As Celestia's sun rose in the distance, the crow of a rooster arose the brawny stallion Big Macintosh from his slumber. Opening his eyes, he noticed that his bed felt unusually hard and stiff. Then he rubbed his eyes and got a good look at his surroundings. He was shocked to discover that somehow he had awoken in Fluttershy's living room. Not only that, but the whole place seemed a whole lot bigger than usual. The vase of flowers next to him was the size of a monolith.

The realization hit Big Mac, or rather Small Mac, like a ton of bricks. By some strange twist of fate, he had been shrunken in his sleep and ended up on Fluttershy's coffee table! The red apple farmer took a deep breath and tried to process his situation.

Before he could, however, he heard the sound of a door opening and closing. He turned around and, at the top of the stairs, there she stood. The kindest, gentlest, most timid pony in all of Ponyville. The beautiful, sweet animal lover (and Big Mac lover) Fluttershy. The yellow pegasus descended the staircase carrying a plate of tea and hors d' oeuvres. Each step she took felt like a bigger tremor than the last. She loomed over the red puny pony like a tower in Manehattan. When she was about to set the tray down on the table, Big Mac had to move out of the way quickly to avoid getting flattened.

Big Mac felt his heart beat out of his chest from such a close call. He tried calling up to Fluttershy to let her know he was there, but his calls went completely unheard. All of a sudden, the doorbell rang, the loud noise booming against the farmer's tiny eardrums. "Oh my gosh! They're here!" Fluttershy gasped, power walking toward the front door.

The yellow mare opened the door and two ponies greeted her. The school teacher, Cheerilee, and Pinkie Pie's meek little sister, Marble Pie. Both mares that Big Mac had once had crushes on. Fluttershy mentioned that she was having the two of them over for book club that day.

"Hello, Cheerilee. Hello, Marble," she greeted her guests. "I'm so glad you could make it today."

"Good morning, Fluttershy," Cheerilee replied. "We wouldn't have missed this for the world. Right, Marble?"

"Mmhm," the grey pony said quietly.

"Please come in. Help yourselves to the tea and sandwiches on the table," said Fluttershy.

Big Mac couldn't help but feel a little awkward, what with his current marefriend and two of his ex-crushes all being in the same room together. Truth be told, for a while, he couldn't decide who he wanted to be with most. He had known Cheerilee the longest, but hadn't really felt attracted to her until the CMCs put the two of them under that love spell. After it wore off, they pretended to go out together once just to mess with them, but he had to admit, she was quite the attractive mare. Not to mention smart, caring and.... well, cheery. According to Apple Bloom, a lot of the colts in her class had trouble paying attention to the lessons because of the teacher's beauty, which Big Mac thought was adorable.

Then there was Marble Pie. She was really cute and sweet and all and he felt like they really connected during that Hearth's Warming they spent together at her farm, but she was almost impossible to carry a conversation with. Not that he was much for conversation himself, but still.

Fluttershy was the whole package: smart, sweet, beautiful and adorably timid, yet still fun to talk to. However, shyness was a prominent trait that they both shared and Big Mac knew that if they were going to be together, he had to pony up and make the first move. He was so glad he did, too, because he really couldn't ask for a better mare to be with than Fluttershy.

Each of the giant mares took a seat around the table. Fluttershy pulled out a hardcover book. "Alright. Did you both bring your own copies of Lord of the Parasprites like I asked?" she said while her guests each enjoyed a mini-sandwich.

"Mmhm," Marble responded, presenting her own book.

"Sure did," Cheerilee chirped, showing off hers.

"Great! It really is an amazing story so far, isn't it? Oh, all those poor little foals. I hope they all make it home safely in the end."

Big Mac grew a little nervous. He had read that book before and...... she might be a bit disappointed.

In the meantime, however, the tiny stallion had to get these mares to realize he was there, but how? Just then, he heard the sound of something hopping across the floor. It was the ironically named Angel the rabbit entering the room. That gave Big Mac an idea. He called down to the little white bunny, who looked up and saw the once tall, mighty stallion standing on a coffee table at only an inch and a half tall. The rabbit broke down laughing at the shrunken pony, who was very unamused.

"Eeyup. Laugh it up, cottontail," he said. "Listen. I'll give you a whole basket of freshly plucked carrots if you help me get Fluttershy's attention."

Angel thought for a second. He wasn't really a fan of Fluttershy and Big Mac's relationship. In fact, on more than one occasion, he had deliberately gotten in the way when the two of them wanted to be alone together, as if he wanted Fluttershy all to himself. Still, he agreed to give the guy a paw just this once. He let Big Mac jump onto his head and hopped away.

But he didn't hop toward Fluttershy. Instead, Angel sprung into the lap of Marble, who seemed kind of resistant to let the fuzzy animal get so close to her. Big Mac figured it didn't really matter as long as someone noticed him, but Marble seemed like she was close to panicking, especially when Angel leapt up onto her chest. The shy grey mare rubbed her nose and sniffed. Her breath started to hitch and her head tilted back as she prepared to sneeze. The little farm pony tried to shield himself behind Angel's ears, but it was no use.

"Achoo!" Marble's sneeze blew the tiny pony off of Angel's head and sent him hurdling back to the table. He landed on one of the mini-sandwiches still on the plate. For such a timid pony, she sure had a big sneeze.

"Oh my!" Fluttershy gasped. "I'm sorry, Marble Pie. I forgot you were allergic to bunnies."

Marble Pie rubbed her nose as Angel jumped down onto the floor. She smiled to show that it was alright.

"Um, Angel. Would you mind waiting in the bedroom until Marble leaves? I'd really appreciate it."

Angel nodded and started to leave, but not before stopping to give a smug look to his little bug-sized friend.

"You knew that was gonna happen, didn't you?" asked the angry micro-stallion. The sly little fuzzball gave a mischievous laugh and hopped away.

"Mmm! Fluttershy, these mini-sandwiches are delicious," Cheerilee remarked, finishing off the one she'd been eating. She reached down to grab another one off the plate. The one Big Mac was currently resting on. The micro work pony panicked, trying to figure out what to do next. As the giant magenta mare opened her mouth to take a bite, Big Mac decided to jump for it, landing on her rather large breast. He bounced and slid into her cleavage. He had to duck and hide when her hand came up to scratch the itch he had made.

This wasn't quite where he imagined he'd find himself and he certainly didn't mean to invade Cheerilee's body like this, but.... he had to admit it was quite cozy. It was like resting in a bed made of two soft, fluffy balloons. And she smelled like fresh violets. No wonder so many colts had trouble focusing in class. Listening to the rhythmic sound of her heartbeat, Big Mac completely forgot what he'd been trying to do.

Suddenly, the teacher shivered and wrapped her arms around herself. "Is it getting a little chilly in here, or is it just me?" she asked.

"I can turn up the heat if you want," Fluttershy offered.

"That's okay. I brought a sweater."

Hearing that brought the tiny stallion back to reality. He managed to squeeze his way out of Cheerilee's cleavage just as she was about to put on her bright red sweater. Just before he could get covered, he jumped out of the way and landed on the nice soft couch.

Or maybe not that soft, since he still felt a little sore from hitting it. Nevertheless, it was still better than being suffocated under a bunch of thick wool, but just barely. Then he remembered his mission. He still had to find a way to be noticed. He looked up at his monolithic marefriend Fluttershy. It was incredible how huge she was. She looked like a gorgeous giant nature goddess with her long mane flowing down her shoulder like a waterfall made of cotton candy and her big wonderfully toned bottom filling out those black yoga pants perfectly.

Then it hit him. The only way to get Fluttershy to notice him was for Big Mac to climb all the way up her body to her face and talk to her directly. It wasn't going to be easy and it might take him all day, but he was a pretty strong climber. After doing a couple of warm-up stretches, he gripped the cloth of the giant pony's pants and started climbing. When he pulled on the fabric, he could see parts of her skin through the openings, but there was no time to feel embarrassed about it. He had to get to Fluttershy's face.

It wasn't long before the pegasus mare felt something crawling up the rear of her pants. It made her heart jump a little at first, but when she looked down, she saw what looked like a fire ant. She pinched it carefully in her fingers and pulled it up to her face. Oddly enough, she could've sworn she heard it screaming. Upon closer inspection, she realized that what she had found was no fire ant and the discovery of who it really was made her spit out her tea.

"What's wrong, Fluttershy?" Cheerilee asked.

"You won't believe this, but... I think I just found... Big Macintosh!"

"Big Macintosh?" Cheerilee said, confused. When she and Marble took a closer look, however, they saw that she was right. Cheerilee's heart skipped a beat and Marble nearly choked on her sandwich.

Fluttershy looked at the tiny stallion closer. "Big Mac? Is that you?" she asked cautiously.

"Eeyup," he responded.

She couldn't believe it. "Oh gosh! Have you been here the whole time?!"

"Eeyup."

"I'm so sorry we didn't see you there sooner! You're not hurt are you?"

"Nope."

"Oh good. I'd hate for anything to happen to you just because we didn't see you there."

"Do you know how you got so small?" asked Cheerilee.

"Nope."

"Well, don't worry," Fluttershy reassured. "We'll take good care of you until you're back to normal. Right girls?"

"Mmhm," Marble agreed.

"Absolutely," said Cheerilee.

Big Mac smiled. Hopefully, he'd be able to live up to his name again soon, but until then, at least he had his sweet marefriend and two other kind ponies to watch out for him in the meantime.
