rather be right now. Or ever, really.

Her crying subsides as the situation fully sinks in. The pain, the loneliness, the pretending, the apprehension... it's all gone. You decide to put emphasis on that point by kissing her on the forehead.

"Shhh, no tears now, only hugs."

You hug her and she returns it, moaning happily as you plant small kisses along her jawline.

"You're not gonna tell anyone else, are you?"

"Of course not," you reply with a peck on her lips.

"I love you so much... I can't believe you're so accepting, after all of this you still want to be with me... I'm so lucky to have you, Anon. Any guy would be lucky to have you."

"Now that's gay," you remark with a frown.

She frowns as well and opens her mouth as if to say something, but before she can find her words, you both erupt in boisterous laughter.

The laughter eventually dies down and you look at each other, your eyes full of love and a strong desire to make each other happy, starting now.
The kiss is short and to the point, what little bit of tongue is involved conveys so much more emotion than you could ever hope to put into words. Your lips part, a sliver of drool connecting your lips to... her chin?
Okay, maybe that kiss was a little sloppier than you thought.

"Sloppy kissing is best kissing."

Sunset nods with a grin, and you realize that you just said that out loud.

"No homo though, right?" you ask.

A playful punch to the shoulder is the only reply she gives you. You're pretty sure every fiber of her body is screaming at her to call you a faggot, but she needs to get comfortable with all this first.

"Say, Sunny, you wanna sleep here for tonight?"

"You'd be okay with that?" she asks as her eyes light up.

"Sure."

It wouldn't be the first time anyway, she often crashes at your place after a night of drinking. Even if tonight, your mouths were partaking in a different activity.

"I'd love nothing more!" she says enthusiastically.

You figured after such an emotional rollercoaster, she wouldn't want to sleep alone. Luckily for her, your arms are wide open and they will not close until her little body is pressed tightly against your chest.

Goddamn, you feel good. She looks so happy, it warms your heart. Your very core is radiating with heat and happiness just looking at her cute, content little face.
You made all the pain go away and now you're going to provide her with all the love and cuddling she needs, being a far better boyfriend than that faggot Flash could have ever hoped to be.

And maybe, if revealing her gender cleared up the whole 'no sex' thing, you could be her lover. One she can fully open herself to, admit her deepest desires and everything without fear of being rejected, or otherwise judged in any way. You really hope that after tonight, there's nothing she won't readily confess to you.

"Anon, can I ask you a serious question?"

She stirs you of your thoughts and you smile at her.

"You don't have to ask for my permission, you know? Just ask me whatever you want, Sunny.'

"Well, I was wondering if, you know... when I asked you if you would be alright with a relationship without sex..."

"Yeah?" you inquire.

"I guess by now, you figured that it was only because I didn't want the guy to know that I was... also a guy."

"Yeah, I figured that part out. Though I can guarantee you, many guys are a lot more curious about other dudes' cocks than they would ever admit."

She lets out a mild chuckle and you remember than she's actually a guy, and more than likely knows what you mean.

"So you'd really be okay with having sex with me, even though I'm not really a girl?"

You put on your asshole grin. "I don't know, that sounds a little too gay for me. I mean, balls could touch and everything, that would-"

A sharp pain in your cheek cuts you off. Did she... did she just bitchslap you?

As you both realize what just happened, her entire body suddenly jerks back, as far away from you as she can while she raises both of her arms to protect her face. "I'M SORRY! PLEASE, ANON, DON'T HIT ME!"

"What the fuck," you ask. Yeah, this is the kind of shit you can't even find a question mark for.

"Please don't hurt me! Please don't! I'm sorry, I didn't want to do that, please don't hit me! Please, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!'

You what mate.

You're not sure what the fuck just happened, but it's not like you've never been slapped before. Did you mention you were never any good with the ladies?

You reach for her and grab one of her arms, gently pulling it down from her face, revealing her wet turquoise orbs. You plant a soft and loving kiss on her cute little wet cheek, a tear drop smearing on your upper lip, which you quickly wipe away, cupping her face in your hand.
It's alright, she's gonna need some time to adapt, it's normal for her to freak out a bit. In time, you will never see tears again in those mesmerizing eyes of hers.

"I-I'm sorry, Anon."

"It's fine, Sunny."

"I... I-I just wanted to punch you in the s-shoulder, you know? Playfully... but at the same moment I thought that maybe there was a possiblity you were being serious, and that we'd never- I mean, I kind of, just, out of frustration, I... please Anon, I'm so sorry, it's perfectly fine if we never have sex, I'll still be the happiest girl alive as long as you stay with me! Please, don't go, forget I asked anything, please stay with me!"

"Sunset..." you start, rubbing your sore cheek. Goddamn she's strong, you've been slapped before but shit.

"Please hold me," she whispers without even looking at you. You wrap your arms around her once again and hold her close, rocking her back and forth to try and calm her down.

"I promise you, as long as you want me to, I will make passionate love to you whenever you want, in whichever way you want."

You lean closer to her hear and whisper, "and while I don't particularly appreciate you slapping me out of the blue, it's a different story in the bedroom. If you like it rough and want to be on top, who am I to deny you that? Just, you know, try to keep the platonic slapping to a minimum because goddamn, you got some serious strength in those cute little femboy arms of yours."

"D-don't call me that!" she blurts out with a heavy blush.

Yeah, right. You can feel that this is gonna be the new 'Sunny', except you can't really call her that in public. Still, that just made her all hot and bothered, it's obvious she likes it.
...or maybe it's because you kissed for hours and blue-balled the everloving fuck out of each other.

Yeah, that sounds a little more logical.

"Come on, we should go to bed. It's been an emotionally charged evening, it's taken its toll on me by now and I don't suppose you're faring any better."

"As long as I can fall asleep in your arms..."

You smile and hug her, deciding to go for a quick shower before going to bed. You're going to give her some privacy, though.

"Wanna take a quick shower first? I think we both could use one."

"Yes, that's a good idea. Should we shower... together?"

"Nah, I think I'm gonna give you your privacy this time. Even if it's just for ten minutes, I think it would do you some good to be alone for a little while, think about everything that just happened, and generally take a moment to cool off a little bit."

"Alright, but promise me we'll take showers together in the future!"

You put a hand to your chest. "I, Anonymous, solemnly swear that in a few days' time, I will be washing every square inch of your body with my tongue."

Her hands shoot up to her crotch, as if to cover an instaboner. "Anon!"

"What?" you ask with a cheeky grin.

She lets out a little giggle of her own, walking into the bathroom.

Twenty minutes later, she comes out smelling of various flowers and fruit and shit, and it's revolting. This world has so much girly shit that looks like it belongs in that little girls' show from Earth... 'My Little Pony', you think it was called. You heard there were grown men watching that shit... urgh.
Regardless, you're not actually complaining. She smells heavenly, and while you don't like to admit it, you love your orange blossom shower gel. That shit makes you smell like you bathed in the essence of the gods.

She makes her way towards your bedroom, wearing nothing but a white towel attached a couple of millimeters above her nipples. Oh God, you can see the areola... unf.
She's making you 100% gay.

Wait, are you gay if you're drooling over tits? They're male tits though, but... are they? You fucking swear her chest has two little bumps, she has the tiniest hint of a pair of breasts, you're sure of it.
Whatever, you will have to conduct some more in-depth experiments later. Hopefully, tonight.

"Anon?" she calls from the bedroom as you spot her slipping under the covers, wearing nothing but a see-through purple nightgown.

Did she carry that around in her backpack? Did she even plan for this to happen? Maybe deep inside, she hoped it would go well? After all, as afraid as she was, she knows you. From what she told you, your 'I don't give a fuck so I'm not mad' attitude is what drew her to you, and apparently the reason why she decided to confess at all. So surely she must have known it had a chance to work.

"Yes, Sunny?"

"You better be ready when you come back, my arms will be expecting you, and I will be expecting your arms. Lots and lots of cuddling will take place, and it will involve kissing. Of the sloppy variety."

You try your hardest not to crack a gay joke. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

And that is correct, you would not.
Well, you would, but this is still the best possible thing you can think of.

So apparently she's back to her usual cocky and confident attitude. You like that, but you also like the shy little trap holding onto you for dear life, so afraid you will leave her, it's so unimaginably cute.
You guess you just love her, so that encompasses everything she can be or do.

You walk into the bathroom and close the door behind you, humming happily as you stare at the framed picture of you with that foreign exchange student who was here when you first arrived. She was a pretty hot little nerd with quite the pair of tits, but she ain't got shit on Sunset as far as looks (or anything else, really) are concerned.

Your humming slowly devolves into loud, slightly off-key singing as you step into the shower, suddenly craving a martini. You ignore that though, instead focusing on letting the hot water cleanse your body and mind.

You strip down to your underwear (what? you generally shower in the morning, so you just got dressed afterwards without thinking) and slip below the covers, happily settling into Sunset's awaiting embrace. She wraps her arms around you and you wrap yours around her, feeling each other's body heat as her frilly little garment does practically nothing to prevent the skin from touching. She pulls you into a kiss and as you reach for your nightstand to turn the light off, she stops you, her playful demeanor quickly morphing into a serious expression.

"Anonymous..."

Oh fuck, she's using your real name. Shit just got real.

"You are from another dimension, right?"

"Yes?"

You don't like where this is going.

"Well, I have a confession to make."

You really don't like where this is going.

"I come from another dimension as well."

You raise two and a half eyebrows. Fucking what mate.
She just stares at you, an unreadable expression adorning her (still adorable) face.

"Uh... okay? You see, the prerequisite for a joke is that it be funny."

She looks down, and away from you.

"It's never been funny."

Okay... things just got awkward really fast in here.

"Sunset, would you mind elaborating a little bit on a few things? Starting with what the fuck you're talking about?"

"I'm... do you promise none of it will change anything between us?"

"Do I even have to answer that?"

She cracks a weak smile, before taking a deep breath.

"So, there is this other dimension where there is this kingdom called Equestria, ruled by a certain Princess Celestia, who just happens to be..."

"...and then Twilight went back to my world, and I just sort of... stayed there, with my new friends. Then, two years later, you showed up and... you know how it all went from that point onwards."

So, that busty exchange student is this world's counterpart to some princess horse from Sunset's dimension.
Sure, why not. At this point there's very little you would deem impossible, but if you had your weird-shit-o-meter with you, this would definitely rate a 9.0 on it.

But then, your arrival here was nothing short of fucked up. You kind of dropped from the sky from weird looking portal thingies in what you can only describe as a remake of the ending of Thor: The Dark World. There was some sort of olympic event going on with archery and dirt bikes and shit, but instead of old naked scientists, forgettable one-dimensional villains, busty actresses incapable of pronouncing Icelandic words and hot thunder gods with long flowing blonde hair and bulging muscles... well, you landed in the middle of thin, oddly shaped and pastel colored 'humans' with a weird case of macrocephaly.

Oh and also, you're now dating a male who was once a horse well on his way to become an evil wizard.
And you sort of kissed his cock an hour ago.

How is this your life again?

Sunset's story was pretty touching but you really struggle to believe most of it. At this point you suspect it's simply your brain refusing to believe shit like this, as some sort of a last-ditch defense mechanism.

You know she's got to be saying the truth, but you'll still have to ask Rarity tomorrow.
In French.

Keks will be had, you know she's genuinely interested when she's in your class, but she's also pretty bad at it.
In her defense, French is possibly the hardest language to learn without having to learn a new alphabet, or at least a bunch of new characters and punctuation and shit. There's also the fact that you suck shit as a teacher, because you're not a teacher.
Oh well.

You wish you could ask Sunset if she was a girl back in Equestria, but you don't want to torment her any further. The memories of her past life aren't the most uplifting thing you ever heard, and she's had enough for tonight anyway.

Still, you suspect she was a female pony because even though she has a dick, which you fully intend on examinating in greater detail in the near future, she looks and sounds far too feminine to have been born a male. Even if she has virtually no breasts, somewhat narrow hips and impressive physical strength.

You give her a soft kiss on the forehead.
You just love doing that, and she loves it as well. It's your go-to 'I love you and you can always count on me to console you and make you happy, whether we're currently best friends or gay interspecies interdimensional lovers' kiss.

You pause a moment, taking some time to take a good look at your new girlfriend- er, boyfriend? Whatever, she's just so adorable... she looks so tiny and defenseless, yet at some point in her life she became a giant fucking devil who turned an entire school into zombies.

Yeah.
Your boyfriend's a badass.

You get a sudden flash of grossly oversized velociraptors running in the jungle, but you shrug it off.
Probably something about walking the dinosaur.

You bring her into another kiss, feeling happier than ever. Happy to be with her, whatever and whoever she once was, or currently is. To you, she is just Sunset Shimmer.
She was once your best friend and is now your girlfriend, but you're pretty certain that she was always meant to be yours.

I mean come on, you traveled into another dimension to fall in love with a creature who traveled into this dimension from yet a different one, switching species and most likely genders in the process? You're not gonna have me believe that this shit is all coincidences.
