Chapters Twilight's Contract with Death
Prologue: Before You Go...
"Well Celestia," Death says with a smile as he opens the door of her room and gives her a small bow. "How are you this morning?”
“I’m well, Death, I-I mean… Master…” she replies, trying to stay in character, as per her contract with her. “Did you sleep well?”
"I slept very well. Thank you for asking. Though I will admit that I missed having you sleeping at my side," He replies with a smile and then walks up to her bed and then pets her head gently.
“I know. I have too. But being a mother has its responsibilities too, right?”
"Yes it does, but I know that you love caring for our foal don't you?" He asks and then lifts her chin with his hoof and leans in to kiss her lips softly.
Celestia moans softly into the kiss, kissing him back before she hears their foal, a Pegasus filly start to become fussy, which she usually is when she wakes up.
Death breaks their kiss and looks over at the crib that their filly was resting in. "You may go and take care of her. I'm going to take care of one last thing around here then I will want to hold my little filly," He says and looks over his body. "Don't wanna scare her right?”
Celestia nods and goes over to her daughter’s crib and gently lifts her with her warm, yellow magical aura. “Awww, come here sweetie… Everything okay?” she says to the young filly, nuzzling her warmly,

Death smiles and then walks out of her room and then closes the door and sheds his disguise that he put on around Celestia and their filly. "Now for business."
“It’s okay… It’s okay… Mommy’s hear for you sweetie…” Celestia says softly, gently rubbing the filly’s back gently to calm her down.
As the filly cries she slowly calms down and then nuzzles into her mother's chest and coos softly as the tears that were sliding down her young face rub off in her mother's white fur.
“There, there… There’s nothing to be afraid of…” The Alicorn looks up and sees Death in his pony form return to the room. “Glad you’re back.”
"Thank you my dear Celestia. Is she doing ok?" He asks and looks down at their daughter and then leans in and nuzzle their daughter's forehead softly.
“She’s still a bit fussy, but she’s calming down a bit. Want to see if you can finish the job?”
"Of course," He says and holds out his foreleg as his horn glows and lifts his daughter from Celestia's grasp and sets her down in his own. "How are you little one?" He asks and then kisses her forehead softly.
The filly coos against her father’s gently touch, giggling as he kisses her forehead.
"There you go. There's that smile mommy and daddy like to see," He says and smiles at her before giving her a happy smile.
The little pony extends her tiny hooves as she looks at her daddy, wanting a hug.
He lifts her up and then hugs her gently. "Love you too sweetie.”
She coos cutely as she hugs her daddy with her hooves, nuzzling him softly.
He smiles and then gives her nose a gentle nuzzle. "Do you want mommy to hold you?" He asks and then looks up at Celestia who had a smile on her face.
“I’ll hold her if you want…” Celestia grins lighting up her horn, offering to hold her daughter again.
"Here you go my pet," He says and holds out his hoof and then waves a hoof at her as she floats from him.
Celestia then holds the filly in her magic, seeing a smile on her face. “I don’t know what you do, but you always seem to calm her down when I can’t.”
"It's a father thing. You'll pick up on your motherly instinct soon," He says and then winks at her. "I must be on my way. Your sister wants me to speak with her about some business between she and I.”
“Understood, Master. Tell her I send her my wishes and I say hello. Also, tell her I am doing well under your care.”
"I will and make sure to get yourself some food and drink. Don't want my pet starving while I'm away," He says and then leans in and licks her nose teasingly before quickly turning back to the door.
“Of course!” she giggles. “Have a safe trip!”
"I will and I am sure that it will not be a boring one either," He says before he vanishes into a portal that appears before him as he looks over his shoulder at his pet and filly.
Both Celestia and their daughter wave towards daddy before he disappears into the portal.
Twilight's Contract with Death
"Good to be back in Equestria again," He says as his portal opens up inside of one of the many hallways inside of Canterlot's Castle. He looks around and sees that he is alone. "Well looks like I can do this without scaring anypony to my name," He says as he turns his head to the side and pops his neck before his horn glows and his disguise fades leaving him in his natural boney state.
Meanwhile, Princess Luna sits in her throne in the throne room, talk with the guards to pass the time, since there hasn’t been anypony to talk to all day and royal business has been slow lately.
"Yes Your Highness, I must admit it's strange that Princess Celestia hasn't been here for a while. Is she ok?" One of the guards asks before a knock echoes in the room, coming from the large double doors.
“We might have our answer. I have a feeling who it is…” the night princess says in a dry voice, her eyes squinting towards the large double doors.
Slowly the doors open and reveal the being who Luna believed it was. "The beautiful Princess of the Night, it's good to see you again," Death says with a polite edge to his voice as he gives her a slight bow.
Luna signals to the guards to stand down and be at ease. “He means no harm,” she says to them, getting up from her throne and approaches the cloaked figured. “It has been a while since we last met. How is my sister doing under your care?”
"She told me to tell you that she sends her greetings and that she is doing fine," He says with a grin under the hood of his cloak. "Your Guards do know that they aren't to speak of any of this, yes?”
“Correct.” Luna pauses. “So my sister is doing well, you say?”
"Yes and she has had her first foal. A filly as a matter of fact, a very pretty little Pegasus," He says and then uses his magic to make an image of the filly appear in the air between them like a window.
“Hmmm, she is adorable, I will say,” Luna grins as she looks at the picture. “She has her eyes.”
"That she does. Now I believe there was some matters you and I needed to discuss correct?" He asks as his horn ceases to glow and the image of the young filly fades away.
“Yes. You said you have plans for the next pony to serve you. Twilight Sparkle, isn’t it?”
"Yes I do. She sent me a letter saying that she wants to make a deal with me. The same ten years your sister serves for the immortality of her five friends.”
“Hmm, I see. What sort of plans do you have in store for her, if I may ask, not that it’s going to leave this room.”
"For now that will be for she and I to discuss when she comes face to face with me once more," He replies with a smile that was hidden under the cowl of his hood.
Luna sighs softly. “Understood. What is your message to me then?”
"I would actually like to discuss plans to build more onto Canterlot’s castle. I have some plans that I want to run by you and your experts and also, here is Twilight's letter," He says as from under his cloak, two rolled up pieces of parchment float out and float before her.
She uses her aura to read Twilight’s contract. “It’s interesting to see that Twilight would like to see her friends around for a while longer, considering she is immortal but they aren’t.”
"Friendship is a tricky thing, my fair Princess. Sometimes it will lead you down impossible paths to save them and keep them around. I once saw a pony so desperate to save her friend that she begged me to make a deal with her; take her as my slave till she died to keep her friend alive.”
“Really now? Was her friend sick? Near death?” Luna asks the cloaked figure.
"Near death, a disease that still to this day has no cure but is so rare that it hasn't popped up in... say fifty or so years. I saved her from it, and I kept my agreement with that mare till the day she joined the Eternal Herd.”
“I see. So you aren’t as heartless as others make you out to be then, yes?”
"No I'm not. Ponies always think I am heartless," He replies with a giggle and then looks over at the Guards.
“Hmmm, interesting to know, to say the least, huh?”
"Yes it is my Princess.”
“Anyway, there are matters you wanted to discuss regarding the castle here, yes? They regard what will happen when Twilight is in your care?” Luna asks Death, wanting to know the reason for his visit as per his letter to her ahead of time.
"Correct. Now shall we retire to your chambers to make sure this is all private?”
Luna nods to him. “Follow me then.”
"Lead the way," He replies and then nods to the Guards before following Luna out of the throne room.
The lunar princess leads Death out of the throne room and towards her private chambers, leading him down a narrow, but high ceilinged corridor with many painting and stained glass portraits decorating the otherwise empty space.
"You know Princess... I keep forgetting the wonders you all go through and triumph at over these long years. It really is something that can boggle the mind," He says as he looks at one of the large stained glass window.
“Why do you ask that? I’m curious.”
"It's just something I really never considered. Looking at these..." He says and then nods to one of Twilight and her friends after they had beaten Discord. "I realize how strong you'd have to be to endure.”
“Ah yes, that one. That was dedicated to Twilight Sparkle and her friends before I… returned to the public eye,” Luna comments on the particular window.
"I see. After the one year you spent regaining your strength after the Elements purified you?" He asks, commenting on his knowledge of some of the events.
“Yes… that’s correct. You were informed about those set of events, yes?”
"Some of them yes. Some ponies who died where able to tell me of certain ones. Now where is that room of yours?”
“Just a few doors down from the window,” she mentions taking a few more steps down the hall before stopping at a large set of doors.
"Ever think that double doors for your chambers is a bad idea?" Death asks as he looks at the dark blue doors and sees small crescent moons, much like the one her Cutie Mark resembles along the edges of each of the doors.
“Because of the possibility of others listening in on me?” she asks as she opens her doors, leading to her room.
"That and if the castle was invaded they'd have a bigger entrance into your room," He says as he follows her inside and closes the doors with his magic and sees a few documents on the table. "Already have some kind of plan in mind?”
“Generally yes, but I believe you wanted to save those important details for here yes?” Luna asks Death as they sit opposite each other at the table.
"Yes I did. Now let's talk," He says as he pulls back the cowl of his hood to make himself comfortable as they begin talk of the castle's new additions.
“You said you wanted to add onto the castle, as per your plans with Twilight, yes?”
"Yes I did and these are some of what I had in mind," He says as he pulls out a roll of parchment and sets it down beside the notes that Luna had.
Luna looks at the parchment. “Looks like you have a lot of plans for her?”
"Yes I do. She is going so far to keep her friends alive that she said she's willing to do anything I ask of her. I am surprised by her resolve to keep her friends alive.”
“I am too, but then again, they are her closest friends since she arrived here in Ponyville, from what my sister has told me. What plans do you have for her that would cause these new additions?”
"For now, I would recommend a very large nursery. You're going to need it.”
“Are you suggesting what I think you’re suggesting you’re going to be doing with her?” Luna asks, raising an eyebrow.
"That all depends. What do you think I'll be doing?" He asks and tilts his head a little to the side.
“Are you going to be breeding her?” the princess asks bluntly.
"Yes I am. Quite a lot with some of the items I have that'll make sure she wants it.”
“Hmm, quite interesting indeed. Not what you had in store for my sister, yes?”
"No, she has something different happening with her entirely. But she did have our foal so there is one member of the Royal Family that isn't an Alicorn like yourselves.”
“I see now. So when their contracts are up, this is where the new foals, whether it be by my sister or Twilight, will be housed and raised?”
"Yes. But Twilight may keep a few of hers with her in her castle. I have a feeling that she has more rooms than she knows what to do with.”
“I wouldn’t doubt it, considering how big it is, seeing it for myself,” Luna replies with a soft chuckle.
He nods his head and chuckles a little in turn. "Can you have these done in about nine years? Celestia's term may have only started but I think you'd want it done before hoof.”
“I think I can. Maybe I can have it rented out and tested with some lucky expecting mothers to be in Canterlot to see how it lives up to their expectations.”
"Good. Don't want anything to go wrong with them before Celestia's little one will be here.”
“Of course not. I’ll have my best architects working on it to ensure it’s perfect.”
"Good. Despite what ponies may think, I do have a soft spot for the foal she and I have and soon Twilight's foals and mine.”
“I see. That’s good to know right?” Luna replies, smiling softly.
"Yes it is. I would want my foals to have good and fruitful lives, but I will be having my son one day take over.”
“I understand. So he would assume your role one day, should you have one, correct?”
"Yes, and I'll be sticking around till I feel he's ready to take the mantle on full.”
“I see. That will be quite a thing to see, yes?” Luna says to him, taking the plans from Death and wrapping them up with a ribbon to tie it together.
"Yes it will," He says and then nods his head to her and pulls the cowl of his hood back up. "Excuse me Princess... I must be going. Twilight is waiting for me back at her castle.”
“Understood Death. Care to escort me back to my throne, since I now know you solely don’t possess a heart of darkness?”
Death chuckles a little and then stands up and offers her a hoof. "Of course I will.”
“Very well then. Follow me again,” Luna nods to him as she opens the doors again with the plans inside her magical aura.
"No need Princess. I know the way now," He says as he takes her hoof but lets her take the lead.
She nods and takes a slight lead in front of Death, leading him back to the throne room. “Tell me, from whom did you inherit this… title, so to speak?”
"My father a very, very long time ago. If I can recall right... not too long after you and your sister were crowned by the three races.”
“Hmm I see. So I guess that gives away your age a bit then, hmm?” Luna chuckles lightheartedly.
"Yes it does," He replies and then opens the throne room doors with his magic. "Now have a good nine years Princess Luna. You'll have your sister back and maybe with another one or two in addition to her current foal.”
“Understood.” She nods to him as she looks into the massive throne room again. “I will be anxious to talk with my sister again. It is quite dull without her here to talk to.”
"I understand that. But don't worry, she'll be ok and you'll have more family.”
“To look after for sure, correct?”
"Yes. Now I must be off.”
“Fare thee well, Death. I trust you’ll continue to care for my sister and Twilight,” Luna nods to him respectively with a small grin.
"I will. Now fair thee well," He says and then vanishes in a flash of light.
The lunar princess looks where the figure had just stood in front of her and sees that he is gone. She smirks again and enters the throne room, sitting on her throne again with the plans in her possession. “Guards?” she asks one of them in a soft tone.
"Yes Your Majesty?" The guard says and quickly stands at attention.
“Contact the castle architects and let them meet me by my chambers later in the afternoon today.”
"Yes Princess!" He says and quickly gives her a salute before rushing past her to get the ponies she requested.
Luna nods and looks at the rolled up pieces of paper in her possession, knowing that this addition to the castle will be welcoming for the numerous new additions that would be coming to the castle soon enough.
Twilight's Contract with Death
"Hello Princess Twilight," Death says, pushing open the large double doors to the seven throned room with a large ethereal map of Equestria spanning out before her. As he clears the doors he pulls them shut with his magic and gives her a small bow of his head.
“Death. How wonderful to meet you. I take it you didn’t have any trouble finding the place?” Twilight replies in a sarcastic manner, “enthused” by his presence as she sits on her throne.
"Oh come now Princess, if you want me to agree to our deal then lighten up," He says as he sits in the throne with a cloud with a rainbow colored bolt of lightning shooting from it. "Now let's talk.”
“Okay, is this better?” the purple alicorn replies in a more “lightened” tone to appease him, a “cheerful” smile on her face.
"Very. Now onto what our terms were that you had mentioned in your contract.”
“Very well then. I believe the terms of contract were that, in exchange for continued longevity of my friends, I would serve you for ten years. That seems correct, does it not?”
"Yes it is," He says as he looks down at the map and then looks up into her eyes. Do you wish to discuss anything that you don't want to happen to you while you're my slave?”
“Something that I don’t want to happen to me even though I am at your whim? You must be generous…” Twilight smirks slightly, cocking an eyebrow at the hooded figure across from her.
"Being one who makes most of my undead living making deals is something I won't jeopardize because the deals are all the fun," He says and then taps a hoof against Rainbow's throne. "Now is there anything that comes to mind?”
“I don’t have many, but one of them is a safe word to have… just in case. You wouldn’t want any unwanted harm coming to the princess of friendship, especially since she’ll be in the presence of her teacher, would you not?”
"Of course not. Now what shall you desire the word to be?" He asks and then pulls out a scroll from the inside of his cloak and set it out on the map. "Do you perhaps have a quill?”
“I do,” she says, using her magic to levitate a purple feathered quill towards him.
"Thank you," He says and takes the quill from her with his magic and writes down her condition. "Now what do you wish to be your safe word?”
“I wish the word to be ‘Starswirl.’”
"'Starswirl?' If you wish.”
“I also would like it if you refrain from anything… extreme, so to speak…”
"And just what do you think is to extreme?" He asks as he makes quick notes to their contract.
“Well, you know, bathroom and baby stuff, that sort of thing. Also, no blood please. I can deal with a little bit of pain, but nothing too extreme please.”
"Deal, none of those are my thing anyway," He replies and then rolls up the scroll. "Ready for your attire?”
“As ready as I’ll ever be,” Twilight nods, knowing that she probably won’t like it, but it’s for her friends’ lives.
He smirks under his hood and pulls out two items; a collar and a leash. "Put the collar on, please.”
The Alicorn nods and levitates the collar with her magic, placing it around her neck with Death securing it.
"Now then... this collar will not come off unless I take it off understood? For the time it is a symbol of your service to me for the next ten years.”
“Of course Death…”
"Just like your teacher who still is unaware that you are making a deal with me," He says and then gives the leash a gentle tug. "Now up and stand still.”
Twilight nods to him and obediently gets up from her throne.
He smiles and then gets up from the throne and then walks around it to look her body over. "A little pudgy... no offense but I think I can help you with that.”
“Oh, can you now?”
"Yes, but you'll just have to wait to see," He says and then walks behind her and lifts her tail with a hoof. "Cute, and soon you'll have the honor of feeling my cock inside it.”

Twilight tilts her head down as she follows Death as he leads them near town, her ears flopped down, whimpering softly as she quickly glances to her side, seeing other ponies look at her strangely with the strange hooded figure.
"Head up my pet and do try to look happy. You're keeping your friends alive by doing this. I would think that you'd be happy.”
“Oh… right, but this is so embarrassing…” Twilight says softly as she puts on a fake smile and keep her head up, being paraded through town with her “owner,” still wondering what they think of them seeing what was behind her raised tail.
"Don't think about who is watching, think about the good you are doing for your friends," Death says with a smile as he looks over his shoulder at Twilight who was trying her hardest to ignore the looks and stares that were directed her way.
“R-Right…” Twilight replies in a more optimistic tone to hide her fear of being watched in the position that she was in.
"Now I want you to relax and you get bonus points for keeping your tail up when I never asked you to.”
“Y-Yes sir…”
Death smiles under his hood and then uses his magic to massage her flank gently.

"Good girl now into this portal you go," He says as his magic slowly forms a portal at the end of a bridge at the outskirts of the small town. "It will take us to my home.”

Twilight nods, closing her eyes and takes few steps forward into the portal, not wondering what was on the other side of the portal and thus, beginning her contract.
Twilight's Contract with Death
A First Time for Everything
As Twilight and Death appear inside of his large underground castle he looks back at her and smiles as the portal that he used to bring them there vanishes behind her. "What do you think my pet?”
“What… is this place? It’s nothing like I’ve read or heard of before…” Twilight says in awe, looking at the strange architecture of Death’s castle.
"There are reasons why you've never heard of it before. I close myself off from the outside world but I still have my ways of obtaining wisdom from it and without having to leave. That secret is how I knew of you before you could even first form a glow of magic from your horn.”
“Really? How… is that so?”
"Well, let's say that it's a secret those who know me personally. Now, I think there is somepony here you'd love to speak with, yes? What was her name?" He asks as he starts walking forward and gives her leash a gentle tug to keep her walking with him.
"Princess Celestia?" Twilight asks, anxious to see her mentor again.
"Maybe... But it may also be somepony you've learned so much about," He says, teasing her about either wanting to see her teacher or somepony who she had studied about for years. "But while I go and get her, I want you to wait right here," He says and ties her leash to a candle stand. "Be good while I'm gone.”
"I will... Master," Twilight says, staying in character.
"Good girl," He says then pets her head gently before turning and continues on his walk to find Celestia.
Twilight looks around where she was tied, wondering what was in store for her during the length of her contract.

"Celestia, how is our daughter doing?" Death asks as he walks into their room, seeing her cradling their daughter while she feeds the Pegasus filly.
"She's doing well, Death. Just enjoying her meal." Celestia says to Death, grinning as he little filly coos as she enjoys her meal.
"That's good to hear." He says and leans down and kisses her head softly. "She nearly done?”
She nods. "You want to hold her?”
"Of course, and by the way," He says and lifts his daughter from Celestia's grasp and cradles her in his own as he takes a seat. "Another of my pets is here and I want you to take her to my playroom and keep her there talking till I come for her.”
"Yes... Master," Celestia nods and bows to her Master.
"Good girl, now go and don't keep my other slave waiting.”
Celestia nods and swiftly exits the room, heading towards where her Master's new pet was waiting for her.

As Twilight sits where Death had tied her to, her thoughts started wandering to what could happen during her time away from her friends and her family. 'What if... what if they don't know me anymore or hate me for doing this…'
"Twilight?" A familiar voice interrupts her thoughts, making her ears flick upwards.
"Celestia? Is it re-really you?" She asks quickly turning her attention to where her teacher stood, wearing a maid outfit and her normally flowing mane tied into buns.
"Yes it is Twilight Sparkle, my prized pupil, the regal mare nods and leans down to gently nuzzle her. "You're Master's new pet, I take it?”
"Yes I am... but I didn't think I'd ever see you like this..." Twilight says as she nuzzles her teacher happily, knowing that she wouldn't face the hardship alone.
"Well, it's in order for you, Luna and Cadance to have continued immortality." She replies and undoes the know from Twilight's leash and pulls on leads her towards Death's playroom.
"So it was for us as much as you?" Twilight asks as she follows her teacher through the halls, making sure that she followed close enough so that the leash wasn't pulling to hard on her collar.
"Yes, pretty much. What was your contract for?”
"To keep my friends alive, I am giving myself to him for ten years.”
“I see now. I have quite a few years left on mine, so we’ll be able to see each other on a normal basis, for the most part,” Celestia mentions.
"That's good..." Twilight says happily with a sigh of relief.
“Yes it is, though we are on the servant side of things instead of the ruling side, if you catch what I mean…”
Twilight looks down at the floor that she was walking on and nods silently.
Celestia continues to lead Twilight towards another room near the “play room” and closes the door behind her. “I figured since Death… I mean… Master is busy with our foal, I figured we’d have a few minutes to talk as equals.”
"I'd like that a lot," Twilight says with a small smile and then looks up into her teacher's eyes. "So how has your time been here?”
“It’s been… interesting here with him. He’s treated me well, despite punishing me a few times for being… naughty…” Celestia blushes softly.
Twilight blushes and looks away a little and smiles. "How naughty?”
“W-Well, I’ve… disobeyed him purposely and wanted to be… spanked…” Celestia blushes deeply, trying to hide her beet red face from Twilight.
"I didn't know you had this side to you," Twilight says as she moves around to look into her face.
“There are many things you don’t know about me, Twilight…”
